Before Maeve was a Grand Prix show jumper, she got her start with cobs. As a teenager, she owned Eunique Foxrock Round, or "Foxy", a sweet buckskin mare. Foxy and Maeve were staples on the local circuits, dabbling in all sorts of disciplines together.

Maeve and her dear friend Mallory West (@sycstud) were taking a walk down memory lane and uncovered this photo from Maeve's younger days with the much beloved Foxy.

Gotta say, I love the tendency for Milt fan-designs to give him a bowler hat/similar hat-wear.

Funnily enough, I DID imagine Milt wearing a similar hat when I pictured him. If you're curious where I got the idea, it's partly based on Crown's outfit (he wears a fedora + suit like a classic 50's salesman) and I've obviously pictured how the two would look standing together quite a lot, heh.

The choice for a bowler hat too is really smart, and honestly, I think I'd have actually gone for the same. If you're curious why: I've always loved the Samuel Beckett play Waiting for Godot, a play about two men waiting around in a timeless space, seemingly unable to remember much about themselves or exactly what they're doing there. While virtually nothing of use is revealed about the main characters due to their own lack of memory (a trope I use in DT with Gingi), one thing that Beckett DID agree with is that the men should be wearing tattered suits... with bowler hats, as was the fashion in Foxrock, Dublin where he grew up.

Just a small thing but I thought it was neat. There's a few other things that I've seen in fan designs that are eerily close to concepts I've pitched to my collaborators for future DT media, which makes me very happy. Shows I'm lucky enough to have a fandom that's basically on the same wavelength as me and gets my ridiculous creative process to some degree :)

rock/flying type pokemon named Fendation. its pre evolution is called Foxrock. it evolves at level 30+ during the day, and it cannot be raining

its a fennec fox with really big ears it uses to fly. its pre-evolution is just a pure rock type smol fennec fox with little nub ears that resemble rocks, and when it evolves they get massive. its tail is a chain of rocks and its whole body is dusty and looks like sand

‼️spoilers for eps 13‼️ but seriously nobody touch me rn I am so completely normal about how Peter and Rumi were both paralleling each other's battles, both fighting tooth and nail for the other out of pure love. both fighting these powerful higher beings all by themselves and winning because god doesn't love make you do crazy shit, make you more powerful. and they both wanted to seem so cool in front of the other afterwards but ended up just breaking down because the though of loosing each other permanently was terrifying. Rumi letting down some of his barriers to Peter and Peter being accepting of it all. I love them. I love them so so much.

FoxRock Acquires Fall River Manufacturing Facility

FALL RIVER, MA– FoxRock, a South Shore-based commercial real estate investment and development company, has added to its growing portfolio another large industrial acquisition.

The company, which recently announced major projects in Mansfield and Weymouth, has now closed on the acquisition of a 164,487 square-foot property in Fall River.

The property at 848 Airport Road has been a manufacturing headquarters location for several companies. New England Ropes occupied the building for years before being acquired in 2009 by the current tenant, Teufelberger. 

Teufelberger, a $300 million+ multinational rope manufacturer, has been family owned and operated since the 1700’s. Best known for its variety of high-quality engineered rope products created for the military and marine trades, the company has an agreement to lease the entire property through 2025.

“We believe in the future of American manufacturing,” said Mark Carroll, Managing Director at FoxRock, “And we are excited to welcome the historic and globally-known Teufelberger to the FoxRock family.” 

“We are eager to begin our relationship with this well-respected specialty manufacturing company that is such a key driver of economic opportunity for the Southeastern Massachusetts region,” says Bryan Giudicelli, FoxRock Director of Business Development. “As FoxRock continues to expand throughout Massachusetts, we remain committed to the thoughtful, community-focused approach that distinguishes our company.” 

With this most recent acquisition, FoxRock’s portfolio now encompasses more than 4 million square feet of real estate across asset classes. FoxRock is also actively participating in the rapid revitalization of Quincy Center, where it has several significant projects in the development pipeline.
