-yes, I too, see the ratio change from pic one to pic two. so like uhhhh Imagine the first photo attempt failed bc frederica set the time for 3s and not 10 (I wrote that detail in there somewhere actually 👁️) and then on top of that the phone falls over from where it was perched so she sets it up again and this time it's more focused and all that jazz 😌

-the ax is like. its the Rosen Ritter ax??? guys I looked up a pic and tried ok It's there bc I thought schenkopp would 110% bring it with him when they go for this outing and as a cute touch in his opinion, give it to the snowman 🤭

-they run back to catch the meeting after lunch break is over, just barely make it on time...they're greeted by Cazerne--the only one who figured out where they were even going in such a hurry for the break--and hes prepared them some hot chocolate 🥺 he's all "close one huh 🤨" but they all know he means it in some jest. They file in one by one with lil thank u's as they take a cup and everyone heads to the meeting 😌

My review:

Well then... We just said farewell to Merkatz (everyone's favourite uncle), Schneider (A very good boy!) and Julian.

I loved the way Yang said his farewell to Merkatz in private and also let me the Admiral know just how much he values and appreciates him. It was a moving scene.

Then, the "Alcohol Is Mankind's Friend made it to this version! Yes, thank you!

Julian was absolutely worried his "dad" would be complete helpless without him around and I thought It was hilarious.

Julian said his goodbyes to everyone. The scene with Murai was confusing, but I especially liked his interaction with Attenborough and that little aside note from Attenborough's younger years at the academy and how he met Yang Wen-li.

Worried dad Yang Wen-li confides in whom? Why, Walter Von Schönkopf, of course!

You know... Like friends do.

This series is supposed to convince me Yang falls in love with Frederica Greenhill, but had him running to Walter Von Schönkopf at any given time.

Yang idled away doing nothing more than signing documents, pending the de facto approval of his civilian taskmaster, Rear Admiral Alex Caselnes, and aide, Lieutenant Frederica Greenhill. For the past two months he’d been whiling away the time in the central command room, reading history books and solving crossword puzzles, and breaking only for tea and naps. His demeanor was far from that of one hard at work. The field of his intelligence, overrun as it was with weeds, was in dire need of cultivation, crawling with gnats while its owner cared only about eating and sleeping.

Desperate to do something creative with his time, he began writing an essay on the theme of “Wine and Culture,” but after just a few lines of the introduction, his pen stopped. The sentences he’d written were nothing short of awful.
