Today in 1977: the original Marvel Star Wars comic introduced two of my favorite "Legends" characters, Jaxxon and Amaiza Foxtrain. First appearing in Star Wars #8, these two bounty hunters didn't make many further appearances, and Jaxxon in particular is often the subject of ridicule among fans. But for me Star Wars should be as weird and biodiverse and fantastical as possible. Much like Plif, these two are canon in my heart.
