Today I got my first headstand since the operation. Day 33 - A couple more huge milestones today at the gym... Single-leg press with a whopping 10lbs, single-leg Romanian deadlift sans weights, hit level 3 on recumbent bike for 20 mins at a solid pace, and 5 mins upright bike at reasonable pace. Definitely a lil stiff after, but with some ice and rest it feels super good. 12 weeks - Leg and knee feeling strong as I'm pushing almost same weight as pre-op and doing 30 min cardio on the elliptical machine, but today I accomplished some balance and plyometric excercises. Day 53 - Woke up this morning to some fresh snow and sunshine from my Dads apartment in Burlington, Ontario where he is back now after successful operations last Friday. Then hit the gym in the building for some physio on my knee which is coming along as well as I could hope so far. Day 47 - Woke up this morning to a ton of snow and still dumping. Day 23 - The end of another year, but the beginning of a New Year with a new ACL... rehab is coming along amazingly, so stoked! Able to go up stairs without assistance, started wall squats, keep legs up while doing obliques, getting faster on bike, and scars almost healed enough to hit the pool. Day 20 - Tomorrow be 3 weeks since the op and its been feeling real good, so seemed it was time to hit the gym. Day 7 - Stoked how things are coming along! I left the one bandage on while doing my rehab excercises as I knew once I took it off it would bleed. The scab was well stuck to the bandage, so every movement it felt like someone was running a razor blade across my upper shin.
