Since today is the third anniversary of the Last Adventure"I know a lot of people are probably going to get a bit gloomy and talk about the day Ducktales 2017 ended and how say how they still missed the show. Meanwhile I'm just here going to be a bit happy and positive and by saying that today is also Happy Canon Dad Scrooge Day.

I made this collage on my apps PicsArt and SoftPink since around the end of December 2021. I believe. But I finally feel it's the time to show it since it feels perfect for the anniversary for the Ducktales series finale.

Quack Pack Kids (Preteens and Teenagers) and Young Adults (Boys and Girls) - My sketches -Game, Well-To-Do-Duck, Wild, Friend(s), Cultured, Emotional, Obscure and Nostalgic Duck (s) and FREE SPACE DUCKS (plus geese, parrots, rooster and pigeon) - Duckvember - Quack Pack AU and Duckverse (Donald Duck and Ze Carioca comics, Ducktales, Darkwing Duck and Quack Pack) - My style

After a long time, I finally drew my drawings, a newer edition, related to my favorite characters, primarily children (preteens and teenagers) and young adults. I was inspired by the brilliant Alessandro Gottardo, who draws Donald Duck and his family, friends and rivals and publishes them on his Instagram page, and who previously worked on Topolino comics, so he encouraged me to draw my favorite characters in my own way, modeled on his sketches, but this time as a Quack Pack version or as I would imagine them in a Quack Pack version (my version of Quack Pack AU). Since I didn't have time to do everything related to this year's Duckvember, I drew more characters related to multiple themes since it's hard to decide who belongs to whom, but in my own way. I would draw more characters, but I will do that another time, because these are not the only ones who would appear in Quack Pack AU. Yes, I combined Italian, Danish, Dutch, Brazilian comics, Ducktales 1987, Darkwing Duck and the original Quack Pack, in my own way to be in one gathering. Family and friends of Donald's nephews Huey, Dewey and Louie.

And I'm posting on the occasion of Universal Children's Day which is celebrated on November 20th (along with June 1st as an alternative date and the first Sunday of October as Children's Week), so Happy Children's Day! The three separate drawings I drew represent mostly preteens and teenagers as they would look in my Quack Pack version, since it wouldn't fit all in one drawing. The first drawing shows Huey, Dewey and Louie, April, May and June Duck, Gosalyn Mallard and Webby Vanderquack in my style (taking mostly the Topolino style). The second drawing shows boys and mostly features Phooey and Kablooie Duck, Honker Muddlefoot, Zico and Zeca Carioca (nephews of Jose Carioca), Newton Gearloose (Gyro's nephew), Sonny Seagull (Garvey Gull from the Egmont comics), Gene the Genie (more of a boy), Gustav Goose, Doofus Drake, Dugan Duck (Fethry's nephew), and Shamrock Gander (Gladstone's nephew). Yes, Kabooie Duck is Donald's fifth lost nephew and wears mostly brown clothes and is in between my version of Phooey and Honker. Gustav is a friend of Donald's nephews in the Quack Pack, but in my headcanon he is Gus's distant nephew. The third drawing shows girls and young women who are still adolescents, but now adults, more like in their late twenties. This refers to Dickie Duck (Goldie's granddaughter), Loretta MacBridge (Brigitta's niece) and Matilda De Spell (Magica's younger cousin) who is located in the lower part of the drawing. The others are teenage girls Minima De Spell (Magica's niece), Vanessa (a friend of Donald's nephews from the Area 15 comics and mostly Dewey's and Louie's girlfriend), Susie McGuider (from the Quack Pack "Ducks by Nature") and an unknown duck from the Quack Pack from the episode "Shrunken Heroes". Since she doesn't have a name, I decided in my headcanon to name her Dottie Duck and she is Daisy's distant niece who appeared once in an old comic, but is now a teenager. I hope you like this and like these versions.

Four years ago, on August 12th, 2017, came the Ducktales reboot that is loved by many fans to this day. It is a reboot that was done so right that it is a must watch for Disney fans out there. This reboot in general is a better reboot than teen Titans go, and the powerpuff girls. I actually prefer the reboot than the original version. Maybe Disney should make more reboots.

This show is absolutely and amazingly crafted. I even told my story of how I found this show back from 2020 and the third season got be so into it but all late, because it was confirmed to be the final season. Thanks a lot Drew Taylor.

Happy Anniversary Ducktales. And again, I highly recommend you check it out. If it’s not your cup of tea, I’ll respect you for it. May it’s legacy live on. And like how they always say: Everyday they’re out there making Ducktales. Woo-oo.

My eulogy for Ducktales (2017)

The following blog post you are about to read is a eulogy for the 2017 Ducktales series

I watched the 2017 reboot of Ducktales from 12th August 2017 (the year of the original series 30th anniversary) to 15th March 2021 and it was an amazing journey from start to finish, it was considered an alternative from worse reboots at that time like the infamous 2016 reboot of the powerpuff girls but it was more than that.

The 2017 take of Ducktales not only pays homage to the duck stories created by renowned “Duck” artist Carl barks and the original ducktales series but also to the whole Disney Afternoon block from the 90s

Developed by Matt Youngberg and Francisco Angones, these two animators were fans of the original series and give their take on it by updating the characters such as the triplets Huey, Dewey and Louie with different personalities which is different from the 1996 Quack pack and Webby who is better than her original counterpart as she is courageous and adventurous and admire Scrooge Mcduck as her idol especially turning Doofus Drake into a villain as his original counterpart is considered a hated figure even the creators of the reboot hate him more and have their take of Fenton/Gizmoduck as a positive Latin character since his voice actor and Hamilton star Lin-Manuel Miranda is Latino descent, They also bring Donald Duck as one of the main supporting characters of the series unlike his original 1987 counterpart where he only appears in some episodes of season 1.

The artwork of the character designs is inspired from Carl Barks artworks and painting including the designs of the original ducktales series. The series also have their take on the characters from various Disney afternoon shows like Darkwing Duck, Chip N Dale Rescue Rangers, Talespin and Goof Troop including reference from other Disney afternoon shows like the adventures of the Gummi Bears ,The Wuzzles and more including the one from the dark Disney cartoon series Gargoyles.

The 2017 series also included new characters such as Lena, Storkules and Violet and new villains like Mark Beaks, Lunaris and even Bradford Buzzard(the final big bad of the series),The series also give character development during its run such as Lena who is now independent from her villainous Aunt Magica and cares more about her friendship with Webby and Violet, Huey also learns to balance and control his aggressive side that is the “Duke of making a mess” with his intelligent side and Webby who wishes to be part of the duck family and is now considered as one even if she is revealed in the end the clone daughter of scrooge himself.

When the series isn’t renewed for another a fourth season which the creators of the reboot are aware of ,they tie up most of the loose ends, resolve character arcs in the third and final season and end the series off with bang.

The theme of the reboot revolves around family where at the start of the series the triplets believed their family are just dull and normal people but throughout the series run especially when their great uncle scrooge Mcduck is an adventurer they understand that their family are more than just ordinary people ,Another meaning of being a part of the family is that they will always stick around by your side especially to prevent you from dangerous situations even when you are not related and true to the premise of the series ‘Family is truly the greatest adventure of all’

So, thank you, Matt Youngberg and Francisco Angones for giving your modern take on the beloved carton classic that is Ducktales a truly great adventure.

Junior-Woodchuck74: The Drakes spent the majority of their parenthood enslaved in their own home and terrified of their son. They’re not exactly the pinnacle of perfect parenthood.

i listened to a bunch of various blackpink while making this (on if it's your last rn) so that's why that ending moment is there lmao. it's just a glimpse into my life i guess. it's also a fitting reference since i wrote a bunch of this during a writing sprint with friends (and i lost :( ) and they introduced me to almost all of the blackpink songs i know!

peep some sexuality headcanons!! I tried not to make them too overwhelming since I know a lot of people have different hcs, but they slipped in. It didn't make it in, but I hc that in addition to the no-label thing for genders, Scrooge is also demisexual and demiromantic!! I'm aroace so that means something to me. Also re: the bigot Webby and Fenton were talking about, I hc Violet is trans and Dewey is nb (thank the duckfalls server for that one). and lena is gay. but all headcanons are cool n valid and i'd love to hear some of yours!!

i unexpectedly got a really good response to this fic last week and i just want to say thank you!! it means so much to me that people like this fic and that people like my writing in general. i love all of you <3 i haven't responded to comments from last week yet cause energy but i promise i will i just need energy. but i read all of them and they were so sweet!! so thank you!!

in a similar vein, no penny pokemon plot this week cause the week slipped by and i forgot to message ppl about pokemon but i definitely will do that. it'll probably be back for next time. thank you so much to everyone who offered!! i'll probably take you guys up on that.

also thanks to the people on tumblr who gave me scrooge phrases. @just-sinag sent me an amazing video of all of scrooge's catchphrases from dt87 (which i didn't get to use this time unfortunately but definitely next time) which was really helpful, but everyone who replied to my post is really awesome and i appreciate it!!

in other news, my cat just meowed at the door while i'm writing this author's note and then jumped very cartoonishly when the door bumped against the wall. she's a little freaked out right now, poor baby. but i love her.
