Any thoughts on Fang's slight name change for Sonic Superstars?

I think they could have done better than Fang the Hunter.

But I do understand the change - sniper never made much sense outside Archie where we actually see him working a proper rifle.

Overall though I think it's cute! I love that Nack & Jet are still acknowledged as having been monikers he's used in the past, and the headcanon that he changes his name often to throw off the authorities has been around for a long time so it's nice to see that vindicated!

I saw a take slandering Archie's portrayal of him when so far, between Trio of Trouble and the pages of FBB released so far, his personality seems largely the same?

He's always been a grumpy klutz who, despite everything, is still fairly competent at his job. People who don't understand that Fang's undoing is typically the result of him overlooking something due to his enormous ego/his pride never understood the character. I do love that they've kept him being afraid of Amy from ye old Archie days.

Anyway yeah, I absolutely adore how the name change has been implemented! It's really nice that his various names over the years have been canonized as various valid aliases he's used in the past! I may not touch this fandom much anymore but I still love my boy.

... Plus it vindicates me continuing to call him Doucheweasel and I'm still forever keeping that as my tag for him. :3

I think it’s kinda poetic. And hey, maybe getting beaten up by the leader of an apocalypse cult over how he treated his daughter will be a learning experience for Simultaneous.

If I had a dollar for every time we've discussed someone who can't meet Higa's extremely low moral standards, I'd have three dollars. Which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened thrice.
