“We have driven the Austrian troops from Bavaria, and restored our ally to the sovereignty of his dominions. That army, which, with equal presumption and imprudence, marched upon our frontiers, is annihilated.”
- Napoleon, 1805
I always dig Bavarian uniforms, the light blue of their flag is a nice little addition. The blue and white go together nicely.
From Napoleon’s German Allies (4): Bavaria

A scenario for you:
Raz tells Sasha about the conversation he and Oleander had in the bowling alley, or just the bit about "He said he didn't even know where your accent was from."
Smash cut to Sasha busting into Oleander's office like "WHAT DO YOU *MEAN* YOU DON'T KNOW WHERE MY ACCENT COMES FROM?? YOU'RE WEARING A REPLICA WORLD-WAR-ONE GERMAN HELMET!"
Oleander now has to explain how he keeps cosplaying as a german soldier while being a war-movie-loving nerd and yet DOESN'T RECOGNIZE GERMAN.

oleander just walking around dressed like that is so hilarious when you really think about it.

The surrender of Fort de Vaux. A German company stands to attention as their CO accepts the Fort’s surrender. Major Raynal’s arm can be seen poking out of a firing port, clutching his officer’s sword, which signifies the surrender of the fort.
