Plea to the Zootopia/WildeHopps Community: (Borba)
I really, REALLY hate to bring any attention to this but I just really feel like I have to. For those of you who know and for those of you who don’t know a certain comic made by the person on the title of this post, has finally ended. But...This particular person has not surprisingly announced a third comic. One that I believe may be titled, “Never Say Die” (At least I think that’s what it is, I don’t remember, nor do I care to correct it if I’m wrong).
Anyway my point to this is really to reach out to those of you out there that still have plans to read it, share it, and have hope that Borbleh may actually decide to have a happy WildeHopps ending to it.
Everyone is free to do as they wish of course, but I do ask everyone to at least please hear me out. Please don’t share or even give any further attention to that comic series, or Borba even. He is not going to change his mind. If you still believe that he is a WildeHopps shipper...he’s not. He probably was at some point, but the minute he made that first comic and received hate and practically banishment from this community, he stopped being for the ship. I say this as a REAL WildeHopps shipper. I and I know many of you, if not most of you as WildeHopps shippers, wouldn’t ever think of making a comic like this. Much less a follow up to it like the one he made. My main reason personally is because when I love something I’m actually faithful to it and I wouldn’t butcher it for likes, views, or scandalous attention.
Just because he releases “WildeHopps” art every once in a while, like that Breakfast at Tiffany’s one that was circling sometime late last year, that isn’t reason enough to have hope for this new comic that will come out. He does this as bait so people think that he’s going to change his mind and give everyone the “beautiful WildeHopps” ending that we’re all hoping for. You know, because deep down he’s really a “WildeHopps” shipper. Nope.
If you’re asking how I know this? It’s obvious, didn’t anyone notice that in his journal entry on Deviantart prior to “Born to be Borbleh” (sorry, but I don’t care to give dignity to these titles) he never once displayed any sort of regret, remorse, or even understanding toward the community regarding the negative impact the comic had? He never once said: “I’m sorry”, “I apologize for upsetting some of you”, “I understand why some of you were upset”, etc. He never once showed any sort of concern for anyone but himself. Also, what kind of “WildeHopps” shipper ends their comic (where Nick and Judy don’t end up together) with “I just love happy endings!” (He’s really subtle about throwing it in everyone’s faces isn’t he?)
This is revenge people. Don’t be fooled by this guy. The third comic is going to be worse if this second one is anything to go by. I can very easily make a wild guess that it’ll probably be July (I know I spelled that wrong. I’m not referring to that heartless abomination he made as Judy, because that’s NOT Judy) and her girlfriend wanting to get pregnant by getting sperm from a sperm bank (you know, because she’s her actual “true love” and not Nick. Again, a “WildeHopps” shipper wrote this, is it obvious? smh) and then maybe there’s complications and then July’s going to have a hollow enough heart to say “Never say die” to that kid’s survival. You know, like the way she didn’t have any care or concern for Mick’s (you know who I’m referring to here) kid. And then Mick’s going to commit suicide while all this is going on or suddenly have a new sexual appetite as well. Really the third one will be any other thing you can think of that’ll butcher them or tear them apart even more so than they already are.
But anyway getting back to my point, I can give several reasons why this is actually a revenge ploy on Borba’s part. 1) he made the first comic and people hated him for it. 2) he was barraged with dozens of comments to make a second comic to correct things between July and Mick. 3) It was discovered that he had made some unsavory art work depicting lesbian women in a negative light. Put that all together and what did he do??? He gave us exactly what we “wanted”. He gave us a second comic, where he had a lesbian couple have a ”happy” ending, meanwhile “correcting” things between Mick and July by having them drift apart even further rather than having them come back closer as we actually wanted. See the pattern here? He just went opposite of everything his fan base wanted. We wanted Mick and July to get back together, did it happen? Nope. We wanted July to keep the baby, did she? Nope. That kid’s dead, buried, and forgotten like day old garbage.
He’s mocking everyone. Whatever you ask for, he’s going to do the opposite just to spite you. But first he’s going to fill you with false hope with a “WildeHopps” drawing. Is this really someone who’s work you want to support? Just because it looks nicely drawn? Is curiosity really worth more than your dignity?
This man is a sociopath that borders on a psycopathic mentality. I’m not even joking or trolling with this statement. I’m honestly concerned that we’ve accidentally stumbled upon an artist with psycopathic tendencies. I honestly don’t know of any other type of person who gains so much joy out of people’s misery, which is exactly what he does. He’s patient, conceited, manipulative (as is evident with his bait art work depicting good WildeHopps art), deceitful, calculative, vengeful, and toys with people’s emotions. If this doesn’t sound like a sociopath bordering on psychopath then I don’t know what does. Don’t quote me on this, because I don’t know the man, but this side of his that he has revealed to people more recently is very concerning.
Anyway, this comic made me feel sick and I personally want to know absolutely nothing of his ongoing series nor about him. Despite my better judgement, I did see where he went with his 2nd comic (even though all the red flags were there) and I was not wrong. He’s completely butchered Nick and Judy’s loving natures and names. And I refuse to give any more chances to someone who is sick enough in the head to take great joy in harming others, even if it is over a silly kid’s movie or comic.
As I said before, I can’t control what you see and don’t see. If you want to see it, then so be it. But I do ask you to please not share it. Don’t give him attention, because in that sense he’s winning, because he’s getting the best of you and this community. This is not how you deal with a bully because giving them attention just fuels them even more. And honestly, at the point this comic is at: Do any of you really care anymore if July and Mick get back together? I’m a WildeHopps shipper through and through (hell, I’m a purist, meaning I don’t share anything where they’re with someone else), but this is actually the first bit of work where I could care less what happens to them. They could fall into a vortex or die a horrible death in the comic for all I care. Because they are completely unforgivable and just so out of character that it really feels like it’s not even Nick and Judy I’m looking at anymore. This is a toxic relationship being depicted by two characters who would NEVER be toxic to one another given the actual source material. In real life, July is the type of person no one would ever want to be with.
More so because she’s written by a guy who clearly has no idea what love is. He took what was beautiful about Nick and Judy’s relationship, which is that Judy is the light in Nick’s otherwise dark past. She saved him from his own personal demons, she gave him a reason to fight and believe in himself. And he in turn proved to be the first person to ever believe in her and give her the support and faith in her dreams that no one, not even her parents ever gave her. And what did Borbleh do? He took it and made this wonderful bunny character as Mick’s worst nightmare that single handedly broke down everything the real Judy worked so hard to build. So forgive my foul language but: FUCK BORBA!
(Oh, and if you’re one of those people that are like: “yeah but July’s girlfriend supports her and her choices, cuz strong woman power!” Spare me that crap. I’m a woman and a career girl, but I am not betraying my maternal instincts for a job and this bad sort of feminism. Real Feminism is about equality, not throwing male characters down and stepping on them and falsely believing that this is empowering. A man who supports you and wants to be a father is a God sent. And again, Nick supports Judy’s desire to work and Judy cares about others more than her job. I refer you to the movie when Nick stands up to chief Bogo and when Judy GAVE UP HER CAREER for Nick. Sha-sha (the vixen) is just a controversial tool in this comic to start another controversy. The only thing that vixen supports more than Mick in this comic is that she’s submissive enough to put up with July’s heartless overbearing and dominating attitude.)
After this post, I don’t care how nice his art looks, I don’t care how “cute” a singular “WildeHopps” piece of his looks, I don’t care what horrible thing he does in the third comic, I don’t want to hear about it, see it or share it. Because Borba and his work were “Born to be Dead” if this is how he’s going to go about with continuing his work.
PS. Sorry for the rant, but I’m serious. Please boycott his comic. It won’t be worth it. You’ll be holding on to a non-existing hope if you still want to give him a chance. Save yourself (and the rest of us) the depression and blues, because I guarantee that’s all you’ll get from him and that comic series. By the way, sorry if I said anything controversial to some, but yeah, I’m pissed.
P.S.S. Why do we even give this comic so much attention? Let’s give this kind of attention (but positively of course) to the comics that deserve the attention and praise, like Sunderance, Savage Company, The Mark, and every other comic by true WildeHopps artists. Yeah, I know they have great attention already, but let’s give them more, because they remember why we’re all here for. For these two lovable characters:

Your New L, M, S Meal Plan
'Fuel Your Day, Lose Weight + Never Skip A Meal Again!'
Written By: Jonesy
jonesyfit.com
When it comes to eating healthier, one of the most difficult parts is figuring out how to eat to lose weight and turn your health around.
Should you eat breakfast or skip it?
Is it best to eat a big dinner or a small one?
What are the best foods to eat at night and what should you avoid in the morning?
What I provide to many of my clients is the 'Large, Medium, Small Meal Plan'.
This consists of eating a large breakfast (L), a medium-sized lunch (M), and a smaller dinner (S).
By eating according to our body's natural digestive rhythm and according to the activity of the sun, we can achieve digestive homeostasis, natural appetite control, and along with an active lifestyle, we can also achieve weight loss.
Tumblr media
Breakfast
(Large)
Breakfast is without a doubt, THE MOST important meal of the day, so you should eat like it.
It's the meal that fuels the base of your day - which means it sets the tone nutritionally. Because of this, breakfast should also be the heartiest or largest meal of the day and also the meal with the most variety.
In that variety, we want to be sure we have the correct ratio of carbs:fiber:protein for the mornings when the sun is rising for the day.
You're going to need the higher carb load to power through an active busy day, so forget what you've been told about 'breakfast foods', EAT WHAT YOU WANT (within reason), and make sure it's colorful (naturally)!
Tumblr media
Lunch
(Medium)
The point of a great lunch is to pick up where your hearty breakfast left off.  It's supposed to sustain you through the rest of your day. When we consider lunch though, we don't necessarily need as much as we did to break our nightly fast and power up for the day. We're sustaining mid-day and still have the option of a healthy snack later.
For lunch, it's safe to still consider the same carbs:fiber:protein ratio we used for breakfast - favoring carbs for the energy if our mid-days are active. If not, I'd recommend the protein:carbs:fiber ratio for lunch instead. Carbs are for burning with activity, otherwise, it can turn to fat if we have a habit of carb loading with no burn.
If your lunch is on the lighter side and you're still a bit hungry, reach for a wholesome, high protein snack to hold you until dinner time.
Waiting too long to eat can lead to gluttony and overeating as well as swallowing air which can lead to gas and bloating. Let's plan and think ahead to avoid the inevitable.
Tumblr media
Dinner
(Small)
On to the not so shocking news...
Dinner is supposed to be your smallest, least complex meal of the day. It also should preferably be eaten before sunset or shortly after - at least by 8PM nightly! Why do you ask?
Because our digestion slows down with the setting of the sun.
I do understand some of us may work retail or other odd shift jobs.
The solution?
If you happen to work odd shifts, then, of course, eat dinner when you can just be sure it's at or around the same time daily and be sure you eat at least 3 hours before laying down for the night 🙃
Dinner should be comprised of the protein:fiber:carbs ratio, favoring protein.
We favor the protein again because as digestion and our bodies slow, so does the burn. Carbs will turn to fat and lead to gas overnight. Protein, on the other hand, satiates and 'sticks to the ribs' meaning high protein keeps you full longer and digests slower thus being in harmony with your natural digestion processes during this time of day.
Digestive harmony is the goal here. Which is why dinner should also be the least complex meal of the day.
What do I mean by this?
By least complex, I mean having the least amounts of ingredients.
Dinner should be a simplified meal with basic food pairings that are easy to digest.
The information provided here is just a simple outline of a much more detailed plan I provide to my clients.

New books. Notes: 1] Derek Parfit died a couple of days ago, may he rest in peace. He was a British philosopher concerned with issues of personal identity, rationality, and ethics; he's considered one of the most important moral philosophers of the late 20th/early 21st centuries. I have only read academic articles by him; I thought I'd read his major works now, starting with the 1984 Reasons and Persons. 2] I have quickly come to love Wodehouse; I decided to always keep a (new) collection of his stories by my bedside. I'm already 2 stories into this one – great fun. 3] Machado de Assis was inspired by Sterne, particularly his Life and Opinions of Tristram Shandy – so I thought I'd give it a go. I also got my mittens on de Assis' second book in his Realistic Trilogy, Quincas Borba (a.t.a. Philosopher or Dog?). 3] "In 1880 the continent of Africa was largely unexplored by Europeans. Less than thirty years later, only Liberia and Ethiopia remained unconquered by them. The rest – 10 million square miles with 110 million bewildered new subjects – had been carved up by five European powers (and one extraordinary individual) in the name of Commerce, Christianity, 'Civilization' and Conquest. The Scramble for Africa is the first full-scale study of that extraordinary episode in history." Essential reading, especially for a European, it seems to me (it's all too easy to forget your [nation's] shameful history). 4] The Golovlyov Family was great; now I'm excited to read Schedrin's History of a Town. 5] Speaking of shameful history: Max Havelaar by Multatuli (pseudonym Eduard Douwes Dekker) centers on a Dutch civil servant in Java, who seeks to end the ill-treatment and oppression inflicted on native people by the colonial administration. The polemical and anti-colonial piece was published (to great shock among the Dutch nation) in 1860, and is based on the personal experiences of Dekker. Another piece of required reading. 6] How much control do you have over your actions? If your brain controls your mind, what controls your brain? Gazzaniga, one of the world's leading neuroscientists, attempts to answer these questions in his book on free will and the brain. 7] I've long wanted to read Rousseau's treatise on Inequality – now I can and will. 8] This collection of stories by William H. Gass seem fascinating (despite my general avoidance of contemporary literature). 9] In The Expanding Circle – a very important book – Singer (author of a great work called Animal Liberation) argues that moral progress has been made, in the form of an expanding circle of beings that we consider worthy of moral consideration. 10] The work on Richter "should be on the shelves of university and medical libraries and in the hands of biological rhythm researchers, psychobiologists, and historians of science" – but hey, here it is in the hands of good old Steven. 11] Jaynes' work is either complete crazy or one of the most revolutionary ideas to date – he argues that, until late in the 2nd millennium, men did not have consciousness but were automatically obeying the voices of gods (i.e. hallucinations caused by dialogue between different parts of the brain). Damn intriguing stuff. 12] In The Better Angels of Our Nature, Steven Pinker demonstrates why – contrary to what one may think – violence has declined over the ages.

where can i buy botox online without license
With today's economic climate, many of us are watching our dollars more closely than ever. However, we still want to care for our skin, our appearance and have a positive outlook on how we look and feel. Here are seven proven tips to stretch your beauty budget even further. As a bonus, I have included a "splurge" item with each tip. If you have it in your budget to splurge a bit, these are the items that you can spend a little extra on to enjoy the added benefits!
1. Drink Water. Many doctors and dermatologists will tell you that drinking water is one of the best things you can do for your skin. It improves the clarity and texture of your skin and can even help you reduce cellulite. Cut out the costly sodas and expensive lattes and stick to good old fashioned H2O. You will not only see the impact in your skin and overall wellness, but you will see more money in your wallet!
Splurge item: Borba has wonderful products that can truly impact your skin. They have both "Balance Waters" and "Crystalline" packets that you can add to your water bottle. These products can help you to improve your skin's clarity, firmness and promotes anti-aging.
2. Wear Sunglasses. While this seems very basic, or a tip to maintain eye health, wearing sunglasses, even aqualyx for sale  when it is overcast, can help to mitigate the damage that squinting and frowning can do around your eyes and on your brow. Women and men alike spend a great deal on botox and other products to relax these lines or use products that claim to "fill" the fine lines. All of that time and energy could have been spent on a pair of sunglasses that over time will help to minimize the lines.
Splurge item: Invest in 100% UV Protection. Many less expensive sunglasses may be fun and fashionable and help you see a bit better in sunlight, but the best protection comes typically with premium sunglasses.
3. Wash your skin. Yes, mom's advice to wash your face is some of the best advice! Washing your skin helps to remove make up, environmental "yuk" and helps to keep your pores clear. Unfortunately, too many people think that they have to buy the expensive cleansing foams and gels as it cleans more thoroughly, or is more gentle, or they read about it in the latest magazine. In fact, there are fantastic face washes and gels that you can buy in any drug store that will do the exact same job.
Splurge item: Purchase a high quality exfoliation cream or gel. Exfoliation is a great way to improve your skin's clarity and texture. I recommend Dr. Brandt's "Dermabrasion in a Jar".
4. Wear sunscreen. This one cannot be stressed enough. This helps you to not only avoid serious issues with skin cancer, but a sunscreen works miracles on cutting down on the damage that sun does to your skin. So many of us have fine lines, brown spots and other skin damage that could have been minimized, and certainly delayed by religiously using sunscreen.
Splurge Item: Buy a sunscreen that is Dermatologist Grade or created specifically for the face. Many sunscreens can be a bit on the heavy/greasy side, and that can take its own toll on your skin. I recommend Murad's "Oil-Free Sunblock SPF 30"for a wonderful sunscreen that is not at all greasy and can easily be worn every day under makeup.
5. Buy products that multi-task. There are many wonderful products that do more than one job for your beauty routine. There are eye creams that have a slight concealing tint. There are moisturizers that have a nice tint so you can skip foundation for daytime coverage. I love the tint products that can be used as blush and lip color. Multitask and save not only money, but time on your beauty routine.
Splurge Item: Benefit's "You Rebel". This is a moisturizer, tint AND sunscreen (SPF 15) all rolled into one!
6. Stick with what you know. I am the ideal beauty counter customer. I see new colors or a new product line, I sit down for a make over, I buy everything they put on me. Then, I get it all home, forget how to use some of it, realize that I kind of already have that eye color or that blush. Just say no to up-selling! Stick with what you know, avoid the temptation and focus solely on what you need and what you know works for you. Experimenting is fun, but it can come with a hefty price tag!
Splurge Item: Buy one of the multi-product and color kits that you see at Sephora, or another beauty counter. Typically, the kits are promotionally priced, and you can get a variety of lip, cheek and eye colors that are in smaller, almost "trial" amounts and still have plenty of fun with trying new colors, new looks.
7. Embrace your unique beauty. This tip is the best of the bunch! We all have a unique beauty that is truly ours, and that is so important to remember and enjoy. We spend huge sums to cover up freckles, this little red spot, that little scar. We get lost in just that one flaw, and forget that we are the stunning sum of many beautiful parts.
Splurge Item: Teeth-whitening strips or treatment in your dentist's office. A beautiful smile is sexy, gorgeous, welcoming, and a lasting impact on everyone who you know and love. Make the most out of your smile with healthy white teeth.

Hey everyone! Today we're reviewing the elf Clarifying Charcoal Bubble Mask. Say hello to our guest, Nick. ----- The mask itself is fun to use but I only noticed less oil on my face after using it. My pores remained the same and I didn't feel significantly cleaner. It's a nice mask, but nothing amazing. I'd give it 3.5 out of 5 stars. I'll use it until its gone, but I won't be buying more afterwards ----- Link to elf Clarifying Charcoal Bubble Mask: https://www.elfcosmetics.com/p/clarifying-bubble-mask?dept=masks ----- DETAILS Watch this gel transform into a bubble mask before your eyes! The magical bubble action mixed with the clarifying powers of charcoal work to gently remove dirt and oil for a clearer looking complexion. - HOW TO USE Push down on the sides of the top to disperse product and apply a thin layer to slightly damp skin. Allow mask to sit on the skin for about 5-10 minutes until bubbles begin to dissipate. Massage face with fingertips and wash with warm water to remove. Pat dry. Recommended usage is 1-3 times a week. Heh, it’s about TIME someone drew a Zootopia X Rick and Morty crossover pic…though I will admit this one was worth the wait; Borba (the artist) just nailed the R&M animation style.
In the meantime we present our latest Random collection of Zootopia fan-art.

The People’s Republic (Highlights From “Authentic Alentejo”)
Tasting Alentejo at the Christian Hogwarts…
In the grand scheme of the wine world, Portugal appears to be the county that stands tall, despite its relatively small size (about 575 miles long, and just under 140 miles wide). In Napoleonic-complex fashion, it makes up for its stature in other ways; Portugal is in the top ten worldwide in vineyard acreage, per capita wine consumption, wine exports to the USA, and almost squeaks into that list for wine production (coming in at number 11).
Given that, we tend to forget that Portugal’s land mass isn’t actually all that tiny; one of its largest production areas – Alentejo – is responsible for half of the world’s wine cork production, takes up approximately one-third of the country, and has portions in the south that stretch all the way out to the coast. Alentejo has eight sub-regions, over 35,000 acres of PDO wine production, and is about the size of Belgium.
Wine & Spirits’ Josh Greene, doing his best religious statue impersonation
The host of a recent Wines of Alentejo “Authentic Alentejo” event held (I was a media guest), Master Sommelier Evan Goldstein summed it up this way: “‘the People’s Republic of Alentejo,’ if you will.”
Wine has deep roots (ha ha) in Alentejo, stretching back about 4,000 years. The pre-Roman-era Tartessians likely introduced winemaking to the region, and the Romans cemented it into its DNA (including the amphorae methods of talhas de barro, still in use today). The region has more or less been making wine ever since, with only a brief decline during Moorish occupation in the 8th Century. In modern terms, tourism-stimulating attention from National Geographic and a nearly seven-fold increase in wine producers in the late 1990s have brought renewed vinous attention to the region.
Well, that and the fact that several of the wineries became known for the fruit-forward, full-throttle, probably-overblown style of winemaking popular with major wine critics during the last couple of decades.
But Alentejo wines don’t have to be overblown; at least, that’s the takeaway that I got from the wines presented by Goldstein and co-host Joshua Greene in the refractory of NYC’s Union Theological Seminary (best imagined as the Christian version of the main hall at Hogwarts)…
Alentejo-bashers (and there are a surprisingly large amount of these in the wine biz, from my experience) would’ve been somewhat beside themselves at this tasting; generally, the wines were very, very good, in many cases excellent, and, in a smaller number of cases, astounding. My highlights (regional notations indicate the relevant Alentejo subregion(s)):
2014 Joao Portugal Ramos ‘Vila Santa’ Reserva Branco (Estremoz, $NA)
A slightly unlikely blend of Arinto, Alvarinho, and Sauvignon Blanc, there’s much to love about the Vila Santa beyond its drink-it-all-day 12.5% abv. It’s chalky, stony, flinty, pithy, and chock full of stone fruit, lemon peel, and marmalade hints. And if you do happen to drink it night, save a bit; all that acid and aromatics will definitely wake you up in the AM.
2011 Quinta do Mouro Rotulo Dourado (Estremoz, $NA)
The “gold label” version of Mouro’s tinto is a mix of 48% Alicante Bouschet, 27% Aragonês, 16% Touriga Nacional, and 7% Cabernet Sauvignon. Floral, plummy, brambly, spicy, and punctuated by graphite notes, your nose will thank you for the adventure. While it’s burly now, the length, consistency, and structure suggest that this has yet to even reach its toddler phase.
  2007 Herdade do Mouchão Tinto (Sousel/Estremoz, $40)
I actually considered giving this the “Overachiever” tag, despite the fact that it’s over $35/bottle, because it’s that f*cking good. Mostly Alicante Bouschet with Trincadeira blended in, my tasting notes included the phrase “awesome sauce” and “strong kung-fu.” Thyme, graphite, dark cherries, bramble, mulberry, and enviable amounts of textural tension.
2013 Niepoort Projectos ‘Susana Esteban Procura’ Tinto (Portalegre, $45)
Alicante Bouschet makes another appearance here, but only as the predominant member of a larger field blend of traditional regional red varieties. Esteban is clearly at the top of her game; this is both plummy and lovely, with spices, rose petals, and layer upon layer of red berry fruit flavors that move from tart to brambly to ripe.
2011 Julio Bastos Dona Maria Gran Reserva Tinto (Borba, $32)
This blend is 50% Alicante Bouschet from what might be Portugal’s oldest vines of that variety, with Petite Verdot, Syrah, and Touriga Nacional rounding it out,. The AB is, apparently, tread by foot. The nose is smokey and meaty, and high-quality leather abounds, followed with bitter dark chocolate, graphite, and black licorice. Powerful and serious, inky and substantial, but yet somehow also fresh as a daisy.
2014 Cartuxa Pêra Manca Branco (Évora, $40)
Sure, you fellow geeks probably love the PM red, but when’s the last time that you had the white Antão Vaz and Arinto blend? And if it was recently, then WTF is up with you not inviting me? Apples, melons, and breadth; this is deceptive stuff, in that it certainly comes off as ripe/fruity/sexy, but that forwardness belies fascinating texture that make it ideal for fancier seafood fare.
Cheers!
