I feel like this song should have appeared in Trolls 3, too, because the song's lyrics explain what Branch is feeling about his brothers

My Thoughts On... #54 - The "Freaky Friday" sequel 🎥 👩🏻‍🦳 🔄️ 👩🏻‍🦰
As many of you may know, they're soon releasing a sequel to the 2003 remake of Freaky Friday starring Jamie Lee Curtis and Lindsay Lohan. Well, I'd like to share my thoughts on the upcoming Disney movie. First of all, why do a sequel to a remake of a movie? I mean, I get that it's 2025, and originality is kind of dying out. But doesn't it seem confusing to make a sequel to a remade version of a movie when the original version never had a sequel? I mean, when they came out with a sequel to the 2021 remake of the Disney Channel original movie Under Wraps, that got my brain going "how" and "why". Also, if you've watched not only the 2003 remake of Freaky Friday, but also the original version from 1976, the remake from 1995, and the Disney Channel remake from 2018, you'd see that the plot is about an adult woman and her salty teenage daughter switching bodies. However, in the upcoming sequel to the 2003 version, they repeat the same premise, but the mom and daughter (I.E. Tess and Anna Coleman) are both adult women, and therefore, Lindsay Lohan isn't the rowdy teenage daughter that we've seen her as (before switching bodies with her mother) in 2003. So, it's just one adult within the body of another adult. But then again, since the Freaky Friday sequel is only soon-to-be released, there's not much detail. So, maybe once the movie is released, and I actually see it, maybe I'll get why doing this sequel was a sensible decision. I don't know how well this post will age after that, but, hopefully it'll age as best it can for the time being. Hopefully past even a minute or two. Anyway, those are my thoughts on the Freaky Friday sequel, in theaters on August 8th. I hope you enjoy this post, and be sure to favorite, re-blog, reply, and/or share. If you're interested, that is.

Freaky Friday (2003)
Hello, Spongey here. The time has come for our annual September tradition. You know, the one where my brother picks out a review subject out of a list I made. This time the list had its share of random Disney stuff as I guess I was just in that mood and he picked out a good one this time. Although it does tread some old ground for us. Last year I covered body swap episodes and went into the…

This weekend I saw “Freaky Friday” (2003) Comedy/Family
I’ve seen this movie before and liked it, so when i found it for sale at 1$ I grabbed it.
I really like Freaky Friday, even though I don’t normally like body swap stories due to their inherent social cringe. i really sympathize with the characters, and it’s great seeing them overcome the rift in their relationship.
The way they swapped bodies in the first place was… questionable. I’ve seen way worse but “Asian Vodo” is definitely not something you could get away with in the modern day lol.
It’s not a masterpiece, and some of the comedy falls flat, but on the whole it’s pretty good. The song the band sings also slaps.
8/10
