I love the dynamic that France and America have.

France is kind of like a semi-overbearing parental figure who indulges America. He's a child in France's eyes. When he hangs out with America, he's always a little overwhelmed by how energetic and brash he is, but he still tries to have a good time while also attempting to "mentor" him. America on the other hand appreciates France and his gestures. He subconsciously wants a father figure, but he sees France more as a mature friend who always has his back.

Okay, I know this is from the magical strike au, but I think it describes their dynamic really well. France puts SO much thought into his relationship with America. He's worrying about coming off as an old man trying to be hip, thinking he'll end up babysitting and cleaning up messes, and just generally weighing the pros and cons to attending.

Meanwhile, America is literally just like "hey dude, wanna play Minecraft?"

I was gonna mope about having too much work over break and once again being unable to produce a big awesome work. but then I realized moping hours could actually be free sketching hours. kinda cool.

I mean, fair play to the man actually, it is quite a cute sign of Crozier's care for and knowledge of his crew that he knows offhand Diggle will like getting the pick of his personal stores, and the challenge of creating a fancy meal for the impending visitors - "He'll enjoy that!" :)

Thomas: "Teenagers" are a hassle. Especially Danny. Any tips on how to wrangle him?

Dr. Afton: I'm not the person you should be asking, Thomas--

Mia: Actually, you should just give him some freedom to discover himself, and then he'll eventually come around to you.

Mia (again): I've met Danny. He's not that bad of a kid!

Panel 2:

Danny: Are you going out to deliver now? Do you have a truck to drive in? Or do you walk? How heavy are all those bottles? Do you deliver to everyone on the block? Do you skip certain people? How late do you stay out delivering? Do you deliver overseas? Or is it just here in the mainland? Have you ever thought of delivering to Russia? I mean, the Soviet Union? Do they drink milk there too?

Francis: C'mon, scram, kid.
