first, let me say that he looked SO familiar and i couldn't place him until i googled and realized that he played captain cristóbal 'cris' rios in star trek: picard.

alright, now that that's out of the way --

remember in the first beetlejuice movie how IIRC otho makes a reference about how people who commit suicide become civil servants in the afterlife?

and then miss argentina says something like, "if i knew then what i know now, i wouldn't have had my little accident," and then shows off her slit wrists.

why was richard working as a civil servant in the passport office? did he kill himself? did lydia suspect that's why she couldn't see him, but she didn't want to tell astrid?

or is it just some big plot hole?

oh, and one more random thought --

didn't love the baby beetlejuice scenes. reminded me too much of dead baby dawn from trainspotting.

A sketch dump for The Vicar of Dibley :) I've been meaning to watch it for years ever since I saw Richard Armitage was in it and I recently was able to. It was so cute and funny! It also has a young Peter Capaldi (accompanied by a heavenly choir) in the first season! The characters are very lovable, and there are so many great moments like Frank coming out on the radio and Sean Bean's cameo. It was so much fun drawing these characters in various styles :)
