"I'm not a very good dancer." Not that it stopped Edythe from accepting Briar's hand and joining her. She did her best to sway to the rhythm, but it had been quite some time since the vampire last danced. Still, she was delighted that Briar wanted her to join in on the fun.

He was apathetic about the state of the lounge and was more focused on the mission at hand. While the seats were comfortable, Shota could find peace in any place that could be considered a seat. Hell, when at home Shota could even be found sleeping on the floor of his classroom. Sleeping in strange places could even be considered a special talent of his. He might have even fallen asleep that very moment if she hadn't spoken again.

Shota took a swallow at her question before he he leaned forward slightly, resting his elbows on both knees, as if the position would help him recall the words that he needed. His brow was knit in thought before he gave her a shake of shaggy black hair. "N-no tengo ci-ta," he tried to confirm.

"I don't need an appointment either or help in a physical sense. But I was told that if I was looking for some help, that this would be the place to go. I'm looking for someone specifically; a woman that goes by the name 'Inés'. "

Even with her hermit habits, she does know most of the people in her town. Even without the stranger's accent, she would have been able to tell he wasn't from around here (in her head, the western she was watching last night plays--annoying ass song is going to get stuck on repeat).

Shit, the kid looks rough (is he even younger than her? It's hard for her to tell). From travel or stress or some kind of weight-of-the-world problem, maybe. It's not really Xóchitl's business, but her maternal instincts kick in with her professional ones and she makes a note to hand him some vitamins before whatever business he has with her is through with.

The seats in the room aren't the most luxurious, but they are comfortable and worn down, so when he sits he'll probably sink a little. Like sitting on a whoopie cushion. The place has seen better days, but at least it's clean--barring maybe the little crumbs of food she's dusting off of herself.

"No appointment?" It's an assumption, despite the phrasing it as a question, based on how scruffy he looks. "How can I help you?
