All the conversations were about self-expression and Community Building. But in poetic timing, every time I come together with other young, beautiful, smart and talented black people -- the conversations are ALWAYS about self-expression and community-building (Always!...since the beginning of my social butterfly status....And that's a long time) Dont get it confused, every generation, we always want to change the game. However this time it was much different... People are ready to mobilize and walk the talk! Because #NipseyHussle made it possible to literally see a light at the end of a very dark vortex 🔥💪🏾This is what Nipsey Hussle represents and this is what he's done for us -- He became a #martyr, sacrificing his life so we can continue to great! (Symbolism) Yes, it is true to be a negro in America and to be relatively conscious is to be in a constant state of Rage (cc. #JamesBaldwin) however, knowing that and knowing the power you harness is enough to travel through this sadistic Forrest of society.
