Ok what if I told you I made an au about the funky freight trains from StEx 2024. Like what if I just ramble for like a minute.

Ok so the au takes place in an alternate reality where everyone is a human. Except the freights of course. They are robots who were made in a facility to ‘improve the world’ as they were told. That was a lie. And once porter and lumber found out, they grabbed hydra and slick and noped out of there real quick. Of course having no idea what the world outside the facility is like and running on limited fuel the took refuge in an abandoned clock tower to live in. Which just so happens to be in the city where’s all the other humans(other trains) live.

Now the freights are busy juggling securing their basic needs of survival and living while trying to not let the world know they exist. And the others are trying to figure out who the heck these weird-oddly human looking- things are.

They have to deal with nosy college students, a old woman who wants to adopt them, a gang who is pissy they keep stopping them from stealing stuff, a freaking mafia who isn’t keen on having their work interrupted, and of course the facility who made them is still hunting them down and trying to get them back. And to top it all off they have ever developing AI system and powers that they won’t be able to control without proper training.

Safe to say they have their work cut out for them
