New event with the focus on Forsaken Murderer got me thinking about things, under cut bc it’s slightly long

If we assume that the backstory given was real and he wasn’t just yoinked from the Well TM, then how many people did he have to kill in order to be on death row? Considering murder is a pretty common thing in the City, why would he be prosecuted for it?

I think it’s not a question of “how many” but “who”

We know from Rodya that members of the Middle Finger won’t hesitate to resort to violence if a family member is killed, slaughtering a whole ass neighborhood for the sins of one. It’s possible that he had killed a family member or two in his rampage, leading to the Middle taking action. The difference with Rodya’s situation and here is that, I believe they only slaughtered the entire neighborhood because they didn’t know who killed the pawn breaker, so they just went “fuck it, we ball.”

As FM was awaiting his execution, the still-developing Lobcorp in the Outskirts somehow obtains him, under the guise of using him for creating a cure for an unspecified illness. I say it was before L-corp became a wing because, in the description for his EGO, it mentions that Carmen had endorsed the experiments.

I imagine that they were experimenting on using cogito on him, again, under the guise of trying to cure an illness. Of course, then all the other shit happened, and boom, they made him worse.

Even without all the extra speculation I did, I find it interesting (but not too surprising tbh) that Meursault was the one to receive this EGO. What are your secrets…French man…

The City: A Project Moon TTRPG Guidebook Progress Report

Greetings, PM fans! I am currently doing a complete guidebook for my TTRPG in hopes to make it easier to understand (and also balance a couple things) because HOOO boy I missed a lot... For everyone who's been wanting to get into this TTRPG, here's how far I am on the brand new guidebook: Chapter 1: Character Creation (DONE) Chapter 2: Lobotomy Corporation and the Player's Job (DONE) Chapter 3: Abnormalities (IN PROGRESS) Chapter 4: Combat & E.G.O. (IN PROGRESS) Chapter 5: Campaign Tips (NOT YET WORKED ON) And then, after all of that is done, I gotta tweak it all to make it look nice. But, for now, that's all I got for you.
