As soon as we booked a slot in the rain room I KNEW I wanted to recreate part of the fight scene from Chapter 2!

This scene has remained a super memorable one to me, I think it really sets the tone for the rest of the first book. The industrial vibes of Drearburh vs the magic of Necromancy, I just love a genre meld so much (though lesbian enemy tension may have something to do with my love of this scene too lmaO)

She’s one of my favourite Locked Tomb characters that I only fully came to appreciate on my second read through - I would be much less sane than she was if I was the only woman left from a 10,000 year old science project gone wrong gone religious

Griddlehark Rainshoot Part 1

One idiot with a sword and an asymmetrical smile had proved to be Harrow’s end: her apocalypse swifter than the death of the Emperor, and the sun with him.
