Sweet Love (+18)
Summary: You're an up-and-coming writer, congratulations. To protect your beloved job, you're willing to do anything. Even strike a deal with the devil, better known as your sister's neighbor. You and Dean Winchester don't really see eye to eye, but in a moment of desperation, you agree to collaborate with him for a greater good.
Author's Notes: Many characters do not belong to me but to the Supernatural Universe (2005-2020). I hope you enjoy the fanfic's story. The fanfic will contain strong language and adult content. This chapter has adult content. Minors should not interact with this chapter.
chapter three chapter five
CHAPTER FOUR
Your writing has improved a lot. Your characters are getting more and more fiery. Dean has been showing up every night when Sam falls asleep. Between caresses and erotic lessons, you are progressing. But this hiding thing, and the fact that you haven't had sex with him yet, is driving you crazy. Mainly because you didn't want to feel like sleeping with him.
"We'll have to be faster today. Sam is suspicious of both of us." Dean says as soon as he enters your sister's apartment.
"Are you so afraid of what Sam will think if he finds out that you and I are..." You start to speak but are interrupted by Dean's lips, which touch yours forming a kiss. A long kiss, even, but soft. Without the desperation of lust or the rush due to lack of time.
"That you and I have an agreement that allows me to kiss you without thinking too much about the feelings involved? Yes, I'm afraid. I like things the way they are." Dean completes what you were saying. You look at it and feel like there's something wrong with Dean.
"What are you hiding from me?" You question looking Dean in the eyes. He smiles slightly as if you had discovered a secret of his.
"Castiel got in touch. Apparently he wants me to go to his wedding. With a man I don't even know." Dean looks uncomfortable. You don't really know what to say to him.
"And do you intend to go?" You ask, letting your curiosity speak stronger.
"What do you think?" Dean asks and you notice that he doesn't want to answer so he's trying to get you to take responsibility for translating his feelings.
"I think you're scared. Your great love is about to marry someone else. And you're scared because you still must have feelings for him." You respond by gently stroking Dean's head as if to give him some comfort.
"That's not why I came here." Dean says coming towards him, kissing you. That's when his hands hold your waist and place you on the kitchen counter.
"Are you sure you want to do this? Today?" You say breaking the kiss. Obviously Winchester has a goal. But is he using you to forget Castiel?
"I thought that's what we're here for. Or do you prefer to talk about feelings?" Dean is definitely bothered. Despite his response, you are still very close to each other physically.
"Dean, avoiding talking about something doesn't make it go away. But if you want to have sex to forget your ex, you should look elsewhere." You say, moving Dean's body away from you. He looks regretful and then his gaze rests on you.
"Yes, I am upset. It's stupid to want to pretend that I don't care but it's also stupid to focus on the subject. I would like to enjoy this moment with you. Is there something wrong with that?" Dean says, approaching you and lightly holding your thighs. You look at him seriously.
"Nothing's wrong with that." You say, still a little sullen, and then you feel Dean kiss your neck. His kisses make a trail to your lips. When your lips touch, you feel like deepening the kiss. Your hands start taking off his clothes. He almost hikes up your skirt to remove your panties with his fingers. His fingers lightly press your pussy, which makes you mutter some bad words. And then he slides your panties away from your body. Without saying a word to each other, you and him continue kissing. His fingers lightly touching the entrance to your pussy, which by the way is wet.
"Are you going to regret this?" Dean asks as he grabs your waist and pulls you closer to him. You then cross your legs even tighter around his waist and position him at the entrance to your pussy.
"Not for a second." You respond by moving your body to help Dean enter you. You need it. Now.
"Kitten." Dean says pointing down and you notice he's pointing at the condom in his hand. You shake your head, understanding that you need a little patience and watch him put the condom on his cock. A few seconds later Dean was practically buried inside you. So deep and strong that you couldn't control your moans. You scratch his chest as he kisses every part of you he can. You feel your ass slip more and more as the movements increase. Dean seems to want to help you with your balance so he practically picks you up so you can just focus on what you two are doing. You then kiss Dean as your bodies try to get in tune. But you two are a mess. A delicious mess. But a mess. After about three more thrusts, Dean began to stimulate your pussy to help you cum. He was then thrusting into you and massaging your pussy with his fingers. A few minutes later you and him came practically together. You almost melted into Winchester's arms.
"I think I can finish the book now." You whisper close to Dean's ear and he kisses you.
"It's always good to be useful." He speaks and you laugh. Then you kiss one last time. Then Dean quickly left your sister's apartment so he could go to his apartment without Sam noticing. And you decide to take a quick shower and then sleep. While your mind can't believe you actually fucked Dean Winchester.

𝒩𝑜𝓌 𝑜𝓇 𝒩𝑒𝓋𝑒𝓇
Jensen Ackles x female reader
𝐬𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐲: You've had a rough three months to say the least. You had a rough breakup, you nearly lost your job, you lost your best friend, and it was like everything was falling apart before one Twitter message changes everything. Now that three months have passed, Jensen decided to come and check on you in your apartment. He had been so busy filming for the first episodes of the upcoming Supernatural season. But he wanted to take the time to see how you're adjusting to this change of pace.
𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠: friends to lovers, initially platonic Jensen, fluff, Jensen being comforting, makeout session, implied smut but no graphic detail. Happy ending.
You were sitting on the couch in your apartment reading a book. It was raining and grey outside, which kind of ruined your plans to go out to the mall on your Saturday. Then again you could never complain about a cozy day in doors to read a good book.
Especially when you needed to get your mind off your breakup.
Your breakup happened about three months ago. You really liked this guy and you could have said you loved him. But that was before you found out that he was cheating on you with your former best friend. Not only was it seven years of friendship with this girl down the drain, but you wasted a year and a half dating a guy that you hoped you would have a future with.
The breakup was messy and heart breaking. You remembered seeing the messages on your boyfriends phone. At first you thought it was just some kind of sick prank. Then you went to your best friend's house and saw them on the couch in the middle of-
Well the point is your heart, and trust, was broken that day. As soon as you walked through those doors, they didn't even stop what they were doing. After that, you slammed the door shut and drove off. Your best friend called you afterward and you two got into a huge fight, then your boyfriend dropped by and you two broke up messily. There was no chance of you two getting back together.
Anyway, when the breakup was over, you didn't know where to go. Not until you got a private message on Twitter from an old high school friend of yours. A guy that you were close to before he started his acting career, beginning as the handsome Eric Brady in Days of Our Lives.
Jensen Ackles.
You remember meeting Jensen for the first time in your theater class and you used to be inseparable in that class. He was there for you when your first boyfriend dumped you for the Prom Queen. Maybe you just had the worst luck with guys.
Jensen made up for it by inviting you to his house, where you made a fort and watched movies until the sun rose the next morning.
You didn't expect to get a message from Twitter because you had assumed he had forgotten all about you. After all, it had been so many years and now he was on some show called Supernatural. The last time you watched him act in anything was in the show Dark Angel.
In essence, the message started as simply as ever. Jensen said that he saw your profile pop up under his recommended follows and he wanted to catch up with you over coffee.
And that was exactly what the two of you did. He was in town for a Supernatural convention and you two decided to meet at a coffee shop close by the hotel he was staying at.
At the cafe, you discussed what things have been like for him these past several years with the different shows he's been involved with and even some movies. You knew that he would become something great, that he was practically born to be an actor and you were happy for him.
You discussed how things weren't exactly so glamorous for you but you didn't exactly go into detail since you didn't want to spoil the mood. You simply said that your job was laying off people and you feared you would be next, your boyfriend cheated on you with your former friend but you spared him details of how messy everything was. Then you revealed that you were kind of at a loss, not totally sure what you should do and you've actually thought about moving away for a change of pace and start brand new.
Jensen encouraged the idea of you starting fresh after something like that. In fact, he knew of a place where you could go. He even knew of a place or two that was even hiring and needed someone of your occupation.
That brings you to your current situation. You've moved out of state and into an apartment that Jensen helped you move into and because of his letter of recommendation for a new job and a good reputation with your previous employer, you were able to get a good job. The pay was even better where you were now as well.
You were more than grateful that Jensen found you on Twitter. Grateful that he helped you find some place to go and start a new life, start fresh with a clean slate. You couldn't believe how much he had helped you.
The sudden crack of lightning broke you from reminiscing over what's happened over the past three months. You realized that you had been mindlessly flipping through the pages of the book you were supposed to be reading and you sighed when you realized that you had to reread the chapter all over again.
As you started to flip the pages back to the beginning of the chapter, you heard a knock on your door. You looked into the direction of the door and you wondered who would be there right now but the all too familiar voice made you grin.
"Delivery for a Y/N L/N!" The voice called and you chuckled before closing your book and setting it down on the coffee table before hopping to your feet and you opened the door.
When the door was opened you saw the short-haired, green-eyed actor. He was holding a plastic bag of takeout and some drinks. The light in the hall made it to where his freckles were showing a little mor prominently than usual.
"Hey! I didn't expect you to come by. Come on in! Make yourself at home." You said and you moved out of the doorway so he could come into the apartment. Then you shut the door behind him.
"I just wanted to stop by and check on you. Plus, I remembered you had a tendency to order takeout on rainy days so I figured you wouldn't be doing much. Jared's little party to kick off the next season for Supernatural got cancelled because of the coming storm." Jensen spoke.
You smiled to yourself. How on earth did he remember a little detail like that?
"Yeah, I still have that tendency. Just didn't get to the ordering takeout part yet. Just been reading." You admitted as you sat next to Jensen.
"I'm glad you were able to come and visit me for a while." You said and you saw a grin appear on his face. The same grin that made your heart throb when you were a teenager. Back when you had the slightest bit of feelings for him before he started his career.
"I wouldn't miss a chance like this. Especially since we've missed out on a lot of time since high school." He said and you grinned a little.
"Well, since you're here and you brought some takeout, why don't we put on a movie or show or something?" You suggested and he nodded at that idea.
So you grabbed the remote next to the book you were reading earlier. When you turned on the tv you started looking for a show for the both of you to enjoy while Jensen picked up the book you were reading.
"So what's this book about?" He asked you.
You glanced over and saw he was opening up the book and looking through it and you blushed a little.
"Ah, it's just a little romance novel. It's called The Healer's Apprentice. It's kind of a Sleeping Beauty retelling." You shrugged and found some random movie that was playing.
"A romance novel. Is it like a dirty book? Y/N I never took you to be that kind of girl." Jensen teased you and nudged playfully as he set the book down and opened the bag of food to dig in.
But you nearly choked on air and shook your head, face becoming hot and your cheeks turned red, "N-No! Not that kind of book at all!"
"Relax! It's not like I'm gonna judge you if you did read that kind of stuff." Jensen chuckled. You swore that every time he laughed his face would light up the room despite the grey clouds outside.
"Okay, whatever." You snickered and rolled your eyes before you opened up the food. Then you looked up and started watching whatever movie was playing. You didn't know much about what was happening since it just kind of started in the middle of the movie and you missed the beginning.
"How are you? Like how are you, really?" Jensen asked calmly. You were a little stunned by the question but you could tell he was being serious with it.
"Honestly? I'm really happy with my job. Thanks for the reference letter by the way. I know I've probably thanked you for that a zillion times along with helping me move out here," You began.
"The pain of the breakup still hurts... It hurts a lot less though. But it's there. When the person you trust for so long stabs you in the back - or two people for that matter - of course the pain is going to be there for a little longer than you'd like it to be." You picked at your food as you thought about that scene yet again.
"But you've really helped a lot. I can't tell you how shocked I was to see you message me on Twitter. I honestly thought you forgot about me over the years."
Jensen looked at you once you let out that last statement. Something flashed in his eyes but you couldn't exactly pinpoint what it was. But then he spoke.
"Y/N I.. I've never forgotten about you. I don't think it was a coincidence that you showed up on my suggested list on Twitter. I didn't when I found your name and that's why I DM'ed you. When I saw your name.. I thought that it could be now or never. Especially when I saw were happened to be in the same area back when I was doing the convention with Jared and the rest of the cast." He said.
You listened to each word and you could tell that he was sincere. There was some sort of softness in his gaze now. Now or never... He was that adamant about messaging you?
"Jensen..." You whispered softly as he set his food down on the table. You tilted your head a little, wondering where this was going. Nonetheless, you set your food down on the coffee table next to his.
He shifted his body to face you a little better. Your heart was starting to race. You swore to yourself that Jensen was just a friend helping you out of a rough patch in your life. But the sincerity in his voice, and the way he made you feel without even trying.
You could hear the thunder in the slight distance, the rain was tapping on your windows practically in tune with your heart's fast rate. He placed his hand on the couch within the space between you both., causing you to look down at it. You slowly inched your hand towards his own and he laced his fingers with yours.
"I've really missed you... A lot actually." You heard him whisper. You glanced up and him and noticed his gaze was fixed on your interlocked fingers.
"Then… show me how much you’ve missed me.” You managed to speak.
He looked up at you, prolonging the eye contact for a few moments before you realized that he was slowly starting to get closer. You notice his eyes flickered to your lips for a moment before back into your eyes, causing your insides to summersault.
Yet he seemed to be hesitant.
“I’m not kidding.” You reassured in a hushed tone and he tucked his bottom lip between his teeth.
Then he leaned further in, closing the gap between the two of you.
The moment you felt the warmth of his lips colliding with your own, you melted into him. You eyes fluttered shut and you kissed him back.
Time stood still for both of you. The movie long forgotten as well as the takeout. All that you could hear was the continued tapping of the rain on your window growing harder as the storm continued. And here you were in your living room with the man that was quickly stealing your heart out of what felt like nowhere.
You felt him tilt his head a little to deepen your kiss and his hand move from being locked with your fingers, to resting on the back of your neck. His touch was so calming as both of you seemed to kiss with the rhythm of the rain.
You lifted one of your hands and carefully touched his cheek. You could feel him begin to pull away and when he did, he rested his forehead against your own. You slowly moved to where you straddled his lap and he looked up at you.
Jensen placed his hands on your thighs, your arms looped around his shoulders. Both of you looked at each other and there was so much you wanted to say to each other. Somehow, what you wanted to say was mutually understood, yet there were no words spoken between the two of you.
This time you were the one that leaned in and your lips met his. The kiss was a little more passionate this time. It was a sweet kind of passion, something that somehow felt long awaited. You knew he wanted the same thing you did, you knew that he wanted more. He was right that it couldn't be a coincidence. This must've been meant to be. It was exhilarating to take a chance like this.
Jensen moved to where your back was hitting the cushions of the couch. You wrapped your legs around his waist and you could feel his hips against yours. His hands began to roam and you could feel one of them go beneath your shirt. His hand felt warm against the bare skin of your side as things began to escalate.
Some time passed and the two of you made it from the living room couch to your bedroom. Both of you were under the sheets trying to regain your breath. You looked at Jensen. His hair was messed up and out of place, his shirtless chest heaving with each breath up until he finally got his breathing back to normal and you snickered.
He looked at you and he smiled before he moved to lay on his side. You shifted to face him and he moved a strand of hair away from your face.
"Why do I get the feeling you wanted to do that for a while?" You asked with a light chuckle and a grin. He smiled as he pulled you close to his chest and you rested against him.
"Honestly? It's been more than a while." He replied, whispering before he leaned down and kissed the top of your head. But you couldn't help but to wonder.
"How long is more than a while?" You asked softly.
"Since before your first boyfriend. Since the time we build that fort when you and that boyfriend broke up. But then I went to start my career." He began and you listened, "Not taking a shot with you when I had the chance was the only regret I've ever had."
You lifted your head and looked up at him, you met his eyes and they looked so entrancing in that moment.
"Now that you've had your chance, what will you do?"
You saw the look of uncertainty in Jensen's eyes and you knew that when two people sleep together, the dynamic changes. It wasn't always for the better.
You moved to where you were leaning up on an elbow and you smiled softly at him, "Hey, nothing bad will change between us. Like you said... now or never, right?" Then you leaned up and placed a soft kiss on his lips.
"So why not choose now?"
Jensen smiled at the question and he leaned down and let his nose brush against yours in a little eskimo kiss. "I'll choose it only if you do too."
You couldn't help but smile and you placed a gentle hand behind his neck. "Without hesitation." You promised.
Jensen grinned at you before he kissed you again before he started to place soft kisses on your cheek and down your neck.
"You up for another round?" He asked and you laughed as he started to hover over you.
You knew that moving here was for the better. You were happier than you had ever been. And you know that this man would continue to make you happy and you knew that in a way, he would be the cause of your happily ever after.
He'd be the one by your side. You knew it for sure. And you were glad that both of you chose to be together now before you'd lose the chance.
Thank you so much for reading and thank you to my followers for your supports! I hope all of you are well! Wishing you all the best! Each one of you are amazing and deserve the world!

That day on the lake had started with uncertainty, but when he pulled you from the water everything became clear. The truth was, he'd been the one drowning.
Pairing: Jensen Ackles x Reader, Jensen x Reader, Jensen x You
Characters: Jensen Ackles, Jared Padalecki, Genevieve Padalecki, Misha Collins, Reader
Warnings: Hurt/Comfort, Hospitals, Drowning, Fluff, Angst, Smut, unprotected sex
Chapter One: Watch Your Head
Word Count: 3551
Author's Notes: This is a complete work of fiction about a real life person. The circumstances are totally made up and are in no way a commentary on the fantastic Jensen Ackles or his family.
This is also a unique reader insert story as I have given the reader a physical description including hair color, eye color and body type. Hopefully you can still lose yourself in the utter fantasy where Jensen is the hero and you are ripe for rescuing!
Series Masterlist
“I still can’t believe you talked me into a damned sailboat,” Jensen grumbled as he struggled with the rigging. “This thing doesn’t even have a motor.”
“It was the only thing available to rent, next time we’ll make a reservation.” Jared pulled out two bottles of beer from the cooler and handed one over, “The dude at the rental place said this was top of the line.”
“Next time we’ll buy our own jet skis and save ourselves the trouble.”
“Buy them to use for a few months only? After that, who knows when or if we’ll be back up here.”
Jensen looked out over the crystal clear waters of Lake Cultus. He’d forgotten about that or tried to anyway. They were currently filming the last season of Supernatural. His professional home for the past fifteen years was ending. Even though he knew it was the right decision, it still made his heart clench just to think about it. He had loved every minute of the crazy ride that was Dean Winchester, and he was going to miss it terribly.
“Yeah, you’re probably right.”
Sensing his friend’s melancholy, Jared grinned and gestured off starboard, “Besides, jet skis don’t offer the same vantage point.”
Jensen followed Jared’s line of sight to a single person kayak painted neon pink and decorated with marathon stickers. A pretty brunette paddled smoothly, cutting a quick, efficient path across the lake. She wore mirrored aviators and a lime green life vest that looked especially bright against her toned, tanned arms. “Valid point.”
Jensen grinned and saluted the woman as she passed them, earning a wave and beaming smile in return.
“Why don’t you swim on over and say hello?”
“Nah,” Jensen replied, downing the last of the bottle.
“Come on, you’re a free man now. Have a little fun!”
“My divorce just got finalized two months ago, the ink’s barely dry.”
“You’ve had a hell of a year; I mean the way everything went down with Danneel. You didn’t deserve that.”
Jensen shot him a warning look. His broken heart was far from healed and it still caught him off guard. He’d walked in on her with one of his close friends. Well, former friend now. God knows how long it had been going on. It was fresh and hurt like hell. Thank God there were no kids involved. There was a point when he had hoped they could start a family. Now? That was obviously not in the cards. He was only just resigning himself to the fact that he had to start over completely. Not just professionally and not just personally.
Jensen Ackles had to find out who the hell he was without the roles that had provided him with a template for so long. The prospect would probably be exciting at some point but for now? It scared the hell out of him.
“I know, I know. I promised I wouldn’t say her name, I’m sorry,” Jared gave him those puppy dog eyes he was so well known for, “I’m just saying, getting back in the saddle might be just what you need, you know? Get a little confidence back.”
“I don’t want to be in the saddle, man. I want… wanted, a family. Now I don’t know. My marriage is over, Supernatural is over, or almost.”
“Fifteen seasons, that’s hell of a good run for any show.” Jared gently reminded him.
“It’s just, its home. You know? I thought that when it ended, I would go back to Austin and build another kind of home with her. And no, it wasn’t perfect. Hell, half the time it barely passed as mediocre, but I figured if I was there more then we could work all that out together.”
“You deserve better than mediocre, man. You deserve to have someone who wants to be there with you, someone who works as hard as you do, a partner.”
“A partner,” Jensen repeated shaking his head. “I don’t even know what I want half the time, I have no idea where my career is going after this. Bringing that kind of baggage into a relationship, even into a one-night stand… just doesn’t seem right.”
As always, Jared refused to let go of something he felt strongly about. “You deserve to find love, for real. All I’m saying is maybe this divorce is making way for something better.”
They tabled the heavy discussion of marriage and career as they brought the boat in to dock. Finding it easier and more productive to slip into the dynamic of teamwork they had nurtured over the past decade.
Jared struggled to keep a hold of the rope as the wind gusted and caught the main sail. “Heads up!” he called out as he lost his grip and the mast swung out of his reach.
Jensen ducked just in time as the mast swung wildly over his head. “You suck at this!”
You loved the outdoors. Hours spent in the sun either on the water or in the mountains were pretty much your idea of heaven. The fresh air combined with the peace and quiet recharged your soul. Especially when your workaholic tendencies had you feeling low. Your job wasn’t easy, it had hellish hours and a grueling pace, but you helped people. You made a difference, in ways that were quantifiable, every day. But it was lonely. Easy to isolate and you did. Half out of habit, half out of necessity. So much so that even when you found yourself with free time, you still kept your own council. You knew it was safer that way, but it didn’t stop you from wanting something more.
You gently glided your well-loved kayak to the dock and secured it to the tie off point. Hooking the life vest to the seat, you climbed onto the weather-beaten boards and popped your lower back to release the tension. It was just a brief stop to stretch your legs and use the restrooms before heading back to the far side of the lake.
That fancy sailboat you’d seen earlier was bobbing along the other side of the dock and you could hear the two guys yelling back and forth at each other as they tried to maneuver it around. Honestly, it was a bit too big for just the two of them. Especially if they were inexperienced at sailing. You smiled as you thought back to the one who had who had flirted a little out on the open water. They sure were cute though. Cute and definitely trouble.
Still, I should give them a hand before they hurt themselves. You were about to give them a shout when the sail mast barreled towards you.
The sudden yelp followed by a loud splash had both men looking over the side at the boat. When the mast swung back again, they could see the familiar pink kayak floating abandoned by the dock. The life vest was sitting in the empty seat, but its owner was nowhere to be seen.
"What the hell was that?” asked Jared, scanning the dock. “Was that the girl from across the lake?”
It was then that Jensen noticed the ripples and bubbles coming from the water next to the kayak. “Shit!” Whipping off his own life jacket and sunglasses, he dove into the water.
Jared frantically climbed down to stand on the dock and dial 911. It was safer for one of them to stay on land while, the other was in the water. But knowing that didn’t make it easier to wait while his best friend was risking his life.
Jensen surfaced a few seconds later, turning in circles in the water, “Do you see her?”
“No, nothing!”
Jensen took a deep breath and dove again, this time going a bit farther out and down. Lake Cultus was known for its clean, clear water, making it far easier for him to search. Still, every second that ticked by made a positive outcome that much less likely. He was about to surface again and head off in another direction, when he caught a glimpse of your white tank top. Swimming closer, he could see you clearly. Limp body drifting along with the current, slowly sinking. Your dark hair floating around your face like smoke in the water. He wrapped an arm firmly around your waist and kicked you both towards the sunlight streaming above.
After what seemed like an eternity, Jensen surfaced again. This time several feet out from the dock and with the unconscious woman anchored to his side.
Years spent growing up in the Texas heat meant summers spent in the water. Countless hours in lakes, swimming pools and even the ocean made Jensen an exceptionally strong swimmer. Which was a good thing, because at this point, you were basically dead weight.
Jared knelt down and leaned out over the dock, reaching his long arms down to help bring you up out of the water.
“Careful, watch her head” Jensen advised, as he handed you off to Jared.
He quickly swam over to the ladder and climbed up. “We need to call an ambulance,” he panted. God don’t let us be too late. You were so still and pale, and there was a massive bruise already forming on your temple where the mast had made contact.
“I already did,” Jared confirmed. He held his ear close to your mouth and felt for a pulse. “I don’t think she’s breathing.” He quickly repositioned himself and began chest compressions. “Help me out,” he said, nodded to Jensen to take the other position by your head.
Jensen slid his hand under your neck and tilted your chin up so that your airway would be clear. He did his best not to let the fear clawing up his spine distract him from doing what needed to be done.
He forced his mind back to the first aid class Misha had insisted they take when he learned how they spent their free time. If you two idiots insist on risking your lives for fun, at least be responsible about it.
After weeks of hounding, they both relented and became CPR certified. He had to admire Jared’s calm as he performed the compressions, he always was good under pressure. Jensen could lean on that and be stronger for it. In the toughest of times, they could always lean on each other. This time would be no different. When Jared paused, Jensen pinched your nose closed and sealed his mouth over yours, forcing air into your lungs.
Not getting a response, he shook his head and Jared began again. He tried to ignore the sickening sound of your ribs cracking under the pressure of those lifesaving compressions. The water had been cold, even for a summer day and you were as well. Cold and still. It was one thing to play out dramas on TV, it was something else entirely to have it unfold in real life.
“Come on honey, breathe,” Jensen chanted, praying as he continued the cycle. He watched you carefully for any sign of life, his fingers pressed the pulse point in your throat. Dark, water-spiked lashes lay motionless against colorless cheeks. Gently parted lips tinged blue. “Please…”
He pressed his lips over yours again and suddenly your entire frame jolted as you coughed up a mouth full of lake water.
“Hey, there we go!” Jared exclaimed in relief as they rolled you onto your side into the recovery position allowing you to clear more water from your lungs.
“Thank god!” Jensen exchanged a look with Jared. Neither of them not at all comfortable with how close this was.
You rolled back onto your back, trying to make sense out of the bright colors and ringing in your ears. Your lungs burned; your muscles burned. Everything seemed to be spinning. A figure hovered above you, silhouetted against the blinding sun. You blinked and squinted as you tried to bring your eyes into focus. When a cloud drifted in front of the sun, your vison cleared. You saw worried green eyes, chiseled features, water droplets that clung to dark blonde hair and glistened. Somewhere in the back of your muddled mind, you recognized that face.
Your eyes fluttered open and revealed the most remarkable vivid, blue eyes Jensen had ever seen. Like those Texas bluebonnets that grew wild back home.
He smiled down at you, “Welcome back, sweetheart.”
Something flickered in your gaze, recognition combined with confusion. “Dean?”
Before he could respond, your eyes slid shut again. Jensen looked up to see Jared heading back to the boat for towels and blankets. He shrugged, desperate to lighten the heaviness of what had just transpired. “I guess she’s a fan.”
It was the pounding in your head that woke you. Your whole body ached and felt heavy. Either this was the worst hangover in history, or you’d been hit by a freight train. It took a colossal amount of effort to open your eyes and when you did, you regretted it. The florescent lights gave the room a slightly green cast and caused your stomach to clench unpleasantly. There was a faint, yet insistent beeping coming from somewhere that was keeping time with the throbbing behind your eyes. When your head fell to the side, you saw a man sitting there. You could tell he was tall, even though he was seated. He seemed to be uncomfortably folded into the chair like human origami.
“Hello?”
The raspy whisper tore Jensen’s attention away from the phone in his hands. Those blue eyes were hazy has they watched him. He sat up, instantly at attention. “Hey! You’re awake! That’s… wow that’s great.”
“I know you,” you tilted her head and frowned, trying to put things together. You studied his face and found him both ridiculously attractive and completely unfamiliar. “Wait, do I know you?”
"Not exactly, not officially.” Fuck! Why they hell am I so nervous?
He cleared his throat, “My name’s Jensen.”
“Jensen,” you repeated softly. “That’s pretty.”
He had to chuckle. “Thanks.”
“I’m in the hospital.” You knew you were stating the obvious, but that seemed to be the best your foggy brain could come up with. It was as if you were a computer struggling to pull up information on an outdated browser. Everything was slow.
Your brows drew together, “Why am I in the hospital?”
“That’s my fault.” Guilt clouded Jensen’s features, “There was an accident, out on the lake and you got hurt.”
“An accident… I don’t remember that,” you murmured uneasily. “Wait, if we’ve never met, why are you here?”
“I wanted to make sure you were going to be okay and apologize. I am so sorry; this whole thing was my fault.”
You gave him a weak smile. “You’re sweet, but you shouldn’t beat yourself up. You did say it was an accident.”
“It was, but I was still responsible for it.” You were watching him with such compassion, like you wanted to comfort him. “God, I never even thought to ask… what’s your name, sweetheart?”
Something about the way that endearment rolled off his tongue seemed familiar. It was warm, safe, comforting. Like a verbal hug.
“I’m Y/N... Y/N…” You faltered and frowned. Something wasn’t right. “Y/N… I, I don’t know. I don’t know the rest…”
“What? Your last name? You don’t know your last name?”
“I don’t remember.” Your heart sped up as panic crept up your spine. Your wide eyes sought out his. “I don’t remember!”
"Hey, it’s okay,” he soothed, trying to calm you down. “Just take a deep breath, it will all come back to you.”
You shut your mouth and swallowed thickly, your complexion turning slightly green, “I think… I’m going to be sick.”
Jensen was barely able to grab the trash can in time for you to empty your stomach into it. After you finally stopped heaving, he passed her a cup of water to rinse your mouth out. He gently brushed the hair away from your face. “Will you be okay while I go for the nurse?”
You nodded and closed your eyes, far too exhausted to be embarrassed about tossing your cookies in front of a handsome stranger. You didn’t open them again until the door squeaked open. A stout man in a white lab coat and scrubs entered with Jensen close behind.
The new man smiled kindly and took the clip board from the foot of the bed, “Glad to see you’re awake, I’m Doctor Stevens. How are you feeling?”
“Like I was ran over by a Mack truck. Twice.”
The doctor chuckled as he took your vitals, “I’ll bet you do. Can you sit up for me?”
You slowly complied and tried not to wince when he placed the stethoscope bell against your back. Listening to your lungs through the cotton hospital gown.
“Go ahead and breathe, deep as you can,” he instructed, not seeming at all surprised when you were only able to draw a shallow breath without encountering sharp pain.
“Well, your lungs are nice and clear.” The doctor said as he helped ease you back down. “You are a very lucky young lady.”
You squinted as he shone a pen light in your eyes, “I’ll buy a lotto ticket.”
“Be sure you take this guy with you when you do,” Stevens gestured to Jensen who was leaning against the window frame. His downcast eyes flickered up briefly, then looked uncomfortably away. “He saved your life. Winchester to the rescue!”
“What?” Why the hell is everything so confusing? I’m beginning to feel like an idiot.
“Thanks to Mr. Ackles, you were only under the water for a minute or two. Your rib fracture is as a result of the CPR. Which is typical and a minor price to pay when you consider the alternative. Not to worry though, I expect that to heal without much trouble.”
The doctor scribbled down a few notes in her chart, not taking any notice of the effect his words were having on his patient. You were equal parts shocked and pissed. Under the water, CPR, had you drowned? What the hell kind of doctor glossed over the details like that?!
“CPR? My heart stopped?!”
He had the audacity to pat her knee through the thin hospital blanket. “Only briefly, Mr. Ackles and Mr. Padalecki did an excellent job reviving you.”
Something about the way he smiled at Jensen in acknowledgement told you that you were missing some kind of connection. You couldn’t help feeling that the doctor was more interested in complimenting your rescuer than informing you about your own condition.
“Padalecki? Who the hell is Padalecki?”
Stevens opened his mouth to reply but you cut him off, “No, you know what… it doesn’t matter. Why don’t you tell me my last name, since I can’t seem to remember it? Or my address, or my phone number, or what I do for a living?!” Thoroughly upset now, frustrated tears gathered in your eyes. “I can’t even remember if I have a dog!”
The doctor glanced over at Jensen who only crossed his arms over his chest in response. He cleared his throat uncomfortably and replaced his fanboy demeanor with that of a medical professional.
“You took quite a hard knock to the head which resulted in a severe concussion. The MRI we took when you were first admitted didn’t show any swelling or brain bleeds. Now that you are awake, I’d like to take another scan just to be sure. Memory loss is quite common in cases like this and normally resolves itself given enough time and rest.”
You took a deep breath and nodded. It was a lot to take in, but from the sound of it, things could have been far worse. “And my name?”
“Unfortunately, there were no forms of identification in your personal effects.” Stevens gave your shoulder a gentle squeeze, “Get some rest and try not to worry. Everything’s going to be just fine.”
You watched Jensen sink down into the chair next to your hospital bed. For the first time, you noticed the lines of fatigue around his eyes, the exhaustion that hung around his shoulders. How long had he been here? Watching over you like a guardian angel, sitting by your side until he was sure you were okay.
“Is all of that true? Did you save me?”
He wasn’t sure why he reached over and took your hand in his. Maybe it was hearing that doctor laying it all out, he just wanted to reassure himself that you had survived. That you were sitting here talking to him, not laying motionless on the dock, lungs filled with lake water.
"It was only fair, considering it was my fault. My friend Jared and I were messing around on the boat, the sail got away from us and hit you in the head, knocked you into the water. We didn’t even know you were there until we saw your kayak tied to the dock. I’m so sorry, Y/N.”
You squeezed the large, slightly calloused hand in yours and smiled. That same kind smile that he was certain he didn’t deserve. “Thank you. You saved my life; the rest was an accident. Let’s call it a draw.”

Operation Christmas Couple -Halloween Party Timestamp
Pairing- Jensen, x Female! Reader
Word count- 3,164
Warnings- Language, slight angst maybe, drunk Jensen, implied smut
A/N- It’s my birthday, but you get the present. Since the new series isn’t as far as I would like it to be before it starts posting, I hope you enjoy this OCC timestamp. All mistakes are mine, and this was written between midnight and 2 am the last 2 nights I’m sure there are a few.
Summary- It’s season 7, but for the purpose of this fic some of the characters made earlier season appearances than they actually did on the show. This is the first Timestamp for Operation Christmas Couple. This one takes you back to before the series begins, and the night a drunken Jensen confesses what he has been hiding from his roommate and friend.
Series Masterlist
Sitting in your chair you are waiting for the crew to reset the bunker scene you are trying to shoot with Jared, Jensen and Misha. Thanks to the former two things are moving a little slower today. It’s Misha’s last day on set for a few weeks and it seems like they are trying to screw with him a little more to make up for his upcoming absence.
The last take, Jared, had spilled Sam’s water on him, and Jensen had dropped Dean’s pie in his lap. So, Misha is currently in the wardrobe trailer for some clean clothes and they are drying up the set floor.
Jensen comes and takes a seat in his chair beside you, while Jared is leaning on the back of yours.
“Um, you two do know we are supposed to be finishing up early today right? Like it’s a scheduled short day.”
“Yeah, it will all be fine. We’ll still have plenty of time to get back here for the party if we leave a little later,” Jensen tells you without a worry.
“Speak for yourself, Mr. roll out of bed and look good. Some of us need to have time to do our hair, amongst other things. Right Jared?”
“Yeah. Wait what?”
Jensen doesn’t even chuckle at his friend like you thought he would. He’s just looking at you. “You know you don’t have to spend extra time getting ready, you look amazing already right?”
“Thanks Ackles, but there are going to be a lot of people there tonight, and I would rather I didn’t look like I just spent the whole day filming with two giant children.”
“Hey!” they both yell at you.
The studio was throwing a Halloween party tonight for all the shows currently filming here, and some of the executives were going to be there also. You know some people from the other shows, but there still are many more you have never met.
Filming finally wraps for the day and you are trying to hurry back to your apartment, but Jensen doesn’t seem to feel the need to move his very cute ass. You might have just been his roommate and friend, but you were not blind.
Standing outside his trailer, you are waiting for him to finish talking about who knows what with his PA. Surely, it could wait until you were all back on set Monday after the weekend. He finally emerges with his backpack slung over one shoulder.
“Are you finally ready to go?” you question.
“Yep,” he strolls along behind your fast paced walking. “Y/N, relax. What’s your hurry?”
“Did you forget the conversation earlier, where I said some of us need more time to get ready? There is hair, makeup, and clothes. Instead of having almost three hours to go home, get ready and come back, thanks to you and Jare, there are now only two.”
“Just because the party starts at 7 doesn’t mean we have to be walking back in the door then,” he says, catching back up to you and putting his arm around your shoulders as you both head for the car.
It has taken him so long, Clif has already taken Jared home and returned to the lot for the both of you. Once he pulls up outside the apartment you are hoping out of the vehicle, yelling out a thank you. Jensen just shakes his head at you, telling Cliff you and him will take an Uber back to the studio so he doesn’t have to wait for you two once Jared and Gen are ready. He hurries inside to see you stepping into the elevator.
“You better hold that door, Y/L/N!”
You are tempted not to, but you do hold the elevator and wait for him to get on. Finally in the apartment, you head off to your room while Jensen sets his bag down on the kitchen counter and grabs himself a beer from the fridge. Knowing he won’t need as much time to get ready as you.
Jensen also thinks you’re nuts for feeling like you have to take hours to get ready. He has always thought you were beautiful no matter what you were wearing, or had done to your hair. He isn’t a big fan of events like these, because he knows as one of the longer running shows in the studio he and Jared are supposed to be socializing with members of all the other shows. You do that also, but not usually with them. He’s afraid one of these days you are going to meet someone at these things who is going to take you away from him.
By seven he is ready to go. Even though it’s a Halloween party, it’s not a costume one. They figure most of you spend enough time pretending to be someone else. He is dressed in dark jeans, a black dress shirt with a maroon suit jacket. Turning the television back on he sits down on the couch and waits for you. Twenty minutes later you emerge from your bedroom mumbling to yourself.
“Are you ready?” he asks, standing from the couch and turning the television off. “Wow,” he says as his mouth drops open when he gets a look at you.
“Do I look alright?” you ask your roommate, turning around in your new black dress.
“Uh, yeah you look fantastic.” he tells you, once he is capable of speaking again. “I knew you would be running late, so I scheduled an Uber for 7:30, it should be downstairs in a few minutes.”
“Great.” You grab your purse, and black wrap and are ready to go.
The hall they are hosting tonight’s party is fairly full by the time the two of you arrive. Besides Supernatural, iZomobie, Riverdale, Flash, Arrow, Supergirl, Lucifer and Fringe, are all currently filming here. Most of their cast and crew are all in attendance.
You had no sooner walked in the door when someone you would rather not see runs up to Jensen. It was his ex, apparently she is in town to guest star on one of the other shows. They broke up not long after you started on the show, and it wasn’t a pretty breakup. Although, he doesn’t seem to mind talking to her now so you make yourself scarce. There is nothing you would hate more than to see him get back together with her. You keep waiting for the day he is going to come home and tell you he met someone. You aren’t sure you would be able to take that.
Jared and Gen find Jensen, not long after you have left him. His ex isn’t happy when she realizes she doesn’t have his full attention. Or even half of it, since he is going between listening to Jared and watching you.
Socializing with the other cast and crews, along with some of your own coworkers, you don’t have a chance to go look for Jensen or Jared. What you don’t know is Jensen hasn’t let you out of his sight all night long. While you are currently talking and laughing with Tom Ellis and Robert Buckley, your roommate is knocking back his third drink of the party before heading to the bar for something stronger than beer.
When he rejoins Jared, Gen and Joshua Jackson, his TV brother pulls him to the side. “Are you alright man? You’re hitting the alcohol a little hard tonight.”
“I’m fine.”
Tom is pulled away, but you continue your chat with Robert. You two are comparing CW sets, his experience on iZombie and One Tree Hill, to yours on Supernatural. When the crowd jostles you at one point, he puts his arm around you to keep you from falling. He just doesn’t move it when you are once again steady. As the noise level is picking up, the two of you need to lean closer to each other to hear what was being said.
You are completely taken off guard when you are suddenly pulled into someone else’s side and away from Robert. Turning to look at the newcomer, you see Jensen sending a glazed eyed stare at Robert.
“Hey Jay,” you cautiously greet him. “Have you met Robert Buckley? He was on One Tree Hill and is working on iZombie here now.”
“Great,” he replies.
“Robert, this is my co-star and roommate, Jensen Ackles.”
Robert holds out his hand, which Jensen finally shakes after a moment.
“Yeah, roommate, I’m the roommate. Always the damn roommate.”
“Apparently, you are now the roommate who’s had too much to drink,” you hiss at him, but he just shrugs. “Where is Jared?”
“Around.”
“Why don’t you go find him?”
“And leave you to be taken, taken vantage of? No, nope,” he slurs out.
You turn back to Robert, “it was great talking to you, but I should get him some water, or coffee and maybe a ride home. I’d love to continue this conversation sometime...”
“Sure ya would,” Jensen grumbles behind you.
“If I don’t end up in jail for killing my roommate,” you finish, glaring at Jensen.
“Sounds good,” Robert hands you a card with his number before bidding you farewell.
When he’s gone, you turn around and glare at your roommate, “what the hell was that?”
He just shrugs, and throws one arm around your shoulders pulling you close once again.
“How much have you had to drink? You aren’t normally like this, especially with execs around.”
Another shrug.
“Could I have something besides a shrug?”
“No,” he almost yells with a shake of his head. He starts to wobble, but holds himself steady.
“Okay, that’s enough, let's go outside.”
You start heading for the door, while almost pulling him along next to you. Thankfully, Clif notices something isn’t right and makes his way toward the two of you. He tries to shift Jensen off of you, but the man won’t let go.
When the three of you are finally standing outside, Clif asks if you want him to go get the car to take Jensen home. You turn to your roommate, “are you good with Clif taking you home?”
“You too.”
“You’re well past wasted, Jens, I think you’re the one who needs to go home. Then Clif can come back for Jared and Gen. I’ll get an Uber later.”
“No.”
“Why not?”
“Not leave…leaving you… lone.”
“I’ll be fine. It’s a studio party on a closed lot.”
“No.”
“Why not?”
“Come with me.”
So much for you trying to have fun tonight. “It’s barely nine. Which speaking of, how’d you managed to get so wasted so fast, is beyond me. But you want me to leave and go back with you?”
“Yes.”
Rubbing a hand over your face you look at Clif and shake your head. “Fine if it will get you to leave, I’ll come help take you home.”
It’s a twenty minute drive back to the apartment. Jensen is sitting next to you in the back. You don’t notice that he keeps looking back at you with a drunk little smile.
“Do you want to tell me what in the world is going on?” you finally ask.
He shakes his head.
“I think you owe me an explanation for making me leave.”
He turns and looks out the window, “I couldn’t take it anymore, I had to do something.”
“Couldn't take what?”
“But it doesn’t matter, cause I can’t have it.”
“I have no idea what you are talking about.” You look up at Clif, who is stopped at a red light. He just shakes his head.
“Should have been me,” Jensen mumbles to himself, but you still caught it.
Reaching the building, Clif pulls into an empty spot out front. Jensen is already opening his door and stumbling towards you before his bodyguard can grab him.
Once he reaches you he puts his arm around you and pulls you close once again. “Night, Clify,” he says with a clumsy wave.
Clif still follows you into the building, when Jensen turns around in the elevator he notices he’s still there, ‘Hi Clify.”
“Hi Jay,” he responds with a shake of his head.
Up in the apartment, Jensen stumbles to the couch, while you try and get him to go change out his dress clothes.
“You want me naked?” He asks with a smile.
“You know what, fine sleep in those clothes. Here is a water bottle and some pain pills for you,” you set the items down in front of him.
Jensen reaches out and grabs your arm, pulling you down beside him. When you try and stand up he pulls you back down.
“I’m going with Clif back to the party.”
“No, stay…with me.”
You are more than a little frustrated at this point, having been looking forward to this party and the chance to spend time with the other casts and crews. You know you aren’t in the best mood to go back to the party, though. You would probably end up in as bad a shape as Jensen is.
Looking up at Clif you give a little shrug, “I guess I’m staying home. Thanks for your help.”
“No problem, call if you have any problems.”
“Thanks.” You try to get up to walk him to the door, but someone won’t let you.
“Bye Clify,” Jensen calls.
You stay on the couch for a few minutes and wait for Jensen to relax. When you think he has, you try to stand up. He immediately tries to reach for you.
“If you are going to make me stay home, I would at least like to change into some sweats.”
He finally lets you get up. When you come back in lounge pants and one of Jensen’s shirts you stole a while back, you sit down at the table in front of him.
“Alright, what’s going on with you? And don’t you dare tell me nothing. Jens, you don’t usually drink as much as you must have tonight.”
He sits back on the couch and gives you a glassed over look.
“Fine, if you don’t want to talk to me, I’m not going to sit here and stare at you.”
You stand up and start to walk away when you hear Jensen mumble something behind you.
“Should be me.”
“What was that?”
“Had to do something.”
“What’s that mean?”
“I couldn’t just stand there and watch or I would have punched ‘em. So I kept drinkin.”
“Who were you going to punch?”
“Those guys.”
You can’t help the eye roll. “That narrows it down, Ackles. There were a lot of guys there tonight.”
“He kept touching you, and you were laughing at whatever he said to you. I couldn’t take it.”
“Wait. Are you talking about Robert?”
“Stupid pretty boy, just kept touching you. Shoulda been me, but I can’t.”
“You keep saying that, what does it mean, should have been you.”
He turns to look at you, “but Jared says it can’t be.”
“I don’t know if you are too drunk for this conversation, or I’m too sober.”
Jensen gets up and slowly starts walking around the living room.
“Something’s bothering you, because tonight was way too out of character for there not to be.”
“I wish it was me.”
“What?” you are beginning to get a headache from trying to have this same conversation. “Why do you want to punch Robert?”
“Because it shoulda been me,” he turns around and yells at you this time. “I should have you in my arms, by my side, but I can’t.”
“Jens…”
He starts laughing, “but I’m just the roommate. This is Jensen, he’s my roommate, just the fucking roommate. But we aren’t actually fuckin.”
You are too shocked to say anything, but it doesn’t matter, the man is on a roll now.
“I can’t be more than the roommate, because I can’t disrupt the fucking balance, so I have to just sit back and watch, but I can’t do that anymore.”
“What balance?” you try to question.
“If things didn't work out, Jared said I can’t make that move unless I’m sure. But what if I’m sure I’m sure, but then I misread the whole thing. What happens if I lose you anyway, then I’ve lost.
“You have completely lost me in this conversation,” you try to cut him off. You thought he was slowly sobering up, but now you aren’t so sure.
“See he was right, it’s happening already.”
“What is?”
“I’m losing you.”
You stand up and walk over to where he is standing by the window, looking out at the city. Softly putting your hand on the side of his face, you guide him to look at you. “Jay, what is all this about? You aren’t losing me, I’m right here. Why do you think you are?”
“But I will, when you meet someone who isn’t afraid of losing their best friend so they can tell you.”
“Tell me what? What don’t you think you can tell me”
“I’m in love with you, but I can’t have you.
Well that catches you off guard. You’ve had feelings for Jensen that you have tried to bury over the years, but you didn’t think he would feel the same way about you. The man was the picture of perfection and could have anyone he wanted.
“See you can’t even say anything back. Jared was right, I should have kept my mouth shut and not said anything.”
“No no no, I’m just surprised to hear you say that. Jensen you could have anyone anywhere, I don’t understand why you would be interested in me.”
“You are the only girl I’m interested in,” he steps closer to you now, putting his hands on either side of your face, he slowly leans down and meets your lips in a soft kiss.
When you two pull apart, you can’t help but ask, “did Jared really tell you not to tell me?”
“Yeah, I’ve been trying to pretend I didn’t feel like I did.”
“How long?”
“Before we became roommates.””
“We used to sit out here and talk at night, I thought then that you might have some of the same feelings I did, but nothing ever happened. So I told myself it was all in my head,” you confess.
“He had me so worried about losing you as a roommate, friend, and even coworker if it didn’t work out between us I couldn’t take a chance on doing anything to ruin what we had. I’m not letting go of you now,” he tells you before moving in to kiss you again.
“We were idiots,” you whisper to him, when you break for air.
“No, we have meddling friends who are idiots. If it wasn’t for him, I would have done this a few years ago,” he tells you before kissing you again.
Picking you up, he carries you to his bedroom to make up for lost time.
Thank you for reading!!!

Always There To Get Me Goin’ (Part 3)
Summary: The reader surprises Jensen on the last day on set and gets a surprise of her own when she finally gets to see him in his suit...
Masterlist
Pairing: Jensen x reader
Word Count: 1,300ish
Warnings: language, smut
A/N: Enjoy!
______
“Well good morning to me,” you said, whistling as Jensen walked into his trailer wearing a tank top and sporting his normal amount of scruff once again. “Oh look at those little cheeks.”
“How the hell…” he trailed off when you held up a badge. “But we’re not allowed visitors-“
“I am technically a…production assistant intern,” you said, reading off the badge. “I DM’d Kripke. He got me a pass for the day.”
“Oh so technically you have to do whatever I ask you to,” he said. You held up a hand and waggled it, Jensen stalking over to where you sat, leaning against the arm rests. “Now you’re not handling your job duties very well are you.”
“I will handle many things later. After work.” He pouted, leaning in close. “Don’t worry. I’ll tug on that pretty hair as much as you want.”
“Fine,” he whined. “But only because I need to make a quick video and then change before I film one last scene.”
“Wait you’re filming without a beard? Why-”
“Sh. Spoiler free household remember,” he said. You opened your mouth and he put a hand over it. “I’d keep that shut. Never know what might slip in there.”
“Slip things wherever you like,” you mumbled. He hummed, pecking a quick kiss on your lips.
“Stay put. I won’t be long.”
“Fuck,” you said to yourself when Jensen got back to his trailer when he was done for the day. You hadn’t seen him in person in his suit before and the pictures did not do him justice. He took a deep breath before stopping in front of your chair.
“I could use some help getting out of this,” he said. “Wouldn’t want me to report you to your boss would we?”
“Depends. Is my boss going to make a move on me?”
“Hell yes I am. Come on,” he said. He grabbed your hand, leading you back to the small bedroom, kicking the door shut. You put your hands on his arms, sliding them up until you hit his vest. You smirked, running your hands down, finding a belt. You looked for a buckle or a snap but it seemed to be a part of the vest on second glance. He chuckled and slid your hands to his sides. “You have no idea how to take this off do you.”
“I don’t want to break it,” you said.
“Probably not a good idea.” He put his hands on either side of the vest and tugged, both sides opening up. “Velcro.”
“Oh,” you said, watching the sides of the vest come undone, Jensen lifting the vest and belt, his holster tied in with it, over his head and setting it on the ground beside you. Your hands went to his chest and while you saw the zipper fold, it ran straight up to the cowl around his neck. He tugged on that as well, the cowl coming off in a single piece and being added to the pile. “So that’s how you get in this thing.”
“More fun taking it off sometimes.” You pulled on the zipper, Jensen racing to rip off the gloves on his hands. “Wait-”
“You’re too slow,” you said, grabbing the suit and tugging it down. The sleeves were tucked into his gloves though and you smirked, Jensen giving you a warning glance before you pushed him back on the bed, effectively trapping his arms behind him.
“Y/N-” he said before you covered his mouth with your hand.
“I still owe you for that window treatment a few months back,” you said. You kicked off your shorts and finished pulling his suit down until you saw his compression shorts. One quick movement later both they and his boxer briefs were tugged down, his cock springing free. He was half hard and a few rough pumps had him standing tall.
He bit his bottom lip when you straddled his hips and sunk down, bottoming out quickly.
“You know moving up here while you were filming may just be the best decision I ever made.” You lifted off of him, leaving just the tip of his cock inside before you slammed down. He grunted and you leaned forward, planting your hands on either side of him, staring him in the eye. You gripped his hair and watched him give in, face soft and pliant, jaw dropping when you picked up a fast and harsh pace.
“Y/N,” he whined. You kissed his neck and sucked, his whole body tensing. “Slower. Slower. I won’t last.”
“Who said I want you to last? Don’t worry about getting me off. You can eat me out after you fill me up.” He whimpered as you worked on giving him a hickey, thighs already burning. Your walls were squeezing him hard, Jensen sucking in air when he finally came. He made a series of muffled groans before you finally slipped off of him and crawled upwards quickly. “Clean me up.”
He sighed happily when you knelt over him, one of your hands keeping your underwear pushed aside. His tongue dove in and out, shivers running down your spine while he worked you over.
You couldn’t help the small shake in your body when he turned his attention to your clit. He wasn’t going easy on you, tongue swiping and assaulting the bundle of nerves. You felt the shockwave of sparks start in your feet and work up your legs when he switched to sucking and lapping at the same time.
“Jensen,” you moaned softly, coming hard, Jensen not letting off until you were already into another orgasm. You forced yourself away, sitting back against the wall, breathing hard. He licked his lips and grinned, pulling his arms out from behind himself, gloves free now. “Always such a fucking pushy bottom aren’t you. Can’t just come and ask me to ride me senseless can you?”
“Yeah but you like it,” he said, ripping off his other sleeve, scooting up the bed and taking a deep breath. “Oh and sweetheart? You can ride me senseless anytime. Anytime.”
“When we’re back home I’ll tie up you and make you scream all you want.”
“Here I was going to offer the same thing,” he said. You leaned down and kissed him, Jensen grabbing your waist and flipping you over to the other side of the bed, smirking and staring down at you.
“Down Soldier Boy,” you teased. He bit at your bottom lip but pulled away after only a moment.
“Oh if you want to play with him be careful what you wish for,” he said. There was a loud knock on the trailer wall and you both sat up quickly.
“Jensen! There’s a little wrap party on back lot when you’re changed,” called a voice.
“Thanks! Be there in a minute!” he shouted. He ran a hand over his face, wide eyed when he touched his neck. “Y/N! How am I gonna explain a hickey!”
“With this,” you said. You stood up and grabbed the bandana tied to the strap of his backpack, twisting it and tying it around his neck, making sure it covered the fresh mark. “Ta da.”
“You’re lucky you’re smart. And cute,” he said. You kissed his cheek and he grinned. “Coming to the party?”
“Sure. Although I do have to ask, am I meeting former co-workers or these will be your co-workers next year?” you asked.
“Why don’t you try to get the answer out of me back in the states. You win, I’ll tell you then and there if I’m back or not. You lose...you do that thing I like.” You narrowed your eyes and he stood up. “If you’re too afraid-”
“Oh it’s on Ackles,” you said. “You are so losing.”
“Whatever you say, sweetheart.”

Part 2
“Hey, Y/N–” Leah’s voice fills the air and you pull away from Jared’s tight embrace, only to see a look of embarrassment etched on the young girl's face. Her eyes dart between you and Jared as if she thinks she caught you in some kind of moment with him. The thoughts only worsen when you catch a glimpse of yourself in the mirror, hair mussed, eyes red and puffy, you could only imagine what she thought she was seeing the aftermath of. You start to panic at the thought of rumors flying on set, Leah was fairly new, and you already knew from the limited time you’d spent with her that she had a tendency to gossip.
“Shit, I’m sorry. I didn’t– I’ll go.”
You try to call out to her, but she’s out the door before you can even muster a single word. Between what she thinks she saw and what the two PA’s may have heard, there was a very real possibility that you would no longer remain a faceless crew member. The crew was close-knit, and gossip had a way of making its way through everyone faster than wild-fire. All it will take is one slip of the tongue from one person, and your private life would be on full display.
Jared seems to have the same thought as you and swiftly moves into action. He walks you to his trailer, the only place you can get some semblance of privacy. Through your blurred vision, you can see various cast and crew members eyeing the two of you, and you try not to care about what they may be thinking. Jared’s trailer is warm and inviting as a trailer can be, a leather couch sitting opposite an electric fireplace and large TV. You’ve spent enough time in Jensen’s trailer, to know there’s a small bedroom through a closed door down a small walkway. You’re slightly uncomfortable being alone with Jared in his trailer, the two of you had never really spent any time alone together, and this was already an awkward situation at best.
Jared has always been a warm and inviting person, but you’ve always maintained a certain distance from him. You’d already spent enough time with Jensen to cause a raised eyebrow or two, but you and he were able to chalk it up to your past friendship. Misha seemed to be the only person to not completely buy your “friends” excuse, gently and subtly warning you of a rumor he’d overheard only a few months ago. Both you and Jensen took more precautions, and spent little to no time alone on the set anymore; the last thing either of you wanted was to be outed in your relationship.
You plop down onto the large couch, wrapping your arms around yourself, as Jared reaches into his fridge and pulls out a bottle of water, walking it over to you. You smile slightly as you take the bottle from his hand and let your eyes meet his. You can see the questions written all over Jared’s face, but you know he won’t ask them, whatever Jensen did or didn’t tell him, it’s clear that he’s put the true nature of your relationship together.
You’re the first to break the silence, trying desperately to defend yourself, wanting him to understand that you weren’t just some homewrecker. Jared listens intently as you explain his and Megan’s arrangement, rather, former arrangement, and how you were too blind to see the relationship for what it really was. Jared’s face remains soft, and you're thankful that he doesn't shame you, clearly seeing that you are already dealing with your own feelings of guilt and heartbreak. You expect Jared to come to the defense of his friend, to take his side and tell you how dumb you’re being, but he doesn’t, he only offers you words of comfort.
“He’s an idiot,” Jared shakes his head and gives you a warm smile. “He can’t see all the good that’s in front of him.”
You let out a small laugh and roll your eyes, he can, you think, he just won’t do anything about it.
“Between me and you,” Jared looks around as if someone could be listening. “I’ve never understood what Ackles sees in her. They would fight all the time, this one time, she comes to set, and accuses him of cheating– makes this huge scene in front of the whole crew; Kripke had to practically ban her from visiting anymore. Jeff joked that they must have amazing make up sex or something, ‘cause just a couple months later they’re engaged.”
“She’s pregnant,” you murmur, Jared sighs and nods. “That’s why they’re still together.” You can’t hide the bitterness in your voice, it was something you’d always thought, but never said out loud. Jared looks shocked by your candor, maybe Jensen didn’t share as much about his life with Megan than you thought. “Before she got pregnant, he was going to leave, ask for a divorce,” you think back to a conversation you’d had with Jensen six months ago.
Filming on the first few episodes had wrapped, meaning that the cast and crew had a five day break until production started up again. For Jensen, this meant going back to Austin while you stayed in Vancouver. What you weren’t expecting was Jensen showing up on your doorstep in the middle of the night on the second day, it wasn’t out of the ordinary for him to do such a thing while filming, but he wasn’t even supposed to be in the country. Anger radiated off of him as you invited him in, you watched, unable to do anything else, as he paced the floor of your living room, muttering to himself. You caught a few words as he walked in circles; Megan, liar, can’t be happy, Y/N. It was clear that he and Megan had fought, and from what you could gather, it seemed to be about you. Hours later, when he’d calmed down, he told you he was going to do it, he was finally going to leave her.
“Now, with the baby, he doesn’t think it’s right to leave, even though half the time he’s miserable. A couple of weeks ago we got into a fight when I asked him to come clean to Megan, he refused, so I ended it. Today, he was trying to convince me to take him back, but I told him he had to choose: me or Megan, I thought–” You hate yourself for giving in so easily, for only hearing what you wanted to hear. “He made his choice a long time ago, and I’ve been too blind to see it.”
Two Weeks Later
Two days, you remind yourself, as you arrive on set for the last day of shooting, two days, and Jensen will be back in Austin. You’ll have three months, three months, until shooting starts again, if the show gets picked up for another season, three months to no longer be helplessly, stupidly, in love with a man who can’t or won’t reciprocate.
Jared had proven to be a quick friend, somehow managing to balance both his friendship with you and with Jensen. Once you arrive home, a long, hot shower helps wash the day away, and you crawl into bed, determined to put the day behind you. Your phone chimes as you get comfortable, and you see a text from a number you don’t recognize.
< I stole your number from the crew call sheet, I hope you don’t mind.
> That depends. Who is this?
You laugh as a picture of Jared, in what has to be his apartment, fills the screen.
>Thank you, Jared. I’ll be okay.
A small chuckle leaves you as you shake your head, and you put your phone on the bedside table, letting sleep consume you as you try to keep Jensen out of your thoughts. When you arrive on set, you notice Gina eyeing you suspiciously, watching every move you make between Jensen and Jared. This is why you’d been so careful in the past, and now, your personal life seems to be on wide display for all to see. The boys talk amongst themselves, and you do your best to not engage, knowing that Leah has been watching you like a hawk since walking on the hug you shared with Jared.
You keep your composure as best you can, and allow both girls to work on Jensen and Jared, you’d be the one to finalize the make-up on location anyway. A full day of being on location with Jensen normally would be fun, and if you were lucky,
You watch intently as Jared mimes hitting Jensen, before you have to apply some prosthetics to his face. When Steve calls cut, everything moves quickly, and Jensen is ushered into a chair in front of you. You can see Jared from the corner of your eye, but when Jake approaches him, he moves his attention away from you.
“Y/N,” Jensen whispers, his hand reaches out to gently squeeze your arm. Your eyes focus on all the crew surrounding you, “I just– can you let me explain? Please, swee–”
“Don’t.” You shake your head, scowling as you yank your arm away. This wasn’t the time or the place for him to explain anything, not that it mattered to you anymore. His decision seemed very clear, and you’re not going to let him keep playing you.
“Everything alright over here, Y/N?” Steve approaches, he must’ve seen your seemingly random act of aggression, and you curse yourself for letting your anger get the better of you.
“Everything’s fine,” you smile, turning to face Steve and see Jared make his way towards you. Crap. “If someone doesn’t manage to stay still, they’re going to get glue in their eye,” you laugh slightly and Jensen gives a small shrug.
“Listen to Y/N, Jensen,” Steve scolds him playfully. Jared makes a comment about keeping him in line, and you hope that Steve doesn’t catch all the unspoken words going on between you, Jared, and Jensen. Jared helps break the tension, and is true to his word, keeps Jensen focused on the scene. While you continue working on Jensen, you can hear the ridiculous line of “ass-butt” being delivered by Misha, and it takes most of your willpower to not double over in laughter.
Jensen doesn’t attempt to speak to you again, and once you're finished you call Steve to approve the final look, and Jensen takes his place back on the ground. As you watch the rest of the scene play out, you're fascinated by Jared. Watching him go from Lucifer to Sam, you wonder why he doesn’t get more recognition for his roles.
As the sun sets Steve calls a wrap on the day, and you remind yourself that you just have to get through one more, and you can start moving forward. Season six hadn't officially been given a greenlight yet, and at this point you aren't sure if you would want to come back even if it was. You have more experience now, you can easily get a job with another production. You also had no real reason to stay in Vancouver anymore, especially if the show wasn't picked up. You'd done some work on a pilot, but the show was set to be filmed in Georgia, that would be nice, being closer to your family. More importantly it would get you far away from Jensen. You wouldn't have to worry about him "accidently" bumping into you if the show got picked up.
Jared and Jensen ride back to the soundstage with Cliff, and you can’t even imagine what’s being said or not said between them. You meet Jared at his trailer, something that had become a bit of a habit over the last two weeks, ready to leave the day behind you. Jared’s in the shower when a pounding comes on his door, and you’ve barely lifted yourself off the couch before the door swings open. Jensen comes storming in, smelling like he’d bathed in whiskey.
“Jared!” His voice is full of rage, you’d never heard him sound like this before. You scan him quickly, frozen in your place, Jensen’s face is red and eyebrows are furrowed. You hear the shower quickly turn off, and a mumble of one second bleed through the door. You notice Jensen’s clutching something in his hands, some sort of magazine. He doesn’t seem to notice you at first, until you clear your throat, which seems to make him even more angry. “JARED!”
“Ackles,” Jared quickly appears, a pair of sweats hanging low on his waist, his body still wet from the hastily ended shower. He locks eyes with you, and you can tell he’s just as confused as you are.
“You s-son of-of a bitch!” Jensen unrolls the magazine, causing Jared to turn his attention back to Jensen, and you catch a glimpse of the cover:‘Scandel of the set of Supernatural! Source claims one of the leads is having an affair with a crew member.’ Your heart falls into the pit of your stomach at the words. You and Jensen had been so careful, but clearly not careful enough. It’s then you realize that the two PA’s had more than likely heard the fight the two of you had only a week ago. “You th-thought you could ‘ide this from me? ‘ow could you betray me like this? B-both of you!”
“Jen,” Jared somehow maintains a calm demeanor, his eyes quickly darting towards you, as you both try to figure out what Jensen’s talking about. “What’s going on? What are you talking about?”
“You a-and Y/N! Ho-how long have you been fucking behind my back?!”
“We’re not–”
“‘Our source, a m’mber of the Supernatural crew, reportedly caught Jared Padalecki in an intimate moment with a female crew member,” Jensen reads from the magazine before tossing it to the floor. “You’re s’pposed to be my friend! And you’ve been-been fucking my girl, and you–” Jensen turns towards you. “All this-this time, telling me to-to come clean to Megan, to be honest, and you’ve been m-messing ‘round wif Jared like some f-fame wh-whore, gold-digging slut.”
Jensen’s words are like a slap to the face, and you do your best to conceal the tears pressing against your eyes. Jensen takes a stumbling step towards you, still spouting hurtful words, until Jared grabs him by the arm. While you’re sure Jensen would never physically hurt you, Jared doesn’t seem convinced of it, and yanks him backwards.
“G’t your hands off’a me!”
“Call Cliff, Y/N,” Jared gently orders, and you nod, reaching for your phone. “Tell him to come and take Jensen home.”
“I c-can get home by myself, I ain’t no f-fuckin’ kid,” Jensen tries to pull himself out of Jared’s grasp. “Wha you jus wanna go back to fuckin’ Y/N, dontcha?”
“You’re drunk, Jen.” Jared replies calmly, “go home and sleep it off. We’ll talk tomorrow.”
“Fuck you, we’ll ta-talk now!”
You’re on the phone with Cliff when Jensen throws the first punch at Jared. You ask him to hurry to Jared’s trailer as Jared blocks another hit. You quickly end the call as Jensen uses all of his strength to knock Jared down to the floor. Jensen attempts to land another blow, still throwing accusations. You close the distance between the boys, despite Jared’s warnings to stay away, that he can handle himself.
“Jay...” You say as calmly as you can, placing your hand on his shoulder.
Jensen shoves you away, knocking you onto the floor and your shoulder hits the corner of the coffee table, sending a sharp pain through your body, causing you to let out a cry.
Jared’s eyes are wide as they land on you, and it takes Jensen a few moments to realize what he’s done. “Y/N– I’m so-sorry,” Jensen attempts to move away from Jared, but Jared holds him in place. “Let go of me!” He demands, but Jared’s hold doesn’t waver, keeping him there for the minute or so it takes Cliff to arrive at his trailer.
Cliff, at first, doesn't seem to know what to do with the situation at hand, his eyes bouncing from you to Jared to Jensen. Jared asks him to help you first, helping you up onto unsteady feet, and making sure you’re okay. You give a half-shrug, unsure of how to answer, before he walks you out of Jared’s trailer and into a SUV. He checks with you one more time as you let the tears slip out, and makes his way back into the trailer.
A few minutes later another SUV pulls up in front of the one you’re in, and Cliff has a tight grip around Jensen’s shoulder as he puts him into the other car. It’s only then you notice the crowd of people gathered, snapping photos of Jensen, and of Jared when he walks out, bloodied and bruised.

The Ghost of Christmas Past
Summary: Arriving onto the set of a Christmas photoshoot, Jensen is faced with someone from his past. Characters: Jensen Ackles, Reader Pairing: Jensen x Reader Warnings: Slight Angst/Fluff Word Count: 1527 Square Filled: Christmas Photoshoot Bingo Card: @spnchristmasbingo
Check out: SPN Christmas Bingo Masterlist
Jensen groaned as the alarm on his phone chimed. Since the ending of Supernatural the last few months had been blissfully alarm free for him until his manager begged him to be part of a Entertainment Weekly Christmas special issue. He loved everyone at Entertainment Weekly and knew it would be great PR for his upcoming role in The Boys. Now, as he stared at his phone flashing the time, he was regretting ever agreeing to the photoshoot.
He pulled himself out of his comfy bed and made himself presentable to the outside world. His brown hair was longer falling into his eyes and the sides were highlighted with strands of silver and copper. Running his hands through it once, leaving it for hair and make-up would deal with it. He ran his hands down his scruffy beard that was more ginger than anything with specks of salt and pepper. He slipped on some joggers and a hoodie to make his way down to the lobby of his hotel.
As usually, the EW studios were chaotic with celebrities and journalists all around. He was ushered into a dressing room where his manager was waiting for him. They went over some talking points for his interview with Sam Highfill before the stylists came in to make him all pretty. They had him a rich forest green suit with cream color pinstripes and matching Oxford button down. Thankfully, they left the shirt unbuttoned at the top which meant no tie. He slipped on the glossy black dress boots and followed the assistant to the studio.
There were a few other former CW stars mingling about including Stephen Amell and David Ramsey. Jensen took a deep breath before putting on his professional mask socializing with everyone. It had been awhile since he spoke with Amell and genuinely enjoyed catching up with him. His new wrestling show, Heels, sounded intense, terrifying and a lot of fun. The studio door closed shut signaling the arrival of the photographer.
“Sorry everyone, we had a camera malfunction. I appreciate your patience.”
The moment her voice echoed throughout the room the hairs on his arms stood up and goosebumps spread down his skin. Memories of long drives to the beach and kissing under the stars flashing in his mind. He looked over to where she was setting up her tripod and though it had been over fifteen years since he last saw her she still made his heart race.
Her long legs were covered by tight denim with her traditional Chuck Taylors on her feet. A red and green flannel was tied loosely around her slender waist being held mostly by the curve of her hips. Her favorite band memorialized on her shirt. The memory of being front row with her and reaping the reward for enduring the god awful pop music later that night. The corner of his lips curling upward as his eyes traveled further up her body.
Her beautiful (Y/C/H) hair swept away from her face as she focused on the task at hand. Nimble, delicate fingers working over each knob of her camera. Glancing up is when her vibrant (Y/C/E) eyes met his and her full bottom lip disappeared beneath her teeth. She looked away quickly refocusing on her camera and assistant speaking to her. She must have known he would be here, that they would see one another. The memory of the last time they spoke dragging itself to the forefront of his mind. His shoulders slumped forward from the invisible guilt resting heavily on them.
“I’m going to take the group shots first then individual photos. Sam will come out to get you when she is ready for your interview. This is Rina, my assistant, and she will be helping me keep you all in line.”
There was a wave of laughter before Rina clapped her hands getting everyone on their marks. Jensen tried to shake off the memories of them and took his spot beside everyone else. His head snapping to her as she turned on her bluetooth speaker. Her favorite band piercing his ears, she giggled as he rolled her eyes.
As the photoshoot went on and he completed his interview with Sam. He walked back into the studio where it was empty except for her and him. She was looking down at her phone when he walked over to her.
“Hello (Y/N).”
Her eyes met his. An electrical current building around them. Standing, she extended her hand to him formally, professional.
“Hello Jensen, nice to see you again.”
A spark ignited as their hands clasped together. Each of them flinching from the suddenly tingling shooting up their arms. (Y/N) withdrew her hand and began to fiddle with her camera.
“I’m going to take a few headshots then finish up with some candids with the music playing. Sound good?”
He nodded, shoving the overwhelming urge to pull her to him to the deepest part of his core. (Y/N) moved around snapping pictures with the grace of a dancer mesmerizing him. With each touch posing him for various shots sent his body buzzing. She motioned for him to stand then the familiar tunes of Led Zeppelin filled the room.
“I figured I’ll get better photos with music you actually like.” (Y/N) stepped in front of him, slipping her hands beneath his jacket pushing it down his arms.
He held his breath, choking on the satisfying sigh that wanted to escape his lips. A breathy gasp escaping her own as her hands drifted over his toned arms. Chuckling, flashing her a smile that made her suck in a quick breath before her face shifted lowering the professional mask once again.
“You have free reign to move as you please and I will take the photos I need.”
A distant memory flew into mind of them camping one summer. He had driven her mad by simple, mindless movements that were natural to any one. Wanting to get her riled up, he started off easy by tapping his foot and hand to the beat. Bobbing his head from side to side and closing his eyes. He did not need to see her to know her eyes were on him. Beside the clicking of her camera, he could feel her intense stare making him bolder.
Walking around the small area, he played a little air drums parting his lips to mouth the words of the song. A small growl coming from (Y/N)’s direction adding fuel to his fire. The song was almost over so it was time for him to go big. One foot up on the small stool he had been sitting on, invisible mic in his hand, Jensen belted out the last chorus. As the song faded out, he looked over to see (Y/N)’s narrowed eyes on him. Her lips curled into a devious smirk with her arms crossed over her chest.
Then came the slowly building applause from behind her as the CW stars stood watching in awe of his performance. His cheeks burning brought a wider smile on her face. To see that smile was worth the embarrassment.
“Encore! Encore!” Stephen Amell called out as they all walked back into the hallway leading to the dressing rooms.
“Well played Ackles, well played.” She picked up his jacket handing it to him, “I have all the photos I need.”
There was a brief moment where they stood silently both waiting for the other to say something. (Y/N) grasped his hand for a moment, “Honestly, it was good to see you again.” She pressed her soft lips to his cheek before leaving the room quickly.
Two weeks had gone by, Jensen found himself thinking about (Y/N) every moment he could. Desperate to reach out to her but not know the best way to go about it. Sitting in his office, daydreaming about her for the millionth time the front doorbell rang. Opening the door, immediately froze in place. There she stood as if he had materialized her from his thoughts.
“Are you going to invite me in or just stare at me?”
He stammered, “Y-Yeah, of course, come in. I’m just surprised to see you.”
“Yeah, two weeks of you plaguing my mind was enough for me…”
He did not let her finish before his hand slipped behind her head bringing her lips to his. Her body tensing before molding into his returning his advance passionately. Pulling away from her, Jensen rested his forehead against hers.
“I should have never let you go in the first place. I should have stood my ground with my managers then and rejected their ridiculous assumptions. I’m so sorry.”
The soft pads of her thumbs brushed away the wayward tears sliding down his cheeks, “I forgave you a long time ago Jensen. All that matters now is what we do moving forward.”
He brought his hand up to her cheek, (Y/N) leaning into his touch, “Right now, I’m going to kiss you again.”
Her brilliant smile took his breath away, “I think that is a good step to take.”

(GIF’s not mine.)
Damn it. Your hand was shaking so badly, your pregnancy test fell on the floor. You nervously clung to the sink and nausea set in. There it goes again. The little blue plus was blurring in front of your eyes and your pale reflection was looking at you from the mirror. The next moment, you plunged into the toilet cabin and threw up. The smell of the toilet stone rose into your nose and made you choke once more.
A baby. A fucking baby. A little, little human was growing inside your womb. One of your hands lay on your stomach. Of course, nothing could be seen or felt yet, but you felt as if you could feel the presence of the tender being under your touch. It made you overjoyed, even if it had not been intended. But how did one say? Unexpected often comes. You would become a mother! You had to tell that the father right away!
But here we came to your problem. You had no idea who the father was. Well, you didn't know exactly who the father was. That both men were also the most popular actors in America was a further difficulty.
Suddenly, you were overcome with fear. How would they react to this news? Would they be happy? Or hate you? Exhausted by the merry-go-round of thoughts in your head, you leaned against the white door of the cabin. Your arm was still hanging over the toilet and your head was resting in the neck. The most important question was, who would you rather want as father of the child? Jensen Ackles? Or would you prefer Jared Padalecki?
A knocking sounded at the door to the toilet and tore you out of your thoughts. A voice rang out and cut the silence. It was the voice of your young PA. "Y/N? You are expected in 15min in the mask! Also Jensen asked for you. And Jared wanted to go over your lines with you." The names of the two possible fathers made you close your eyes in agony.
"I'll be right there." you shouted and flushed the toilet before opening the door and rinsing your mouth to wash the stale taste off your tongue. Then you energetically pushed the door open - and promptly ran into Jensen.
"There you are!" Jensen greeted you. Then he checked you out. "What were you doing in there so long?" You panicked for a moment, then you got it together again. "What you do in the toilet, Jensen. I don't think you want me to elaborate." He laughed and gave you a kiss on the cheek like you used to do when you were alone. You were going to tell him now. You wanted it to be over so badly.
"I - Jensen, I have to talk to you." you muttered as his soft lips brushed across your cheek. He smiled warmly at you. "Sure, what is it about?" he asked curiously and looked at you attentively. You dodged his gaze and tugged nervously at your sleeve.
"I - oh, god." You broke off and hid your face in your hands. Instantly, Jensen's expression changed to anxious. "What is it, Y/N?" Gently, he knelt and took your hands off your face. Immediately you looked into his apple-green eyes and inside of you the desire grew for the baby to have his eyes. These endless green orbs that managed to captivate you every time you looked at them.
"I'm pregnant, Jay." you muttered almost silently, but judging by his shocked look, he understood you perfectly. Then a smile spread across his lips and his green eyes sparkled. "I'm going to be a father?" he asked incredulously. His face shone and you hated yourself for your next words. You were wrong. The hardest thing was yet to come. "Y-you - or Jared." "I... Wait. What?!" The glow disappeared from his face as quickly as it had come. "Jared? Y/N. I know we don't have a steady thing, but I would have thought at least -" He interrupted himself and his face became hard. "Where is he?" He growled. "Jensen, no!" You tried to grab Jensen's arm, but he already rushed to Jared's trailer.
"You! You slept with her?" you heard Jensen's angry voice. "I - what? What are you talking about? What is this all about, Jay?" came Jared's confused voice. "Y/N. She's pregnant! And one of us is the father." growled the elder as he burst in the door. You ran after him, but he had already pressed Jared against the wall by his collar
"What?! But how? Wait... One of us?!" repeated Jared in disbelief. You flinched at his comment. Then he spotted you in the doorway and looked at you with disappointment. "You were the one who slept with her," Jensen growled without paying attention to you. You begged them to stop, but no one listened to you. "Oh! Don't give me that, Jensen! You slept with her, too!" hissed Jared, before he pushed Jensen away and adjusted his collar. Desperation came over you. That's what you were afraid of. Your biggest dream had just turned into a living nightmare. "Boys. Boys! Stop it. Please!" You kept begging. Hot tears ran down your cheeks as you tried to pull Jensen from Jared, but the former simply tore off his arm so that you stumbled after him. "Stop it!" But it was only a soft whimper as Jensen ducked away from Jared's fist. You hadn't wanted any of this, the little squirt in your stomach was about to ruin your life. Because its fathers were a bunch of idiots. You never wanted to be the reason that those two men's friendship ended! You knew you had to go. This was pointless. They were better off without you and the baby.
"I love you both," you whispered in tears, one hand over your stomach. You left the trailer with one last look at the two fighting fathers. A taxi took you as far away from the set as possible. You had no idea that they had both heard your last words.
Jared was pacing back and forth in the living room. Jensen sat at the table in the room, looking at the bottom of his whiskey glas. He watched as the ice cubes floated around in the clear, brown liquid before he threw his head back and swallowed its contents. "She's been missing for two months, Jensen," Jared murmured and ruffled his hair.
Jensen poured himself a drink and looked at the little picture in his hand. It was an ultrasound image that you sent to them weeks ago. It was a little girl.Jensen couldn't tell how many times he had stroked the little bean in the picture with his index finger. The spot had faded in the meantime and the photo was wrinkled because he always carried it with him. He had emptied the whiskey bottle completely by the end of the evening.
You'd been on your own for three months. You were in your ninth month and staying with a well-known actor friend Sarah in New York. The baby was doing great and growing into a healthy little person. The contractions had already started and you were in a white hospital bed while a nurse talked you through it. The pain almost tore your body apart. Suddenly the door to the room opened and two men, whom you thought you would never see again, burst into the room in green scrubs. Just as another contraction shook your body.
"Now push, Y/N!" Said the nurse, and you did what you were told. A scream escaped your throat and sweat ran down your forehead, but you couldn't take your eyes off the two most important men in your life. "Jensen. Jared. You are here - h-how did you--" Another contraction interrupted you and hissed. "Sarah. She told us. We came as fast as we could." said Jared and rushed to your side. He grabbed your hand and flinched as you squeezed it hard, yet he stayed with you. Jensen watched the whole scene frozen. Panic filled his green eyes. But he also stayed bravely with you. Soon the last contraction came and suddenly you heard a shattering scream! Your little daughter had just seen the light of day. The midwife took her at once, cleaned her, weighed her and laid her wrapped in a blanket in your arms. She was the most wonderful thing you had ever seen in your life and you felt the love for this little creature overpower you. She slept peacefully and exhausted in your arms. Jensen and Jared stood by your bed in awe and looked at the little bundle with loving looks.
"We were idiots. We are sorry. It doesn't matter who the father is, the most important thing is that you're okay. You and the baby." mumbled Jensen as you put the baby in his arms. Gently, he held the little head and Jared placed a kiss on the daughter's head.
Jared cleared his throat embarrassed as he stroked a strand from your forehead. Jensen only had eyes for the little girl in his arms. "W-who is the father?" He asked, but you just shook your head. "I'm not going to run a paternity test. Because it doesn't matter which one of you is the father, because I know she'll have the best fathers in the world."

You still had trouble believing it. You won. You had actually won the competition and got two free gold passes along with plane tickets to Texas where the next Supernatural convention was going to be. At first you thought that it had to be a mistake, there was no way that out of the thousands of people who entered, you were the winner. The competition was who could do the best cover of “Simple Man” and whoever would win was awarded free tickets for them and a friend to come sing live at the convention along with Jensen Ackles. At first you were somewhat disappointed entering the competition, not confident in your singing skills, thinking you were setting yourself up to lose, but after your best friend F/N hyped you up, you decided, why not? You guys had been watching Supernatural together for the past eight years and the both of you had huge crushes on both Jensen and Jared, the former being yours.
You had initially found out when you got an email from creation saying that you were the lucky winner of their competition. There was even a little message from Jensen Ackles himself! He said that he loved your version of the song and was looking forward to seeing you sing at the convention. You blushed fiercely at that, not being able to comprehend that Jensen Ackles, Dean Winchester, actually liked your voice! You were so thrilled that right after reading the email, you instantly called F/N, “OMG F/N GUESS WHAT,” you started, right after she answered, “What Y/N? What happened??” she replied. “I WON THE COMPETITION!!” you screamed, “OMG ARE YOU SERIOUS?!?!” she screamed back. Both of you erupted in a fit of squeals and screams at the amazing news. F/N already knew that you were going to bring her along, you had promised you would since she was the one who convinced you to enter the competition. Not even five minutes after hanging up the phone, both of you rushed to start packing, the flight being in two days.
Two days later you both met up at the airport brimming with excitement at your trip. Along with getting the gold passes, they even set you guys up in the hotel they were running the con in! F/N almost passed out finding out that she was going to be sleeping in the same building as Jared. Six hours later, with both of you not managing to get a lick of sleep on the flight, you finally landed in Texas, a chauffeur waiting for the both of you to take you to the hotel. F/N made a joke about being “royalty” after the man offered to take our bags, resulting in a laughing fit between the two of you while the driver politely smiled. On the way to the hotel, “Carry On Wayward Son” came on the radio, you and F/N could not stop the instant eye contact and you couldn’t hold yourself back from asking the driver to turn up the music. After a slight nod and a kind smile, he turned the music up, both you and F/N started singing along with huge smiles on your faces, laughing at the coincidence of this exact song playing now. F/N loved hearing you sing, it was the reason she told you to enter the competition, saying, “You're going to knock it out of the park Y/N.” For this reason, when the chorus came, she stopped singing and let you take the spotlight, you of course, traversed too deeply into the song to notice, kept singing at the top of your lungs.
“Carry on my wayward son, there’ll be peace when you are done, lay your weary head to rest, don’t you cry no more.” you sang with all of your heart, not noticing F/N’s proud gaze and shocked but pleased expression on the drivers. Also missing his mumbled, “No wonder she won the competition.”
After about half an hour, you had arrived at the hotel, both you and F/N beaming with excitement. After getting your bags from the back of the car, you walked into the reception with a spring in your steps and it seemed like you were...a celebrity? Everyone had instantly noticed you and seemed to recognize you, with a slightly confused expression from you and F/N making eye contact, you slowly made your way over to the reception desk.
“Hi, my name is Y/F/N Y/L/N, I’m... the contest winner?” you greeted warily.
“Hi! Yes, we have been expecting you, if you would, please follow me to your rooms.” the lady returned with a sweet smile. After you and F/N exchanged a look, you both followed the lady to your rooms.
“Here we are, room 149, here are your gold passes ladies, try not to lose them but if you do we can just give you guys another replacement.” she said with a face that made you think that had happened before multiple times.
“Thank you for showing us to our rooms! When does the first activity start?” asked F/N, eager to know when she was going to meet her hero.
“The first activity is the cast panel at 10am, then the photo op will be at 11:30am. There will be other panels and activities but I think that you girls would like to go to Jensen and Jared’s intimate panel?” she asked with a knowing look on her face. F/N couldn’t keep the smile and almost painfully fast nod she gave in return. After a slight chuckle from the lady she replied, “Their intimate panel will be at 1pm, so you girls will have plenty of time to freshen up and the like beforehand.” At this you let out a grateful sigh, there was no way you were going to show your face to Jensen not looking the best you could. After a grateful nod from you and F/N, you walked into your room, leading to the both of you gasping audibly. There were two king sized beds with what seemed like a million blankets and pillows and a large window with an amazing view. The bathroom was stocked up with several condiments and a hairdryer, you almost felt bad that F/N packed hers but she didn’t pay it any mind.
“Omg Y/N can you believe this? We really are living the royalty life!” she yelled out from the bathroom as you were feeling the unbelievably soft pillows on the bed. You gave yourself a mental note to try and steal one for yourself after the con.
“I know! This is unbelievable, I can’t believe I actually won the competition and that we are here right now.” you said, disbelief lacing your tone.
“Y/N, you are the most talented person I have ever met, I had no doubt that you were going to win the competition, hell, I had already started packing the second you submitted your video.” she replied, with an honest smile. That’s what you loved about F/N, she always believed in you and lifted your spirits whenever you were feeling sad. You were infinitely grateful to her. “I don’t think I’ve said it enough but thank you Y/N, without you, I wouldn’t be here hours away from seeing my lifelong love.. thank you.” she said, wiping away some tears that escaped. You smiled, then started chuckling, not being able to believe your best friends behavior. “We did it together, if you didn’t convince me to send that video, this wouldn’t have happened.” you replied honestly. “Yeah I guess you're right... I am awesome.” she said with a proud smile on her face. You shook your head with a smile at her antics. “Alright come on let’s get ready! The first panel starts in thirty minutes!” at that you panicked, forgetting the time. “Oh crap your right, LET'S GET THIS SHOW ON THE ROAD!!” you both yelled out, pumping your fists together. After sharing a laugh at that, the both of you started getting ready, F/N going with the hot biker look, apparently trying to woo her moose. You still couldn’t believe how beautiful F/N was, she could wear anything and make it look like the hottest new fashion, you admit, it made you kind of jealous but F/N always assured you that she was nothing compared to you. Many people have always called you pretty and beautiful but you were pretty self-deprecating, always offering a thanks with a shy smile but never really believing them. You opted for the classic hunter’s outfit, jeans and a flannel, however, you put your hair up into a ponytail and put on some light makeup, too much always seemed kinda gross for you, not wanting to look like a barbie doll.
After spritzing on some perfume, you and F/N made your way to the elevator around 9:45, wanting to get there a bit early to get some good seats, even though both of you had gold passes which were basically front row seats guaranteed. You guys were in such a hurry that the both of you hit walls of solid muscle and almost fell if it weren’t for the warm pair of hands catching the both of you at the waist. You were about to start apologizing profusely for not paying attention to where you were going until you looked up at your saviors eyes and couldn’t believe who they belonged to.

Acting Your Age (Part 1)
Summary: At a family gathering, the reader finally meets her brother Jared’s long time co-star Jensen...
Pairing: Jensen x reader
Masterlist
Square: Jared Padalecki
Word Count: 2,800ish
Warnings: language, slight flangst, age gap
A/N: Written for @spndeanbingo
“Hey,” said Jared, pulling you out of the kitchen and into the backyard. “I got somebody I want you to meet.”
He dragged you after him across the patio and over to the pool, plopping you in front of your other brother and Jensen, Jared’s former co-star of the past fifteen years.
“Ackles, I know this may blow your mind but this is little Y/N,” said Jared, Jensen’s face turning into a big smirk.
“Oh, I’ve seen the pictures. Last time I saw one you looked like you were twelve,” said Jensen with a laugh.
“Mhm,” you hummed, trying to back out of there when Jared caught your arm. You frowned up at him and he pushed you back at Jensen, your brothers wandering off over towards the grill. “You’re taller than I thought you’d be.”
“I get that a lot,” he chuckled. “Sorry. I was just teasing. I’ve known Jared’s had a baby sister for fifteen years but never actually met you.”
“I’m not big on the whole...limelight thing,” you said. “He keeps me out of it thankfully.”
“I get that. Jare says you’ve been living in England the past few years since you finished college,” said Jensen. “What was that like?”
“Interesting. I was ready to come home. Although it is a joy to be living with your brother as an adult again,” you said. “Jared offered to let me stay in one of the guest rooms.”
“So you’ll be around more often it sounds like then,” he said, giving you a smile.
“Mhm. Jared’s home more now, a lot more. He’s ten years older. I’d like to get to know my brother and family a bit better,” you said. Jensen nodded, tilting his head. “What?”
“You remind me of him,” he said. “In a certain way.”
“It doesn’t take a genius to figure out I wasn’t planned,” you said with a smile.
“Still. It doesn’t mean your family doesn’t want you around,” he said. “They always talk about how they miss you at these parties and stuff.”
“I was always the annoying teenager while everyone else had adult stuff to talk about,” you said.
“I see. You better stick with me then, little Pads,” he said. You raised an eyebrow and he chuckled. “Hi. Jensen. Single and probably going to die alone.”
“No you’re not. You’re hot,” you said.
“Speak for yourself,” he said. “The oddballs should stick together is all I’m saying.”
“You’re like my brothers best friend,” you said.
“Exactly. I know everything you could want to know about him,” said Jensen. “Ask all of your burning questions.”
“He’s always so grr around me. I figured it was him being too protective. He was such an ass as a babysitter,” you said an hour later, sitting with your feet in the pool.
“He does get that way but it means he cares about ya,” said Jensen, wiggling his toes in the pool water.
“I would hope he does,” you laughed, kicking your feet some, Jensen bumping your foot with his own. “You’re alright for someone over the hill.”
“You called me hot earlier, kiddo,” teased Jensen. “Jared said you have a track record of dating beyond your years.”
“British guys. British guys are way different,” you said. “And it was always over like that anyways.”
“Sounds like somebody screwed up,” said Jensen, taking a sip of his beer.
“He was great when it was only the two of us. He always acted embarrassed of me though when we went out with other people. Kinda made me feel like I was stupid for not knowing shit about a country I didn’t even grow up in too,” you said.
“Word of advice,” said Jensen with a smile. “Don’t date people that make you feel bad about yourself. Or do shit like that. A partner’s supposed to be someone you can be your weirdest with and they still love you. It’s not a guy like that.”
“I know,” you said, kicking your feet slowly. “I’m gonna be a dog lady. I know it. Just like one but that’s gonna be me.”
“I got a dog,” said Jensen. “They can play together at least.”
“Why you trying to cheer me up, Jensen? My brother put you up to babysitting me?” you asked.
“I have a sneaking suspicion Jared is trying to set us up,” he said. You stared at him and laughed, Jensen forcing a smile on his face.
“You’re serious,” you said, turning back toward the patio where Jared was sitting. “What...why?”
“I don’t know. He probably wants us to be friends now that you’re in town, since we’ll probably be seeing each other a lot,” he said.
“Right,” you said, pulling your feet out of the pool. “I’ll be back.”
You walked around the pool and up to the patio, poking Jared in the shoulder.
“Hey,” he said, turning back when you poked him again. “What?”
“Can I talk to you alone?” you asked. He stood up and you found a quiet corner just around the side of his house. “You shouldn’t force Jensen to try and be my friend.”
“Huh?”
“The dude doesn’t have to hang out with me cause I don’t know a lot of people here. Is that why you invited him tonight?” you asked.
“I invited him because he’s my friend and I thought you guys might get along...where is this coming from?” he asked.
“Jensen thinks you’re trying to set us up,” you said, crossing your arms.
“Yeah, I am,” he said, your eyes wide. “What? You always liked older guys and I’m sure you find him attractive.”
“He is fifteen freaking years older than me, Jared,” you said. “And a well known actor and why on earth do you think we would fit?”
“Why are you always so hung up on what other people think?”
“That’s rich coming from you,” you shot back. You saw Jensen walk up the path on the side of the house, giving you both a wave.
“I’m uh, gonna head home,” he said, handing your beer to you as he went past. “Night.”
“Jay-”
“I’ll text you tomorrow. We’ll take the boat out or something,” he said.
He left quickly and Jared sighed, running his hand through his hair.
“Why do you have to be like this?” asked Jared.
“I’m going back to mom and dad’s,” you said, shoving your beer in his hand and storming out to the driveway, Jensen halfway into his truck.
“You alright?” he asked.
“Perfect,” you grumbled.
“You want to grab a drink?” he asked.
“You don’t have to hang out with me, Jensen,” you said. He frowned and leaned over the hood of his truck.
“Come on. My place is right around the corner,” he said. You mumbled but walked over and got in his passenger side, staring at him as he drove for two minutes, quickly pulling into a driveway of a house you were positive was as nice as your brother’s. “You look like you could use a stiff drink.”
“Is this what you do?” you said as you climbed out and stared following him through the front door.
“Well I figured you look like you want to get wasted and this is a much safer place to do it than some bar,” he said. You shut your mouth as you followed him inside, following his lead to kick off your flip flops by the door. He wandered over to a small bar and grabbed two glasses and a bottle of whiskey from the looks of it, waving you out to a back porch area. You took a seat and he poured you a double, making his own drink before he settled in beside you.
You took a long drink, his gaze on you as you swallowed it down. You shook your head a few times and he broke out into a laugh.
“That’s some strong stuff. I’m impressed,” he said.
“Why do I always get like that? You know, why does he always get like that?” you said, Jensen raising an eyebrow. “He started it.”
“You know how I said you reminded me of Jared. I meant that whole...Jared not thinking he’s good enough sometimes thing,” said Jensen.
“I got no problems with that,” you said.
“Oh, well, that’s good,” said Jensen.
“I’m not a child,” you said.
“I didn’t say you were. I called ya kiddo cause it’s a nickname, that’s all,” he said. You pursed your lips and sunk lower into your seat, exhaling deeply. “You don’t gotta talk about anything if you don’t want to. We can just sit here.”
So you did, for close to the next hour not a word was spoken as you got a refill and Jensen found one of his sweatshirts inside for you to wear when it started to get cool outside.
“Hey Jared,” said Jensen when his phone rang, your eyes narrowing as you rested your chin on your knees. “Yeah I’m with Y/N at my place. I’ll drop her off if she wants me to later. It’s looking like she’s probably crashing in the guest room though...mhm, later.”
“I don’t have to stay here, Jensen,” you said.
“Well neither one of us should be driving,” he said.
“I shouldn’t have drunk that much,” you said, rubbing your head.
“You know what your problem is?” he said.
“Oh, this’ll be good,” you said.
“You try to be older than you are. You always thought you had to be more mature to fit in I bet and being mature means responsible. I bet you have zero fun in your life,” he said.
“You’re kind of a dick,” you said.
“But am I wrong?” he said.
You didn’t say anything, only nuzzled your cheek against the fleece sweatshirt.
“I think you might enjoy life a bit more if you stopped trying so hard to fit in and just did what you wanted instead,” he said.
“Well it’s kind of hard when pretty much everyone in your life is at least ten years older than you. My family, the people I work with...I’m always the kid,” you said.
“Is that why you date older guys?” he asked.
“No,” you said, crossing your arms, giving him a sideways glance. “Older guys tend to be more mature is all. There’s no games. There’s no need to say we’re exclusive cause that’s fucking stupid that you even need to say that nowadays.”
“Plus we’re probably better in bed,” he said with a chuckle.
“And there’s that,” you said with a soft smile.
“Kiddo,” said Jensen.
“Jens,” you said, giving him a side eye.
“Let me walk you home,” he said.
“Throwing me out?” you asked.
“No but you should go talk to your brother,” he said. “Come on. We’ll talk tomorrow, I promise.”
“Sorry I was kind of a bitch,” you said, looking up through your eyelashes at Jared when you got home.
“Sorry I was a dick,” he said back. “I shouldn’t have-”
“You’re right. I care too much about what other people think of me, including my own family. I think I need to be a certain way and that’s not good for me. I need to just be me,” you said.
“You figured that out a lot quicker than I did,” he said.
“Jensen’s had a lot of practice with you,” you said.
“True,” he said with a smile. “It’d be nice to know what the real you is like. Not the one always listening to NPR or reading up on the stock market.”
“I freaking hate NPR,” you laughed. “I’m never listening to that again.”
“Good. We’ll take the boat out tomorrow and have some fun.”
“That’s your gas,” said Jensen sat behind you the next day on his jet ski. “Brake. Kill switch if you got to turn off the engine. That’s your reverse. She’s full of gas so just hit the-”
You squeezed the trigger and jolted forward, Jensen immediately wrapping his arms around you. You stopped and giggled, Jensen adjusting himself as he wrapped a loose arm around your waist.
“Very funny,” he teased. You hit the gas more slowly before you got up to a faster speed, Jensen patting your arm when he wanted you to let off or slow it down but you got the hang of it quickly.
You were out there for hours and he never once asked for a turn, instead he just hung on and enjoyed the ride. Eventually you did head back though, running into Jared on the boat and saying you’d meet up for dinner at six. You managed to slip the jet ski back into the dock with a little guidance from Jensen, letting him pull you up onto the dock.
“Somebody had fun today,” he said with a smile as you undid your lifejacket and he tossed it in the bin along with his own.
“I wish I had one,” you said.
“Anytime you want to use it, come on over,” he said. “You’re really good on that thing.”
“Hey, Jensen,” you asked as you started to follow him up the steps to his yard. “Feel free not to answer this but why are you single?”
“Because I spent a lot of time working the past fifteen years and it was hard to find someone that liked the real me,” he said. “Not what I could do for them.”
“You did something for me,” you said.
“You’re different,” he said, waving you off as you started to walk across his backyard. “That wasn’t help you land a role or get a job or buy you some expensive crap. That was helping you as a person. That I’ll always be okay with.”
“Well your show is done. Can’t you get back out there?” you asked.
“Yeah. Like I said, just hard to find someone that likes me,” he said with a shrug. “Why do you ask?”
“No reason,” you said.
“You thinking of asking me out, kiddo?” he smirked.
“You wish, Ackles,” you said, whacking his arm.
“Maybe I do,” he teased, parting ways when you headed around for the front of the house and your car. “Hey, Y/N. The kiddo thing, if it bothers you-”
“It...doesn’t,” you said, a grin crossing his face. “Shut up, Jens.”
“Whatever you say, kiddo,” he laughed. “I’ll swing by around 5:30 to pick you up?”
“I was probably going to just ride with my brother and Gen...and three small children and a ride would be much appreciated,” you said, Jensen chuckling.
“Hey, Y/N?” he said after a moment, voice a little off. “After dinner, you want to come over and hang out?”
“This sounds really stupid but would you want to...go mini golfing after?” you asked with a wince. He broke out into a big smile and you instantly relaxed.
“It doesn’t sound stupid at all,” he said, stepping over closer to you. “And don’t start your sentences with calling yourself stupid, hm?”
“If that some words of wisdom thing?” you asked.
“That’s a Jensen wants Y/N to be nice to herself thing,” he said. You stared at him, giving him a small nod. “I’ll see you soon.”
He stood there a moment before he pecked a kiss on your cheek, his face flush as he pulled back.
“Uh, later,” he said, waving as he spun around and you bit your bottom lip. You spun around yourself and turned right into your car, letting out a whoof. “You okay?”
“Awesome,” you said, giving him a thumbs up.
“Would hate to have seen what you would have done if I’d properly kissed you,” he said. You turned around and put your hands on your hips.
“Which one of us was just blushing like a school boy, hm?” you said.
“Shut up, kiddo,” he laughed. “I’ll see you soon.”
“See you soon, Ackles.”

Chapter 1: Enchanted
Walker Set
Jared's P.O.V.
Y/N damn is she gorgeous. I wish I could ask her out but I know she's got her hands full. She doesn't have time to do things between her role here on Walker as D.A. Allison Finney. Her main priority is her daughter Emery.
A hand waved in front of my face interrupts my thoughts.
"Jared, you are staring at my mom again. Just go ask her out." Emery said.
"She doesn't have time to date Em. She's got bigger priorities." I retorted.
"For fuck’s sake Jared stop using that lame-ass excuse. Now just go.” Emery said.
" Fine, I will. You've got quite a mouth for a 14-year-old." I replied.
"What do you expect, you know who my dad is?” Emery retorted.
She leaves me sitting there while she walks off toward the wardrobe department. With her iced tea in hand of course. Em looks mostly like Y/N. They even share the same hair colour Y/H/C but she’s got Jeff’s attitude that’s for sure.
I reluctantly knocked on Y/N’s trailer door. She swiftly opens it and greets me with a smile. She looks gorgeous dressed in that white dress shirt and black dress pants. All ready for filming today.
Y/N gestures to me to come in.
“So Jared, what can I do for you?” Y/N asked in between her sips of iced tea.
She places a soothing hand on top of mine. As if she sensed my nerves.
"I'd like to ask you out," I said. Before I lost the nerve to ask Y/N.
"Sure, I'd love to come to my place at 8:05 pm tonight. Oh, look at the time we've got scenes to film." Y/N said.
She places a kiss on my cheek before heading out.
I rub my cheek before following her out. Did that really just happen or was it a dream?
A ping from my phone confirms it wasn't a dream. There right in front of me is her address.

With Him By My Side
Request: Jensen reader where she is 22 and they fall in love he is her first everything and he is very protective of her on night there’s a thunder and she is scared and he takes care of her. People say that she is a gold digger but he is at a con and says the he never loved someone the way he loves the reader...(there’s some more but you get the gist)
Pairing: Jensen x reader (my first woo!)
A/N: This took me forever and I didn’t have the best week so just thank you to @webcraft4eveh for tagging me in things just to cheer me up it always makes me week @wonderfulworldofwinchester for putting some of my fics on her reading list it really got me a ton more notes and @thebooklover2020 for the gifs! You guys really reminded me that people do enjoy my writing and helped motivated me to finish this so thank you so much!!
Deep breath in, deep breath out. If Jensen could do it you could do it.
Sure Jensen had years of experience with these under his belt, this is his literal job, and he knew at least somewhat what they were going to ask him.
But yeah if Jensen could do it you could do it, sure.
Your stomach was in knots, you could feel your entire body not just shaking but vibrating. It was as if the nervousness from every speech you’ve ever had to give was hitting you at once. But at least all of those times you had something prepared, you already knew what you were going to say, you didn’t here. You had nothing here.
Familiar green eyes made contact with yours from across the stage, a wink and smile sent in your direction and despite everything you felt a genuine one grow on your own face.
Scratch that you had one thing, you had him, and you honestly felt like that was enough.
“It would seem she’s a little shy” The laugh in his voice caught your attention, pulled you from your own little bubble, made you aware of the microphone being shoved into your hand.
Deep breath in, deep breath out, one foot in front of the other, and you were met with a wall of sound.
Cheers, they were cheering for you, they actually wanted to see you, that was new.
Your thumb hovered over the button, hesitating just as it did every time you did this. With a small sigh you clicked back to the photo, your lips turning up just slightly at the sight of it. It was an objectively cute photo, Jensen leaning over to kiss your cheek well you laughed into the camera, a genuine laugh that made you grin at the thought of it.
You friend had taken the photo for you and from that moment was gushing about how you just had to post it. And she wasn’t wrong, you were excited to post it, to show off your boyfriend and gush about your relationship, but that damn comments section.
You had learned long ago that disabling it was safest, many people had not even waited until you and Jensen made you relationship public to attack you, instead going back onto old photos of you and leaving nasty comments. And at first it wasn’t a big deal, just disable their ability to leave comments and you wouldn’t have to read them anymore, not that you ever really paid attention to your comments section.
But as the saying goes you never know what you have until its gone.
As stupid as you felt admitting it you loved reading people’s comments, compliments, teasing from your friends, Jared always making note to make fun of Jensen, you missed it.
So before you could talk yourself out of it you posted the picture. Setting down the phone right away, almost scared something would pop up immediately.
But of course nothing did, they gave you a good five minutes to enjoy your day before tearing it to shreds.
You jumped at the notification sound in spite of yourself, immediately reaching for the phone and checking it, the first comment coming in.
GOLD DIGGER
You knew that was ridiculous, you were an independent woman, you could more than survive on your own salary alone, you definitely weren’t just dating him for his salary. But damn did the insinuation hurt.
Another one
She’s not even that pretty I don’t understand why he would choose her
Had you an optimistic bone in your body you would have fixated on the latter part of that sentence, the fact that yes he choose you, but of course you chose to focus on the former, even worse you agreed with it. There was no arguing it Jensen was way out of your league, in attractiveness, in social standing, hell economically speaking if we want to go there, and they for sure did, so why did he chose you?
Jensen deserves so much more than you
He did, didn’t he.
You could feel a lump grow in your throat at the memory, biting your lip before awkwardly taking the seat next to Jensen, waving to the crowd you couldn’t even see behind the bright lights.
“You’re doing great”
The words were comfortingly whispered into your ear, tips of hair from the scruff on his face tickling your neck, sending another smile across your face. Maybe you could do this afterall.
“Anyone have any questions for the beautiful Y/N?” Jared’s voice boomed over the speakers, pulling you back.
“How did you and Jensen meet?” The voice came from one area but the lights were much to bright to discern exactly who was talking.
“uh-“ You started to panic a bit, trying desperately to force yourself to calm down enough to speak.
“I’m just saying the blip is a stupid name that seeks to lessen the loss of five years for half of the population” You muttered, catching the amused smirk your friend had on her face.
“And I’m just saying its all fictional and you need to get over it” She couldn’t keep the laughter out of her voice, loving how defensive you got over the subject .
“well I-“ You started to counter, honestly not 100 percent sure where you were going to go with the sentence when you collided hard with another person’s shoulder, sending both of you spinning around, nearly falling to the ground.
“Oh my god I’m so sorry” You immediately started to apologize, reaching over ready to help the man up when you stopped dead in your tracks as familiar green eyes connected with yours. “You’re Jensen Ackles”
A small smirk flashed across his face as he stood up straighter, you immediately following suit, cursing yourself for those words. “Last time I checked yeah I am”
“Oh does it change often?” You didn’t even think before the words came spilling out of your mouth, your knee jerk reaction always to return sarcasm with sarcasm.
His eyebrows raised just slightly, his smile just getting a bit wider “As an actor actually yeah it does”
“touché” You chuckled, immediate rearing up ready to apologize again for knocking him over and taking up his time stating the obvious, when he got to filling the silence first.
“Well since you already know my name I think it’s only fair that I should know yours”
Alarms started going off in your head. Was that flirting, was he flirting with you? Jensen Ackles, an actual celebrity, an incredibly attractive one at that, there was just no way.
“I’m Y/N”
His hands dug deep in his pockets and his tongue darted out to graze his bottom lip, you could feel your whole body freeze at the simple action.
“You seem quite sure of that”
“As a non-actor I can afford to be” You quipped, relishing in the fact that he was actually laughing at your jokes.
“Jensen we gotta go man” It was the first time you realized there were other people watching you, looking away from his gorgeous eyes long enough to catch a glance from your friend sending a deep blush on your cheeks.
“Yeah yeah” He brushed off the people he was with, looking back at you “I’ll see you around Y/N”
You chuckled softly before giving him an awkward wave “probably not” His eyebrows drew together causing you to continue “Sorry I know you just meant it as a nice sentiment just ignore me” more silence, more waiting for you to continue “I mean it’s not like we run in the same circles”
“well then can I have your number to make sure I do see you around”
You could feel the wind being knocked out of your chest, he really was hitting on you. You couldn’t get your voice to work, only giving him a slight nod before reaching out to take his phone, putting your contact information in it, checking the number three times before handing it back to him, just to be safe.
“We just bumped into eachother one day” A pun…a stupid pun…a pun they wouldn’t even get…that’s the best you could come up with.
To your relief you heard Jensen laugh next to you, jumping in to fill in the gaps immediately saving you, “she means that literally. I basically tackled her in a mall”
You laughed back, forgetting for a moment there were god knows how many people watching you, letting yourself get caught up in him, it was a nice familiar feeling.
“Where was your first date?” A random voice shouted out another question.
“We just kept it low key” You answered, relived to find this answer rolled off your tongue much easier than the last one “pizza and movies at his place”
You woke up to a small tickle on your forehead, your hand immediately coming up trying to push away the hair when you realized it wouldn’t go away, cause it wasn’t yours.
You slowly picked your head up, coming face to face with gorgeous green eyes.
“Well good morning to you too”
You looked down to see your legs thrown over his lap, your arms hanging limply around his neck, your head pressed into the crook of it, you were basically clinging onto him.
“uh-sorry” You stuttered, a blush rising quickly up your cheeks as you started to untangle yourself from him, only to have him hold onto you tighter, keeping you in place.
“You definitely have nothing to be sorry for” He assured you with a soft smile.
“good cause I’m not” You shot back with a giggle, placing your head back onto his shoulder, looking back at the tv screen to see the credits rolling through, the last remnants of your movie date night.
“What time is it?”
“1am I think” He shrugged
You cursed under your breath, burying your head a little deeper “I don’t want to leave yet”
“then don’t” He answered quickly “It’s late and also pouring down rain”
“I wouldn’t want to impose-“
“You wouldn’t be” He interrupted you “You can have the guest bed if you want”
“Are you sure” You asked him, sitting up once again to look him in the eyes.
“Of course” He chuckled, his eyes bouncing back and forth between your own.
“Then I’d like that”
“me too”
-
The rain hadn’t seemed so bad at first, just some light tapping on the window, but as the eye of the storm moved closer everything got worse. The rain itself wasn’t bad still, sounded like marbles falling onto the roof. but the thunder, that’s what scared you.
You had pulled the blankets up over your head, as if it could protect you from the deafening cracks that without fail made you jump. The lightning illuminating the room for a second giving you little warning before the sky split open.
You thought you could handle it, hands over your ears, hiding, telling yourself that it was going to be ok. But then it got to the point that the walls shook with the sound and before you knew it you were standing in front of Jensen’s door.
You decided to give it a short knock before walking right in, not entirely sure how best to handle the situation. Hesitantly you whispered his name, watching in relief as he slowly sat up, his hands going to his eyes rubbing the sleep from them.
“Y/N? what’s wrong”
You froze for a moment, unsure of what to say. You hadn’t thought any of this through and in that moment just telling him didn’t feel like the right answer. The room flooded with light for a brief moment and seconds after a loud crack, making you jump and tense up, something that didn’t go unnoticed by him.
“Come here” Was all he said, lifting up the blankets and you didn’t think twice before diving underneath them. He waisted no time in wrapping his arms around you, pulling you deep into his chest, your head resting comfortably on it.
“I’m sorry”
“You never need to be sorry” He assured you, hugging you tightly.
Another flash of lightning, another clap of thunder, another jump.
He pressed a kiss to the top of your head, mumbling into your hair “you’re ok. I’ve got you”
And in all honesty you fully believed him
“Ah right then we slept together”
You hit him on the chest right away, your cheeks dusting red as you rolled your eyes “we did not sleep together on our first date…we just slept in eachothers arms”
A chorus of ‘awws’ erupted around the room including an overzealous one coming from Jared’s chair making you blush even harder, maybe you should have just gone with Jensen’s version of events.
“Since you’ve never had to deal with the paparazzi before what’s that like?”
“It can be hard” You answered honestly, not missing the way Jensen’s hand immediately sought yours out, rubbing soft circles on the skin “especially in the beginning”
“Can I open my eyes yet?”
“No”
“how about now”
“Still no”
“now?”
“You really are a child aren’t you”
“Maybe but I’m you’re child”
“You know that was probably meant to be sweet but it just came across as kinda creepy” You laughed at him, finally pulling into a parking spot after much too long looking for one.
“Yeah not my best work” He admitted with a chuckle.
“Alright you can open your eyes”
He gasped loudly, grabbing your hand tightly, looking at you with wide eyes “how did you know I love parking lots?”
You rolled your eyes and tried to fight the smile off of your face “alright just get out of the car smartass”
He laughed in response, giving you a smirk before stepping out of the car, freezing once he finally did see where you were at “the carnival?”
“It’s its first day in town” You shrugged “thought it would be fun”
“I haven’t been in years” He laughed, staring up at it.
“I hope its ok”
“It’s perfect” He assured you, walking around the car to throw his arm over your shoulders, leading you to the ticket booth.
Despite protests that it was your date he still paid for the tickets, walking lazily around the carnival with his hand in yours, trying to decide what to do first when one of the workers jumped from his booth into your path.
“hey what do you say buddy win your lady a prize?” He gestured up at the giant stuffed teddy bears, a signature untrustworthy smirk playing on his face as he locked eyes with Jensen.
“That’s the whole reason you brought me here wasn’t it” He laughed looking down at you “You wanted a giant bear”
“well I’m not saying I’d be opposed to one” He chuckled at you, handing the man five dollars and listening as he explained the rules, you breaking off from him to watch.
Jensen picked up one of the baseballs, taking a moment to test it’s weight in his hands before cocking his arm and throwing it just to the left of the milk bottles.
“You know the point of the game is to hit those right?”
You watched as he mimicked you under his breath, picking up the next ball and letting it sail just to the right of the bottles.
“I’m just saying at this rate you’ll be broke before I get the bear”
He locked eyes with you, sending you a glare and picking up the ball before winking, quickly cocking his arm and knocking over all three bottles in one throw.
“We have a winner!” The man shouted, climbing up on the counter and pulling down one of the bears, lowering it into your arms
“And you doubted me” Jensen teased, walking back over to you with a smile on his face.
You opened your mouth to respond but was cut off by someone else calling his name. This was something that by this point you were used to, random people recognizing him in restaurants and such asking for an autograph. But you watched as this guy pulled out a notepad and asked if he could ask Jensen some questions.
Immediately Jensen stepped in front of you, blocking you from view.
“Look kid I know you’re just trying to do your job but I’m just here to have fun no questions please”
The reporter didn’t back off, ignoring him completely, continuing to barrage him with questions. Jensen tired to talk him down, tried to get him to leave, but nothing worked, so he finally just grabbed your hand and dragged you away from the guy, keeping his body between you and the reporter.
You didn’t question him just let him drag you away, watching the way his jaw set as he heard the guy calling after him but luckily didn’t follow you two.
“Jensen are you ok?” You asked him once you had finally gotten far enough away, pausing behind some random tent.
He squeezed your hand, sending you a soft but obviously painted on smile. “I’m fine, I’m just really sorry about that guy?”
“It’s not your fault” You shrugged, rubbing a thumb across his hand, trying to get him to calm down “and I’m fine it was just one guy he didn’t even care about me”
“It is my fault” he insisted with a sigh “it’s my fault he came up to me”
“It’s your fault that you were you?” You chuckled shaking your head at him “that’s ridiculous, it’s not your fault, and no harm was done, don’t even worry about it”
He looked at you, the corners of his mouth tipped up finally, “what did I do to deserve you?”
“Beats me” You chuckled earning yourself an eyeroll “but how bout I run this bear to the car, you buy me an elephant ear, and we’ll go on the Farris wheel in a bit”
“I’d like that” He nodded.
You grinned back at him, nodding back briefly before heading back to the car, Jensen heading over to one of the food trucks.
It took some effort but the bear eventually did fit in the back seat, you just couldn’t see out of the back window which sounded like a problem for the drive home not now.
Your phone beeped with a message from Jensen letting you know where to meet him. You started to make your way back into the carnival when you paused noticing the unusually long line to get into the park, each one of them wearing large cameras around their necks, reporters. That guy must have tipped them off and now they were all here for Jensen, shit.
You ran back through the grounds, trying to make sure you didn’t tip anyone off that you were heading where they needed to, when you finally spotted Jensen sitting at one of the picnic tables, a giant elephant ear on a plate in front of him, a grin appearing on his face as soon as he spotted you.
You ran up and grabbed his hand, trying to pull him to his feet “we need to go”
“What’s wrong” He furrowed his brow, slowly getting up but not moving from his seat.
“The reporter must have tipped off some of his buddies, there’s a whole bunch trying to get into the park right now” You rambled off quickly, glancing nervously around you.
Jensen immediately started to do the same, accidently making eye contact with more than a few in the process. Several of them started to sprint in your direction, calling his name, camera bulbs flashing harshly in the process. “shit” He swore under his breath and pulled you off in the other direction.
You tried to keep up with him, your much shorter legs struggling to do so, when he finally yanked you into a random tent, pulling the flaps closed and pulling you into a corner, his eyes telling you to be quiet just in case.
The two of you sat in the tent for a bit, perfectly silent, listening as footsteps passed in front of the tent and just as quickly faded.
You waited until it was silent for quite some time before Jensen smiled down at you, sending you a small wink to say you were in the clear.
“fuck Jens I’m so sorry”
His face immediately fell, his eyebrows drawing up “what are you sorry for”
“This date!” You exclaimed “it’s been an absolute mess”
“and that’s not your fault” He pressed
“it’s the first night its here I should have known there would be someone here to cover it”
He shook his head “there is no way that any of this is your fault”
“it is! I should have thought this through. I should have taken more precautions, I shouldn’t have brought you here in the first place” Words flowed from your mouth quickly as you started to spiral, Jensen trying desperately to get you to stop before he finally took matter into his own hands. He grabbed your face with two hands, not giving you a second to process what was happening before pressing his lips against yours.
You froze on the spot, total shock taking over you as you just stood there dumbly with wide eyes until he pulled back from you.
“this is not your fault” He assured you with a small chuckle, watching your cheeks heat up as you just stared at him with big eyes.
“you..you kissed me” You stuttered out, unable to think about anything else, your hands rising up to your lips, brushing over them.
“I did” He replied slowly “I’m sorry I should have asked if that was ok”
“no no” You shook your head, finally bringing your gaze up to meet his own “it’s not that it’s just…that was my first”
He drew his brows again “your first kiss?”
You just nodded sheepishly.
“oh shit” He mumbled, running a hand through his hair “If I had known that I would have made it much more romantic. Not just in a random tent in a carnival”
“No it was perfect” You giggled, biting your lip softly.
“I guess I’ll just have to make it up to you later” He chuckled “but first we should probably get out of here” He started shrugging off his coat, handing it to you along with his baseball cap “here put these on”
“but it’s something you get used to” You said with a small smile, looking down at the hands in your lap “and they did get me my first kiss so I guess it’s not all bad”
Jensen laughed again from his chair but didn’t say anything, giving you the floor, acknowledging that at this point you could handle yourself.
“Just in general what is dating Jensen like?”
“It’s a roller coaster” You answered honestly with a small laugh in your voice, giving his hand a small squeeze. “it can have its lows” the paparazzi, media attention, being hounded whenever you went outside, the mean comments, life wasn’t exactly a cakewalk with him “and it definitely has it’s highs”
Half an hour passed without you realizing it, just sitting on your bed, scrolling through comments, not even bothering to wipe the tears as they rolled down your face.
The front door sounded as someone walked through it, presumably Jensen back from work, and you jumped into action, wiping away at your cheeks, tossing your phone across the room with little care as to where it landed, hell better if it broke least then you wouldn’t be tempted to check Instagram again.
He came into the bedroom, a grin on his face and a bouquet of roses in his hands, held proudly in front of him.
“Jensen what’s all this for” You put on your best happy face, grabbing the roses and immediately trying to hide your face behind them.
“I was just thinking about you on the way home and all of a sudden I was in front of a flower shop” He chuckled, reaching out to brush some hair from your face, his brows immediately drawing in concern “Babe what’s wrong”
You never could hide anything from him, damn that acting career, nevertheless you tried “nothing Jens”
“As much as I like the idea of you being so overcome with emotion at the fact that your boyfriend spontaneously brought you flowers home I don’t think that’s what happened” He said was a small chuckle, trying to lighten the mood.
And despite everything you did smile a bit, finally looking up to meet his gaze, finally letting him see the full extent of your puffy red eyes.
“I got a post notification from you a few minutes ago…did you-“ He didn’t even need to finish the sentence, understanding what was going on immediately, having been in this exact situation not too long ago.
You didn’t say anything, setting the roses down on the bed and hugging him tightly, trying to pull yourself as far into him as you could, letting him anchor you, letting him protect you.
“Why do they hate me” You had said it so softly you were unsure if he heard you, unsure if you wanted him to hear you.
“They don’t hate you Y/N” Jensen put his harms around your shoulders, squeezing you tightly into him, resting his chin on top of your head.
“They do” You pressed “the awful things they say to me”
“They’re assholes” He shook his head “they don’t even know you”
“but they’re not wrong” You regretted the words as soon as you said them, you did not need to push your insecurities onto him he didn’t need your burden to carry.
“What?” He pulled back from you and you practically whimpered at the loss of contact, reluctantly looking up at him through your lashes, wishing you could take back the words.
“Nothing just please hold me”
“What do you mean they’re not wrong Y/N” He wasn’t letting this one go.
“You’re a big movie star Jensen” You couldn’t meet his eye contact, your eyes falling to the floor “your handsome and successful and famous and I’m…I’m just me…I’m nothing”
“You are not nothing” The words came out of his mouth quickly, so forceful it left a small part of you worried he was angry “You are so far out of my league its not even funny”
You pushed the corners of your mouth up, moving in to hug him again “thanks Jensen”
“I mean it” He hugged you back “they don’t know you, I’m the one who gets to see this amazing, sweet, caring, funny, intelligent person everyday. So I’m definitely the one you should trust in this situation”
You couldn’t help but laugh into his chest, letting a bit of the weight off your shoulders. “I trust you”
“Good” You could hear the smile in his voice “cause I’m always right”
You finally let a louder laugh escape your lips, pulling back from him but always keeping him at arms length “we’ll I don’t know about that”
He feigned hurt, pulling an arm up to his chest and scoffing “How dare you”
“mhm” you hummed with a smirk, going up onto your toes and pecking his lips, his offended attitude melting away immediately “I love you”
“I love you too”
There was silence for a moment, just enjoying the feeling of Jensen against you, before he broke it again “come take a shower with me”
You shook your head against his chest, pulling back again “I’m not really in the mood Jens”
“not in that way you perv” He joked with a soft chuckle, making a point to softly flick your nose “just help calm you down”
“I’m fine” You tried to shake it off, wanting to do nothing more than collapse in the bed and forget about this afternoon.
“We both know that’s not true” He sighed, taking your hand, softly pulling you to the bathroom.
You groaned but obliged, following him into the bathroom. He grinned at your compliance, turning on the water and stripping, making a show of keeping his boxers on before getting in the shower.
You eyed his suspiciously, not entirely sure what you had gotten yourself into but did the same, following behind him, only to be met with a bone crushing hug.
Immediately you took note of the feeling of his skin against yours, his arms, his chest, his stomach, his thighs. Every part of him was open to your touch, his fingers delicately tracing figures into your back as he hugged you. The water was nice and hot, making the entire room steam, his scent was everywhere around you, his skin was soft and wet to the touch. And before you knew it you were completely melting into him just enjoying the feeling of him.
“but the highs always outweigh the lows” you finished with a soft smile, looking back up at Jensen who wore a similar expression on his face.
“Jensen what do you think?”
He laughed softly, not taking an eye off of you for a second “This relationship is unlike anything I’ve ever been in before” He chuckled softly “but I can honestly say I’ve never loved anyone like I love you”
You. He said you. Not her not Y/N he said you. He wasn’t talking to the crowd or even for their benefit, he was talking to you.
“I love you too” You didn’t bother to lift the microphone to your lips when you said it. This was your moment, this was yours and Jensen’s moment.
“anyways” Jared’s voice broke through everything, drawing you back once again, your eyes flicking away from Jensen’s quickly as if you had been caught doing something you weren’t supposed to have been. “anymore questions before we let Y/N out of here?”
The room was silent and you took that as your que to leave, getting ready to push yourself up from the chair when a voice sounded from the crowd.
“How big is he?”
You bit your lip and grinned up at him, his face dropping slightly. You could hear Jared rearrange himself in his chair and looked over to see him leaning heavily over the armrest towards you, looking as interested in your answer as possible.
“Do you want like a metaphor or inches. Cause in terms of inches he’s about-“
Jensen grabbed your mic from your hand immediately “alright that’s enough of that”
You laughed at him, sending him a wink as he tried to keep a straight face but failed miserably.
The crowd erupted in boo’s making him shake his head “not my fault” he defended “they’re giving me the signal it’s time to wrap it up, no more questions, we’re done”
You and Jared laughed at him as he rambled, sharing a look before standing. With a quick kiss on the cheek you left the stage, leaving them to do whatever they needed to in order to wrap things up, feeling as though you were coming down from a high.
Never had you thought that would have gone that well.

The plane ride from Austin to Vancouver was an all too familiar trip for (Y/N). Every other weekend she would travel to Vancouver to visit her boyfriend, Jensen Ackles, who filmed his hit TV show there. Dating an actor was difficult with his crazy schedule, but Jensen and (Y/N) had made it work for the last five years. As she looked out her plane window watching the clouds pass by she thought back on how they met.
Halloween 2013
(Y/N) walked into the house party with her best friend in Los Angeles. Her best friend had convinced her to attend in order to make a good impression on some big shot producer. Where she was as a sexy nurse, (Y/N) had decided to go with a more conservative look going as a nerdy librarian.
There were a ton of people in the large house and after losing her best friend in the crowd (Y/N) found a spot out on back patio that was quiet. Where they were she could look out over downtown Los Angeles. She was mesmerized by the blur of lights and sounds of the city.
“Beautiful, isn’t it?” a deep voice from behind her startled her.
She turned around to see a strikingly handsome man dressed as Hansel from the fairytales, “Yes, it is Hansel.” She answered trying to keep from giggling.
“Yeah, yeah I know I’ve heard the line all night.” He said sighing.
She looked up at him confused as he walked towards her, “What line?” she asked.
“Hey there Hansel…” he said rolling his eyes. (Y/N) tried to remember if that was from the fairytale or not.
“I don’t think that is a line from the fairytale.” She said as he looked at her slightly stunned.
“It’s not. It’s a line from an episode of Supernatural in which I wore this god forsaken outfit.” He explained sitting down next to her.
(Y/N) shrugged her shoulders slightly, “Sorry, I’ve never seen it. If you don’t like it then why did you wear for Halloween?”
The man chuckled bringing the most charming smile on his lips and (Y/N) could feel heartbeat accelerate. “I lost a bet with my co-star and former best friend. He’s the big guy in there dressed as a Storm Trooper.”
(Y/N) snickered remember seeing the obnoxiously tall Star Wars guy, “I’m (Y/N), by the way.” She stuck out her hand to him.
His large hand gently grabbed hers shaking it, “I’m Jensen, it’s nice to meet you.”
Present Day
She walked off the plane with a carry-on bag and looked around for Clif, the guys’ bodyguard. When she spotted him the look on his face was grim. A sinking feeling came over her as her stomach started to churn.
“Clif, what’s wrong?” she asked as he led her out to his car.
He did not answer her until they were on the road, “Jensen had an accident on set performing a stunt and he is in the hospital. He was knocked unconscious.”
(Y/N)’s heart dropped to her stomach as she tried to take deep breaths to keep herself from freaking out, “W-Will he… will he be alright?” she asked her voice strained from holding back her emotions.
“The doctor says he should be fine once he wakes up. There was a little swelling on his brain, but it was going down as of an hour ago. Jared is at the hospital now, but I need to take him back to set once I drop you off.” Clif explained as (Y/N) nodded not trusting herself to say anything without opening the dam of emotions within her.
Clif led her into the hospital and straight to Jensen’s room where they found Jared sitting in the waiting room. He immediately pulled her into his arms, “The doctors are in there now. You know how stubborn he is, so he’ll wake up soon.”
She nodded as tears slipped down her cheeks. This was not how she wanted to spend her Halloween weekend with Jensen. Clif and Jared left as (Y/N) sat in the waiting room for the doctors to come out. The thoughts of last year’s Halloween popping up in her mind.
Halloween 2017
“I can’t believe you are actually home for Halloween this year.” (Y/N) said as Jensen drove them back to their house from the airport. He was humming to a song on the radio as his eye looked out to the road in front of him.
“We should get away this weekend. Just pack a bag, drive in no direction particularly and see where we land.” Jensen suggested as they pulled into their driveway.
She chuckled thinking he was joking until she looked over at him, “You’re serious?”
He nodded, “Yeah. I know we usually go to Jared and Gen’s house, but I would like to spend this weekend just with you.”
She eyed him suspiciously nodding slowly, “Alright. I won’t turn down a weekend alone with you.”
He leaned over kissing her briefly before they went into the house to get a few necessities. Soon they were back on the road, radio up loud and windows down. After a few hours of driving, (Y/N) had fallen asleep only waking up when she felt the car coming to a stop.
“Hey sleepy head, we’re here.” She heard Jensen’s deep voice as she slowly opened her eyes.
They were parked outside a small cabin that looked out over a lake. Getting out of the car she was amazed by the beauty that surrounded them. The trees were gorgeous reds and oranges that were only made brighter by the glow of the sun setting.
“Jensen, this place is beautiful.” She said as he slipped his arms around her waist.
He pressed his lips against her temple, “Yeah it is, but not as beautiful as you are.”
Present Day
It had turned out to be one of the best weekends they had together. Sleeping in late, taking walks, and spending quality time together. (Y/N) looked up as the doctor came out of Jensen’s room. “Miss (Y/L/N)?”
“Yes, how is Jensen?” she asked standing up.
“He’s awake. He’s a little groggy but as far as I can see he will be perfectly fine.” It felt as if a huge weight had been lifted off her chest.
(Y/N) took a deep breath, “May I go in to see him?” she asked as he nodded leading her to his room.
She walked inside, and her hand went over her mouth. (Y/N) was so used to Jensen being vibrant, strong man she fell in love with. Seeing him lying in a hospital bed hooked up to several machines and his face was pale with his dark circles under his eyes.
His eyes were closed as she moved to the side of his bed sitting down. He slowly opened his olive eyes looking around until his eyes landed on her. A weak smile crossing his lips, “Hey beautiful.” His voice was raspy.
“Hey handsome, not exactly how I wanted to spend our weekend together. You really scared me.” She said tears welling up in her eyes.
Jensen reached out for her hand and pulled her towards his bed to lay down next to him. She carefully wrapped her arm around his narrow waist as he held her close. “It’s Halloween, everyone’s entitled to one good scare.”
She chuckled as Jensen quoted her favorite movie, “Well now we can marathon through the Halloween series as you recover.”
“Anything you want beautiful. Will you do me a favor?” she looked up and nodded, “Will you grab something out of my front pocket of my jeans, please?”
(Y/N) got up reaching into the bag holding his clothes from set and she pulled out a small velvet box. Her hands began to tremble as she walked back over to Jensen sitting on the side of the bed. “Jensen… is this…” she started to ask.
He pushed himself to sit up then took the box out of her hands, “When I woke up all I could think about was seeing you. I had the whole weekend planned out kind of like I did last year. I wanted to take you for a walk in Stanley Park and have a romantic picnic. Get down on one knee to do this properly.”
(Y/N) sat perfectly still hardly believing that Jensen was holding a small box containing a promise to be with her for the rest of their lives. She could not take her eyes off the box in his hands as he continued to speak.
“Where I wanted to make this moment perfect, I don’t want to waste any more time. I want us to live our lives together. To have a family together and be able to call you my wife. (Y/N) (Y/L/N), will you do marry me?” She finally looked up at him as he asked the one question she had wanted to hear for the last year.
A wide smile spread across her face as she nodded, “Yes, Jensen Ackles, I will most definitely marry you.”
He opened the box to reveal a beautiful solitaire ring that he slipped onto her finger. “Alright, future Mrs. Ackles, let’s call Clif to bring your laptop over and we can begin our Halloween movie marathon.”
She leaned over kissing him before grabbing her phone and dialing Clif’s number as she snuggled back down onto the hospital bed.
