You opened your eyes suddenly when you felt like something or rather someone hitting the mattress hard and when you heard a giggle; you knew it was your daughter jumping on the bed.

“It’s today, it’s today, get up, get up, get up,” Sofia shouted and you let out a moan of complaint before rolling over to the other side of the bed and leaning against Carlos’ side. His body was always warm, and you just wanted to sleep. You loved your daughter, but waking up two hours before your alarm was not something you wanted on a Sunday. You felt Carlos’ chest move when he laughed.

“Not funny, she didn’t get that energy from me” You moaned in complaint, still with your eyes closed.

“Does that mean she got it from me?”

“She got that energy from you,” you stated.

“Please, I’m sure she didn’t get it from me,” He told you in a mocking tone and you growled back at him, hating that he was right. Carlos was incredibly calm and collected just like Sofia was 95% of the time, the other 5% she had the energy of four kids together and you hated to say that it got her out of you.

“Mom! Dad! WAKE UP!” she screeched, and you moaned again before opening your eyes.

“I swear to God-” You complained in a whisper. Carlos let out a laugh when he heard you before taking Sofia by her hand and pulling her against him. She fell onto his chest with a laugh.

“Why so much energy so early, enana?” Carlos asked her, ruffling her hair, causing Sofia to giggle. You rolled over again to support your back on the mattress and your head on your pillow.

“Cause today IT’S RACE DAY!” she yelled, and you two let out a laugh.

“We know enana, we know,” He replied to her “But it’s still too early”

“Oh” Sofia opened her eyes even wider to look at him “How early?”

“About two hours before the alarm clock rings,” you explained it to her because Sofia still didn’t know how to read the time. She was four years old and just turned five in two months.

“Oh,” she said, and you two let out a laugh.

“Dad has to race today so a softer wake-up would have been better,” you pointed out with a sweet tone. You didn’t want to scold her, but you also had to make her learn.

“It’s okay, enana” Carlos assured him when Sofia made a sad face, you glared at him. How was she supposed to learn if he was always pampering her?

You rolled your eyes “Come on, let dad rest,” Ready to give up your two precious extra hours of sleep, you pulled back the sheets to get out of bed. You were used to giving up your sleep since you had her, but Carlos still had several hours to go before the race “Wanna have some breakfast?” Walking to the other side of the bed, you pulled her off of Carlos and into your arms.

“Yeih,” she said and you let out a laugh

“Yeah, that’s more like it” You looked at your husband and gave him a wink before leaving the room with her in your arms.

Sofia’s vacation had started a few days ago and usually the last races on the calendar before the summer break were a good time for you guys to tag along with Carlos before the vacation officially started. Last year, Sofia had started the pre-kindergarten, so her vacations used to start in July. You had a little regret that she couldn’t be at Silverstone to see him win her first Grand Prix, but at least you could tag along in Austria, France, and maybe Hungary, depending on how Sofia handled it. Between Austria and France, there were two weeks off, but Carlos had to be in Maranello a couple of days after the race at the Red Bull Ring. You and Sofia were going to return home to Madrid before having to go to France.

“Banana or apple?” You asked her. According to the pediatrician, letting her decide apparently was good for her development.

“Apple”

“Apple it’s then,” you replied, leaving Sofia in her seat.

“Mom?”

“Yeah?”

“Can I color, pleaseeeeease?” She asked, lengthening the ‘e’ and you smirked before nodding.

“Sure,” you told her before taking the coloring book and her pencils from your bag. You were proud of the work that you, as parents, had done with her. She was the kindest girl in her class, according to her teacher, always asking permission and using the word "please". Sofia was also very shy, but you thought that maybe when she started elementary school, she would socialize a little more.

After cutting the fruit into pieces and getting a box of juice for her, you placed the plate in front of her. When she finished it, you threatened to take it from her when she stopped you.

“I can do it, mom” Sofia said before getting up to leave it in the sink herself, you let out a laugh when you saw how she struggled to reach the edge of the counter, standing on tiptoes so you approached from behind to lift her from the waist so she could reach the sink.

Sofia and you were sitting at the table again after breakfast. You were with the laptop finishing some details of one of your sketches, and Sofia was coloring and watching the cartoons on the tablet.

“Like mother, like daughter,” Carlos said, leaving the room. You rolled your eyes since Sofia had leaned towards the world of the arts and she had discovered that she liked to paint, draw, and color, Carlos insisted he had gotten that from you because he did not have the slightest idea of how to draw a circle correctly while you had studied architecture.

“Aren’t you gonna sleep a little longer?” You asked him, frowning and looking at the clock. There was still another half hour to go before he had to get up.

“I’m not sleepy anymore, besides I want to spend the morning with my two favorite girls,” He added, giving Sofia a wink that made her smile. You were a little weak from the way he pushed Sofia on his lap to hold her up while she continued drawing, and he took the toast you had made.

Sofia wasn’t expected. Carlos was 23 years old, and you were 22 when she was born. You weren’t even thinking about having children when the pregnancy test came back positive. You guys had been dating since high school. It had been hard staying together all that time mainly because of his job, but you had made it work, regardless. A baby was not planned back then. Carlos had turned 23 just 10 days before Sofia was born and you did it a couple of months later. You had to drop out of college for a semester to give birth, but then you came back and finally graduated.

Raising a kid that young was a challenge for you. There had been many breaking points and more bumps than you could count, with Carlos missing almost all of Sofia’s important marks cause he was traveling the world and you felt like you were a single mom most of the time no matter how present he tried to be. Eventually, as Sofia got older, everything had fallen into place, but that hadn’t been without its challenges. In the end, you were happy with your little family. Neither of you was thinking of having a second child soon, at least not until he retiered and you were more than happy to just have her. Sofia was more than enough.

After finishing breakfast, everything was chaotic. Between having to remember everything to bring to the paddock, getting Sofia ready, and getting yourself ready, you almost forgot to grab your phone.

The paddock was covered with gray clouds but apparently. It wasn’t rain; it had rained earlier for the F2 and F3 races, but in the afternoon the weather was going to be favorable. You had been nervous all weekend, attentive to see what would happen. Carlos had won his first race at Silverstone and you wanted him to continue the streak. The media were speculating on a supposed tension between Carlos and Charles due to what was happening on the track with them and Ferrari’s strategies. Outside the track at least, neither of them took the hint of the rumors. Yesterday in the sprint race Charles had been second and Carlos third and today everyone was eager to know that was going to happen. Carlos had gone with one mechanic to the garage while you were walking into Ferrari’s hospitality.

“Hi Sofia,” Charles greeted her, approaching you and she hid her face in your neck when she saw him “You still don’t wanna be my friend? That’s fine, eventually, we will be” He let out a laugh.

“I’m sorry,” you apologized with a scowl. Sofia was too shy and usually had a hard time gaining familiarity and trust with people.

“No problem,” Charles shrugged.

“Lando!” Sofia exclaimed, pointing a finger at the Brit and you turned around to watch how Lando was going through security to enter the paddock. “Can I go say hi?”

“You can go say hi, go” You agreed, placing her on the ground before she ran towards the British. Lando didn’t see her until Sofia pulled on his pants and he turned to give her a smile and take her in his arms.

“Lando? She doesn’t like me, but she likes Lando?” Charles asked with a hint of frustration in his voice.

“It’s not that she doesn’t like you, she still needs to trust you first,” You let out a small laugh.

“She likes Lando more than me,” He complained “I feel offended”

“She’s known him since she was a baby,” you pointed out.

“Lando or Sofia?”

You let out a laugh “Both”

“You should take advantage and let him be the babysitter,” Charles suggested

You shook your finger “Lando is not babysitting Sofia”

“Why not?”

“Cause Sofia would be the one to take care of him” You told him and Charles let out a laugh “Lando is the kid, he can hardly take care of himself, I am not giving my daughter to him”

“Good point,” Charles agreed before his PR called him “See you later”

You said goodbye to Charles before approaching Lando so that Sofia would leave him alone. She really liked the British driver, so whenever she saw him she wanted to hover around him, and even though you joked a bit about Lando’s maturity, he always paid attention to your daughter.

Usually, when Sofia went to the paddock, she could spend it alone playing a puzzle or coloring. However, when some of the other children were around, she would sometimes end up playing with Sebastian Vettel’s daughters or Sergio Perez’ kids. Since they all spoke Spanish, she got along better with Checo’s children. Sergio Jr. was the same age as Sofia and although Carlotta was smaller, she was always willing to follow the other two, so the three of them always walked together. Yesterday, you had them with you in the hospitality of Ferrari, and today Carola had offered to look at Sofia for a while while the kids played.

“Where is Sofia?” Carlos asked you when you entered his driver’s room.

“With Sergio and Carlotta, Carola is looking at them,” you replied as he untied his shoes to change into his race suit.

“That brat.” He growled, and you giggled. He had a lot to say about how Sofia and Sergio Jr. spent a lot of time together.

“Are you jealous of a four-year-old?” You mocked, raising your eyebrows.

“I don’t care how old he is,” Carlos growled again “That boy better stay put, he’s always on top of her”

“Are you kidding? They are four!” It was not even possible for them to have that in mind.

“Thank God for that.” You rolled your eyes at how ridiculous the statement he was making “Let me see if I get it. You are worried that a four-year-old will seduce your daughter”

“It’s never too early to start” He pointed “Just look at me with you,” he added, causing you to burst out laughing.

“We were twelve, and that doesn’t even count.” You rolled your eyes. Carlos had given you your first kiss after school and he can’t seem over that “They are four years old”

“I already told you I don’t care,” He growled again, and you giggled getting closer to him.

“I love when you go into protective father mode” Carlos was sitting on the edge of the bed and you stood in front of him before leaning down to give him a brief kiss.

“He better stay on his ground,” He complained, taking you by the waist to push you against him, making you straddle him.

You let out a giggle before resting your forehead against his. “To keep the streak alive,” you murmured before kissing him. That was one thing you could appreciate and love about being with him. Despite the time, the distance, and the responsibilities the spark between you was still there. After all that time, you could still find those things that had made you fall in love with him.

“This is the winner special treatment?” He asked and you let out a giggle.

“You got that the other day,” you murmured, caressing his neck with your lips.

You left the room and headed to Red Bull Hospitality to check on Sofia. She and Sergio were playing hopscotch with Carlotta. You stayed chatting with Carola until the drivers got into their cars. Sofia usually liked to watch the start from the garage and then you used to take her back to the hospitality or Carlos’s driver’s room because it was too noisy for her and she used to get tired or fall asleep.

The start went smoothly and after the first half of the race, just as you predicted, Sofia asked if you guys couldn’t go to Carlos’ driver’s room. That was usually the time she slept, so you wouldn’t be surprised if she fell asleep.

“Mom, can I have some apple juice, please?” She asked you. Sofia was coloring on the floor with her pencils, looking up to watch the race from time to time while you were lying on the bed.

“Sure” You replied however when you approached your bag you realized you had previously shared Sergio Jr. and Carlotta the ones you had in your bag “I’m going to go look for the hospitality, stay here, don’t go out,” you said and Sofia nodded without looking at you, concentrating on her drawing.

You left the garage and trotted to the hospitality of Ferrari; you asked the girl who attended the buffet if she could give you a glass of apple juice. When the girl handed it to you, you thanked her before listening to how the TV commentator started talking about Carlos. You turned to watch the TV and saw that he was trying to get out of the car that was on a hill rolling backward. Before you could even process that information, you saw how the back of the car caught fire. Oh my God. Carlos. Oh, no. Sofia. The TV was on.

You ran back to the garage, but when you opened the door to his driver’s room, your soul almost left your body when you saw Sofia wasn’t there. Oh no. Where was she? You walked down the hall until you reached the garage. You leaned over to see if she was hiding between the tires and you bent down to see if you saw her hiding in a corner. Out of the corner of your eye, you saw on the monitors how Carlos was already out of the car and sitting on the side of the track. You let out a relieved sigh. At least he was fine. Now, where was Sofia? She couldn’t have gone very far. You didn’t want to ask anyone if she had seen it because everyone was focused on the race. You could feel the cold sweat running down the back of your neck as you jogged back to Carlos’ driver’s room.

“Sofia?” You asked in the space, and surprisingly, you heard an almost inaudible sob in response. Where was she? You frowned as you looked around before bending down to look under the bed. There was Sofia, curled up like a hidden ball. You could never have seen her down there when you walked into the room. “corazón, what’s wrong?” You left the apple juice on the table.

“Dad,” she simply moaned in response in the middle of a sob.

“Dad’s fine, corazón” you replied sweetly, stretching to get a better look at her.

“He was on fire!” She cried. What surprised you was that she wasn’t screaming after seeing that.

“He wasn’t, his car was, he’s fine I promise you, do you want to get out of there for me, corazón?” Sofia gave you a quick nod before crawling out from under the bed. You took her in your arms, and you realized she had a red face and that she was runny. You leaned over to leave her on the bed, but Sofia didn’t want to take her arms out from around your neck, so you looked in your bag for a tissue to blow her nose.

“I want daddy” she groaned before letting out a sob again. He shrugged at you.

“He’s coming now, corazón, okay?” You didn’t think that Carlos was going to take so long to come back because he was definitely not finishing the race that day.

About ten minutes later, Carlos came through the door and Sofia started crying again.

“Daddy,” she cried, stretching out her arms for Carlos to take her. He looked at you a bit confused as he scooped Sofia up into his arms before you nodded to the television as an explanation of what was going on.

“Are you okay, enana?” Carlos frowned, stroking her back.

“You were on fire,” Sofia moaned with her head buried in his shoulder.

“No, my car was on fire but I’m fine, see?” He responded by repeating a little what you had already told Sofia, but you knew she needed to see him know that he was really okay “I promise you”

“Pinky promise?” She asked, raising her little finger.

“Promise,” He replied by touching his pinkie to hers. Even though he had already stopped crying, Sofia still had her head buried in his shoulder. You passed another tissue so that he could blow her nose. When he finished, he gave Sofia a kiss on the top of her head.

Now it was your turn to move a little closer to him to give him a kiss on his lips before caressing his neck with the tip of your nose.

“You smell like charred,” you told him wrinkling your nose “I thought the fire hadn’t reached you,” you murmured softly so as not to alert Sofia, who seemed to doze on his shoulder.

“It didn’t but I think the seat or something was too hot,” He explained before kissing your forehead.

“I’m glad you are ok” You sighed against his neck and he simply wrapped an arm around you. You guys just huddled there. Your little family.

The next few hours flew by. Sofia didn’t want to separate from Carlos, so except for when he had to change his racing suit, she stayed on top of him the whole time. When he went to the garage to talk to the engineers, when he went out to celebrate Charles’ victory, when he had to take his cold bath, and when you went back to the hotel, Sofia was always on top of him.

Finally, about four or five hours later, you were already on the plane that was supposed to take you and the engineers back to Maranello. In the end, you two had decided that it would be better if you and Sofia just went with him to Italy, it wasn’t the original plan but seeing that Sofia wasn’t willing to get too far away from him after the scare she had that day. You didn’t want to have to scare her more.

You sat in the back of the plane. Sofia was already asleep against Carlos’s chest even before takeoff.

“I’m sorry” You started breaking the silence between you. You felt guilty about leaving Sofia alone “I left for a second so I could go get some apple juice and she-“

“amor, it’s okay” Carlos reached out to stroke your leg comfortingly.

“She was so terrified,” you murmured.

“She would have been scared, anyway.” He put his arm around your shoulders and pulled you to his side.

“I’m just glad that you are ok,” you repeated.

“Yes, that could have gone wrong,” Carlos agreed “The car just wouldn’t stop”

“At least you got out in one piece”

“Yes,” He said. You two remained silent for a moment until Carlos turned to see you again with a smile “I’m glad you came”

“Me too,” you answered, watching Sofia stir a little in his arms. Despite everything, you loved little family.

i mean, like she says, is that not what people just did to each other in the aftermath of battles for thousands of years? and i really like how its pointed out that it was what she was raised with (in the beginning when you see her put shackles on that guy after the battle) but she also accepts responsibility for it and acknowledges that it was wrong and not just 'what people did'.

i like how from her expressions you can kind of tell baby andy knew it was off but she sets those feelings aside bc she felt angry. it explains how she felt but didnt make her out to be blameless in it. plus i mean. i dont know, the fact that andy was involved in a lot of morally shady stuff for 7000 years is not that wild for me. if you live that long youre just Going to be involved in some shit, and she didnt even have other immortals with her as positive community influences, she literally just did whatever the fuck she wanted for thousands of years

i dont know, i get why people didnt like the ending but its. .. . it makes more sense in the comicverse. bc the squad doesnt really. .. interact outside of jobs? i mean, think of the moon landing story in ttt. that was booker and joe and nicky doing a job and andy only showed up a for a couple minutes after it was done. or the brunch in the first issue of opening fire. the squad arent as tight in the comic, and andy often seems to do her own thing outside of work, so andy saying 'i dont want to do work anymore' and the squad being like 'alright bye then' makes more sense in this universe than the movie one

also i feel like greg was Trying to set up a thing where nile becomes the Leader of The Squad after andy dies but like. its not very well done since. . . i mean, nile hasnt spoken to booker since opening fire, (and she only knew him A Day). and shes known joe and nicky all that time, but there isnt really anything that indicates that they have any relationship at all, much less one that's grown. in all the comicverse the only time nile and nicky speak is in FM, and in that scene nicky tells nile about noriko. nile goes from someone who needs to be set aside to have background knowledge explained to her to being the Leader of the group with nothing in between. it kind of... comes out of nowhere.

on the other hand tho... i felt really bad for andy thru the whole thing. well, i always felt bad for andy, but in this one she seemed so miserable, especially since it really felt like none of the others actually.... cared about her. when noriko came back no one asked andy how she was doing (big question ik, but it wouldve showed they cared at least), nobody ever expressed any concern for her, no one even really seemed to want to be around her. in opening fire everyone was more distant than in the movie of course, but there were little moments where she would joke with joe, or nicky would try and comfort her, or stuff like that, but in FM it really felt like they just didnt really care about her. & in opening fire it felt a lot like andy's relationship with nile breathed some new life into her, but in FM it felt like all they did was argue. i get theyre not *as* close in the comics but it really felt like the only person who cared about andy at all was noriko (which was probably also how andy felt) but it just seemed to come out of nowhere. honestly i was reading and i was honestly agreeing with andy that she might just be better off if she did just die. opening fire, on the other hand, never make me feel that way

tho everyone made it sound like when the squad split up it was one of those cursed 'the found family leaves each other at the end of the journey' tropes. but guys i mean,,, this is the second installment out of three. that isnt the End. theyll come back in the third one and Dramatically Reunite to fight some baddies (probably those 'others' noriko mentioned). im guessing yitzhak fits into that too somehow.

anyways it wasnt That Bad but it made me kind of sad and the only Sweet Found Family vibes in it were when they saved booker. also they shouldve beefed up that nilemoose romance, it underwhelmed me. 6.5/10

i also ABSOLUTELY understand all of greg's comments about how you couldnt make FM directly into a movie, he always said that it had no plot and. i get it now. it really didnt have a plot sdfghjkl

Look I'm not one of those people who believe Kishimoto decided to have Hinata and Naruto end up in the middle part of Shippuden. I believe he decided in the very last arc but he wanted to sound smart so he said he decided earlier on. Otherwise, they obviously would have more scene together. In Shippuden, they have only three scenes together ; when Naruto came back, the pain attack and the neji death scene. That's it. In the original Naruto, they probably have less than ten canon scenes not including fillers.

So I'm sorry I'm one of those who wasn't convinced by The Last. They literally had a basic villain go after Hinata who was cringe btw (the villain). They gave Hinata op powers which she doesn't have in the novel 👀. Despite having op powers, they made her the damsel in distress. Very "The hero saves the princess" cliche. Again, to justify them being together. I mean Naruto can't differentiate his love for ramen and romantic love so how??? He was just being nice to Hinata just like he does to everyone. He stood up for her just like he does for everyone.

Don't get me started on the Sakura Sasuke relationship 🤣. Cringe. They never knew each other. The whole Sakura's love for Sasuke saved him doesn't make sense. They spent barely a year in their genin year before sasuke left. Sasuke tried to kill Naruto and Sakura multiple times. Then at the end of the war, Kishimoto tried to do the "oh they have such a deep understanding between each other" which comes off as cringey. He gets her pregnant then leaves for years. She's literally a single mom who's broke.

Every relationship in Naruto is so cringey and forced except shikatemari. Kishimoto should've focused on the main story and fixed his potholes and leave the ending open.

Naruto would not have been perfect but at least it would've been remembered for staying true to its vision but instead it's remembered for cringey relationships, dumbass villain (except pain and madara) and a story that lost its core which is a shame coz I used to love Naruto. I was inspired by its messages but now....

I also know a bunch of nh stans who have their complaints with their development. I wish Kishi gave more attention to his female cast really, thats all I fucking ask. If he did that one single basic thing, then maybe the endgame relationships wouldnt have been an asspull and theyd be given propper screentime with their love interest, both Sakura and Hinata. The Last tbh i think the writers played it safe and stuck to the whole Naruto shounen vibe thingy, so im not surprised it was plotted that way. Typical cliché shounen movie.

But does that bother me? No! The Last was a mess, their development was shit, they definitely needed more screentime but hey at the end of the day theyre cute as fuck, we have that kiss scene, flirting scenes, a shit ton of official art, three kids, Seiki's gif :33 and a whole ass arc for their wedding all that for just a shounen anime so eh. Compensates for it i guess xD theyre not toxic, unhealthy or whatnot. Theyre wholesome, soft and vanilla as fuck and exactly what i need in my hectic life rn. No drama, just two kind souls who are adorable as heck and theyre dynamic means so much to me and I will love them until i shall leave this earth.

rant that you can just skip over 😂 it's just detailed intrusive thoughts. and I'm continuing to rant about literally everything that goes through my brain so I am here writing this and not acting on thoughts or being stupid.

okay so this is a note from after I have written all that. and basically it's complaining and ranting about everything and hyperfixating on space and science in the end. in the middle I talk about my fears of love 😂 potentially triggering stuff? it's all nonsense you really dont have to read it. it was just to keep myself from doing something I shouldn't. so if you could be triggered by literally anything maybe dont? idk. I cant stop you but it's probably annoying and not interesting. if anyone does read it though let me know if I need to tag it anything.

So my brain has now decided that because there is no way I am sleeping tonight unless it's exhaustion, I get intrusive thoughts. fun! so rn it has been fixated on the fact that because I am closest to the outside. not hall door. that I could easily sneak out. which is very much not good idea, because 1) I dont live in this area, 2) it's still cold as fuck outside at night, 3) I would literally fucking get lost or caught immediately. So yeah :) I dont even know what I would do if I did go and I don't want to because I have an idea of what brain would say and that's a big no. it's especially big no because I'm too comfortable with the idea of it but I'm not allowed to. and I guess now it's kinda good because brain is thinking about how I miss my cat. I just wanna see my baby and be in my safe place with the people I'm actually comfortable with (cat and phone with online friends) like guys he's so fuckung adorable and what if he doesnt know why I'm not there right now. usually he sleeps in my room at night. so what if he's in my room waiting for me and I cant go see him. you're damn right that I'm crying about this. i just want my baby because he is my baby and an indicator of a safe place.

also I am so incredibly fucking uncomfortable. like I cannot sleep because 1) in a place I do not know 2) there are people (family) in the room that I am not comfortable letting my guard down around 3) there's so much noise from snoring (and from one sleep talking) 4) I am on the couch because when we go places I'm always the one who has to and it's a shitty pull out bed couch. it makes way too much noise that I have been in an uncomfortable position for over 3 hours because I dint want to disturb anyone else. and I can very easily feel like of the metal bars under the middle of my back 5) I am very cold. I forgot a blanket and I didnt get one because the room only gave us one extra one (I dont think we're supposed to have an extra person) ad my sister got it even though I'm the one by the outsid,door, window, and air conditioner which wont turn off. I at least have my flannel though to cover my legs 6) my head hurts so bad because it's the kind of headache that hurts to have eyes open, breath, or move around in general 7) my stomach hurts so bad because I had to eat because apparently people get hungry and are supposed to eat along with anxiety from literally all of this 8) I have not gotten to be alone for more than 10 minutes since the middle of Wednesday whereas usually I spend almsot all of my time alone (with cat and phone with online friends) in my safe place. 9) I have not stopped crying (not really like crying crying but like there has been tears or water from my eyes because for some reason they burn and some because of anxiety or missing cat. 10) I keep thinking that at any moment I close my eyes someone is going to break into the room or one of my family members are gonna do something (I literally dont know what, that's intrusive thoughts talking but I have previously freaked out because I thought they were gonna aliven't me for no reason) 11) When I'm somewhere I'm not used to I get really bad muscle cramps in my arms and legs and I am not having fun with that.

sorry that was a shit ton of complaining that nobody should have read or give a shit about. so sorry if anyone actually read that?

also Allison, if you actually do read this (istg you really dont have to. like I said this is just my train of thoughts written to prevent me from doing anything. I am not watching wandavision until later today 😂 and I am staying off the discord server I joined becuas of potential spoilers.

anyways continuation of rants and complaints. I really want to put the phone down and attempt to sleep even though I know I'm not gonna be able to and for that reason I have to write here because I do not trust myself with my brain being like this rn. but I wanna put phone down so bad because my eyes hurt and my head hurts from having eyes open.

and I really wanna just get my earbuds out and have controlled noise and potentially fall asleep but that would take noise louder than them to drown them out but any noise already is hurting my head and earbuds sound really uncomfortable right now.

also I'm starting to get really cold again because the flannel was working for a little but I think that was because I had to move a little bit to get it out and on my legs and I haven't been moving.

also my sister (sleep.talker) has been just making noises and mumbling all night except just now she went "eww" and rolled over and continued snoring and sleeping. so that's fun. totally didnt scare me.

oh my God it's fuckung almost 3:30 I just wanna sleep. at this rate I dont care in what way it happens, but I want sleep in the next 10 minutes so I cannot be aware of how uncomfortable or in pain I am.

my back (which usually already has back pain) connot stand to lay on the bar in this position anymore so I have to move but it's so loud and I dont wanna wake anyone up or move into a worse position but feel bad for moving.

I have now moved and I dont THINK I woken anyone up. back is better but head hurts so much more now because of movement and I am now laying on my knee which I have a lot of problems with and am not having a fun time.

idk what to talk about. I want sleep or to at least put phone down but like I said multiple times I do not trust my brain rn so I have to keep writing stuff. and I dont want to just keep complaining but idk what to talk about and complaining is easiest rn because I was out in an uncomfortable situation by coming with them and I didnt want to in the first place but would not be able to stay home.

I am now gonna talk about sleep and my thoughts about it. I like being asleep but I also dont. I like being not awake but most of the time do not like the dreams I have. but sleep itself is such an interesting concept. like the body forces itself to shut down and put you unconscious to like rest itself or repair before continuing to function. and it's like (supposed to be) on a specific or close to schedule. like youre supoosed to have a schedule for when you're unconscious. and this is completely normal. a part of our society is actually shaped around this too? like at certain times around the world it gets all dark and the world goes quiet for a while. idk I just think it's really interesting. maybe it's not idk lmao.

and now brain wants to talk about how and why I am afraid to love. :). brain is afraid to love because that means I have to be vulnerable to someone and that's just so terrifying to do, especially being someone who is different than a lot of the heteronormative society. like I absolutely love my friends. and once I'm comfortable around them, I'm gonna tell them that I love them as much as I can (but also dont want to make them uncomfortable). because if I finally feel comfortable enough around you to be vulnerable and accept that I love you despite brain's overwhelming urge to say I don't and be invulnerable and safe, I'm gonna tell you that as much as I can that I love you. because it literally happens so little in my life that I actually really trust someone. so if I tell you I love you I mean it (and it tells you I trust you). like seriously, I barely even say it to my mom because I'm so on guard and trying to watch my back around her. and I dont think I say it to the rest of my family. unless it's my grandparents I'm gonna tell them that because I think I do just in a different way of your my grandparent and you're family. and I occasionally say it to my irl best friend because there's still a lot I'm on guard about because I haven't told her a lot of things so we're not as close as you'd think. but if you're reading this I have probably told you i love you. and i know Allison i tell you as much as i can because I think yyou'rethe absolute top person that I trust and love, so i try to tell you a lot. because I love you!! you're like my entire found family 😂

but now we're gonna talk about reasons why I'm terrified to be in love romantically. Because I dont think i have actually liked someone romantically or really ever be romantically interested in anyone. I have thought about it because I felt like I had to tell myself I was ( I was not). like i thought I had a crush on someone once but I think it was because I was unable to be their friend at the time that I wanted to be their friend even more. and because I never really got to pick my friends I didnt know what it was like to actually want to be friends with someone. but thinking about someone romantically I just cant really do. because I don't want to get into a romantic relationship if I don't know if I'm gonna like them romantically at all. do people like people romantically when they first go out with someone? or do they just say I kinda like this person let's try it out? because that just doesnt make sense to me and idk. and it could very well be that I'm just to young to know yet. because I still dont even know what I would want from a romantic relationship. like... Idk what there is for me to want or what's different to loving your friends besides calling them something else? and the whole having to trust that this person likes you in a specific way that you might like them before you take it far enough and get hurt because they just don't feel the same? or you're the one that's not really sure and potentially hurt someone else? I know people say it's just a risk you're gonna have to take but I dont want to take a risk like that. I dont mind being hurt from it myself but in terrified at the thought that I could potentially hurt someone because I just dint feel a certain way. and I still dont know what the difference is between friend love or romantic love to be able to judge or risk that? like seriously what is different? because I mean, maybe affection like have someone to hug or cuddle? but you could do that with friends and it should be a normal thing to have with your friends. but ig this still is a fucked up society that thinks everything has to be more than what it really is. and it just leaves people touch starved because of it. idk. maybe one day I'll figure it out, but how it's just Greek and foreign to me. idfk.

well that was fun. now it's 4 and I need something else to talk about because even if I do potentially fall alseep soon, I do not want those to be my last thoughts and possibly have dream about it (dreams for me are typically not good).

I think I see the moon. it's either a moon or a parking lot light. and I know the moon is either full or very close to full (I'm pretty sure it's just very. close) but I wish all of those lights outside were off and possibly have a new moon so I could see the stars. I love the stars so much. i love the moon, too, but right now it's very bright. but I wish I was more into astronomy and knew more about it. because that's also something that's very interesting to me is space and the stars. I wanna be someone who knows about all of the constellations. but I have a horrible memory and absolutely would not be able to remember 88 different stories. although I'd want to. even though most of them or a bunch are just Zeus being a dick. but more to the science side of the stars is so interesting to me that they're soooooo far away. like they're literally incomprehensibly far away. like I cannot comprehend how big a football field is without see one, I'm agine being able to comprehend the distance of light years? like I know we know how far it is but I'm pretty sure human minds cannot comprehend how far that ACTUALLY is. even if we know it's a LOT. and isnt it cool how we're able to know there are other planets outside of the solar system? I believe it's 4 different planets that we know of that are MORE inhabitable than earth. like better to live on. and they have either older or stronger stars that wouldn't die out as fast as our sun. although there comes the debate of if we should be able to go to them. it's a very debatable question, but I think overall the answer would be no. because humans have fucked up an entire planet, why should we be allowed to do it to another? like it realize it's literally a percent of humans that fucked it up for the rest of the planet, but humans have an inner need to have power over everyone else and other things and would stop at nothing to get what they want. humans could so easily become corrupt and destroy other planets too. it's kind of a fucked up thing to say, but I feel like maybe humans should die out with our planet. like of course it's not fair to the ones who haven't had the chance to live a life yet. but it was never fair to the other creatures humans killed for their own needs. like we have caused extinction several times. karma will get you back in the end ig. and it would be cool to know but obviously we wouldnt be able to know, if a species even smarter than humans evolved and kept the peace on earth, even as the ruling species? ruling sounds wrong but idk what else to call it. whatever we are above everything else is what they would be. but it would be so amazing to know what smarter beings are alive or could eventually live. like that's so fucking cool.

anyways I should probably try to sleep or put phone down because now brian doesnt have time to let me do anything I shouldnt. it's 4:30 😂 someone is probably gonna wake up soon because idk.

“Yeah, let’s totally ignore all the money that fell.and now needs to be recounted.....the bag is more important...” The crass more than evident in Mels voice as your eyes narrowed into tiny slits. Daggering in her direction

“Eat my ass Melissa!” The words slipped out of your mouth on almost autopilot...not even giving it a second thought which only earned an amused chuckle. Mel’s known you far too long to take anything to heart.

“I mean I would butttt...not too sure how Tae would feel about that.” Shrugging a little too noncohlant and smug for your liking!

Grabbing the band of twenties to your left and chucking it directly at left boob, yet you still didn't wipe the smirk off her lips! “Count…now!”

“Ask nicely..” The pout in her voice let you know she was pushing all negative 2 of your buttons…earning an exaggerated sigh in response.

“Did you know Chanel makes garter belts?” Brow arched at your own implied question only to be greeted by a slow nod. “Hmm well now you know...wanna take a wild guess at what I’m hiding in mine?” The playful tenor within your voice was riviling a more..dominant one..which let Melissa know how much room she had to play..and she could tell she was running out of leeway right now!Assuming her lack of sass menat she was finally silently waving that white flag….

“Now let’s try this again...what the fuck happened in China that has you so damn spooked?”

“Oh fuck off don’t say it like that..I’m not spooked I’m a Mangjuhl for fucks sake! It was just odd..that’s all! You would have sworn I was just some random bitch off the street with the way they were damn near stalking me the entire time…” There was a slight pause as she threw the band into the briefcase. “Ahh fuck!How much money is in here already?” Tone hopeful because Mel really wasn’t trying to recount all that damn money!

A low hum left your throat at that, the first thing that comes to mind was the last conversation you had with Henry where he admitted to killing Wei in self-defense. Granted as far as you know they still don’t know about it and that alone just feels grimy as fuck, considering the relationship your suppose to have! But, the day that secret comes rises to the surface..the repercussions alone would inevitably start a war that your not ready to fight just yet! I just felt like I’d be a shitty friend to not at least let you know that the vibe was off..that’s all..” God did she really HAVE to take it there!? Melissa’s tone was warner than you wished right now because it just made you feel like trash, there was no way in fuck you were letting her make another drop to China until you had a better feel of the situation! If you can't tell Melissa the issue you were going to protect her in the only way you knew how which was keeping her OUT of their terrority!

Like she said..she's been doing this for years...why now the cold shoulder all of a sudden? Everything is done for a reason. Every vibe is strategically set, if she felt uncomfortable or watched it’s because they wanted her to feel that way!

4/5- weird shape (really long sleeves for a short sleeved shirt, and really boxy too), and if you compare the placement and size of the patch vs. the one in the picture it’s not 100% accurate. still a cute shirt though so it’s fine

4.5/5- better quality than primark which. wow, did not see that coming

you have to cut the button hole (they seal it to show they they’ve never been worn apparently)

the button kinda like...jingles if you shake them vigorously, but it doesn’t happen when the pants are on, so it’s fine. still funny tho

im bad at wearing ripped shorts but if ur not i highly recommend

i would buy it again in black so i guess that says something

also i have like. freaky long arms (i can wave my hand over my shoulder with my arm behind my back and my elbow parallel to my torso...that’s such a weird description but uh. just know that my arms are long okay) and it didn’t look too indecent at the top to have the sleeves pulled down to my wrists! it’s a win!)

4.7/5- smelled weird when i opened it but I washed it and it’s fine!

5/5- The white one was perfect and I love it! I sized like 2 sizes up for it to be a oversized but I would say it’s only abt 1 size oversized, if that makes sense? but I actually like it the way it is so cool lmao

3.7/5- the black one was really badly sewn on, but i reported it and got a new one for free so go me go yesstyle! they didnt give me tracking info *i think* and i wasn’t really waiting for it so it feels like it came fast lol

the moon is kinda a more awkward shape in person i think, but the stormy clouds were high quality and perfect!

i really like the material of the shirt!s it’s thick and soft and smooth? i’ve legit never felt a tshirt like that but im into it

the brown in the skirt isn’t super noticeable which i don’t really mind...overall i’d say that they lightened the photos considerably, which effects the color of the skirt

3/5 pretty cheap material. the skirt is true to size, but the top is like two sizes too small (i don’t have that much boob but it was still too much for this poor, poor, top). they come as separate pieces, so i brought the skirt to school with me and left the top at home. im not sure what i would tell someone who wanted to buy this abt sizing, bc of the dramatic discrepancy btwn the sizes.

Will the Bell Ring? Pt. 2

Part 1

(Erik Killmonger x Black!OC)

Word Count: 4.3k

T’Challa has been in town for a few weeks now, no date determined for when he would return to Wakanda, so his time spent in the States mostly meant working at the outreach center, being a liason for international affairs from time to time, and also dating begrudgingly. It is Erik’s doing to try and get T’Challa out there on the prowl again since Nakia seemed not at all pressed to stand by for him.

Even though the outreach center in Oakland is an assignment T’Challa bestowed upon her to satiate her need to help others on Wakanda’s behalf, she found a way to not have to stay in one place, as she habitually tended to do. Instead of doing the grunt work, Nakia would take trips to try and spread the word of their goals to other communities to grow their cause exponentially.

Erik was tired of seeing T’Challa mope and wear himself out physically and emotionally, so one night he got him out of the house. Pulling up to T’Challa’s place, Erik honks to let him know he has arrived.

After a few minutes, T’Challa steps out in a brown tunic, pants and sandals trotting to Erik’s car.

“Aye, whoa, hey! The hell you got on man?” Erik leans over talking out of the passenger window.

T’Challa tries the door but it’s locked. “N’Jadaka, I am in my clothes. These cost more than your mortgage payments.” He tries the door again. “Unlock the door!”

Erik shakes his head. “Nah, bump that. You ain’t sittin yo tacky ass in my ride til you change, bruh. I thought you asked for Shuri’s fashion advice before leaving the house man.”

T’Challa bends down, sticking his hand in to search for the unlock button. “You are being ridiculous…”

Erik pushes on the window button on his side watching the window roll up as T’Challa quickly brings his arm out on the safe side.

“N’Jadaka!” T’Challa shouts pounding on the window.

“Aye! Your genetically enhanced ass better not bust my window cuz I know you good for a replacement. Change. Your. Clothes. If you tryna get any play tonight, you better go on back.”

T’Challa spins on his heels back towards his place as Erik pulls out his phone. Work is still hounding him about a presentation he is to give on a new model for the blackbox recording device in Boeing aircrafts. It’s in a couple of days and he still has a lot to finish before going in front of all of those white folk to back it. A text from Kimara pops up on his phone.

Hey, how long are you going to be out for?

Erik checks the time and texts back. I dont know. Shit dont start poppin off tile 12:30 sooo…

Erik, you have your appointment in the morning, remember?

Erik had not remember, thank God for Kimara’s nagging. Oh babe, of course. I won’t be out past 2, 3 at the latest.

I swear if I have to roll your ass out of the bed, so help me.

Chill out! I’m grown, I can wake myself up just fine. My six figures speak for themself.

Erik puts the phone down gripping the steering wheel with slight aggravation. Kimara has been getting extra cranky lately, which was usually a sign of the time of the month, but now it’s just the stress of trying to conceive. Erik looks back at his phone, seeing that the message was read, but no reply. Shit, he thought. That’s not good. No good night, see you later then, ok love you? She’s pissed but Erik will make it up to her in the morning. He could make it up to her when he gets home, but he gotta save that for the doctor’s appointment.

Erik honks his horn again over and over, keeping it pressed for five second intervals.

T’Challa swings his front door open waving at Erik to cease his incessant honking, locking the door behind himself. Erik looks over the ensemble of choice: black slacks with a white shirt tucked in, olive green military style jacket, some all white Adidas on his feet.

Erik sits up as he unlocks the door for T’Challa to get in. “Are you done wasting my time?”

T’Challa looks at Erik. “What do you mean? You demanded I change.”

“And I oughta make you change again with them whack Adidas on, but I’ll let it go for time. I can’t be out all night.” Erik says pulling out onto the street.

“Why would we go out if you have obligations in the morning. You didn’t mention that.”

“Well, I kinda forgot about it cuz. Kimara just reminded me while you were changing.”

“Oh, and how are things between the two of you now?” T’Challa asks.

Erik sighs, turning a corner. “We good, definitely. Just hittin a rough patch right now. You know we tryna have a baby and shit.”

“Uh-huh.” T’Challa says, scrolling through his phone.

“So like, we been tryin for a while and that ain’t been easy on her. She stay thinkin she broken and shit but the pussy ain’t broke, trust.”

T’Challa looks up from his screen. “You know that...it’s more than that to making a baby, right?”

Erik kisses his teeth. “Nigga, I know, damn. I’m just sayin, she ain’t had no issues. She already had herself checked out, the tubes and utilities is all in workin order.”

“Her uterus?” T’Challa asks in confusion.

Erik stops hard at a stop sign. “Can I tell my story the way I wanna tell it?”

T’Challa shakes his head going back to his phone again.

“Like I was saying, she good! That ain’t no issue, so she been doing her own research, eating different foods and trying other shit in the bedroom and scheduling shit out to when she most fertile but ain’t a damn thing happened. She bought pregnancy tests in bulk and shit, like this is all she be thinkin about now. We can’t just fuck no more, it’s fuckin with a purpose, which ain’t as fun. So now I gotta go get tested to make sure my hotel is fully booked for vacation, you know what I’m sayin?”

T’Challa turns off his screen letting out a sigh. “Well that is a lot of information for you to have given me just now. Great start to the evening.”

Erik kisses his teeth. “Wooow, ok, I thought family could confide in family, but cool. I hear you.”

“Erik, that is not the problem, it is your details. You leave in far too many.” T’Challa says, voice raising in frustration. “I don’t want this imagery in my head and just out of respect for Kimara, can you minimize the specifics?”

Erik drives in silence for a minute mulling it over. “Fine, aight. But that do remind me, I was wondering if you have any Wakandan aphrodisiac type stuff to try and get things kickin off more proper. I don’t know what the doctor gonna say tomorrow, but I figure I can get ahead now.”

“N’Jadaka, have you...noticed any trouble in that area before?” T’Challa asks unwillingly.

“Hell no! I get up, I get down, and ain’t had no complaints, 100% on Yelp baby!” Erik says cackling and slapping T’Challa’s leg.

“Alright, enough! To answer your question, sure, there are some remedies that can aid you in that endeavor. I can’t say how good they are, but they are made from natural ingredients so they won’t harm you, that’s for sure.”

“Bet! I’ll call you when I’m ready to try the shit. Now you bein a good cousin!” Erik cheeses excitedly.

Finally making it to the club, Erik and T’Challa get in without a worry of a line or a cover charge. T’Challa is the head of the world’s richest country after all.

Heading inside, Cardi B is blasting as the ladies shake their asses to the beat. Erik can’t help but notice all the big round ass pointing to the sky like shrimp on a platter, and he wanted to chow DOWN. So maybe he looked every now and then, hell it was practically in his face.

“Damn, it’s hot in here tonight, you see this?” Erik asks, looking over at T’Challa with his head in his phone. “Nigga, what the hell you been lookin at this entire time?”

T’Challa puts his phone in his pocket. “Nothing. Oh wow, honeys everywhere, so sweet. Yum.” His tone is monotone as he makes his way to the bar area with Erik following in confusion.

Erik orders some Ciroc neat so his likelihood of a hangover is diminished. T’Challa asks for a beer.

“Uh uh, bartender scratch that. Get him some Crown Royal Black to start off with, neat.” Erik intervenes.

“That’s not what I wanted Erik. I have things to do tomorrow as well.” T’Challa hissed.

Erik sips on his drink. “Yeah, and I assume they entail meeting with Nakia, right?”

T’Challa sighs as his drink comes up, twisting the glass in his hand. “It’s not like I’m groveling for her attention, it’s work related.”

“And that’s the damn problem. You ain’t gettin a break from her to get your shit back on track. Okoye told me you be freezin, but nigga you in a Captain America ice brick.”

T’Challa looks at Erik scornfully. “I am so tired of you all joking about that around me. I know how to talk to a woman I admire like a normal human being.”

Erik flashes his golds with a sly smile looking across the dancefloor. “Ok, what about….her, in the yellow. You like that?”

T’Challa follows Erik’s direction to see a woman with a close cut dancing. “She reminds me of the Dora too much. No offense to them but they are like family.”

Erik nods. “Ok, I got you. Sooo...her, in the glittery number.”

This woman had locs going past her shoulders with jewelry adorning them. Her dark colored dress was skintight with glitter scatter across the neck traveling to the sides of her dress in strappy stilettos.

T’Challa nods. “Maybe. I can get to know her.”

“Now, hang on. You wanna know her for longer than tonight? That’s a whole other system I have to use to map out that possibility.”

“Oh how do you know? She could be very respectable.”

Erik claps his shoulder. “Now, not to be extra, but she can be respectable and sleep with you on the first date dawg. A woman’s worth ain’t based on that alone.”

T’Challa whacks his hand off. “I told you that! Don’t use my words against me, you know what I am saying!”

“Then go over there and get to talkin! I ain’t got all night man!” Erik says, sipping his drink as T’Challa goes over to her. Erik observes as they talk: she looks at him up and down, T’Challa offers a handshake which would’ve been a strike until he kissed her hand. Smooth, muthafucka! Erik thought.

As Erik polishes off his Ciroc, he orders one more for the road. While waiting, a woman catches his eye across the way. She looks like something straight out of a music video; titties sittin up and out, waist snatched with some wide hips that had to lead to a juicy behind if she turned around just a little bit. She runs her hand down her 3C wig as she bites her oxblood colored lips in the strobe lights.

Erik has to adjust himself for space in his pants, downing his drink in one gulp. He looks over at T’Challa, who has the girls arms wrapped around his neck, so things were progressing well. Erik looks back to the woman who blows a kiss at him in the most sexiest way he has ever seen. He curses himself as he retreats, heading to the bathroom.

There wasn’t a line thankfully as he goes to a urinal leaning against the wall. He tries to clear his mind of the sight of that woman; Grandma’s, dirty draws, IRS levies, anything to make his half mast dick go down. It had been too long since he busted; doctor’s orders to make sure they get an accurate sample, but he didn’t expect to be this weak. Erik has been away from his girl too long for the night, clearly, so once he was able to pee, he made a plan to get the hell out of there.

Coming out of the bathroom he practically runs someone over.

“Oh, there you are.”

Erik looks to see the baddie from across the way. Her body is almost flush with his since she didn’t take a step back from his almost collision.

“Are you followin me?” Erik asks suspiciously.

She flashes a 1000 watt smile, dimples and all. “No! The girl’s is just always too long to wait….”

They stand in front of each other for entirely too long given the context of the conversation.

“I’m Chanel, by the way.” She holds her hand out, pastel colored nails sharpened to points with jewels dorning the ring fingernail.

“I’m Erik.” Erik takes it, growing again subconsciously from the softness and beauty of her hand, imagining it wrapped around his…

“Well, go ahead, that’s free to use. I’ll be outta your hair.” Erik says practically tripping past her to pull himself from her magnetic charm. The evening is wearing him down fast as he tries to find T’Challa.

He finally spots him in between two women jostling for his attention as he smiles all shiny and clearly tipsy.

Erik grabs him by the shoulders. “Aight, let’s go ‘fore I turn into a pumpkin bruh.”

T’Challa laughs, eyes barely open as he hugs the women to him, putting them on display. “Iman, Chi, this is my cousin I was talking to you about. He wants to be a Daddy!”

This sets off laughter between the three as Erik grows impatient. “Challa, bring yourself on or you’ll have to be beggin for 50 cent a day to take your ass home.”

Iman, the woman Erik pointed out for T’Challa, quiets down from laughing first. “I’m sorry, Erin is it? T’Challa has been the life of the party here and we were planning to make a little after party for two later, right?”

She rubs his chest, kissing his neck which makes T’Challa laugh harder. “I’m ticklish…”

Chi, a high yellow woman who looks like she used to be a flyer on the cheerleading squad wraps her arm through Erik’s. “And I’m lookin for someone to call Daddy.”

Erik firmly peels her grip off, avoiding her batting fake eyelashes. “Girl if you don’t get the fu- T’Challa! Collect your shit, I’m leavin with or without you man.”

Erik walks through and out the club heading to his car. T’Challa stumbles not too far behind.

“Heeeeyy, Erik! I’m supposed to be having fun with women tonight, why are you breaking my balls, man?” T’Challa says, slurring his words as he whispers something to Iman, making her cackle. T’Challa must’ve ordered a bottle or two to be acting this lit.

Erik mugs T’Challa as he unlocks his doors. “Look like you got one, quit while you ahead. Am I droppin y’all both at the same place?”

“To mine!!” T’Challa bellows as he clumsily opens the door for his date.

Erik drives off with T’Challa and Iman in the backseat being playful. Erik checks his phone as he drives, seeing no sign of Kimara ever texting back. It’s going on 2 am. Erik goes to ask T’Challa a question when he looks in his rearview to see him on top of his date, hands completely up her skirt as she claws to take his shirt off.

“Aye, aye! Y’all ain’t fuckin in my car! Get up off her, T!” Erik hits T’Challa as he drives.

“Eh eh! Stop it, you are doing a lot right now, N’Jadaka. Calm yourself.” T’Challa whines as he lays on Iman’s bosom as she muffles her laughter.

Finally making it to T’Challa’s spot, Erik issues a warning. “Be easy on her T’Challa. That purple running through your ass could split her in half if you don’t pace yourself.”

T’Challa leans over the front seat putting a finger to his lips. “Shuuuush, that is my secret no one can know. Except Nakia, she knew how to….OH! Don’t forget to call me about helping you impregnate your wife.”

“Congrats on fatherhood!” Iman waves at Erik as she helps T’Challa out the car.

Erik waves weakly back watching them go inside, handsy and excited to finish what they started. Erik sighs as he pulls off to his crib, reminiscing on his days or being that wild and free with his sexuality. Kimara is his one and only now, and he loves every minute of it, but the baddie at the club was sticking to his mind a little too deeply.

When Erik makes it home, he steps into the bedroom to see Kimara lying asleep, facing away from him. Erik gets undressed and takes a quick shower to freshen up before sliding across the sheets to hug his wife into him.

“Mmm, stop, I’m sleeping.” Kimara moans, batting his arms away.

“I missed you, girl, that’s all.” Erik says quietly, kissing her shoulder, hands traveling down her side roughly.

Kimara snaps her head back. “Erik, I’m serious, get on somewhere. You missed your opportunity goin out with T’Challa, now you need to rest up any damn way.” Kimara punches her pillow a couple times before flopping down on it.

Erik kisses his teeth sitting up. “So you don’t wanna ask me about my night? How T’Challa is? Anything about what we did tonight?’

“Erik, I don’t give a fuck about nothin but taking my ass to sleep, so if you would stop talkin I can do that.”

“Shit, I wish you was like this when I get off work…” Erik says under his breath.

“There’s a lotta things I wish you would do for me Erik, but Imma save your manhood til the doctor got time to see you. Good fuckin night!”

Erik lays there staring at the ceiling, words completely lost on him to express himself. Kimara’s attitude in all its glory, and he just had to take it. Erik is feeling less and less like a man in his own home. Kimara wants so much outta him, he plays it cool but it was starting to affect him. When that girl looked at him like that in the club, it was a gaze he hadn’t gotten in at least a month from Kimara.

The next morning, Erik rolls around to an empty bed. Kimara got an early start to her day, leaving Erik to be responsible for getting to his appointment on time. He arrived 30 minutes late.

“Erik Stevens!” The nurse calls out to him in the waiting room to cue his turn to be seen.

The middle age white woman goes over the usual height, weight, blood pressure and asks about his medical history. Erik is not a fan of doctors, so this took a lot for him to show up to. But if it was important to Kimara, he’d go through with it.

He was left alone to stare at the white walls with diagrams of scrotums and reproductive facts until the nurse came back with a cup and a clipboard.

“Ok, Mr. Stevens, you will take this into room 3B. Be very sure you go into 3B, you aren’t our only patient today and we don’t want to make any awkward introductions with the others, ok?” She says eyes crinkling as she hands him the cup.

Erik looks at the cup curiously. “You sure this ain’t for horses or somethin? I’m supposed to fill this?”

The nurse looks at him with amused pity, patting his shoulder. “No dear, you contribute as much as God intends. The size just makes for an easier catch.”

Erik mutters a thank you and makes his way over to his ‘donation station’, keeping his eye on 3B. He still knocks before entering just in case and walks in, closing the door behind him. The room was simple, an exam bed next to a tub of lube, with an old school TV on a table with a DVD player and some magazines.

Erik breathed a sigh of relief as it seems she was past last night for now.

Erik bites his lip holding the phone in his hands, getting some devilish thoughts in his brain.

Nah, not yet. They got pornos here but I ain’t feelin them.

He sends the message and waits a little bit hoping she gets what he’s trying to say. He saved their best work on his computer at home but he hadn’t backed them up for him to access on his phone yet.

A few minutes pass and he’s getting anxious picking up the phone again to text an outright request before his phone dings. The icon of a video message appears and Erik’s dick is already getting hard. Pressing play he sees her come up on screen smiling with the sun on her face beaming in a halter bikini. This is a video from their vacation last year to the Bahamas. They stayed at an Airbnb that was way over budget but worth it. Kimara giggles talking in a vlog style on the balcony before Erik slips up behind her, hugging her waist and kissing her behind her ear.

“You vloggin baby? Look at us, we fuckin cute as shit.” Erik said, speech slurred.

Kimara giggles so hard her eyes close. “You messin up my shot Erik, dang! I’m tryna document our trip for later.”

Erik lays on Kimara as she leans over the rail of the patio, gripping her breast greedily. “You documentin everythin?”

“Mhm.” Kimara nods as she looks at Erik from the camera’s front facing view.

As the scene progresses Erik takes his pants down and pumps the lube from the side table to start working on himself. Leaning back on the bed he gets comfortable as he watches his hands travel Kimara’s body, stripping her slowly and her reacting blissfully. Her moans and foul language keep him focused on his stroke as Erik in the video commandeers the camera to show him entering her from behind. Erik breathes in sharply as he recalls her tightness around him as he jacks himself faster. The camera pans to Kimara arching, her braids splayed across her back as she works herself back on him, gripping the rail for dear life. Her moans become louder and more breathless as she approaches her tipping point, Erik in the doctors office and Erik in the video curse in unison over their shared pleasure. When the camera shows his dick covered in her creamy secretions he barely had time to grab the cup and collect his sample. He groaned as he choked his dick to get every spurt he could into it.

“Alright, y’all better show out in them tests.” He tells his little soldiers as he caps the cup.

As Erik came down from his high, he calls Kimara with his clean hand.

“Hey, baby. How are you?” Kimara asks. He can hear her smiling as she talks.

“Now you know what the fuck you just did.” Erik says laughing.

“And I know what you just did! That’s a favorite, I loved that trip.”

“Shit, you tellin me. I fuckin miss that island, it just brought out a different energy in us.”

There’s a pause on Kimara’s end. “It did huh? Maybe we can plan to go there again soon? It would be a nice time of the year, I got vacation time to take.”

Erik stuffs his dick back in his pants, sitting up. “I like that idea. I got one demand though if we go.”

“Anything.” Kimara says seductively.

“No talk of tryna get pregnant, kids, babies, fertility windows, none of that. I still feel like our biggest problem is stressing out about it. We just need to go on and when it happens, it happens. The doc said it could take over a year, so I mean I just don’t wanna see you going out of your mind about this. You need to relax some and just be you again.”

Kimara sighs. “You can’t plan a trip and think all of our problems are just gonna go like that. Sweeping things under the rug will just-”

“Problems? As in plural? Whatchu talkin bout, Mara?”

“Nothing, I don’t wanna do this over the phone, I gotta go.”

Erik looks at the call ending on his phone loses any relaxation he just gained a few minutes ago.

also! @cassammydean and i were talking about the last episode, and we realised that i’d misinterpreted that final scene.

it looked (to me) like, while mary was tied up, her phone rang, and ketch went over to it. then the camera panned up and ketch had turned into toni. and i legit thought ketch and toni were the SAME PERSON (shapeshifter maybe) and i got to expressing how cool that was, and how that brought back the ~gay subtext~ from 11x23 with the rainbow light on toni’s face, because if ketch=toni, and ketch bangs mary, then that’s kinda non-heterosexual since gender isn’t a defined thing for ketch=toni

i realised i’d seen it all wrong. ketch starts to move over to mary’s phone, but then camera pans up, and toni comes in from the oTHER SIDE and answers it. she’s wearing the same grey suit as ketch was. I WAS TRICKED BY THE COSTUME CHOICES. they were both in the room, ketch in front of mary, toni behind her, wearing the same suit.

and i’m still kinda bummed because if ketch=toni that would’ve been really cool imo

just thinking, while looking over the list of spn episodes and their writers

if i wasn’t part of the spn fandom, and didn’t check which writer wrote what, i’d dislike this show just because of these writers, and i wouldn’t even realise it was the same writers over and over.

the kind of shit they write is exactly what puts me off a show. shows like ‘castle’ or ‘the x files’ or ‘psych’ are good overall, but occasionally they’ll have a problematic thing that i can ignore for one episode, recognising that it’s a one-off writer, and i’ll stick with the show. but spn has those kind of issues four or five times a season, when these two are writing - and not in a small way, either. if i was a casual watcher, i’d have ragequit already, thinking it was just how the show is.

and i’d probably vote this show 3/10 and never watch it again

just because of these two writers
