okay i forget if i already made a post about this but i think the fact that franziska full-names edgeworth is really interesting!! I know that she full names basically everyone when she addresses them but edgewrth specifically she only called "Miles" when we see them interacting as younger people. So she consciously switched to calling him "Miles Edgeworth" at some point which we can infer either was her growing up and deciding to be hyper-formal to show how grown up she is (probable but in my opinion she was trying to do this even at 13 so it doesnt make sense to me that that would motivate this change) OR!!!! was a reaction to the events of turnabout goodbyes/ Edgeworth faking his death

Franziska referring to Edgeworth by his full name is interesting for a couple of reasons, mostly due to the fact that she is continually bringing up his family name and therefore both M. E.'s relationship to his father and also the fact that her and edgeworth have very different fathers with differing baggage accompanying those relationships

We can see franziska calling edgeworth by his last name as a way of her belittling him as she often does by implying that he is not a Von Karma/ therefore bellow her BUT!! we also know from the airport convo in 2-4 that she USED to consider him a von karma...

and that allegedly her view on this changed recently.

I think its also worthy to point out though, that franziska calling him miles edgeworth also places an importance on a part of edgeworth's life that MvK did his best to erase or weaponize against him. MvK interestingly refers to him as "Edgeworth" so her adding this could be a show that they are more informal now because he ran away/ betrayed her/ the VK legacy ect. but also at this point she knows that MvK was guilty! And that Edgeworth sr. "beat" MvK (in whatever wild way von karmas categorize winning/ losing) so i like to think that theres something almost kind about referring to him as his whole name, symbolically seeing him as a whole person, acknowledging his past that shaped him from before they knew each other,,, </3

The way franziska perceives edgeworth is so fucking insane because she exclusively refers to him as either ‘Little Brother’, something that is both familiar and familial, OR ‘Miles Edgeworth’, which is absurdly formal but also clearly states that he is not a von Karma. Franziska’s opinion on Edgeworth’s “right to the von Karma name” changes repeatedly throughout the games and she simultaneously seems to think he is both more worthy and more of a genius than she could ever be whilst also adamantly refusing that he could understand just how much being a von Karma weighs on her.

I also personally love it because it expresses that Franziska views Edgeworth as a brother whilst also not denying Edgeworth’s connection to his Father and his past before he met her. Idk man franziska’s brain works so strangely and they make me crazy 💖💖💖😵‍💫😵‍💫
