(Quds)- BDS Topples Pro-Israel French Carrefour in Jordan. The pro-Israel French supermarket chain "Carrefour" has finally announced its closure in Amman after a year of resolute boycott adhered to by the Jordanian people. The boycott campaigns have led to a decline in Carrefour's sales in Jordan by over %75 since the onset of the Israeli aggression on Gaza on October 7, 2023. In March 2022, the French Group Carrefour announced a franchise partnership with Electra Consumer Products (ECP) and ECP's retail subsidiary Yenot Bitan, both active in the illegal Israeli settlement enterprise. Carrefour started measures to change its name to 'Hyper Max" merely to avoid further losses. The new name is linked to Majid Al Futtaim, the UAE company that holds the Carrefour franchise in Jordan, Middle East and North Africa region.
"Will will continue to boycott because Emirates is the biggest supporter of Zionism. We will not be fooled by a name change."

Doyoung's kfans are disgusting, trying to insuinate that ifans are 'less educated' for boycotting a franchise and to associate the korean mcd franchise with the uae branch?!
I didn't know mcd was considered a staple food for some people until the boycotts were announced. Even if your local mcdonalds is not directly related to the israel/ US branches, how do you have the ability to stomach the same burgers that have been given to the IDF soldiers, who are eating the burgers on the very same tank that they use to kill Palestinians with?

if they want to do all that they can, it's not like we're getting into their homes and will kill them
but they also have to admit they're scum. you can't just be a good person and support that and I don't care about anyone's opinion

Free Zones: If you opt for a Free Zone setup, you can enjoy 100% foreign ownership, tax exemptions, and full repatriation of profits. However, Free Zone businesses may be restricted from trading directly within the UAE without a local distributor.

Royal Challengers Bangalore: A Journey Through the IPL Seasons
Tumblr media
The Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) is one of the most popular franchises in the Indian Premier League (IPL). Known for their passionate fan base, star-studded line-ups, and thrilling performances, RCB’s journey through the IPL seasons has been a rollercoaster ride filled with highs and lows. Here’s a comprehensive look at RCB’s journey through the IPL seasons.
Stay updated on the RCB Team Players List for the IPL, with detailed squad information and the playing schedule, in our extensive guide RCB Team Players List.
2008: The Inaugural Season
RCB had a rocky start in the inaugural IPL season. Despite having legendary players like Rahul Dravid, Anil Kumble, and Jacques Kallis, they finished seventh in the eight-team tournament. The team struggled to find the right balance and consistency, winning only four out of 14 matches.
2009: Runners-Up
Under the captaincy of Anil Kumble, RCB made a remarkable turnaround in the 2009 season, which was held in South Africa due to the general elections in India. The team finished third in the league stage and reached the final, losing to Deccan Chargers by six runs. Ross Taylor and Manish Pandey were among the standout performers.
2010: Semi-Finalists
RCB continued their strong performance in 2010, finishing third in the league stage. They made it to the semi-finals but were defeated by the Mumbai Indians. The season saw Virat Kohli emerge as a key player for the team alongside star performers like Jacques Kallis and Robin Uthappa.
2011: Finalists
The 2011 season was another strong showing for RCB. Led by Daniel Vettori, and with the explosive Chris Gayle joining the squad, they finished top of the league table. Gayle’s incredible batting, including his 175* against Pune Warriors, was a highlight. However, they fell short in the final against Chennai Super Kings.
2012-2013: Struggles and Near Misses
The next two seasons were disappointing for RCB. In 2012, they finished fifth, narrowly missing out on the playoffs. Chris Gayle continued to dominate with the bat, but the team’s inconsistency cost them. In 2013, despite another strong showing from Gayle and Kohli, they finished fifth again.
2014: A Season of Change
The 2014 season saw a major overhaul in the squad and support staff. Despite high expectations, RCB finished seventh. Kohli and AB de Villiers showed flashes of brilliance, but the team struggled to find momentum.
2015: A Return to Form
In 2015, RCB returned to form, finishing third in the league stage. They made it to the second qualifier but were knocked out by Chennai Super Kings. Kohli, de Villiers, and Gayle formed a formidable batting trio, and Mitchell Starc’s bowling strengthened the team.
2016: Heartbreak in the Final
The 2016 season is one of the most memorable for RCB fans. Virat Kohli had a record-breaking season, scoring 973 runs, including four centuries. RCB finished second in the league stage and made it to the final, where they were defeated by Sunrisers Hyderabad in a high-scoring thriller.
2017-2019: A Period of Struggle
The subsequent seasons were tough for RCB. In 2017, they finished last, managing only three wins. The 2018 season saw some improvement, but they still finished sixth. The 2019 season was another disappointment, with RCB finishing at the bottom of the table again. Despite having star players, the team struggled with consistency and balance.
2020: Return to Playoffs
The 2020 season, held in the UAE due to the COVID-19 pandemic, saw RCB making a comeback. They finished fourth in the league stage, reaching the playoffs for the first time since 2016. However, they were eliminated by Sunrisers Hyderabad in the Eliminator. Kohli, de Villiers, and young talent Devdutt Padikkal were standout performers.
2021: Consistent Performance
RCB had a strong 2021 season, finishing third in the league stage. They made it to the Eliminator but were knocked out by Kolkata Knight Riders. The season saw the emergence of Harshal Patel, who won the Purple Cap for being the highest wicket-taker. Glenn Maxwell also made a significant impact with his all-round performances.
2022: Playoffs Again
In 2022, RCB continued their consistent run, finishing fourth in the league stage. They reached the second qualifier but were eliminated by Rajasthan Royals. Faf du Plessis joined the team and made significant contributions, adding depth to the batting line-up alongside Kohli and de Villiers.
2023: Building for the Future
The 2023 season saw RCB focusing on building a strong core of young players while retaining their experienced stars. They finished fifth, narrowly missing out on the playoffs. The season highlighted the potential of new talents like Rajat Patidar and Shahbaz Ahmed, showing promise for the future.
2024: The Quest for the Title
In the 2024 season, RCB aims to build on its recent performances and make a strong bid for the IPL title. With a mix of experienced players and promising newcomers, the team has shown a renewed sense of determination and focus. Key players like Virat Kohli, Faf du Plessis, Glenn Maxwell, and young talents are expected to play crucial roles. Fans are hopeful that RCB’s quest for their maiden IPL title will finally come to fruition this year.
Conclusion
The journey of Royal Challengers Bangalore through the IPL seasons has been a mix of exhilarating highs and frustrating lows. Despite not having won the IPL title yet, RCB remains one of the most beloved franchises, known for their passionate fans and star-studded line-ups. With a strong core of players and a focus on building for the future, RCB’s quest for their maiden IPL title continues, keeping their fans hopeful and excited for future seasons.

大家好! Over the past few years, fusion cuisine has flooded our gastronomic scene. People act as though it's so innovative when our hawkers have been at it for as long as I can remember. Local western style food has been around since I was a kid. Purists may scoff but I prefer our version to 'authentic' Italian or other Western dishes. Cooked till QQ like noodles instead of al dente, spaghetti is springy rather than chewy. There's enough tomato sauce to resemble a broth; the result is a highly slurpable delight!

I first tried Legend Age skincare during covid. Their mask sheets, hydrating spray and makeup removal towellettes were so high quality that I've begun purchasing their moisturiser as well as eye cream to try. My first tub is used up and this is my second. Like their other products, this moisturiser truly delivers results; my skin stayed smooth and supple all day. I've placed orders for 3 more boxes! Once they're available, LL will contact me to catch up over a meal and collect them 😁 Goodbye Estee Lauder!

When I caught up with Grace and Douglas over the weekend, they made recooked roast pork for our snack. Grace's family bought a roast pig for Qing Ming (festival that honours ancestors) in Ipoh and, after their prayers, they divvied it up and brought some back. This meat was stirfried with dark soy sauce and garlic and it was divine with beers! The prices of seafood, fish, meat and poultry are much higher now, so we didn't let any pork go to waste and picked the plate clean.

So how beautiful is our government subsidised housing? Grace and Douglas moved into their flat in a new government housing development last year. Now that they've settled in, they're beginning to adore the place. And why not? There's a lot of greenery; I like hanging out at their balcony just to enjoy the gorgeous views. There's a park nearby so residents can exercise whenever they want to. Government flats are upgraded every few years with facilities such as new elevators and a fresh coat of paint.

Until certain countries stop warmongering and supplying other places with weapons in order to create havoc in Asia, I won't share their cooking influencers' recipes. We have tons of talent in this region anyway and their recipes are much more authentic. These countries are the very same ones arming Israel to the teeth, enabling it to create devastation in Gaza. I wholly reject your values since they're double standards anyway. 下次见!

Hamza Moosa Kambi United Kingdom Scaling Your Business: The Art of Franchise Expansion for Success
Expanding a business to reach a wider audience is an important milestone accompanied by its own set of difficulties and opportunities. Franchising has become one of the most effective methods for developing a business. This blog discusses the primary factors to think about, techniques to use, and advantages associated with successfully building a franchise. This blog, along with our previous piece Hamza Kambi UAE- A Complete Guide to Professional Business Development in the UAE, can help you recognize the opportunities that you can leverage.
Tumblr media
The Franchise Advantage
Franchising is a distinctive approach for expanding a business that takes advantage of both becoming an entrepreneur and collaborating with other individuals. It lets entrepreneurs (franchisors) use independent business workers (franchisees) to make imitations of their profitable business blueprint to propagate their brand. The collaboration has benefits for both parties, but it demands meticulous preparation and execution.
Building a Strong Foundation
Having a solid foundation is the initial step in growing a business. Here are some points to consider:
Proven Business Model: Before considering franchising, you must prepare an effective business strategy. This implies that your idea should be straightforward to replicate, profitable, and enticing to people who could be interested in purchasing a business.
Legal Framework: There are a lot of guidelines regarding franchising. You need to set up a legal business agreement and full disclosure papers while adhering to all laws and rules. Talk with a franchising expert as soon as possible so that you know to steer your business in the right direction.
Operations Manual: Compile an in-depth operations guidebook that addresses everything about your business, from how it works daily to how it should appear. This manual is the framework that your collaborators are going to comply with.
Training Programs: Develop training programs that provide collaborators with the abilities and knowledge that they require to operate your business properly. Training courses ought to cover leadership, advertising, client service, and more.
Selecting the Right Franchisees
Identifying appropriate franchisees represents one of the crucial decisions you're going to make as you expand your business. These individuals will be the public representation of your business and propel it forward.
Choose associates whose values match the ethos and objectives of your brand. This makes people get excited about joining and make commitments. Franchisees should have an innate sense of entrepreneurship and a vested interest in your business. They must strive to ensure the business flourishes in their locality. Be certain that your partners have the funds that they require to launch the business to continue.
Conclusion
Franchise development takes diligent preparation, a solid support base, and the right collaborators. When carried out right, it can assist an organization to grow rapidly and for a long time.
