The long-term health effects of vaping remain uncertain, and nicotine, a component of vapes, can be highly addictive, leading to withdrawal symptoms such as anxiety, difficulty concentrating, and headaches. While vaping may help adult smokers quit, it should never be an option for children.  

Disposable Vapes: A Catalyst for the Crisis

Disposable vapes have played a pivotal role in this surge, with the proportion of 11 to 17-year-olds using disposable vapes increasing almost ninefold in the last two years. To address this issue, the government is taking bold steps to curb the use of disposable vapes and protect young people from their allure.   A Comprehensive Approach to Tackle Youth Vaping The UK government's multifaceted approach includes: 1. Flavor Restrictions: New powers will be introduced to restrict flavors that specifically target children, making vaping less appealing to young users. 2.
