Hiii. Preparing for a mass hatch during NOTN so I'm trying to get a jump on clearing out old g1s and projects I've lost interest in. I have 58 g1s all up for offers.
Dragons in the first pic are all tentatives (I'm taking offers on them but if they don't sell then I'll probably keep them)
Dragons in the other two pics are largely on exalt row and will be banished if they don't sell
Lair in replies, please feel free to make offers here or on fr! I need these beasts gone. Will take gems or treasure; also open to taking eggs as payment since this is all in service of an eventual mass hatch anyways.

pet peeve: someone in fr discord saying ‘if not sold will exalt tomorrow’ but pricing the thing at hundreds of g/kt. makes no sense
feels kinda guilt trippy imo.. one, if its exalt row you dont think its worth much, so why are you trying to fork out exorbitant prices for it. And if they did think it was worth that much, why would it be exalt row advertised in the first place?
If i advertised things that were exalt row id ask for pwyw anything above exalt payout. Like. expecting 15kt maybe fetching up to 40kt range if someone is Really Wanting It and Finds It Kinda Pretty But I Cant See It.
note im not saying fodder flippers are bad! I get trying to save fodder but like. Baiting with ‘buy or its exalted tomorrow, asking 300g’ no mention of haggling whatsoever makes No Sense to me..

Also as a reminder, I've got some dragons I'm looking to part with. a Few G1s, a handful of oldies and a dragon from one of my pairs with a particularly rare colorway. I'll toss a couple scries in this post for the G1s, but if you'd like to buy them you can message me either here, or on FR, I'm Ringleader #77673.
I'm only going to be particularly firm on pricing on Lethe, at 1kg, as she's nearly 8 years old with an art piece, everyone else I'll entertain damn near any offer above "leveled to 15 and exalted" since that's what I do with most of my rejects, and the bogsneak on this page is also likely to be more expensive as I MAY end up keeping her.
Row 2 contains some 'oldies' dragons, Specifically colvyr and Lethe who are approaching a decade apiece.
Without Further Ado, here's what we're working with for the G1s.
Lavender/Azure/Emerald, Christmas 2023 Birthdate.
Carrot/Green/Copper, Aether Release Date birthdate.
Navy/Tangerine/Ginger [Honestly just looks kinda neat as a 'cooling lava' type thing to me?]
Mist/Yellow/Cobalt [You guys remember sparkledogs. That's this.]
Iris/Peridot/Fern, Leap Day 2024 Birthday [genuinely a cute little fish or dinosaur thing as a dusthide!]
Feel free to dm me here, or on FR to discuss a purchase, they will likely be exalted by 5/1.

Listen I'm still half in half out of FR right now but is there something in the water where people are asking about dragons on exalt row listed for prices or that have prices you won't go lower for, and asking if you'd sell for like 1/4th of that minimum price just to relist them on the AH not 5 minutes later or is it just my messages both on and off site rn?

hi! i'm veryeel on flight rising, thought i'd advertise a bit on here. I really don't wanna have to exalt the 3rd one in the top row, she's Maize/Maize/Sanddollar :-) SALE TAB
Message me on here or FR if you wanna negotiate pricing for any of them! I can do normal 1kt:1g exchange rate. Also, I'm pretty flexible on pricing, I think some of them are quite pretty and just want them to go to good homes!

Does anybody else have this weird aversion to putting dragons in the hibden?
Like. I have so many dragons that exist only to sit and look pretty in my lair. I also have a lot of dragons, and my food stores are starting to run low. Now, it would make perfect sense for me to shove as many dragons as I can into my hibden since it's not like I'm doing anything with most of them anyway and I could really save on food points.
But, I just...can't. My hibden is for fandragons and dragons that are on exalt row. It's for dragons that don't really "fit" in my lair.
IDK, I've been playing FR since launch and I'm just so used to having all of my permadragons right there when I click on my lair. I've since embraced the lair tabs, but man, I don't like the idea of putting any permas in the hibden. It's like they're not really there, or that they're less important--even though the only person telling me that is myself.
Oh well, guess I better hit the coli for those sweet food points 'cause I sure as hell am gonna need them.

I don’t know which parents you want miraculous for (just the characters you like? Just the “good” parents? All of them indiscriminately?) but here are some ideas.
Monkey Anarka isn’t even a question, man. Villains can suck her banana because she’s here to cause as much chaos as humanly possible.
Something about Tiger Audrey just makes sense. She “exalted” Gabriel to the elite position he’s in now, and she’s all about that influence/clout/whichever dub you prefer.
Mouse Marlena. She has a husband who loses his temper over stupid stuff and four kids; rowdy, hyperactive af young twins who love to cause problems on purpose, a famous blogger teenage daughter who runs straight into danger every day, and a boxer adult daughter who has her dad’s temper and a tendency to start beef. Also she’s the head chef in a high end restaurant. Do you know how crazy that job is? She must be the CEO of multitasking.
Turtle Tom. Weredad shows just how protective he is.
Snake Sabine. Three alliterations in a row! I promise I’m not doing this on purpose. She’s mature, calm, and knows what’s up. She has the patience of a saint and the commitment to make sure she doesn’t stop resetting until she’s done everything she can to help.
I tried to come up with something different from her son for Claudie, but the horse is a really good fit for her. Both her current job and her aspiring career have to do with transportation.
Rabbit Tomoe. She’s serious, analytical, and organized, and she has that talent of giving enough damns to set things straight, but not so many that she sticks her nose where it doesn’t belong. She’s cool enough to handle the pressure of being the “last chance” holder, and she’d stop at nothing to achieve the timeline she sees as the “correct” one.
Dragon Jagged. I was going back and forth on this, but even though he’s far from perfection as a dad, he won’t accept anything less than the perfect representation of the image he’s going for in both his sound and his visuals. Now that I think about it, you could say perfectionism is what caused him to be a dead beat in the first place; he thought he wasn’t good enough, so he chose dipping out over being less-than-perfect. Also he’d love the superpower, and his suit design would be fire.
Goat Andre. Just- just hear me out. I don’t know what it does beyond whatever theories I have, but let’s come back to this one. Trust me.
Bee Otis because I think he’d benefit from a straightforward physical power that performs one simple action.
Don’t laugh- I think Alim should have the butterfly. Maybe the s1 crack theorists were fr onto something. His job would give him knowledge of art, history, and world culture, and his proper demeanor would make him much more careful and a better manager than incompetent Hawkmoth. He’d have the background to create well designed champions, especially the badass mythology-based ones we love so much. Alim would never let himself “lose” an akuma on a train or accidentally akumatize a baby.
Pig Roger. Haha get it? It’s funny. I think he’d benefit from the least violent miraculous, and he could channel his desire for order and control into simply making others comply by realizing what they want for themselves.
We don’t know what the rooster does, but I’m giving it to Fred. It makes sense to me, so we’ll get back to this.
Gabriel sucks at butterflying, so he gets the dog. He’s (overly) loyal to his dead wife, and he’s super resourceful (one of his only positive traits).
I’m not doing Mrs. Rossi because they literally used a background character model for her. We know nothing about her.
I think these are all the parents of the miraculous kids we have so far. I’d feel terrible if I forgot anyone. I was hesitant to give anyone the bug or cat because all the parents are more minor characters, and those two are so important.
That leaves the fox, peacock, and ox, the last of which I think a lot of them are actually going to fit with, but we know close to nothing about it. I don’t think anyone fits with the other two better than my matches, especially since the parents tend to be played off as silly adults, and those miraculous require really smart users.
Actually, scratch that. Amilie can have the fox because I feel like she’s hiding something under that silly, sweet personality.
I hope to see more parents in s5 because too many of these kids don’t have canon families yet!
Oh damn this is very in depth and very thought out thank you

G1s are a superior pixel. Fight me.
Hot take on the latest drama from a 200+ dragon lair that is 95% G1s: I just don't like offspring lists. Period. I breed nothing. My nests are barren wastelands of celibacy, and shall forever remain empty. The few G2+ dragons I have are also un-bred. Parentage is an instant detractor for me, and I would never buy a dragon that has been bred. I see my dragons as little individual art pieces, and G1s are blank canvases I can't resist. It's just personal preference. G1s spark joy for me. Some players grind coli, some run AH empires, meanwhile I play for the pretty pixels and absolutely no other reason. The scry workshop is honestly 99% of the reason I play FR. I've spent hundreds of hours scrying dragons. I can scry in my head, while driving to work, on the phone with a friend reading colors out to me. It's utterly ridiculous and I'm well aware, but I'm in a few years too deep to turn back now. I know what colors have what accents, on which genes, and know how to utilize the scry workshop to find exactly what I'm looking for. Some nights I'll spend two hours scrying anything interesting on the first fifty or sopages of G1s on the AH and for me, that's FR at it's most enjoyable. Total chill time, just clicking through pretty pixels, looking for one that screams cha-ching! Because of course, I flip some of them. Religiously and without mercy or remorse. I've made thousands of gems flipping fodder G1s simply because someone didn't scry, or didn't know how to scry, and I did. However, I will say there is no logic or reason to the G1 market outside of doubles and triples. It's total chaos, a free-for-all where the prize is pixel clout and the loss is having to stare at that pixel in someone else's lair for all eternity. And there is no greater suffering to a G1 collector than missing out on a dream dragon only to watch the player who had deeper pockets gene it all wrong. Which brings me around to those of you complaining about gened G1 resale value, and you're are missing the elephant in the room entirely. Very simply, I think your dragons are staggeringly ugly and excessively overpriced. Unfathomably so. Seriously, if I wanted to pay to suffer I'd just exalt the dragon center stage on the top row of my front page, thank you very much. That alloy you spent 1200g on? Useless to me, it should be noxide because the color of the tiny little wing accents matches the tert if you make it capsule instead of glimmer. How could you not have seen this? And that's actually not an insult, but an example. Everyone's tastes are different, and so what appeals to one player may not appeal to another. The G1 market is based primarily upon subjectivity outside of the more stable waters of doubles and triples. When you list a gened G1 for sale you are baking on the fact that someone out there in the wide FR universe shares your specific tastes and has a willingness to spend a lot of gems. It's risky business. Most of the time when I look at a gened G1 for sale on the AH, I'm thinking, but why tho? To someone, that scry was THE one. Perfection. To me, it's a train wreck and I can't stop staring...but not in a good way. Ya feel me? And yea, okay, I have a few questionable decisions hidden away on page three of my lair, but I'm not the one putting them on the AH and going all surprised pikachu face when no one buys my quirky petals crackle love child. (It's kinda ugly, I get it.) Just because you slapped some fancy gem genes on dragon all 'yee-haww,' doesn't mean it's worth anything. That's not how the market operates, and definitely not how it should operate. The punishment for ugly pixel mistakes is economic despair. I don't know what else to tell you. Now things change if that pixel dragon is truly the bees knees and not the mistake you selling it says it is, but that's a whole different ballgame. "I loved him. He has lore. He has art! His name is Imber, it means rain shower in Latin." Yea, yea, bla bla bla, but you're selling ImBeR because even you can't fix ugly. Accept it. We've all been there. We've all gened ugly
dragons. We've all woken up in the morning, rolled over, and went not starmap again. Sell it for the 800g it's worth on a good day, and be thankful the sucker sold in under two months. Lesson learned, rinse and repeat until you have a lair that makes the happy chemicals when you look at it. Not everyone will like your dragons, but you like your dragons and that's all that matters. Whatever your pixel poison, be it G1s, G2s, hatchery pairs, oldies, or even the whole 'Glitch Queen' MLM scheme, all that matters is that you enjoy playing the game. Who cares what someone else thinks of your lair? Who. Cares. But seriously guys, why breed it when you can gene it?

30 Day Worldbuilding Challenge #9: Cosmology
What is the Cosmology of your world?
This is one that I’m quite excited to talk about! This will be a long post, so I’ll put a break in to make it less overwhelming on your dash.
First off, I will say that I really don’t like the Forgotten Realms’ alignment-centric model. This is important, because when I first started DMing games in Groppa I actually used this cosmology. Here it is, for reference:
[Image ID: The Great Wheel of the Forgotten Realms. It is a golden disc with many cocentric circles spinning within. Each circle is a different plane, with the Material Plane in the middle. End ID.]
I don’t like this model because 1. there are too many planes and 2. it doesn’t tell me anything interesting about the world and its conflicts. That’s fine because FR is meant to be a generic world for everyone to play with, but it does not suit me. Plus, most of these planes are kind of redundant. Do I really need Hades (the plane of infinite gloom) AND the Shadowfell (the plane of infinite gloom)? A lot of the Lower Planes could just be layers of the Abyss IMO. If you’re going for an alignment thing, do we really need planes for the in-betweens of alignment? Do we need a Lawful Evil, Lawful Evilish, and Lawfulish Evil plane? I say no, we don’t. All this complication is facilitating a very boring Good vs Evil struggle that I don’t care for.
So, without further ado, here is my cosmology (I’m not going to say it’s better, just that it suits me more). It is split into two parts, each of which being a different “view” of the same cosmos. We’ll start with the mortal-centric view, the one that puts the Waking World in the centre:
Part 1: The Wheel of Dreamers
[Image ID: A multicoloured wheel hanging in space. The outer ring goes from green, to blue, to orange, to red, with the words “Plane of Air”, “Plane of Water”, “Plane of Earth” and “Plane of Fire”. Then there is a yellow ring labelled “Limbo” and within that is a green and black yin-yang shape. The green part is labelled “Feywild” and the black “Shadowfell”. Between those two are icons of the sun and two moons. In the middle of all of that is an icon that looks like a green and blue planet. End ID.]
This part is not terribly different to the Forgotten Realms version, aside from the fact that Limbo is now an elemental plane. To sum it up briefly, the point of this cosmology is that the dreams, thoughts, and emotions of mortals (dreamers) is what creates the rest of the wheel. Emotions and dreams create the Feywild and Shadowfell, both planes that mirror the Waking World in the middle but with a higher emphasis on abstractions like mood, tone, and myth. If you have a home in the Waking World, it is sure to be a building packed with memories and associations for you - some good, some bad. But in the Feywild, all your most explosive and hard-hitting memories will be represented literally; for example, that time you had a great birthday party at home will be represented by a family of sprites who spend all their time feasting on a windowsill. Equally, that time you had a flaming row with your spouse will be represented by a burning tree that never goes out. Meanwhile, in the Shadowfell all your cooler associations come to life. All the hours you spent quietly reading or drawing will be represented by ghostly spirits who act out those quiet activities, and every moment of boredom or misery you felt there will echo through the warped hallways as an audible song.
To sum up, the Feywild takes all the big emotions and makes them literal, and the Shadowfell takes all the long emotions and makes them literal. The thing they have in common is that they’re for processing complex, abstract feelings. This is totally unlike the Elemental Planes. After the soul-stuff that the dreams that made the Shadowfell and Feywild have been processed, they move through Limbo were they are further broken down into something formless and impersonal. Then they are sorted into raw components: Air, Water, Earth, and Fire. These are the building blocks of the multiverse, and exactly what the gods need to continue with their grand project.
That is the purpose of the Wheel. The gods themselves get soul-stuff energy directly from their followers, but that alone is not enough. The Wheel spins and generates more energy for them to use in concert with each other. A god can just about live off the prayers and devotion of their followers, but to keep the multiverse intact they need far more. This brings us to the god-centric view of the multiverse: The Axle upon which the Wheel spins.
Part 2: The Axle of the Gods
[IMAGE ID: A side view of the previous image, with the Wheel of Dreamers represented by a thin line in the middle. Above and below are two iscolose triangles, each with their short edge parallel to the line in the middle. The top triangle is grey, pointing up, and labelled “Mechanus”. The bottom triangle is red, pointing down, and labelled “Hell”. Hell is pointing at another thin line that is barely wider than it is, labelled “Hades”. Below that is a black vortex labelled “The Abyss”. In the background is a purple nebula labelled “The Astral Sea”. End ID.]
The Astral Sea is the home of most gods. Every star you see is its own little world, with gods and other celestial beings living there in eternal luxury. There are plenty of mortals there too, many of whom are essentially either planar travellers (read: pirates) or the exalted followers of the gods. I left the Astral Sea vague because it allows me to come up with any wacky idea for a plane I like and just have it be one of the many realms of the Astral Sea.
Above the Wheel of Dreamers is Mechanus, (pronounced meck-ah-nuss, not meck-ay-nuss) the home of Primus the god of balance. They used to be a fairly minor god until the Abyss showed up, at which point they were forced to reorganise existence into fighting against it. They placed Mechanus in its current position to oversee reality. Then, they moulded Hell out of the broken planes that had been ravaged by the demons thus far. Placing the disgraced angel Asmodeus in charge of building an infernal army to fight the Abyss, finally Primus contracted Hades and Dread Persephone to position the plane of Hades as the battleground for the war between devils and demons. Thus reality was safeguarded against demonic incursion. The Blood War, as it came to be known, would rage forever. No matter how hard Asmodeus tried to win, Hades and Persephone would subtly alter the course of the war to keep him on the back foot. It’s a dangerous game they’re playing. Go too far in sabotaging Asmodeus and the demons will overrun reality. Let Asmodeus’ tactical brilliance be rewarded and he might conquer the Abyss, thus gaining its infinite power (power enough to overthrow the gods).
Conclusion
So yeah, it’s not terribly different to the Forgotten Realms’ cosmology. The reason I changed it was two-fold: one, I wanted to make it not all about alignment. Two, I wanted to put the Blood War in as the central conflict of the multiverse. I like the idea of Asmodeus being an ambiguous figure who is both genuinely trying to make up for his past mistakes but is also rightfully angry at his mistreatment by the callous gods. I wanted the struggle between the Abyss and the rest of reality to not be about Good vs Evil but more about this specific “family” of gods trying to defend themselves. I took a lot of inspiration from Greek myth, as you might guess by Hades’ importance to the cosmology. I’m really into the idea of running more “planar” games where you get to go really wild with the environments you can use; central to that goal was creating a cosmology that I could vibe with.
