From River To The Sea Palestine Will Be Free 🇵🇸🇵🇸🇵🇸
-----
Edit 1: took the first video down because turns out the animator is a terf and it links to her blog. Really sorry for any distress.
Edit 2: All recommended readings + Haymarket recommendations + essential decolonization texts have been uploaded to my linked gdrive. I will adding more periodically. Please do buy or check them out from the library if possible, but this post was made for and by poor and gatekept Global South bitches like me.
Some have complained about the memes being disrespectful. You're actually legally obligated to make fun of Israeli propaganda and Zionists. I don't make the rules.
Edit 3: "The river to the sea" does not mean the expulsion of Jews from Palestine. Believing that is genocide apologia.
Edit 4: Gazans have specifically asked us to put every effort into pushing for a ceasefire instead of donations. "Raising humanitarian aid" is a grift Western governments are pushing right now to deflect from the fact that they're sending billions to Israel to keep carpet bombing Gazans. As long as the blockades are still in place there will never be enough aid for two million people. (UPDATE: PLEASE DONATE to the Gazan's GoFundMe fundraisers to help them buy food and get out of Rafah into Egypt. E-SIMs, food and medical supplies are also essential. Please donate to the orgs linked in the How You Can Help. Go on the strikes. DO NOT STOP PROTESTING.)
Edit 5: Google drive link for academic books folder has been fixed. Also have added a ton of resources to all the other folders so please check them out.
Edit 6: Added interactive maps, Jadaliya channel, and masterlists of donation links and protest support and of factsheets.
The twitter accounts I reposted as it was given to me and I just now realized it had too many Israeli voices and almost none of the Palestinians I'm following, so it's being edited. (Update: done!) also removed sources like Jewish Voices of Peace and Breaking the Silence that do good work but have come under fair criticism from Palestinians.
Edit 7: Complete reformatting
Edit 8: Complete revamping of the social media section. It now reflects my own following list.
Edit 9: removed some more problematic people from the allies list. Remember that the 2SS is a grift that's used to normalize violence and occupation, kids. Supporting the one-state solution is lowest possible bar for allyship. It's "Free Palestine" not "Free half of Palestine and hope Israel doesn't go right back to killing them".
Edit 10: added The Palestine Directory + Al Jazeera documentary + Addameer. This "100 links per post" thing sucks.
Edit 11: more documentaries and films
Edit 12: reformatted reading list
Edit 13: had to remove @palipunk's masterlist to add another podcast. It's their pinned post and has more resources Palestinian culture and crafts if you want to check it out
Edit 14 6th May '24: I've stopped updating this masterlist so some things, like journalists still left in Gaza and how to support the student protests are missing. I've had to take a step back and am no longer able to track these things down on my own, and I've hit the '100 links per post' limit, but if you can leave suggestions for updates along with links in either the replies or my asks I will try and add them.
Edit 15 10th August: added to Palestinian allies list and reworked the Help for Palestine section. There's been a racist harrassment campaign against the Palestinian Tumblrs that vetted the Gaza fundraisers based off one mistake made by a Gazan who doesn't understand English. If you're an ally, shut that shit down. Even if you donate to a scam GFM, you're only out some coffee money; if everyone stops donating to all the GFMs in fear of scams, those families die.

The Power of Local Citations: Elevating Your Google 3 Pack Position
In the digital realm, where local businesses vie for online visibility and customer attention, securing a prime position in Google's coveted 3 Pack is akin to claiming a spot on the virtual podium. This comprehensive guide delves into the transformative power of local citations in catapulting businesses to the top ranks of Google's local search results, exploring strategies, best practices, and the profound impact on businesses' online success.
Understanding Local Citations and Their Significance
Local citations refer to online mentions of a business's name, address, and phone number (NAP) across various online platforms, including directories, review sites, social media platforms, and local listings. These citations serve as digital breadcrumbs that guide search engines like Google in determining a business's relevance, authority, and prominence in local search results.
The Role of Local Citations in Google 3 Pack Rankings
Google's 3 Pack, also known as the local pack or map pack, is a prominent feature in local search results that showcases the top three businesses relevant to a user's query. Securing a position in the Google 3 Pack can significantly increase a business's visibility, drive traffic, and ultimately, boost revenue. Local citations play a crucial role in determining which businesses appear in the 3 Pack, as they serve as signals of trust, authority, and relevance to Google's algorithm.
Strategies for Harnessing the Power of Local Citations
Elevating your Google 3 Pack position requires a strategic approach to local citation management. Here are some key strategies to consider:
Claim and Optimize Your Google My Business Listing
Start by claiming and optimizing your Google My Business (GMB) listing, as it is one of the primary sources of information for Google's local search algorithm. Ensure that your NAP information is accurate and consistent across all platforms, and take advantage of additional features like photos, reviews, and posts to enhance your listing's visibility and appeal.
Audit and Update Existing Citations
Conduct a thorough audit of your existing local citations to identify any inaccuracies, inconsistencies, or missing information. Update and correct these citations to ensure that your business's NAP information is consistent across all online platforms, including directories, review sites, and social media profiles.
Build High-Quality Citations on Authoritative Platforms
Focus on building high-quality citations on authoritative platforms relevant to your industry and location. Look for reputable directories, industry-specific websites, and local listings that can enhance your business's visibility and credibility in the eyes of both users and search engines.
Encourage and Manage Customer Reviews
Positive customer reviews not only improve your business's reputation but also signal trust and authority to Google's algorithm. Encourage satisfied customers to leave reviews on your GMB listing and other relevant review sites, and actively engage with and respond to customer feedback to demonstrate your commitment to customer satisfaction.

If you ever get into an argument on here with someone and the very unlikely scenario happens that they send you a source make sure you actually read the source as literally every single time this has happened to me they have literally misread what the source is about or not bothered to read how the data was carried out and both completely invalidate their argument. 9 times out of 10 the piss poor reading comprehension will win the argument for you
#like a couple of weeks ago someone sent me a WIKIPEDIA source of all things and not only was it not a source on the sector I was talking#about it was from 2011 and the information was completely out of date#the other day I said fgo had more free currency than genshin#and for some reason they felt the need to back up their point that genshin was more generous with citations??#i didnt really care but i was shocked that genshin was supposedly more generous#so i checked it out and turns out that it was a complete list of GENSHINS primos in 2023 but fates was missing maintenence#interludes rank ups bond and servant ascensions#and was literally just an estimate of what we'd get#and when I converted the free currency to actual pulls fate STILL gave more pulls than genshin with the list being incomplete 😂

to all my researchers, students and people in general who love learning: if you don't know this already, i'm about to give you a game changer
connectedpapers
the basic rundown is: you use the search bar to enter a topic, scientific paper name or DOI. the website then offers you a list of papers on the topic, and you choose the one you're looking for/most relevant one. from here, it makes a tree diagram of related papers that are clustered based on topic relatability and colour-coded by time they were produced!
for example: here i search "human B12"
i go ahead and choose the first paper, meaning my graph will be based around it and start from the topics of "b12 levels" and "fraility syndrome"
here is the graph output! you can scroll through all the papers included on the left, and clicking on each one shows you it's position on the chart + will pull up details on the paper on the right hand column (title, authors, citations, abstract/summary and links where the paper can be found)
you get a few free graphs a month before you have to sign up, and i think the free version gives you up to 5 a month. there are paid versions but it really depends how often you need to use this kinda thing.
#honestly it is quite fun#scienceblr#studyblr#connectedpapers#anyway yeah be free everyone have fun#resources#katie rambles

TRIKARANOS CHAPTER I: S·T·T·L
TRIKARANOS is a comic about Crassus until it isn't. Intended for an adult audience.
⭐ Trikaranos will always be free to read. In the near future, you’ll have the option to support this comic & my ability to spend time making it (I Am Extremely Fucking Broke And Have Bills To Pay etc etc) through Patreon! currently, I have a tip jar!
⭐ There is no set update schedule (chapters vary in length and will be posted as I finish working on them)
⭐ alternative places to read it (coming soon!)
CREDITS all additional art used are in the public domain, and the specific images used are open access, etc
🍊the first collage panel is combination of: Plate 113: Greeks Battling the Trojans (from Ovid's Metamorphoses), Antonio Tempesta / The Trojans pulling the wooden horse into the city, Giulio Bonasone (after Francesco Primaticcio) / Terracotta hydria displaying Achilles waiting to ambush Triolos and Polyxena 🍊the second collage panel is: The Lictors bringing Brutus the bodies of his Sons, Jacques Louis David / the paint over of Brutus executing is own sons is my own work based on the composition of this relief of Brutus and condemning his sons to death. 🍊I also used my own art: a panel from the Prologue, and my own illustration of Brutus with the bodies of his sons
📖 PREVIOUS CHAPTER | START HERE | ToC (under construction!)
UNDER THE CUT creator’s commentary, ancient citations, whatever else seems relevant. ideally, this is optional! you shouldn’t need the citations for it to make sense as it unfolds since it’s a comic and a story first and foremost, but it’s here if you’re curious about something or want to see where the inspiration is coming from!
I'm so fucking normal about Crassus and his family (<<< this is a lie)
Marcus Crassus was the son of a man who had been censor and had enjoyed a triumph; but he was reared in a small house with two brothers. His brothers were married while their parents were still alive, and all shared the same table, which seems to have been the chief reason why Crassus was temperate and moderate in his manner of life. When one of his brothers died, Crassus took the widow to wife, and had his children by her, and in these relations also he lived as well-ordered a life as any Roman.
Plutarch, Crassus
like, it actively fucks me up that this is something that's survived about him for over 2,000 years. they all ate together at the same table. Jesus Christ.
so! Crassus' dad! Publius Licinius Crassus (consul 97) fought on the side of Cn. Octavius (consul 87) in the Bellum Octavianum, and it didn't go great for him.
Crassus: A Political Biography, B.A. Marshall
also. currently, if you look Publius Licinius Crassus up on wikipedia for an overview, his page lists his son (and also my main character for this comic) with the cognomen Dives, which is in-fucking-correct.
Marcus Crassus and the Late Roman Republic, Allen Mason Ward
and to circle back to houses and meals shared with family, some citations that made me feel some kind of way when I read them
Marcus Crassus and the Late Roman Republic, Allen Mason Ward
finally, there is discourse or whatever on the placement of the sons of Publius Licinius Crassus. Crassus is the baby brother here simply because I'm writing this story and I get to pick the themes, but also because no one has provided a solid enough argument for him being the second eldest son that I'm willing to buy into with enthusiasm, and I'm more inclined towards G. Sampson's conclusion on the matter.
Defeat of Rome: Crassus, Carrhae, and the Invasion of the East, Gareth C. Sampson
and while I'm just kind of talking about stuff that I read that I enjoyed, this article by Martin Stone lives in my head rent free
A Year of One's Own: Dating the Praetorship of Marcus Crassus, Martin Stone
#trikaranos the komik#hehghghh HELLO i'm back. oof. hgh#if i think too much about them as a family i take critical damage to my hit points

Reverse 1999 Connections to History: Wandering Womb & Hysteria
Isolde, Evangeline, and many other women were diagnosed with these "afflictions". This is a SFW run-down of Wandering Womb & Hysteria. I won't go into graphic details about anything, but its still one of the darker aspects of history. If this makes you uncomfortable, please skip over this post or stop reading!
For those who read on, we have a special historical figure with a last name you should all be familiar with! I'm excited to share my findings with you! All sources will be listed below. If I was a good Smol I'd include in text citations but I forgot to do it as I went. But who doesn't enjoy a scavenger hunt? Channel your Sonetto energy and read on!
Please feel free to add on or correct anything I got wrong. I left out A LOT for the sake of brevity and sensitivity but there is a lot to chew on in this topic.
Wandering Womb Concept:
Definition: Belief that a displaced uterus caused various medical issues in women.
Description: Aretaeus (2nd century AD) described the uterus as moving freely within the body, reacting to smells, akin to "an animal within an animal."
Scent therapy: Like an animated creature, the uterus was believed to be attracted to sweet and pleasant perfumes and repulsed by foul smells.
However, future generations would move away from blaming the womb and pin the blame on women's "weaker" minds and bodies. It's one of the "illnesses" used to demonize or claim superiority over women. The way this illness was weaponized is extremely sinister but I'll leave it to the reader to look further into that if they want to. A Victorian woman going through menopause was often considered to be emotionally unstable. During this 'climacteric period', she may well have been prescribed leeching or bloodletting from the ankle. Her doctor would have advised against reading novels, going to parties and dancing. For a 45 – 50 year old Victorian woman, an onslaught of instability and madness was considered inevitable. Interesting how the "curse" on the women in Isolde's family killed them before they passed the age of 40.
The bullshitters (There's more well-known men with opinions but I'll keep this short and relevant to Reverse 1999):
Aretaeus: Advocated the mobile uterus theory. The origin of bullshit.
Edward Jorden: Popularized the concept in the 17th century through his treatise "The Suffocation of the Mother" (1603), linking it to hysteria and witchcraft. The spreader of bullshit. The Suffocation of the Mother connected the phenomenon of hysteria with actions like singing, laughing, crying, and choking.
Hysteria:
The idea of hysteria linked to the wandering womb, evolved from ancient Greek "hysterical suffocation." It was described as exhibiting a wide array of symptoms, including anxiety, shortness of breath, fainting, nervousness, sexual desire, insomnia, fluid retention, heaviness in the abdomen, irritability, loss of appetite for food or sex, even sexually forward behavior, and a "tendency to cause trouble for others". It is no longer recognized by medical authorities as a medical disorder. Its diagnosis and treatment were routine for hundreds of years in Western Europe. Even though it was categorized as a disease, hysteria's symptoms were synonymous with normal functioning female sexuality. In the context of hysteria, every symptom and negative thought was linked to sex (also it was problem if you didn't want sex either). Essentially, you were "sick" because you were a woman. Woman disease. How dare females exist 😰
Hysteria was thought to affect only women until the early 1600s. Thomas Willis' concluded Hysteria originated in the brain, not the uterus, implying it could affect men. Despite Willis' findings, hysteria remained a common diagnosis for women, particularly in Victorian times.
Franz Anton Mesmer advanced the theory of hysteria, influencing John Elliotson and James Braid. Elliotson believed mesmerism was particularly effective for hysteria, noting it was not exclusive to women and also affected boys and men. Mesmerism is hypnotic induction held to involve animal magnetism, but we usually use the word "hypnotism". This man appeared in an old journal I was skimming and jump scared me!
Freud's Influence:
Freud shifted focus from physiological to psychological causes. He moved away from Charcot’s hereditary theories, emphasizing psychological rather than genetic or physiological triggers (mind rather than body). Repression is the basis for hysteria. Traumatic memories must be repressed to cause hysterical symptoms. Freud’s therapy aims to bring repressed memories to consciousness to alleviate symptoms. We can see Kakania using this method on Isolde.
Seduction Theory: Freud initially believed that actual childhood sexual abuse caused hysteria but later revised this to include fantasies. This shift was influenced by public resistance and scientific criticism.
Freud's Contributions to Hysteria Theory
Etiology based on nurture, not heredity.
Pubescent experiences as triggers, not causes.
Hysteria redefined as a psychological, not physiological (this one is a very big deal. He was quack, but this shift in perspective is why we've progressed so far in caring for people with PTSD, depression, and so on).
Emphasis on sexual infantile experiences and repression.
Gender distinctions in hysteria based on psychological attitudes towards abuse.
Modern Diagnoses and Connections: Symptoms previously labeled as hysteria are now diagnosed as:
Somatic Symptom Disorder: Characterized by physical symptoms that cannot be explained by medical conditions.
Dissociative Disorder: Involves a disconnection from reality, often linked to trauma.
Conversion Disorder: Involves neurological symptoms without a neurological basis, often linked to psychological factors.
However, there are many other potential diagnosis since hysteria is so broad and vague.

do you have any favorite books/articles/etc. on asexuality and/or aromanticism?
this is great timing, anon! @stephen-deadalus and i just recently published an article/webtext rellated to ace/aro rhetorics in a neuroqueer/transMad context. below is a link to that + another piece of mine, and some other works you should check out
First and foremost: check out Carnival of Aces and Carnival of Aros. The former was one of my main sources of info back in the day when I ID'd as ace (starting in 2012ish) and they're still going. Carnival of Aros is more recent, and their posts have been really interesting to read so far.
for articles:
[sarah] Cavar, In praise of -less: transMad shouts from absent (pl)aces (hiiiiiii)
[sarah] Cavar & ulysses c. bougie, port-man-toes: the aroace - queercrip - transmad - neuroqueer erotics of digital collaboration (hiiiiii pt. deux) [also see our references in this piece for more cites]
C. Bougie, Composing Aromanticism
Carter Vance, Unwilling Consumers: A Historical Materialist Conception of Compulsory Sexuality (h/t @queertemporality)
M. Remi Yergeau, Cassandra Isn't Doing the Robot: On Risky Rhetorics and Contagious Autism (a chapter in Yergeau's first monograph, Authoring Autism, also attends to the prefix 'demi' in compelling ways, esp. for those interested in neuroqueerness)
for books:
Twoey Gray, Hypoactive Sexual Desire Disorder. See my review in Feral Feminisms here, and the whole Ace & Aro Reviews Issue here.
Milks & Ceranowski, eds. Asexualities: Feminist and Queer Perspectives (the og one is out, but the 10th anniversary ed. is forthcoming this year....with a chapter by Ulysses and I again!)
Ela Przybylo, Asexual Erotics: Intimate Readings of Compulsory Sexuality
I haven't read the Ace anthology yet, so I rec with grains of salt included. But reviewers I respect have commented favorably on it, so I'm putting it here.
This list is pretty short, mostly because I wanted to keep the citations to those actually accessible for free online (apart from books). It is also because the most radical, interesting, and generative discourse happening on ace/aro subjectivity and community, at this time, is happening on Tumblr and other blogs. Genuinely. I recommend searching the ace/aro/loveless/lovequeer tags to get a sense of what is currently happening; these are the spaces where I get a lot of my information and citations, including for the published articles above. hope this helps get you started!
#not assuming you have institutional access to anything but if you see any cites you want hmu#ask#mine#book rec#asexuality#lovequeer#aromantcism#anonymous

Building the Perfect UK Citation List for Local SEO Success
In 2024, building a strong local presence is more important than ever for UK businesses aiming to improve their search rankings. One of the most effective strategies is to ensure your business is listed on the top business citation sites UK. These citations, which consist of mentions of your business’s name, address, and phone number (NAP), are crucial for local SEO success. By having a comprehensive citation list, businesses can increase their online visibility, build trust with search engines, and attract more local customers.
1. Why Citations Matter for Local SEO
Citations serve as proof of your business’s existence and legitimacy. When search engines like Google see consistent information about your business across various online directories, they gain more trust in your business, which helps boost your rankings in local search results. This is especially important for UK businesses targeting specific cities or regions.
For instance, a café in Leeds would want to ensure their information is listed consistently on platforms like Yell.com, Thomson Local, and 192.com. By doing so, search engines can confidently recommend the café to users searching for local places to eat, thereby increasing the likelihood of ranking in the local search pack.
2. Choosing the Right Citation Sites
Not all citation sites are created equal. To build the perfect UK citation list, you’ll need to identify the most relevant and high-quality directories for your industry. Popular general directories like Yell.com, Google My Business, and 192.com are a good starting point, as they have high domain authority and are widely recognized by search engines.
However, industry-specific directories can also play a significant role in boosting your local SEO. For example, if you run a legal firm, being listed on a directory that focuses on law services in the UK can give you an edge over competitors who are only listed on general directories.
Additionally, if your business caters to a local market, you’ll want to focus on UK-based directories like Thomson Local, Scoot, and Bing Places for Business. These platforms are specifically designed for UK audiences, making them ideal for targeting local customers in specific regions like London, Birmingham, or Manchester.
3. The Importance of NAP Consistency
Consistency is key when it comes to building citations. Your business’s Name, Address, and Phone number (NAP) must be identical across all directories and listing sites. Even small discrepancies, such as spelling out “Street” on one site and abbreviating it to “St.” on another, can confuse search engines and harm your local SEO efforts.
For example, a florist in Manchester could see a drop in their rankings if their NAP information is listed differently across multiple citation sites. By ensuring consistency, you’re sending clear signals to search engines that your business is legitimate and trustworthy, which can lead to improved search engine rankings.
Services like Citation Builder Pro can help simplify this process. These services ensure that your NAP information is accurate and consistent across all relevant citation sites, making it easier for search engines to validate your business.
4. Optimizing Your Listings for Maximum Impact
Simply listing your business on citation sites is not enough—you also need to optimize each listing. Adding details like a clear business description, high-quality photos, and relevant keywords can enhance your listings and make them more appealing to both search engines and potential customers.
For instance, a restaurant in Edinburgh could optimize their listings by including professional photos of their dishes, customer reviews, and a detailed description of their menu offerings. This not only makes the listing more attractive but also provides search engines with more information to help rank the business higher in local search results.
5. Tracking and Managing Your Citations
Once your citations are built and optimized, it’s essential to monitor them regularly. Citations can sometimes change due to platform updates or user-generated content, so keeping an eye on them ensures that your NAP details remain consistent. Tools like Citation Builder Pro offer tracking features that can notify you of any discrepancies, allowing you to fix them before they affect your rankings.
In addition to tracking, it’s also important to build new citations periodically. The more reputable sites your business is listed on, the stronger your local SEO becomes. By continuously adding citations on new, high-quality platforms, you can stay ahead of competitors and ensure long-term success in local search results.
Conclusion
Building the perfect UK citation list is a fundamental step toward achieving local SEO success. By ensuring your business is listed on relevant and high-quality directories, maintaining NAP consistency, and optimizing your listings, you can significantly improve your search rankings and attract more local customers. Services like Citation Builder Pro can help streamline the process, making it easier to build, manage, and monitor your citations effectively. With the right strategy in place, your business will be well-positioned to dominate local SEO in 2024.

3 papers to read in Deaf & disability studies within linguistics
I was compiling a to-read list for another purpose anyways, so I thought I might as well drop this here! These 3 papers are at the intersection of Deaf studies, disability studies, and linguistics. Jon Henner, Lina Hou, and Octavian Robinson are all scholars to read in this area.
Henner, J., & Robinson, O. (2023). Unsettling languages, unruly bodyminds: A crip linguistics manifesto. Journal of Critical Study of Communication and Disability, 1(1), 7-37. The paper is here, and there's also this lovely podcast version read by Vagrant Gautam.
Hou, L., & Namboodiripad, S. (2024). Manifesting a Crip Linguistic Theory through a Critical Disability Raciolinguistic Perspective. A preprint of the paper is available here.
Robinson, O. E., Sheneman, N., & Henner, J. (2020). Toxic ableism among interpreters: Impeding deaf people’s linguistic rights through pathological posturing. Honouring the past, treasuring the present, shaping the future, 14-41. The paper is here.
I'm new to reading in this topic, so I may do another post with another set of papers in the future when I have read more deeply! If you know other papers that talk about Deaf and disability studies in linguistics, please feel free to drop links and citations Check out my 3 Papers To Read tag for other linguistics recommended reading

Can you please tell me what abilities sun wukong have because am always confused about it i even hear some people says that sun wukong is omniscient and omnipresent and can control time or that he is is a boundless character
At no point in JTTW is Monkey ever depicted as a boundless character with omniscience, omnipresence, and control over time. Anyone claiming that has never read the novel. Never ever trust any online claims about Sun Wukong unless a cited quote is provided.
Having said that, I am slowly compiling a comprehensive list of all of Monkey's magical abilities and skills, complete with corresponding Chinese terms and citations. However, I am nowhere close to being done (and won't be for years), so I can only give you a general list at this time. But I will link to my past articles where applicable.
The following is based on a list I wrote a few months ago for someone looking to make their D&D campaign more authentic.
Immortality - He has six layers of immortality. But these are more like layers of invulnerability. As a "bogus immortal" (yaoxian, 妖仙) he is still susceptible to injury and death because he hasn’t yet achieved Buddha-nature and broken free of the wheel of rebirth (see note #1 here for an explanation).
Invulnerability - He has an adamantine hide that can't be pierced or hurt by earthly or heavenly weapons and elements (this doesn't count the times that he allows himself to be cut). This is thanks to all of the immortal foodstuff he had eaten in heaven being refined within his body by his samadhi fire, giving him a "diamond body" (jingang zhi qu, 金鋼之軀). Sometimes he uses this invulnerability to freak out demons by blocking a sword strike with his bald head. However, he can still be hurt. For example, he is twice wounded by special elements born from spiritual cultivation, samadhi fire and wind (the book treats cultivated and heavenly elements as two different things). Also, one villain, a scorpion demoness energized with Buddhist dharma power, is able to successfully penetrate his skin by stinging him in the face with her tail.
72 changes - He can transform into anything. The only flaw is his tail, which doesn't always change the way he wants it to. Or, a character recognizes him because of his red butt.
Cloud somersault - This allows him to fly 108,000 li (33,554 mi / 54,000 km) in a single leap. The skill is actually a metaphor for instantaneous enlightenment, for those who achieve it will immediately arrive in the Buddha's paradise.
Magic hairs - He can change any one of his 84,000 hairs into anything he wants (tools, random objects, living creatures, etc.) These include hair clones, which are autonomous copies of himself that can range into the tens, hundreds, thousands, millions, or even billions. However, he only deploys these on a small scale in the novel. He never uses the power to its full stated extent.
Super strength - His greatest feat is carrying two mountains while running "with the speed of a meteor." But there are characters physically stronger than him. For instance, Monkey cannot escape the grip of the Great Peng bird once he is caught in his powerful talons.
Martial arts - He is proficient in armed and unarmed combat, being able to go toe-to-toe with deities with centuries more combat experience than him. "Short Fist," a historical style, is listed as his preferred boxing method. But he mainly relies on his magic iron staff for fighting.
General magic - Monkey is shown capable of calling forth gods and spirits, growing or shrinking to any size, parting fire and water, creating impassable barriers, conjuring wind storms, casting illusions, freezing people in place, putting anyone to sleep, unlocking any lock, bestowing superhuman strength, bringing the dead back to life, turning invisible, changing someone's appearance, traveling to and from heaven and hell, etc.
Magic Eyes - He can see through illusions. But this isn't always portrayed consistently, for I know of several times where Guanyin fools him, and even a god of the soil, a lesser deity, is once able to do the same thing.
Medicine - He can diagnose maladies and concoct medicines to solve the issue.
You can see that omniscience, omnipresence, and control over time are not listed. I think the problem is that people are confusing Sun Wukong at two different points in his character arc. The powers listed above come from the journey itself (ch. 13 to 100). The omni-level powers would come after he achieves Buddhahood at the end of the novel (ch. 100). However, it's very, very important to know that the story ends before Sun Wukong, now the "Victorious Fighting Buddha," performs any feats (i.e. he has no feats as a Buddha). I'm sure people could assign him powers ascribed to other Buddhas in religious literature, but what happens after the story ends is beyond canon.
I hope this helps.
#Sun Wukong#Monkey King#Journey to the West#JTTW#monkey buddha#Victorious Fighting Buddha#Buddha Victorious in Strife#magic powers#People who make spurious claims about Sun Wukong need to read the fucking novel!!!#Read the fucking novel!!!#Do it!!!#Just do it!!!#Lego Monkie Kid#LMK

Wikipedia’s editors have voted to declare the Anti-Defamation League “generally unreliable” on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, adding it to a list of banned and partially banned sources. An overwhelming majority of editors involved in the debate about the ADL also voted to deem the organization unreliable on the topic of antisemitism, its core focus. A formal declaration on that count is expected next. The decision about Israel-related citations, made last week, means that one of the most prominent and longstanding Jewish advocacy groups in the United States — and one historically seen as the leading U.S. authority on antisemitism — is now grouped together with the National Inquirer, Newsmax, and Occupy Democrats as a source of propaganda or misinformation in the eyes of the online encyclopedia. Moreover, in a near consensus, dozens of Wikipedia editors involved in the discussion said they believe the ADL should not be cited for factual information on antisemitism as well because it acts primarily as a pro-Israel organization and tends to label legitimate criticism of Israel as antisemitism.
Imagine pouring millions into Hasbara for decades just to lose the information war this fucking badly lmaooo
Anyway, plugging my masterlist of Palestinian media and sources again:

Maximizing Local SEO with Effective Citation Building: A Comprehensive Guide
In the digital age, local businesses face fierce competition for online visibility. With consumers increasingly relying on the internet to find products and services in their area, mastering local search engine optimization (SEO) is crucial for success. One of the most powerful strategies in the local SEO toolkit is citation building. In this comprehensive guide, we'll delve into the intricacies of maximizing local SEO through effective citation building, exploring its importance, strategies, best practices, and real-world examples.
Understanding the Foundations of Local SEO
Before diving into citation building, it's essential to understand the foundations of local SEO. Local SEO refers to the process of optimizing a website to attract more traffic, leads, and conversions from local searches. Unlike traditional SEO, which focuses on ranking nationally or globally, local SEO targets specific geographic locations.
What Are Citations and Why Do They Matter?
Citations are online references to a business's name, address, and phone number (NAP). They play a crucial role in local SEO as search engines like Google use them to evaluate the credibility and authority of a business. Citations serve as digital breadcrumbs that validate a business's existence and legitimacy, contributing to its visibility in local search results.
The Impact of Citations on Local Search Rankings
Numerous studies have demonstrated the significant impact of citations on local search rankings. Search engines rely on consistency and accuracy across citations to determine a business's prominence and relevance in a specific location. Businesses with consistent and accurate citations are more likely to rank higher in local search results, attracting more organic traffic and potential customers.
Strategies for Effective Citation Building
Now that we understand the importance of citations in local SEO, let's explore some strategies for effective citation building:
Conduct a Citation Audit
Start by conducting a comprehensive audit of your existing citations. Identify any inconsistencies, inaccuracies, or missing citations across various online directories, review sites, and social platforms. Tools like Moz Local, BrightLocal, and Whitespark can streamline the citation audit process, providing insights into your citation profile. But manual tracking will give us 100% accurate results.
Claim and Optimize Your Google My Business Listing
Google My Business (GMB) is a cornerstone of local SEO and citation building. Claiming and optimizing your GMB listing is essential for enhancing your online visibility and attracting local customers. Ensure that your business information is complete, accurate, and up-to-date, including your NAP, business hours, categories, and photos.
Leverage Local Directories and Niche Platforms
Expand your citation profile by submitting your business information to local directories, industry-specific platforms, and niche directories relevant to your business. Focus on authoritative directories with high domain authority (DA) and relevance to your industry or location. Popular citation sources include Yelp, Yellow Pages, Apple Maps, and Bing Places.
Consistency is Key
Consistency is paramount when it comes to citation building. Ensure that your NAP information is consistent across all citations, including abbreviations, formatting, and punctuation. Inconsistencies can confuse search engines and potential customers, leading to lower rankings and missed opportunities.
Monitor and Maintain Your Citations
Citation building is an ongoing process that requires regular monitoring and maintenance. Keep track of your citations using tools like Google Search Console, Moz Local, Whitspark or BrightLocal. Address any inconsistencies, duplicates, or inaccuracies promptly to maintain a clean and optimized citation profile.

To illustrate the impact of citation building, let's explore some real-world examples of businesses that have successfully leveraged citations to improve their local SEO:
