This is a lot of Conquest Battles in a row, and it looks like theres quite a few conquest battles planned for November as well.

Anyone wanting to find homes for their dragons, might want to keep them off the Auction House this month. Any dragon on the Ah is viable to be exalted in a heated dominance battle, regardless of price. Fodder prices might also get pretty high, do to the sheer number of conquest battles this month.

Fandom: Dragon Age, though it really doesn't matter for this snippet. Word Count: 601

Eilan is on a stage. A cast of actors stands behind her, applauding. The theater’s house lights are on. The audience is on their feet clapping and whooping. Lex, her love, is loudest. He stands in the front row, whistling, two fingers pressing down on his lip. Eilan waves at the packed theater, one hand clapped over her mouth as she is overcome. Oh, maybe she is holding flowers? Flowers appear nestled in the crook of her arm. From Lex or the cast? Roses or something else? She started over. Heavy red velvet curtains fall on the stage. The house lights come on. The gilding in the ornate walls shine. The patterned carpet muffles the celebratory stamping of feet. Eilan is in a theater fit for Val Royeaux. Oh! And this is the first play penned by an elf to be performed on a premiere Orlesian stage. Was that true? Had no elf ever written a play for an Orlesian stage? She would look it up later, much later. The clan had a hard time sourcing books. Imagine if the Dalish had a library? Any-who.

Eilan stands in the first row before the seat reserved for the writer. Lex is standing beside her. They both clap. The curtains draw open to reveal the full cast holding hands in a line. They bow and applaud each other and bow some more. The lead actor then gestures towards Eilan. The house lights come on. Eilan walks up the stage wing’s stairs to join the cast. The audience erupts into raucous applause. Lex presses his pinkies to his lips and whistles. She waves at the crowd, demurely overcome, so humble, so grateful. With a sweep of her hand she directs the audience’s applause towards the orchestra pit — wait, no. How will Lex give her flowers if the orchestra pit is in the way? She backtracked a little. Eilan is on the stage, waving, tears in her eyes. Lex walks up to the stage’s apron with bouquet in his hands — where had he hid it this whole time? Perhaps over the course of Eilan’s staging of the play Lex had gotten to know some of the theater’s staff? A small edit, then: before opening night Lex had colluded with the stage manager to hide flowers somewhere in the theater to be given to Lex when Eilan took her bow so that he could then present them to her. The honor fell to him, not the cast, because, well, perhaps by then she could be his wife? Eilan flushed at the thought. Dared she dream it? Oh, he won’t know. Alright, so. Eilan is on the stage, waving, crying, etc, etc. The stage manager discreetly hands Lex the bouquet. He walks up to the apron and reaches up to Eilan to present the bouquet of… white roses and gardenias? Yes. And Eilan is definitely his wife. (Eeee!) She kneels down on the stage and kisses her husband (Eeee!) before the eyes of the adoring public. Eilan’s heart fluttered. “Babe!” Lex burst into Eilan’s tent. She startled out of her daydream, sitting bolt upright in her cot. Her eyes went wide. A book slid off her chest onto the ground. She was back at Clan Lavellan’s camp, near Kirkwall, far from any Orlesian stages. He grinned at her jumpiness. “Napping?” “No no.” She stifled a yawn with her knuckles. “I was reading.” “Riiiight.” He planted a hand on either side of her on the cot. “I read with my eyes closed, too.” He kissed her hello. “You ready to go, miss sleepy babe? I got big plans for us today.”

somewhat maybe! I did get a few dragons from the "ugly dragon swap" thread, though they were most definitely called lovingly ugly b/c they were bred by a plague zombie enthusiast. But I was absolutely grateful to get them b/c for sure not everyone likes these guys! Especially when crackle and gembond are relatively unpopular genes

The Skydancer I'm considering making a permababy because I'm frequently unhappy trying to dress her and her hatchling pose shows off her cute faceted eyes

Otherwise like I've gotten dragons that weren't explicitly being called ugly but I yanked straight off fodder floor and we're headed to exalt row, so y'know, one could assume the user didn't consider them the best looking! like these two of my permas:

and it's like with the bogsneak I can see yeah I can understand why that'd be dumped, those weird colors and genes aren't for everyone, the obelisk though I was like, dang really?? she's not a stunning double/triple or anything but surely she's not hideous fodder!

funny enough the bog I changed 2 genes because I found a skin I wanted her to wear, as much as I like the swamp water looking capsule. but just look at her now, living a happy life c:

thinking about crackle and gembond again actually, another gene I really like that isn't popular is smirch (which is also dirt cheap so more for me I guess lol)

I grabbed this girl of fodder floor, breed changed her to a noc for a skin I had in mind but ultimately got SO overly picky about the eye color I ended up using her for a breeding project renting lightning nests so I could have a noc with more matchy eyes. cause I'm extra like that (almost considering changing her back into a guardian now that I have the nocturne I want for the skin sjkfhdksgks)

Some of the dragons I have in ah right now and their cool selling points:

- the aberration is 2gen and would look great in the cottagecore scene

- the orange undertides look amazing with rare eyes bc it makes their eyes black and beady like shrimp eyes (they do not currently have the rare eyes but it's a possibility!)

- most of them are reasonably priced between 25g to 75g, I do take treasure and mixed payment 1:1000

- the pastel aether is 400g (I am ok with haggling) and the soap pc is 100g and heading to exalt row in 2 days (last change so I am ok with haggling for this one too) aaand the spool/thread aether is 150g

Also as a reminder, I've got some dragons I'm looking to part with. a Few G1s, a handful of oldies and a dragon from one of my pairs with a particularly rare colorway. I'm only going to be particularly firm on pricing on Lethe, at 1kg, as she's nearly 8 years old with an art piece, everyone else I'll entertain damn near any offer above "leveled to 15 and exalted" since that's what I do with most of my rejects, and the bogsneak on this page is also likely to be more expensive as I MAY end up keeping her.

Row 2 contains some 'oldies' dragons, Specifically colvyr and Lethe who are approaching a decade apiece.

Hi Flight Rising. I just wanted to update a previous psa I had made.

Currently, Plague is having a (uncontested) conquest fight for their Festival.

Next week, Nature will be having a conquest fight because its Riot of Rot.

Thanks to the big dom battle earlier this month, fodder prices are higher then usual, but not as outrageously high as they once where. They'll probably stay around this price until November.

Its a good idea to double check prices when selling fodder, and to be careful of dragons that you're hoping find permanent homes.

November also has some (currently) uncontested conquest pushes, and some profit pushes, but there is a larger event in the works. Earth is attempting Double Dominance!

For newer players, what that that means is that they'll try to get dominance for two weeks in a row. While the second week is uncontested because of their festival, Earth still need to exalt extra dragons due to dominance fatigue. I expect fodder prices might rise during those two weeks, just because of all the dragons Earth will be exalting. It's hard to say, but it is worth keeping that in mind.
