So apparently there's a new Leg of Zeg game out and Link got an engineering degree while I wasn't looking. Good for him! Let's talk more Anime:
-A mysterious broadcast signal from the moon turns all humans on earth into stone! Several thousand years later, veteran Time Traveler Link pops out of his stone cocoon, decides that 'doing it the long way' sucks, and stomps off to rebuild civilization using random garbage and looney tunes physics.
-A terrible new form of space weapon called a "Mobile Suit" has been created- these child-controlled behemoths cut swathes of destruction as they wage a territorial space war, impervious to all but the most powerful weapons, and that one kid carrying a frankly improbable number of explosives and a smartphone that can manipulate inertia and electromegnetism (??), riding around on what appears to be a rocket-powered tractor.
-While out at summer camp Child of Destiny Link is suddenly transported to the Digital World, where an adorable little blob of an animal declares itself Link's Digimon Partner! No stranger to having a Weird, Loud little critter following him around, Link is slightly perplexed when the fat orb wants to fight the enormous monster on his behalf. Silly Digimon- that's HIS job! Grappling hooks his ass up to Devimon's castle and beats him to death with a tennis racket he found on the way.
-A mysterious book called a DEATHNOTE falls out of the sky in front of Link, who carefully reads the rules, and shrugs, because if he REALLY needs someone dead, He's going to want to do it in person, and Link has never given a shit about the police. He's gonna hang onto this book, because it looks like an important quest item, and Ryuk languishes in Links Inventory for the rest of the Series.
-The barbaric battles where legendary and historical figures are summoned to fight on behalf of Mages known as the Grail Wars are rudely interrupted when Link sees Iskandar, assumes it's Ganon AGAIN, and beats his way through the lineup to get to him, even besting Gilgamesh by putting the king's inventory skills to shame.
-Salt Middle School gets a new transfer student and Shigeo Kageyama is initially distraught by his teacher assigning HIM to show the New Kid around, but turns out, Link ALSO enjoys Milk, long amicable silences and complaining about getting into stupid battles with the multiverse's most magically overpowered and emotionally constipated Dumb asses. It's nice, to have a reliatively uncomplicated friendship for once.
I’ll cop to being, at best, a casual anime fan and an incidental nintendo fan like some sort of goose that got lost on migration and decided to stay for the catchy musical score but I’ve had a thought that’s been making me laugh for like 20 min now:
Replacing any Shonen Protagonist with Legend of Zelda’s Protagonist Horrible Klepto Gremlin and Professional Fightboy, Link.
Doesn’t matter which link beyond “what’s funniest in this particular scenario”. Maybe a specific Link, maybe an amalgamation of all Links into a superpowered multidimensional agent of Chaos. A HyperLink, if you will.
Then plop that bad boy down into the start of any Shonen anime and watch it go completely off the rails.
Juevenile Delinquent With A Heart Of Gold Link (really, could you imagine Link in a middle school setting? not for more than five minutes before he jumps out of the Designated Protagonist Window at the back of the classroom) dives in front of a car to save a small child’s life. Botan, the grim reaper in the form of a blue-haired anime hot chick, comes to explain his peculiar situation, only for him to get up halfway through the speech about Karma becuase he still, somehow, has half a heart left, baffling everyone.
Local Weirdo Link hangs out in a graveyard every night graverobbing Communing With The Spirits, until Some Nerd keeps getting him into weird situations and eventually he ends up on a plane to America to participate in some kind of tournament for godhood. They get all the way to the third round before anyone realized Link doesn’t have a spirit companion, he’s his own Kickass Sword Dude.
Famously Young Orphan Link attempts an arcane ritual to bring his mother back, only to be confronted with a Manifestation of all Knowledge In The Universe, who then attempts to take his limbs and a sibling. Link, who has kicked several gods and the actual spacetime continum in the dick before, does not stand for this Malarkey
Chronically Ill superhero Toshionori Yagi is looking for someone to take up the quirk One For All and is impressed by the courage of a young maniac attempting to protect the people of the town from a monstrous villain whilst armed with a pointed stick, and takes him on as his apprentice. Link, surprised to be starting with the Triforce of Power this time, is agreeable to this, and attends superhero high school in hopes of locating the triforces of Courage and Wisdom.
Related question: Is Link Literate? I know him through fragmentary playthroughs of Breath of The Wild, the one with the bird, and the one with the boat and I honestly don’t know if he can read.
Professional Monster Ass-Kicker and Sword Collector Link arrives in The Seritei and promptly goes after the Tall Dude With The Elaborate Hair That Monolouges About Power on the assumption he’s found Ganondorf again, and gives Zaraki Kenpachi the fight of his life.
The residents of the Village hidden in the lead poisoning Leaves avoid the blond boy with the rap sheet of misdemeanors a mile long and constant nonsensical yelling, assuming his strange ways are due to the fox spirit the previous Mayor of Murdertown stuffed into his intestines as a baby. Several Hundred Episodes, a completely destroyed chunin exam and a lot of screaming later, Kyubei comments “No, he’s Just Like That.”
Seto Kaiba, Professional Rich Bitch: “IT’S TIME TO DUEL!!” Seto Kaiba, about to learn what Consquences are “…What are you doing with that sword?”
The only Shonen Anime Link doesn’t completely send off the rails one way or another is the orginal Dragonball, becuase accepting an extensive and bizzare fetchquest from a random blue-haired chick is 100% in-character for any and all Links.

If you still would like some prompts to banish boredom:
Chained fetch quests / trading sequence
Thanks for the prompt! <3 I always love the loz trading sequences and writing about one was a lot of fun!
Fic beneath the cut
Time supresses a sigh as he stares down at the little white object in his hands. The woman who had “gifted” it to him is already gone, fading into the crowd of Castle Town.
Eggs and chickens. Why does it always start with poultry?
“Umm, that doesn’t look like a map to me,” Wild says, peering at the egg. “Did we talk to the wrong person?”
“Not likely.”
“Oh, no, we didn’t.” Legend holds out a hand and Time drops the egg into it. He holds it up with a grin. “A random person gifting us a random object? Classic start to a trading sequence.”
Warriors frowns. “Trading sequence?”
“Yes.” Time nods. “You trade one object for another and then give that object away as well. Usually, you continue until you have the item of value you had wanted in the first place.”
“Which, in our case,” Twilight says, “is the map to the treasure.”
“I see.” Warriors scans the crowds of people mulling about the street. “So, I’m guessing we have to find someone who wants a chicken egg.”
Wind puts a hand to his chin, thinking for a moment. Then, his eyes go wide with excitement. “Ooh, ooh, I know who needs an egg!”
“Then, let’s be on our way,” Time says. “The sooner, the better. These kinds of quests don’t go quickly.”
Sure enough, the man Wind leads them to is in the market for an egg. Overjoyed about gaining a new cuckoo, he gives them…
“A broom?”
Wind wrinkles his nose. “That’s a weird gift.”
Sky tilts his head, regarding it. “Huh, I know someone back home who could use one of these.”
“Yeah, but is there anyone here who wants one?” Four asks.
This time it's Warriors who speaks up. “I don’t know what the owner would say, but on the way here I saw a house in dire need of cleaning.”
Chuckling, Legend starts forward. “Nice job, pretty boy. I’m sure they’ll be so flattered when we show up at their doorstep with a broom.”
The owner is surprisingly more ecstatic than any of them expect.
“Oh, how wonderful!” she exclaims. “My last broom broke months ago and I’ve been meaning to buy a new one. Wait a moment, kind lads. I must give you something in return!”
This time they walk away with a large hunk of odoriferous cheese.
“Guess she took us for people who like cheese,” Warriors says, holding his nose. “Who on earth would want this thing?”
“A cook would covet it,” Twilight points out. “Goat cheese is one of the key ingredients of Yeto’s soup.”
Wild’s eyes light up. “I saw a restaurant on the way here! But it didn’t look like many people were eating there. Maybe they need a new recipe.”
A short walk through Castle Town and a conversation with one very despondent chef later, the heroes find themselves the proud owners of a “lucky” cooking pot.
(The chef, apparently, no longer needs to rely on superstition now that his creativity has been rejuvenated by the wondrous cheese.)
No sooner have they stepped out of the restaurant than Legend holds up a hand.
“I know who to give this one to.”
The recipient ends up being a small child in need of a drum set. The veteran plops the pot on the ground upside down, accepts the necklace the child offers him in return, and walks away, all while ignoring the looks his fellow heroes are giving him.
“I knew it,” Sky says, beaming, and Twilight can’t help but chuckle.
The necklace, it seems, is the final piece to the puzzle. Hyrule holds it gently, studying the delicate pendant.
“This contains powerful magic,” he says. “This necklace likely belongs to a sage or wizard.”
“Strange that a child had it,” Time remarks.
Beside him Warriors smirks and mumbles, “You can’t say much, Sprite.”
Time glares at him.
Four is reaching out to touch the necklace now, brows creased in a frown.
“We should be able to trace this back to its owner easily,” he says. “Magic always leaves a trail.”
Hyrule nods. “A simple location spell should be enough.”
He weaves it in seconds, and then they’re off again, following the invisible path the necklace has set before them.
In the end, it leads them to a cat.
They stare down at the little, white ball of floof, and it stares back at them.
“A…cat owns a magical pendant,” Warriors says, eyebrows raised. “That’s unusual.”
“Maybe the cat’s…not a cat?” Sky suggests, with a small shrug.
Legend shakes his head. “Usually, this kind of thing happens in dark worlds – dimensions that mirror our own.”
“But,” Twilight speaks up, “it’s not unheard of in the light world.”
He takes the necklace from Hyrule’s hands and steps forward. Dropping to one knee, he holds it out.
“Does this belong to you?”
The cat’s eyes flick from the necklace to him and back again. Then, it stretches out a tentative paw.
There’s a flash of light and in the next moment, a woman stands before them, looking a bit frazzled and very relieved.
“Thank you,” she breathes, fastening the necklace. “When this was stolen from me I despaired of ever returning to my human form. I suppose, however, all I needed was the help of some dashing heroes.”
She lifts an eyebrow. “You seek the map to the treasure, do you not? Well, you have proven yourselves worthy of it.”
A flick of her finger and the worn parchment appears, floating down to rest in Twilight’s hands. No sooner has it touched his fingertips than the woman is gone in a puff of smoke.
“Wow….” Wild says. “That was weird.”
Time smirks. “Trading sequences will bring you into contact with all manner of oddities.”
“Come on.” Legend turns, away. “Now that that's over we can get out of here.”
“Yeah,” Wind exclaims, “we’ve got treasure to find!”
Eagerly, he rushes ahead and his companions don’t spare a moment in following.

going off that last ask: loz/yazoo character opinion? i wanna read your thoughts!
Ohooooo, I was waiting for something like this!!! Thank you, Vee :) I’ll do my best to explain <333
Starting off with Yazoo:
First impression: Calm, level-headed, perhaps a bit shy. What surprised me the first time watching was how deep his voice was. He’s got this grace about him that leaves you simply... staring. I interpreted the introductory scene where Loz nearly cries and Yaz tells him not to as comforting-- Which I think is what a good chunk of Rem fans see it as? Overall, pretty, but not much else.
Impression now: I think he’s fucking ruthless under that dainty face, if you ask me. Honestly, it’d be right in line with Sephiroth. I think out of the both of his brothers, he gets along better with Kadaj, but if he wasn’t around, I doubt Yazoo would have nearly enough investment in their quest. He comes across as apathetic and uncompassionate, perhaps even a little haughty. I feel like his relationship with Loz is tolerable at best, and downright acidic at worst. With Loz being the way he is, I wouldn’t be surprised if Yazoo and Kadaj had to keep an eye on him at all times, just in case. I feel, though, at the end of the day Yazoo does care about his brothers, and would risk his life for them. It’s in his bones, and he can’t help it, whether he likes it or not. Still very pretty though, lmao.
Favourite moment: Been forever sinced I watched Advent Children, and, unfortunately, Yazoo my beloved doesn’t get many scenes. I’ll have to go with the introductory scene, as it gives us an idea of who they are and what their dynamic is like right off the bat.
Idea for a story: I feel like any story with Yazoo inevitably ends up involving Loz, so I’ll make a joint bullet-point for them at the end of the post <3
Unpopular opinion: Mmm, probably the more apathetic, if not downright spiteful characterisation. If my friend @vesaniens’s experience is to be believed, then at least Back In Her Day it was far more common for Yazoo and Loz to be buddy-buddy while Kadaj goes off and does his own thing. I can see the appeal in that dynamic, and understand where it comes from. There’s alot of ways you can interpret ‘don’t cry, Loz,‘ and as it is the introductory scene, however you do sets down the foundation for all that follows.
Favourite relationship: The Remnants aren’t characters I can find preferable ships for in-canon, so romantic is off the table here. I will say, though, a dynamic where Genesis and Yazoo are mentor and mentee would be downright tooth-rotting. Genesis preening him, taking him out to nice places, showing him fine literature-- I love it! I don’t see much talk about how the Remnants would relate to Gen and Geal, and I think that’s a damn shame. Plus, Yazoo can then quietly rub it in either of his brothers’ faces whenever he gets annoyed with them. To pick another, though, definitely him and Loz-- Especially if it is strained. It’s very clear they’re meant to contrast each other. Yazoo is lithe, subtle and venemous; Loz is big, loud and sensitive. I personally have a huge soft spot for fics where they recouncile their differences and learn to truly love each other.
Favourite headcanon: Honestly, I feel like I need to make a general headcanon post for the Rems as a whole. They’re all inherently tied, so a change to one of them usually affects the other two. To touch up on one from a theory I read about a year ago now(God, has it been that long?), I like the idea that the Remnants got a little bit of Genesis and Angeal mixed in. They’re like 90% Seph, give or take, but the other 10%~? Now that’s where the fun begins baby!!! In this case, the donor would be Genesis, and Yazoo would’ve gotten the more passive-aggressive, snarky, preening aspects of his character. The resentment and feelings of inferiority towards Sephiroth end up getting mixed into Kadaj, however I don’t want to elaborate on this too long lest I go off-topic. On a more crack-heavy note, I feel like if you waved a laser-pointer in front of him, he’d be transfixed. He’s too dignified to actually leap at it... But he likes watching :)
Now, as for Loz:
First impression: Big phuckign himbo, idiotte of a man. Probably can’t even buckle his own boots. Playtime??? Bitch NO, it’s not playtime! WHY ARE YOU CRYING??? But yeah, my initial view fell alot more in line with what I think is the most common interpretation of him. His excecution leans heavily to Big Dumb Idiot Man Who Cries When He Sees A Duckling.
Impression now: Baby. Poor fucking baby. Honestly, that could be said for all the Remnants, but I don’t think Loz’s struggle is discussed nearly enough. I’ve talked about this before, but, for me, it’s painfully clear that Loz is essentially a child in a grown man’s body. Writer Kazushige Nojima has Loz’s lines about playing during his fight with Tifa were based off his own son, and has described him as “missing a little something upstairs” --And looking at him through that lens, things become alot more disturbing. He’s Sephiroth’s love for Jenova; a doting, yearning, infantilising love. There’s an innocence to Loz, something sweet, something light and airy-- And to have him fight, have him torture, have him kill... just, man. This jarring dichotomy between such hulking, brutal strength, this bringer of destruction, and this kid who wants his mother. Is he aware? Does he truly understand the weight of his actions? Can he? Most of this, admittedly, is a bit of a stretch, but I love this doof alot jhdhjfdjhs can you blame me?
Favourite moment: Oh, definitely the crying scene-- You must be real tired of hearing that again. Though, in Loz’s case, it sets up his sensitivity, and his dynamic with his brothers-- Yazoo in particular.
Idea for a story: Same answer as Yaz.
Unpopular opinion: I think my more infantile view of Loz as a whole is semi-unpopular? Fandom seems pretty split on whether he’s just a himbo or actual babyman. Again, hard to tell, what with most Rem content and discussion being several years old and tricky to find. I’d be curious to have a discussion on this! But yeah, if we’re talking about the wider fanbase, I think my intense appreciation of him is definitely unusual. Alot of OG fans see the Rems as tropey villains, and while I will argue that it makes sense considering they’re fragments of a bigger, badder, more complex villain, I don’t think Loz is nearly as shallow as most would have you believe.
Favourite relationship: As discussed with Yazoo, there aren’t any canon characters I consistently ship the Remnants with -- Especially not for Loz, in particular when viewing him through that youthful lens -- Though as with everything, I am flexible :) On the platonic side... Honestly, I think Loz would just be a big softie who hangs around everyone. If Angeal was baking, Loz would definitely chip in to help, though he might cause more trouble than if he stayed aside. I think he’d try and reach out to Sephiroth, only for his affections to be rejected because the latter is Bad With Emotions and is torn between on whether the Remnants are a nuisance he hands off to his old friends or his children who he wants to scoop up and carry off into the vast cosmos.
Favourite headcanon: Loz eats alot of shit he isn’t meant to. Like, shit that would kill twenty grown men. At least once he has mistaken stinging nettle for mint, and spent the next two or three days scraping his tongue constantly. Would chase a ball if thrown, no questions asked; try playing frisbee with this dude, and you’ll end up on the other side of town by the end of it. If you try and pick him up, he just slumps, like a big, brawny ragdoll cat-- Probably purrs like one, too. Definitely appreciates a good scratch behind the ear :)
There’s like... probably mountains more, but this is what I’ve been able to coax out after a day of writing this on and off. Again, thank you so much for asking!! I’ve been meaning to ramble about the Remnants for ages now, but didn’t know how to go about it.
Aight, as promised:
Story idea: This is one I’ve had on my mind for years now. I haven’t gotten around to it, as it’d require greater familiarity with FFVII’s world as a whole, but the premise is that Yazoo and Loz escape far out into the countryside, and end up in a village. Yazoo soon falls ill, and Loz has to provide a living working for a local farmer. Their dynamic is initially strained, and without Kadaj to hold them together, they nearly end up splitting before arrival. As time passes, and as they grow closer to the community, Yazoo’s grumbles fade into concerned murmers. Slowly, he begins to trust Loz more, and Loz learns to take more responsibility. But as their friendship blossoms, Yazoo’s body withers. Bedbound, he wonders how Loz would fare without him, if he could make it. I imagine this ends up leading to Loz deliberately blowing their cover to get needed medical help from WRO, turning themselves in during the process.
Again, there’s probably more to it, but to be honest even I don’t know. That’s the great thing about creativity :) You never know where you end up!
Thank you for asking, and feel free to ask more if you’re curious! This goes for elaboration on characters already asked, certain headcanons, and even pairings! Also, feel free to add on with your own thoughts! Whether they be additions, refutations, or so on. Fandom discussion(provided it’s civil qwq) can be so much fun!

Y’know, there are a lot of narrative choices and tropes that I outright hate with a fiery passion. Veritable plateaus of text have been dedicated to pointing out why and how stories that use them can be made better. And “super bloodlines” or whatever you want to call it, is one of the biggest offenders. It irritates me to no end when writers can’t let their person be special on their own merit. Everyone has to be connected to some kind of magical bloodline. This hero was able to vanquish the hero because they’re from a long line of special people. This woman can talk to the planet and she’s the ONLY ONE who can because it’s a thing only her race can do, and the rest of her race is dead. This villain was inevitably going to become the sixth ranger because they belong to bloodline that is always Good™ or is SURPRISE! the sibling of one of the heroes. This horse is more BEAUTIFUL and SPECIAL than all the other horses because it’s the descendant of the horse ridden by a PRINCESS (really???). Yeah. You get my drift.
But when bloodlines are (actually or just hinted at being) in the backdrop of a story, with no special privileges bestowed because of it, I don’t mind. So when I was examining the maps of A Link to the Past and The Minish Cap together (which I originally only did to look for similarities between those two and the LoZ map, hi, welcome to how we do things around here, my trails of thought are split ends and those split ends have split ends and you get it) and trying to find more than a few similarities to back up two of my previous theories (I need help, somebody throw down a rope), and I found something that made me throw them off of the stove completely, I wasn’t at all bothered by the idea of the two little dudes who make the Master Sword red being descended from Minish Cap Link. Instead, I just used that thought to further fuel my digging into the theory I’ll lay out before you.
Now, with that absurdly long and unnecessary intro out of the way, I hope you enjoy. XD
Picture, if you will, a cozy little house surrounded by trees. It’s also a smithy, where the sound of metalworking can be heard from closeby. To the west of this house is a body of water stretching from North to South. If you walk North of the house, you’ll eventually come across a road that runs from East to West. Not far Northwest from that point, you’ll find a place called the Lost Woods.
Now, what did I just describe? The home of Smith and his grandson? Or the home of two tiny blacksmiths who helped the Hero of Legend stop the Cataclysm by strengthening the blade of evil’s bane?
And no, no, no, don’t worry, I’m not asking you to believe that the Lost Woods in ALttP is the same as the “Lost Woods” South of the Royal Valley in TMC. That would be silly, right? Hahaaa. No. I’m asking you to believe that it’s part of it. The Northwestern part, that is. Sort of. Around that area. Look, if some of these map theorists out here can swivel maps diagonally and flip them completely around to make them fit together, I can be vague about some thick woods, okay? (No hate, I love you guys, keep doing what you’re doing) *ahem* So yeah.
Let’s zoom out from that tiny scenario I was describing earlier. The idea is that the first Hyrule Castle¹ is around the area where the “Bumpkin Family” house and the Eastern part of the Lost Woods is. North Hyrule Field would be South of that, and Hyrule Town, whether you want it to be the same as or separate from OoT’s Castle Town, would be just South of that (the road running East to West, under the fortune teller’s place, would be the same road as the one just South of the town gate in TMC)
Yes, this means that ALttP’s Kakariko is where the Trilby Highlands/Western Wood used to be (and a little bit where TMC’s Hyrule Town is), which ALSO means that Wind Ruins, Castor Wilds, and Mt. Crenel are just West of all that, putting it just outside the ALttP map² (conveniently out of the way - sorry I love all three of you, you’re wonderful, mwah). This also means that Veil Falls would’ve been just about at the Westernmost parts of that gigantic mountain range thing in ALttP they call Death Mountain, which I’m okay with. Also means the Minish Woods was around where the Sanctuary and Hyrule Castle are in ALttP. Ouch. But I mean, it’s not the most devastating thing the Hylians have done, so moving on. Also, the first Lon Lon Ranch would be in the Death Mountain foothills, to the West.
So, why do I like this idea so much? First, it aligns pretty neatly with the idea that the Master Sword grove in ALttP is where the Temple of Time used to be - at least, to me. But I’m also of the opinion that the Temple of Time/Sacred Grove/Lost Woods grove area are all the same - meaning that’s also where the Sealed Grounds was - and it never changed. Um... No matter what other theories I come up with/entertain, that’s always gonna be the case, I can pretty much guarantee. I just don’t like the theory that the Temple of Time was moved. Granted, I’m more okay with that idea in this timeline than in the Child Timeline, because in the Child Timeline the Hero of Time prophecy still has never come to pass, it’s still a sort of messianic legend the people believe strongly in, and even though the royal family has been told of the whole time-travel shenanigans thing, ha ha haaaaaaaaa... I don’t think they’d be able to convince an entire society that there was no longer need for that five-piece seal. The descendants of the ones entrusted with the keys are probably still clutching them tightly to this very day... Actually what am I talking about? All that stuff is forgotten about, shrouded in the mists of time and whatnot. Whoops, guess this green and shining stone can fetch me a pretty penny at the pawn shop... ANYWAY. We’re here for the Fallen Timeline right now, so let’s FOCUS.
Another part of all this is my old theory... hypothesis?... idea? that the Sealed Temple/Temple of the Goddess, and later the Temple of Time that was build where that used to stand, were somewhere behind/within the castle in TMC (not in the game, obviously, but you know how this works). The reason I believe this, is because TMC happens at a time when Hyrule is a young kingdom. It has literally one town and everything else around it is all wild lands, as far as they’re concerned. It’s obvious that they’ve only just settled there in the past few centuries, and I doubt they would stray far from the place where they first touched down.
So. If the Temple of Time is where the Master Sword grove is later, that would put OoT’s Hyrule Castle North of the ALttP map, Market where the Lost Woods eventually grows, Hyrule Field/the second Lon Lon Ranch in the Southern Lost Woods plus where ALttP’s Kakariko is built and the surrounding area (which also means Ordon Village is around the second Kakariko area in the Child Timeline. Amazing. No matter what happens, that land WILL be repurposed into village land. Except in the Adult Timeline, it’s been destroyed, bye-bye), and mayyyybe the Desert of Mystery where OoT’s Lake Hylia was??? Although this also means I could’ve been wrong all these years about the Minish Woods: Maybe they ARE where the OoT Lost Woods are after all. Hmmm. Honestly I still personally prefer the idea of OoT’s Lost Woods being where the Eastern Palace area is in ALttP. Lots of deforestation no matter where my theories go... That’s depressing. Hylians, stop being jerks. At least they’re less jerks than humans have historically been to each other. So far. I can only prove their oppression of AT MOST three and a half races so far, so honestly, we’re looking at an improved world here.
Ummmm I think that was about it. Did I have anything else before I zoom into the notes? No? Alrighty let’s wrap this up!
¹ When I first played TMC, I had no problem thinking that Hyrule Castle and the one in OoT were the same, Hyrule Town became Castle Town, and the Minish Woods are located in some indeterminate woodland somewhere between Castle Town and Kakariko. But like I said, I’ve become partial to the idea that the Temple of Time is behind/around the castle in TMC, not shown, out of sight, protected, so I theorized them building a new castle elsewhere. Then again, that idea comes from the idea of the Temple of Time being built over the Sealed Grounds, and that hasn’t been shown or said in-game yet, so both options are valid to me I guess. I love Historia, and I take its word with more salt than Encyclopedia, but still not enough to season my stuffed pumpkins on a Monday night. ...I still believe wholeheartedly that Hyrule Castle in TP is a completely different castle up North from where the original one - and the town, and the Temple of Time - were in OoT, and TP’s Lake Hylia is not the same Lake Hylia, and Arbiter’s Grounds/the more “Western” style Gerudo desert is North of the OoT desert, etc., and you’ll never be able to pry that belief out of my cold, dead, fingers, so don’t even try. Er... I mean... ... Golly, you guys, aren’t hypotheses fun? ^__^
² Which I’m thinking would mean Mt. Crenel is just North of Gerudo Valley, maybe even a mountain or cliff you can see in-game, and Castor Wilds would maybe eventually be the land the river runs through in the canyon below. Or... part of said land. Who knows. Ah man now I wanna make my Link (from Peace of Heart) jump down from the Gerudo Valley bridge with her Roc’s Cape and glide down to the Wind Ruins all cool and stuff! <<33 Just kidding, Gerudo Valley is no longer exactly there in that fic, in fact Gerudo haven’t been in that area in ages. It’s... a long story. In more than one meaning of the phrase. ANYWAY.
Alternatives: Smith’s House TMC is Link’s House ALttP - this is not a new idea, I don’t think. I’ve seen other people propose it, it’s a great idea, my idea is just this but like, scooched over a little. I’m sorry, I never claimed to be original. XDD The great thing about both of these theories is that they put Syrup’s hut pretty much around the point where it is in both ALttP and TMC, if you think about it.
Hyrule Town TMC is Hyrule Castle ALttP - this also works? Kind of? Except it doesn’t give a lot of room North of the castle for the stuff that should be there (although that’s explain-away-able if you take the “the mountain formed over the ages” route, which I personally like, because I like the idea that OoT Kakariko was around where the Sanctuary/Graveyard is in ALttP and then a series of volcanic eruptions happened, resulting in the formation of the Westernmost mountain and also the destruction of the original Kakariko and the village moving Southwest. ...I’m sorry).
That’s all I have for you today (I’m pretty sure I didn’t miss anything) and to my followers, I am really sorry I’m never around anymore. I have no excuse. Please forgive me. I’ll try to make some posts about my recent LoZ misadventures, but... No promises, okay? Let’s take it one day at a time. However, you CAN follow me here to actually watch some of those misadventures, so there’s that! ^__^
Until next time, have fun, stay safe, and drink water! PACE~

Stiles falls into a patch of poison ivy in the Preserve (in his defense, it's not supposed to BE in California at all.) Cue Scott scrubbing him down with detergent and exfoliant, and then careful, tender application of calamine lotion. Just buddies being dudes, right? Except Stiles can't get the memory of Scott's hands on him out of his head.
Loz. This fic turned out to be over 3 times longer than it was supposed to be. I’m still not sure I did your prompt justice, but thank you for being patient with me.
“This is torture,” Stiles groused.
“Scratching is just going to make it worse, dude,” Scott said as they made it back safely to their tiny, two-bedroom apartment. He scrolled through his phone looking for info on poison ivy. And based on Stiles’s description, it was definitely poison ivy and not the far-more-likely poison oak. Because Stiles had the kind of luck that allowed him to find the lone patch of poison ivy in all of California.
“That’s easy for you to say. You’re not the one whose skin feels like there are thousands of fire ants crawling all over. Oh, my God! This is the worst!” He flung both of his shirts to the living room floor and stalked to the bathroom, where he could finally get a good look at his splotchy chest in the mirror. He cringed at the sight. “The. Worst.”
Hours ago, he and Scott were out in the Preserve following up on a very credible report of a Bigfoot sighting. Being a freshly-minted FBI Agent meant Stiles had to investigate stuff like this in the event there were real X-Files somewhere (he was pretty sure they existed, even though his more senior colleagues gave him weird looks whenever he asked). Unfortunately, they never found Bigfoot. But somewhere along the trail, Stiles tripped and fell onto what he thought was a normal bush. The itching didn’t start until the ride back home. It only got worse from there.
Maybe the mere presence of poison ivy in California was the real X-File all along. It’s something that certainly required investigation. By someone who wasn’t him.
Scott followed Stiles into the bathroom, tutting in sympathy once he saw Stiles’s bare chest. But then he cocked his head a little to the side in confusion. “Okay, how the hell did you get rashes under two shirts? It looks like you just stuffed a bunch of poison ivy under them.”
“I don’t know,” Stiles whined. The bathroom was too small for the both of them to comfortably be in there. They weren’t smushed, but it was close. It made Stiles feel funny in ways that had nothing to do with itchy plants.
Stiles made an absent-minded attempt to scratch his chest, but Scott swatted his hand away.
“Ow!”
“Turn around. Let me see your back.”
Stiles did as he was told. His hips knocked into Scott’s on the way around. The funny feeling only intensified.
Scott let out a soft gasp. “Oh, man.”
“What? Is it bad?”
Stiles felt Scott brush his fingers gently across a spot on his back. The incessant itch briefly gave way to an involuntary shiver.
“Um. Well. Let’s just say I’ve seen pepperoni pizzas with clearer complexions.”
“I know you’re used to your patients having four legs, fur, and barking to communicate, but your bedside manner for humans sucks ba-aahhhhhh…” The itching all over Stiles’s body ceased almost immediately.
“How’s my bedside manner, now?” Scott asked a little too smugly.
The sound Stiles made was somewhere between a moan and a sob. “The absolute best. I love you.” Thanks to the pain drain (itch ditch?) Scott so graciously administered, Stiles no longer felt like separating himself from his own skin.
Scott directed Stiles to sit on the edge of the tub, and proceeded to rummage through their medicine cabinet for supplies to clean and disinfect the rashes all over Stiles’s back. This involved touching. Lots of touching. And with the distraction of the horrendous itch reduced, Stiles couldn’t block out the feeling of Scott’s fingers on his bare skin. They felt good roaming all over his exposed back. They also felt good good, and Stiles really didn’t want to have to explain the confused boner he knew was just waiting to pop up at the worst moment. With how his luck was going, that was a distinct possibility.
“Are you okay? Your heart rate is through the roof right now,” Scott said.
Knowing Scott could easily hear the lie he wanted to tell, Stiles decided to go with something a little closer to the truth. “I’ve been better, dude.”
Scott patted his arm. “I’ll get the calamine and finish up back here, then you can do your front. We’ll be through in no time. If the itching flares up again, I can help you out with it, if you want.”
Though grateful for the itch relief, Stiles hated when Scott put that kind of strain on himself. They hadn’t discussed it, but Stiles knew Scott was doing it for the animals at work who needed it. Sometimes that was a lot.
“Thanks, but the calamine should be enough, right? I’ll manage.”
“You sure?” Scott asked as he trailed his fingers along Stiles’s side in a spot he very well knew was incredibly ticklish. “It’s really not a problem for me.”
“Scott, I swear to God, don’t you dare do what I think you’re about to do,” Stiles warned.
“What?” No one did fake innocent like Scott McCall did fake innocent. Stiles loved it.
“Just get the calamine, and no tickling, you dweeb,” Stiles said with no real heat. He couldn’t see Scott, but he knew Scott was smiling to himself.
The lotion was shockingly cold, and Stiles flinched a bit when it made first contact with his raw skin. Between Scott’s hand and Stiles’s back, though, it warmed pretty quickly and started feeling more like a massage than basic first aid. After the shit-tastic day he’d had, Stiles found it was way too easy to just…drift…
“…probably going to blister later, so try your best to keep it clean. You might have to sleep sitting up. If it gets worse, we’ll head straight to the ER. I’ll fill mom in, too. Oh, and you need to wash the clothes you’re wearing. Don’t forget the shirts in the living room. And I’ll wash mine too, just in case.”
Stiles’s brain barely processed any of what Scott said, but it sounded important. “Thanks, Dr. McCall,” he replied.
Scott handed him the lotion and hurried out of the bathroom, presumably to get started on the stuff he had to do.
With Scott gone, Stiles felt like he could finally breathe normally. He made quick work of his torso, and now that he felt significantly better, Stiles very gingerly went to help Scott.
***
Sleep was impossible. Stiles couldn’t find a sitting position comfortable enough without getting calamine lotion everywhere. He couldn’t put a shirt on or a blanket over himself, so add “cold” to the list of reasons why he couldn’t sleep. But that wasn’t the worst part. Every time Stiles closed his eyes, his thoughts went back to Scott’s hands on him, fingers roaming with the lightest pressure, just enough to make Stiles wonder what it would be like if Scott touched him for real. He could always claim curiosity, but who was he kidding? This wasn’t the first time he’d pictured Scott’s fingers brushing a nipple or slipping beneath his boxers’ waistband. A more mature person would deal with the situation head-on. Stiles, however, was not that person.
Sometime around 2am, the calamine wore off. There was no way Stiles would be able to reach his back to reapply the soothing lotion. With the itch rising in intensity with each passing second, and the impulse to scratch becoming harder and harder to fight, Stiles realized he had a very difficult decision to make.
***
Scott’s door was cracked. Stiles peeked in and saw Scott curled up beneath his covers and sleeping like a baby. He really hated having to do this.
“Scott?” he whispered into the dark bedroom.
No response.
He tried again, this time stepping into the room. “Scott? I kinda need you right now, buddy.”
Scott stirred. “Stiles?” he asked sleepily.
“Yeah, it’s me. I’m sorry to wake you, but the itch came back, and-”
He couldn’t get the whole sentence out before Scott threw back a corner of his covers and scooted over to make room for Stiles in the bed.
“Are you sure? I mean, I’m sticky with this calamine crap, and I don’t want to ruin your sheets.”
“I can wash them later. C’mon, get in here.” Scott patted the empty spot next to him. He wasn’t fully awake and hadn’t sat up, yet, but he still wanted to help. A tiny part of Stiles wondered if he wasn’t taking advantage of Scott’s generosity.
The miserable urge to scratch kept gnawing at him, though.
“Okay.” Scott’s sheets were pleasantly sleep-warm under Stiles’s butt, and his headboard? Surprisingly comfortable. If he had to sleep sitting up, this was definitely the best way to do it.
Scott’s hand found his in the darkness. The itch was gone a few moments later.
“Thanks, man,” Stiles sighed. Relief flooded through his veins and radiated across his skin. For the first time that night, Stiles felt like he could relax and get some sleep.
“Stiles?” Scott asked, giving his hand a little squeeze.
“Hmm?”
“No more Bigfoot tips, okay?”
Of all Scott’s touches so far, this one had to be Stiles’s favorite, and if it meant not getting to fall asleep with the soft weight of Scott’s hand in his, Stiles wasn’t so sure he could agree to that.
“Sure thing,” Stiles said knowing full well he didn’t mean it.
Scott burrowed a little deeper into his covers, never letting go of Stiles’s hand. “Finally got you in my bed, though,” he slurred into his pillow before letting out a soft snore.
Yawning, Stiles felt his eyelids droop. Blissful sleep was just around the cor-
Stiles’s head whipped around. Wait, what did Scott just say…?

What inspired you to make a kh oc and where were they in kh3? 😮
Oh man, it’s really hard to answer this question concisely. I’m going to give a short and to the point answer, but then will go into my longer more rambling, emotional answer beneath it. Thank you so much for asking! I love thinking about these sorts of things.
Basically, I’ve always created OCs in my head for any game, book, movie, or show I take part in enjoying. I’ve done it since I was a little girl and those OCs of mine really helped me through my childhood (long story lol). So when I got to playing the Kingdom Hearts series, it was an automatic thing to have an OC that was part of the fun.
As for the OCs in KH3. I don’t know entirely where they will be, due to the game not being released yet, but I do have ideas and plans. I won’t go into them for my short answer, because major SPOILERS for my readers.
————————————————–
Ok! Long answer time!
As I stated above, I would make OCs for basically anything. Some of them were really great, while others… not so great haha! My very first original character though, was from Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. That game helped me through a really hard time in my childhood and is the game that got me into gaming in general. The character I created was the Princess of the Gerudo, daughter to Ganondorf and Queen Nabooru. And her name was Alayna (keep in mind I was 7, so I am fully aware that her name doesn’t fit AT ALL lol!). She had long, bright red hair, golden eyes, and was trained in the art of dao blades, as all Gerudo are. She helped Link when he was captured by her people and is also on a mission to take down her father, so she joins him on his quest. It was a ton of fun for my young mind to imagine and write little stories about.
The funny thing, is that after playing through that game dozens of times, the more I realized that Alayna didn’t fit. Something was off about her. I always created new characters for each show and game, but then when I was introduced to Kingdom Hearts, Alayna suddenly appeared in the game (in my head of course). And surprisingly, she fit perfectly! Of course, when it became time for me to actually write her story, her name changed to Hinata, and the rest is history!
Now what inspired me to write her story, was actually a Mass Effect fanfiction I read on Fanfiction.net. I was pretty new to fanfiction in general and I was incredibly picky with it. But then there was this one that just… it blew my mind. From beginning to end I was smitten and it helped me through a time where I was just dealing with so much depression and loneliness. I reached out to the author and it was such a surreal experience to be able to actually talk to the person that had written such an amazing story. And it was shortly after finishing it that I decided that I wanted to try to do the same thing. Of course… at the time, I hadn’t written anything original in years, but I didn’t let that stop me.
I just started writing, like a crazy woman. And if you read the original True Friends, it is QUITE obvious that I was new to all of it. I considered writing a Mass Effect fanfic, but I thought that the story I had read was already everything I would ever want to read for ME. So, I went for Kingdom Hearts, because I wasn’t finding anything that was about what I wanted to read. I can find all sorts of things now, since I know what to look for and have made so many wonderful friends that also write amazing fanfiction, but at the time, I wanted to write something I wanted to read. And maybe, I could eventually impact people the same way that ME fic did for me. 3 and a half years later, I’m three books into this and I can’t even imagine Hinata back in the LoZ universe anymore. I’ve met amazing people through my writing and it’s been an amazing journey!
I hope that sort of answers your question! Now onto the second question.
***Warning to readers, spoilers below***
So I have a little misfit crew of characters that are traveling the Universe in my third story, “The Forgotten Traveler”, which goes through the entirety of KH2. We have Hinata (main OC), Sam (from Montressor- Treasure Planet), Ben (The Robot from Treasure Planet), and Velcia (From Thebes-Olympus). They travel on the Highwind, a custom ship Hinata had built when she was stranded on Montressor for about 5 months in the second book, “Third Beginning”.
Right now (Kh2) they are training and trying to track down a Replica/Clone of Hinata, named Thaanix, who has already killed dozens of people, including one of my main characters. The entire journey is going to bring them together as a unit and a team, and once they finish their mission, it is expected of them to go back to their homeworlds.
However, Sam’s already decided that she doesn’t want to go back to Montressor. She’s lost basically everything at this point that made Montressor a home and doesn’t care about the world order, borders, or even the timelines. Velcia, who has a Keyblade that has lost its magic, is able to bypass the borders and allow them passage with her own magic, and also has nothing waiting for her back in Thebes. SO for DDD and KH3, they travel on their own, occasionally bringing Hinata with them along on missions when she’s not busy with Riku or other things. They mostly just explore, helping people out when they need it, and taking out Heartless/Nobodies. Once the Keyblade War starts to come into play, they’ll come help out with that. I’m not sure exactly how yet, really depends on how the game plays out.
Thanks again for asking! I apologize for my long winded answer.
Also! If anyone would be interested to read the fanfic I was talking about:https://www.fanfiction.net/s/10045824/1/Moments-In-Between

@iaikais I didn’t think it was rude at all!!
But.
Ooooooh I hate this.
I mean, obviously I love it because YES, but I hate it because NO don’t you dare kill my boy.
But this would make so much sense, and would actually fit well with Option A in some capacity. Or could be a blend of the two. Because loz is nothing if not a bunch of timeline madness, consider this:
Final showdown with Dark happens. Wild sacrifices himself (I like the idea of him sacrificing himself for 10k. It’s painful but good), maybe because this being after botw2 he learned something on that quest that makes him realize he HAS to do this. He HAS to sacrifice himself for 10k.
So he does.
The LU quest finishes for all the other Links. They mourn Wild, then are returned to their respective timelines where they live out their lives, some happier than others. Sky and his Zelda found Hyrule and become the first of its royal line. Time and Malon have their kids. Etc.
But obviously they never forget Wild. And maybe this could actually play a part in Time becoming the Hero’s Shade later on, adding to part of his regret. Maybe he wants to train a future Twilight, to increase a possibility of Wild surviving later on. (He knows it won’t work like that, the goddesses aren’t that kind, but he can hope).
Eventually they all pass on into the afterlife or loz equivalent. Here... I’m tossing around a couple of options for what could happen here.
A) Hylia or the other three goddesses show up and say something like “we need you to go back to the world of the living for this reason etc” and, well, they don’t have much choice in the matter so they do.
B) [i think I like this one] they reunite with their Wild. It’s a bittersweet, happy/sad reunion with hundreds of apologies on both sides. Once they’ve had their fill of that, though, Wild tells them he has a favor to ask, and that it’s involved with something he never told them before.
So he tells them the story about these eight strange people he met pre-calamity (in death his memories finally all returned). He says these strangers all felt very familiar to him - looked very familiar to him and like him, for that matter. He says that he met them only a short time before the Calamity, but the short time he spent with them then was the most free he had felt since even before his young 12 y/o self pulled the sword. After learning that these 8 people are basically the past reincarnations of the Hero Spirit, he asks for a favor. He says that in various locations they had found other smaller Divine Beasts, but had no one to pilot them, because these Beasts were picky and wouldn’t react to any of the test pilots they had. In fact they would only really react to him, but obviously in the fight against Ganon he couldn’t pilot a divine beast when he needed to be on the ground fighting alongside the princess.
So his younger self had asked these 8 people who are all also Link to pilot these divine beasts and help protect areas of Hyrule once Calamity Ganon did return.
Wild would apologize here I think, because he didn’t know what his younger self was asking his friends to do.
100 years later and fresh off the Great Plateau, Wild would start encountering the Lost Beasts. I’m thinking that Twilight’s wolf would be the most likely he’d encounter first (though he would likely see Sky’s dragon and wonder WHAT THE HECK IS THAT, because amnesia he has no idea what it is) because the great bridge is its territory and is passed on the way to Kakariko from the Plateau (Also on my first playthrough of botw, I actually did the Lake Tower as my first tower, so I crossed the beige very early in the game).
I definitely like his meeting with Twilight going similar to this fic. And it’s from these meeting that Wild makes the decision to find these other Lost Beasts as a personal quest.
Jump back to the afterlife and Wild explaining this to the others, he asks them to please return to life and to his pre-Calamity Hyrule. He explains that finding them and meeting them throughout his quest was something that gave him a continued drive to go on. It made him feel not alone in his quest and he didn’t think he would have succeeded this time around without the help of the others.
He hates asking them to do this. It’s basically delaying their peaceful afterlife for another century. But they all know they can’t say no to him. And besides, they all missed their divine beasts.
So, they go.
After botw era Wild finishes his quest, the 8 Links finally do pass on peacefully. They reunite with their Wild, and all of them are able to finally rest.
So I have had some thoughts over the last day about the lu champion au. Namely about how the other Links acquire divine beasts of their own in the first place.
So I decided to write down the thoughts I’ve had to share. These are just my own thoughts and hcs, not official lu champion au cannon.
I’ll put it all under the cut, because it got kinda long.
