But he finds out either way when you go behind his back and adopt the pet you wanted

He deadpans

"The watery eyes and congestion were obvious"

In his excitement, he'd forget you're allergic and buy it anyway

You had been watching videos of pets and always going up to people at the park asking if you could pet their animal

He hadn't noticed the symptoms since you have allergy pills most of the time

So he'd gone and bought, wanting to surprise you with it until he found out you're allergic :(

He felt sad too and almost shed a tear when he had to give it away, such wasted joy for him lol

This man would always have your medication on hand incase you wanted to pet a random stray in the street or someone's pet

He'd search for alternative options

Kinda like how some people are allergic to dogs, for example, but are fine around hypoallergenic dogs

He thinks maybe something like that could apply to whatever pet you want

Roach

He prob has his fair share of allergies too

Dealing with the skin flare-ups and sneezing is totally worth it when the cat/doggo was fluffy

The only solution the both of you could come up with is having an unreasonable amount of stuffed animals around the house

You could both pet them without suffering from the allergies, problem solved
