It's finally done cooking, my sims gameplay ideas list! After scouring all types of sites, generators, lists, and my brain for ingredients, I've come up with a list stew that hopefully will spark some inspiration for your sims gameplays!
This non exhaustive list consists of ideas that are applicable to sims gameplay/things to do in-game. AKA things that can be played out in the sims or half pretended. If you're looking for less-gameplay story ideas, I recommend my story/conflict idea list. Most of the conflict and love ideas are on that list. Please feel free to send asks to add to the gumbo! Just note in your ask that it's for the gumbo and keep it applicable/feasible for gameplay. (To keep the post from getting too long I'll make a contributor list into a compressed image later on for those who send off-anon.)
If you are looking for more complex, in-game story ideas check out the Story Soup list here!

No More Pain- Mother! Reader x Son! Butters (fluff)
TW- Infertility, Child Abuse
hey everyone! so this is a little outside of what I usually write. I recently watched South Park again and I realized there is absolutely no fanfiction on a mother reader adopting butters as their son. so here’s a wholesome lil story about you adopting butters and taking him away from his evil parents :)
The cold, hard rain pounded on the hills of the Colorado Soil. The same little peaceful mountain town you always knew.
You recently had moved here from Denver. Denver was only about an hour away so you could still see your family frequently and they were very close by. You recently had gotten married with your husband Lee Johnson. Lee was a wonderful man and treated you like absolute royalty. All you could’ve ever hoped and prayed for.
You had a nice little cottage a little ways from town. It seemed almost too perfect, a little cottage for you and your husband to spend the rest of your days in.
Except, there was a piece missing.
“I’m sorry Mrs.Johnson, it seems that your eggs are.. infertile.” The doctor spoke softly, laying down his clip board.
The doctor had actually been an old friend of Lee’s, they had gone to school together for a while and became close. His name was Dr. Rick Morrison.
You felt everything in your world absolutely shatter. The world had felt like it stopped turning for a moment.
“What.. no! There has to be a mistake!” You protested, immediately going into denial.
The doctor looked at you with sympathy in his eyes, laying a comforting hand on your shoulder.
“I’m so sorry. I wish there was something I could do. I know you both were very excited to have children. Please let me know if there is anything I can do to support you both through this.” He looked sad too, and grieved with you.
You thanked him and he hugged you. He was a great man and he always had looked out for you when you needed a check up.
You got in the car and tried to compose yourself. This was not something you easily could recover from.
On the way home, you worried how you were going to break the news to your husband. He was going to be just as, if not more devastated than you are.
You let a few tears slide down your cheek. You were trying so hard to hold it together, gripping tightly onto the steering wheel of you car.
You looked at the picture you had of you and Lee on your wedding day, sitting on the stairs of the local church.
And then to the baby clothes you had bought on sale that your friend was giving away, just in case the miraculous day finally would happen for you too.
You looked up to the sky.
“Why couldn’t it be us?” You questioned, as if asking God why.
You pulled over on the side of the rocky road. There was already one bad thing about today, you didn’t need another to happen.
You let everything out. You screamed, you cried, you hit your dashboard.
You finally had calmed down. You had accepted it. You and Lee would never have a child.
And maybe.. all you needed was eachother after all.
You started the car back up, driving away from the side of the road.
You had entered back into town, a few minutes away from your house.
Just then, you see something that makes your heart lurch.
A small, young boy, huddled next to dumpster.
His head was hung.. almost like he was crying and weeping.
Your flight or fight response set in. What if it was a trap to lure you in? You were a lone woman, after all.
But.. he was so small and frail..
Well.. if you were gonna die, you were gonna die trying to save a child, at least.
You parked your car a little ways back, so you wouldn’t scare him.
You gently closed your car door, making sure that wouldn’t scare him off either.
You finally got to the dumpster, a few feet away from where he was.
He was indeed crying. Sobbing, in fact.
His cries absolutely broke your heart. No little boy should be crying like that.
And then you looked to his body. His body almost seemed lifeless, so emancipated and thin. Like he hadn’t eaten in years.
He looked to be dirty too. His skin was covered in dirt.
You finally mustered up enough courage to speak.
“H-hi there.” You spoke gingerly, not wanting to spook him.
The boy immediately jumped, letting out a scream.
“No, no! I’m not here to hurt you I-I promise!” You defended yourself, throwing your hands up.
He calmed down and looked at you for a minute. He seemed to be.. at ease, almost.
“Who-who are you?” He questioned, curiosity in his voice. He had a light little voice with a touch of a southern drawl.
You stuck out your hand for him to shake. “I’m Y/N Johnson. What’s your name?” You gently smiled, trying to show him it was okay to approach you.
“Uh-uh.. Butters, ma’am. Butters Stotch.” He replied nervously, cautiously taking your hand.
“Nice to meet you Butters,” you smiled at him gently.
“What are you doing out here on a cold rainy night like this?” You sat down in the snow gently next to him.
“My-my parents locked me out of the house. They told me I should never come back. I don’t know what I did.. I was just playing action figures in my room and then my dad came in and slapped me and then my mom told me I was never allowed back in.” He began to cry, the hot tears spilling down his cheeks.
You felt your heart break, a huge pit in your chest. A sweet, precious boy like him should never have to go through something like that.
“Oh no. I’m so sorry to hear that,” you spoke softly.
“Would you like a hug? I know that has to be very scary.” You opened your arms out for a hug, you just wanted to comfort him until he stopped crying.
He finally looked up at you. He was a beautiful little boy. Baby blue eyes, light blonde hair, a small, little button nose, long eyelashes, and a few freckles here and there.
His eyes held so much emotion. You could almost feel like in that moment he finally accepted that you were trying to help him.
“S-sure, Miss.Johnson.” He moved closer to you, wrapping his little arms around you.
You made sure to gently hug him back. He was so thin, you were scared to even touch him.
“Hey.. it’s kind of cold out here and wet.. I have a car parked over there with a heater and I have some stuff I could dry you off with, would you like that?” You looked down at him, he had his little head leaned against your shoulder for support.
He looked up at you with pure innocence in his eyes.
“Really? You wouldn’t mind doing that?” He almost seemed shocked that you would do such a thing to take care of him.
“Of course not.” You smiled back at him.
“Come on. It’s over here.” You stood up gently, him not letting go of you.
You carried him to your car, sitting him in the back. He felt so light.
You took all the baby blankets and clothes you had and tried your best to remember how to swaddle. You also had some towels in your car too so once you had swaddled him with the blankets and clothes, you draped as many towels as you could on him.
“That alright, Butters?” You questioned, looking at him.
He snuggled into the warmth.
“It’s very nice. I’m starting to feel warm again.” He replied.
“Good. Hang tight, okay? I’m going to take you to my house. We have lots of food and a place where you can sleep, okay?” You smiled at him again, buckling him up. You also had a booster seat in you car from when you had babysat your cousin’s kids and she wanted you to have it just in case.
“O-Okay Mrs.Johnson.” He replied softly.
You finally saw a little smile spread across his face.
What a truly angelic sight.
You gently kissed his forehead and got in the driver’s seat.
You dialed up your husband and told him what was going on.
He was ready to help too.
You finally got to your cottage. You carried Butters inside and sat him down on the couch.
You ran a hot bath, with your husband monitoring Butters.
You both helped give him a nice, warm bath, which helped him warm up immensely. He finally was clean too.
But, another sight that broke your heart.
There were scars, littered all over his back. Some big and some small.
You spared a sad glance at your husband, almost with a few tears in your eyes. Your husband shared your sympathy, with him wrapping his arm around your waist and pulling you closer to him.
Butters was fast asleep on the couch, under a big, warm, fluffy blanket.
You had given him some warm, fuzzy pajama’s your cousin’s son accidentally left over at your house.
He looked like an absolute angel fast asleep.
Poor thing probably hadn’t slept well in a while.
Your husband had already started the fire, which helped him warm up.
“Well, darling, what do we need to do now? He’s fast asleep and the poor thing probably hasn’t slept in ages.” You looked at your husband, who eyed the boy sadly.
“Do you think he’s hungry? He looks like he hasn’t eaten in a while.” He questioned, looking back at you.
“It’s worth a shot. I’ll go wake up him if you could get the food.” You nodded.
“Done and done, sugarplum.” He kissed your forehead before walking off to the fridge.
You softly put your hand on Butters’ shoulder.
“Butters, sugar, wake up for just a minute.” You spoke softly.
He stirred and fluttered his eyes open.
“Are you hungry?” You smiled, looking into those sweet, innocent blue eyes.
“I am a little.. the last time I ate was right before you found me. I found a bag of 2 half eaten donuts. I figured.. that would have been enough to last me for a little while.” He explained, rubbing his fingers together nervously.
Your heart absolutely broke into pieces for a third time. How long had he been doing this?
“Well, we have some food that you can have. What would you like?” You smiled.
“W-well, I like pancakes.. but it’s 12 in the mornin’.” He rubbed his fingers together nervously again.
“Well sweetheart, we’ll make those for you if you want them. My husband here is actually amazing at making pancakes.” You encouraged, you really wanted him to eat.
“O-okay. If that’s okay with you.” He softly said back.
“Of course, sweetheart. Do you like tv? While he makes those for you we can watch TV together if you want.” You sat next to him.
“Uh.. sure. I like Terrance and Phillip sometimes and sometimes Little Bunny Foo Foo.. (I’m making it a show lol).”
You remembered looking up that show for your cousins you babysit.
“Okay, sweetheart. Let me look that up for you.” You smiled, grabbing the remote.
Yup, exactly as you remembered, channel 444.
“Here you go, Butters.” You smiled, laying down the remote.
“Thanks.. Ma..Ma..” he drifted off back to sleep.
You felt your heart absolutely flutter in delight. You wanted nothing more than to be called Mama. A few tears escaped your eyes.
“You heard that too, right?” You whispered to your husband in the kitchen, who was cooking pancakes in the kitchen.
“I did, baby.” He smiled, serving the pancakes on a plate.
“So what did Rick tell you?” He turned, hugging you from behind.
“Uh.. uh.. yeah.. I was gonna tell you.. before I.. I got back..” you stuttered, afraid of what his reaction was going to be.
“I’m infertile, honey.” You looked up at him, tears threatening to spill again.
He held a shocked expression, but immediately ran to your side and held you.
“I’m here, I’m here baby. We’re going to get through this. I love you.” He repeated, holding you tight.
“I love you too.” You sighed, holding him just as tight.
Butters eventually woke back up and ate, like a wolf that had just caught it’s piece of prey. That poor boy was absolutely starving, but you felt so grateful you could help him eat again.
It was way past his bed time, so you had decided to put him back to sleep on the couch so you could keep an eye on him.
Your husband had gone to bed and asked you to let him know if Butters had any problems. You told him you would keep an eye on him.
Eventually, however, you had fallen asleep, with Butters propped up on your right shoulder.
Morning had come. Butters was reported missing. You wondered how that could work, because his parents had shut him out of his own house.
Eventually, the police had been called to find him. Butters parents had their house investigated and they were questioned thoroughly before being arrested on charges of child neglect, premeditated murder and child abuse.
The next few months, everything began to fall perfectly into place. You and your husband volunteered to foster Butters until he could find a new home. Butters had been eating regularly, had made art for you and your husband to hang on the fridge, and seemed to be getting his personality back.
“Honey, I think it’s time.” Your husband smiled at you, beaming with glee.
You were confused. “Huh?”
“I emailed the foster care place. They said we can come in to sign the adoption papers later today.” He smiled, taking your hands gently.
“R-really? Are you sure? It’s only been about 3 months..” you replied nervously.
“I think we’re more than ready. Look how we’re worked together as a team that night. We’ve waited so long for this and we’re on the brink of it.. do you really want to wait that much longer?” He questioned, care in his voice and his forest green eyes.
You felt determined. That child was going to be yours and your family would finally be complete.
“Okay. Let’s do it.” You grinned at your husband.
You had taken Butters with you too the foster care place, walking up to the front desk.
You signed the papers inconspicuously, making sure Butters didn’t see. You wanted this to be a complete surprise to him.
Once you signed the papers, you thanked the lady at the front desk and went out to the car, but not before a cheerful smile and a “congratulations” was said.
You and your husband smiled to yourselves, but a confused Butters looked at you curiously.
Your husband held Butters while you got his little shirt. You had it in your closet just in case you decided to ever adopt a child.
And lucky you, today was that day.
Butters read the shirt.
“Happy.. Gotcha Day..” he read softly.
He immediately began to tear up.
“Are.. are you my parents now?” He questioned, looking up at you and your husband.
You and your husband both grinned ear to ear.
“That’s right. Welcome to the family, Mr. Butters Stotch Johnson.” Lee smiled, kissing the little boy on his forehead.
“Welcome home, my beloved angel.” You walked up to him, kissing his forehead.
From then on, Butters was the answer to your prayer, the angel sent from the heavens. And you wouldn’t have it any other way. ❤️

Weekend mornings are airport dog park mornings. It was rather quiet at MSP while I was there, both aviation-wise and with canines. Above is a Boeing 717, to me a very boring airplane to watch. Sulley tried to catch more birds. The score is currently Birds - 1715, Sulley - 0.
Two huge Bernese Mountain Dogs crossed my path. That is one of the happiest breeds I know of. My sister is getting one later this year.
After dropping off my dogs at home I went to the laundromat again. My washer isn't fixed yet. I started pricing some new machines at a local store I like (absolutely not Best Buy) and am starting to lean towards new. The current washer was already making a funny sound on some cycles. Maybe a repair now is just a band aid when there is suspected, but undiagnosed, gear cancer.
The laundromat was really quiet so I read. It rained lightly, so I didn't feel like I was wasting time. I love the smell of laundry detergent and Bounce (though I never use those useless dryer sheets).
Later I went to Target. We're out of Ziploc sandwich and quart sized plastic bags. There is a wooden holder for them in one of the kitchen drawers. The empty slots were bugging me despite that I did not actually need to put anything in a bag today.
While I was at Target I saw shorts and shirts on sale. That "30% off" sign attracted me like the scent of Rocky Rococo pizza at bar-time in college. LL Bean, Duluth Trading, and at one time Lands' End, were some of my favorite clothes stores. But holy cow, the prices these days. Even before "30% off" my Target shorts and shirts were very reasonably priced.
There was one problem. I bought three white t-shirts. At home, I tore open the package. Only then did I realize I mistakenly got V-necks. I hate V-neck t-shirts. These I'll probably wear a few times, give them a chance to change my mind. Likely though they will become garage rags well before they're worn out.
My day wasn't over yet. I got out my single speed Surly Cross Check which I haven't used in a while. I brought it to the Minneapolis lakes. I've ridden those lake paths thousands of times since I starting going there when I was about 10-years-old. I never tire of people watching and looking at the nice houses.
I don't work tomorrow. On the way home from the lakes I stopped to get some beer. Doesn't everyone need a Hug now and them? Of course! The package of 12 Beer Hugs, in four varieties, caught my eye. I just poured a Neon Beer Hug.

Legend of Zelda Theme Park - Death Mountain (UPDATED)
Tumblr media
Death Mountain is to the north of Castle Town (just as it is usually in the north on the game map). The whole area is sculpted as a reddish-brown canyon landscape, with walkways gently sloping upward toward the artificial volcano which dominates the scene, “erupting” every half hour with a display of pyrotechnics and smoke effects. The volcano in turn is the upper portion of a massive show building which occupies roughly half the area’s footprint and houses several of its attractions. Interior spaces are designed as rocky caves lit by torches and glowing crystals. The exterior background music highlights various iterations of Death Mountain and other mountainous areas in the games, as well as music associated with the Gorons. However, the interior queue space for the two big rides has its own music loop, drawing from fire and volcano-themed dungeons.
Tumblr media
Attractions
Spirit Train (Mountain Station)
Crystal Caverns: A very simple attraction, more like a scenic view. The pathways through the Death Mountain area include side branches that veer through short stretches of tunnel lined with multicolored glowing crystals and gemstone veins. (These are marked on the detailed map with squiggly shading.) Make a habit of following these side paths, and you will find one that heads a little deeper into the mountainside, culminating in a spectacular cavern of exotic stone formations and massive crystal clusters that make soft chiming music as their colors shift through the spectrum.
Goro-Gondolas: Not an intense ride, but still exciting on its own terms, the Goro-Gondolas are boats in a flume…but the water is continuously under-lit with warm-toned lights, giving it the appearance of a glowing lava river! The ten to twelve-minute circuit includes lifts and gentle drops, and in the meantime, the boat passes by numerous detailed scenes of Gorons going about their daily lives—mining for choice rocks to eat, tending Bomb Flower gardens, soaking in hot springs, engaging in athletic competitions, rolling from place to place, etc. At other points, similarly lit “leaping” fountains send streams of “lava” arcing over the flume. From time to time, the flume even exits the interior of the mountain, giving riders a view of the area, and at other points, it shares a scene with the Dodongo Dive-Bomb track.
Gut Check Challenge Arena: A play area, but more…advanced than the Picori Picnic Park in the Lost Woods. Named after the Goron-hosted mini-games in Breath of the Wild, this attraction features rock-climbing walls, obstacle courses, and other stamina-testing activities. The especially bold can sign up for the Gut Check Challenge itself, a rock-climbing event held several times a day on the big wall, with real medals awarded to the winners.
Sworn Brothers Meeting Hall: A meet-and-greet location for favorite Goron characters, including Ocarina of Time’s Darunia, Majora’s Mask’s Darmani, and Breath of the Wild’s Daruk and Yunobo.
Dodongo Dive-Bomb: The number just marks the queue entrance–this ride is a big one! Arguably the biggest thrill in the park, it is a mag-launched roller coaster with cars designed to resemble a chain of minecarts. It takes place mostly inside the cinder cone of the volcano, twisting through lava-lit caverns infested with fire-breathing Dodongo lizards, occasionally breaking out into the open before diving right back into the mountain. The climax takes place in a spacious cavern inhabited by a ferocious dragon, and the train makes a loop around its head and neck in order to escape!
Shops
7. From Mine to Yours: A rock and mineral shop offering all sorts of tumbled semiprecious stones, crystals, carved charms and figurines, geodes (with an option to have them cut open on-site), Himalayan salt lamps, stone-based knickknacks, and books about minerals and gems. For those with fancier tastes, there’s even a special sales counter where precious jewelry is available for purchase. In the center of the store is a fountain mimicking a sluice full of gem-bearing slurry, the employees wear overalls and hard hats with mounted headlights, and the shop slogan “Ore and More!” derives from the name of a similar business in Breath of the Wild.
8. Forged in Fire: Being rooted in a medieval(-ish) fantasy franchise is likely to give this theme park some appeal for historical weapons enthusiasts, and this shop is for them, offering a selection of sturdy, functional swords, daggers, axes, and shields, including some replicas of famous designs. (Naturally, various noteworthy swords from the games themselves are among them.) Modern camping/hunting knives are also available, and every purchase of a blade includes a fine hardened leather sheath. However, we can’t have people walking around a theme park with real weapons, so all purchases will be either held at the front of the park for pickup upon exiting, or shipped to the guest for an additional fee. (This is true of any retail location in the park that sells metal weapons, even if they aren’t made to be functional.)
9. Goron Spice Rack: “A spicy nook for spicy cooks” declares the sign out front. Lovers of herbs and seasonings will find much to love in here, with a wide selection of culinary flavorings. Pick a jar or bottle off the shelf or have a mix blended to order! We especially recommend the various types of “Goron Spice” (mostly curry powder and paprika, with assorted variations), made famous by Breath of the Wild.
10. Ripped and Shredded: A shop for sporting goods and memorabilia located next to the Gut Check Challenge Arena. Includes lines of tongue-in-cheek jerseys, caps, and other items referencing peoples, groups, and locations in the LoZ franchise as if they were sports teams. Named after the Goron armor shop in Breath of the Wild.
Eateries
11. Magma Munchies: Adventurous foodies will love this place, where everything on the menu—meat, veggies, fries, and more—is hot and spicy. The intensity ranges widely, from “Hawaiian” (mild curry) all the way up to “Ultra-Plinian” (ghost peppers). Hot sauces are available for purchase at the Goron Spice Rack.
12. Rock Candy Stand: Pretty much exactly what it says: an outdoor kiosk with various colors of traditional rock candy (i.e. sugar crystals on a stick), chocolate “pebbles,” Ring Pops and Pop Rocks, and other mineral-themed sweet treats.
13. Protein Palace: They say the rocky ground of Death Mountain is so hot, you can drop food to cook right on it! That may or may not be true, but this Mongolian BBQ buffet uses a more conventional stainless steel hibachi. Choose a protein (beef, chicken, or tofu) and a selection of vegetables, noodles, sauces, and other ingredients, and your food is cooked up while you watch!

It happened in a single night and rippled through the city of Iwatobi like a wave.
***
Miyako glided as quickly as the wind would carry her over the dark, quiet coastline, towards the inner city. Her clan had just said their goodbyes and were one by one going back to business as usual until only Hiro and Tachi, her closest friends, were left, watching her until her silhouette disappeared.
“Think she’ll be happier?” Tachi asked, finally moving towards one of two abandoned beach homes the clan utilized for storage. She pushed the door open, its handle long gone, grabbed two empty backpacks hanging on the wall, and gave one to her companion.
“She’ll definitely be less restless,” Hiro replied, maneuvering the backpack’s straps under his wings, over his shoulders and clipping them into place. “The city will keep her busy.”
Tachi adjusted her own pack. “I just hope she’ll be safe, I worry every time another one of us goes over there.”
“You two worry too much,” a burly grey tank of a gargoyle chuckled—the leader of the clan, Ono. He approached the house with a slow saunter as they came outside. “Don’t worry for her, have confidence in her! She’s not the first of ours to transfer to Samezuka and I doubt she’ll be the last.”
“I have no doubt the Samezuka clan will be safe, I’m hoping the Samezuka district is as kind,” Tachi stretched her green feathered wings a few times, pulling their muscles and testing the currents coming in from the waves.
“Well, Seijuro left and I haven’t heard any complaints from him. Between you two and me, the last I spoke to him, Toraichi said he was heavily considering our boy as his second.”
Hiro’s eyes lit up. “So soon?”
“It’s not official or anything, but Seij has proven himself more than capable of taking charge. Not going to lie, I’m kind of jealous, he was such a hothead before he left, guess city living humbled him.” Ono rubbed the back of his neck and looked out at the expanse of beach that lay before him on either side.
Right in the middle of the vast beach and small grassy hill were two beach houses that had been put up for sale and abandoned long ago. Gargoyles weren’t the best carpenters, but they did what they could to keep the homes as neat as possible, sweeping away dust and keeping their belongings organized. The paint outside had started to chip in some places, but that was of little concern. His clan was scattered throughout the beach, talking, playing, swimming in the waves, exercising their wings in the skies—this was where the Iwatobi clan lived, far enough from humans to live as they pleased without being on constant alert.
It was rumored amongst the clan that their ancestors came from the mountains and eventually migrated down to the coast.
The houses came some five or so years ago, and Ono was sure they would have to give up their beachside home, but the two houses were built, construction was halted before more could go up, and no humans ever came. The closest beaches occupied by humans were miles away, the clan protected by an uninhabitable rocky cliff to one side, and miles of wilderness beyond the beach on the other. The Iwatobi clan didn’t know much about human customs, save for what they bothered to learn from the fae folk they made supply runs to, and eventually the clan grasped enough of the concept of how humans used money to learn that the houses were too expensive for their own good, so they fell through and the clan was once again safe.
They now used the homes as an epicenter, storing supplies, food, clothes, personal items and occasionally gathering inside when weather inclined. Everyone worked to keep the houses tidy and the beach clean. The beach had long since been declared closed by the authorities and haunted by the locals and the Iwatobi clan rarely ventured into the city unless making supply runs, which Hiro and Tachi were assigned to tonight. Miyako grew up in this clan and at some point she found cleaning and swimming too dull for her senses and craved something more exciting; shortly after, she met Toraichi.
“Go on, you two, you’re wasting moonlight,” Ono said, as the pair climbed to the roof of one of the houses, caught a gust a wind and flew towards the city.
Iwatobi was a large but modest island city, connected to the rest of the world through bridges and ferries on the west side; it grew from infancy as a small fishing town and had since tripled in size, though not so much in grandeur. It had its checkpoints—choice restaurants, lovely housing options, and a downtown one could describe as bustling on the right day—but was rarely filled with excitement or experiences typically associated with a city of its size. Located in the heart of the city was the social hub known as the Samezuka district, an expanse of shops and noise that spanned about three blocks, where the other gargoyle clan resided.
Miyako tucked her wings close to her as she maneuvered between vacant streets and dark alleys, forced to be more wary of humans. She flew down into one alley, gliding silently over a passing car, and pressed herself against the cement wall. She watched as people yelled over the crowd, trying to hear themselves, keeping their eyes glued to the path in front of them or to the ground to avoid relentless salespersons. If anything new or exciting came to Iwatobi, Samezuka would find it first and spread it through the rest of the city like a literal heartbeat, pumping ideas, merchandise and the promise of something bigger, better, flasher. On the opposite end of the street, a large billboard was in the process of being built; another sign to sell another product. Miyako had never seen actual daylight, but she surmized Samezuka was just as bright. The energy in the street was invigorating, she was almost tempted to walk out and experience the rush for herself, but instead she sighed and scaled the wall, making her way to the roof.
In the short distance, she saw shadows moving across the rooftops—they’d almost be undetectable if she didn’t know what she was looking at—and her heart thrummed loudly in her chest when one of the shadows made their way towards her.
Toraichi was a built gargoyle with medium brown skin, his body covered in dark stripes outlined in white. His large batlike wings wrapped lazily around Miyako, bringing her closer.
“Welcome home,” Toraichi said, gently tucking a strand of long red hair out of her face.
They fell into each other’s arms like it was the one place they were always meant to be. Toraichi was the young leader of the Samezuka district clan, a caring and considerate leader who worked alongside his clan rather than ruled over it. He came to the city with a handful of rogues—gargoyles that lived on their own—some years before. They found a home in Samezuka, taking an immediate liking to how much busier it was than the rest of the city, and soon afterwards they were found by the Iwatobi clan. Younger members of the home clan, curious about the newcomers, would often hang around until some became a permanent part of it, and the ragtag Samezuka group of no more than five quickly grew to fifteen.

I haven't posted in a while because of my disgust with all this expansion and am getting ready to retire and move away from this dump that Murfreesboro and the surrounding areas have become. Today, I came across an article about 399, the world-renowned bear that died by car strike because of Jackson Hole's expansion to accommodate Westerners. This article may refer to the Teton NP and extended parameters, but it is apropos as it mirrors what is happening in the state of TN. Our beautiful land that once housed beautiful creatures is now gone. Yesterday, I counted three red foxes, one turkey vulture, two deer, two cats, one dog, one turkey, and no telling what I did not see. The dens of the foxes have been destroyed and they are looking for places to bear their kits. How sad. Just as long as you build your million dollar homes, apartment complexes, and townhomes who gives a crap about the land and animals. Here is the article that is so wonderfully written. If you report and have this removed, question your purpose because you must feel quite guilty.
"They called it paradise. The place to be. A mountain realm like no other.
A place where the spectacular Teton range rises six thousand feet above the valley floor, offering one of the most distinct and dramatic mountain fronts in the world.
Below the striking peaks, the mighty Snake River meanders through a sagebrush valley dotted with aspen and pine. And it is here that I once met a great grizzly bear.
She was known as Grizzly 399.
I’ve been filming in Grand Teton National Park and the Northern Rockies for twenty years. A few years ago, I had the honor of filming 399 when she had her quadruplets. It was the first trip I’d made to Grand Teton to specifically see the great bear.
And the last. Why the last?
Because I saw what was happening. Could feel what was happening. I wanted to give the great bear space. I didn’t want to be chasing her around the park, waiting in my car with heated leather seats, hoping she’d cross the road, all the while hemming her in.
I knew what was happening. Full size commercials jets were flying overhead, landing at an international airport that should never even be there. Dropping off passengers to a growing town that wasn’t meant to be there. Driving to stores that should have never been built there.
For 28 years, Grizzly 399’s world shrunk all around her. Slowly, year by year she had to make adjustments to the sprawl and greed of Jackson Hole. To the sprawl and greed of the human race.
She did the best she could as we closed in. As we built more and more storage facilities and hotels and developed properties merely for vacation rentals, so we could stuff more cash in our pockets, ultimately sacrificing one of the most beautiful places the world has ever known in the process.
She raised her cubs in all this for decades. Navigated through it all, a steady ship in a stormy sea. Each wave just a little taller than the last.
And yet the people came. More full size commercial airliners roaring into an international airport that should never have been there. Dropping off people who wanted to “own a piece of the Tetons”.
But when you buy or develop a house next to a national park, you don’t capture a piece of that park.
You ruin it.
What had once been a wild valley slowly turned into the suburbs, and Grizzly 399 handled it all with aplomb. She didn’t have to. But she did.
More and more photographers swarmed to the Tetons to see her every year. More and more “investment properties” went up, causing more people to drive the roadways. More stores were built. More drones flew overhead. More airplanes roared in the sky.
Each year her world shrunk.
And this fall, it finally closed in on her.
That poor driver didn’t kill the great Grizzly 399.
We did.
You see, Grizzly 399 was not just a bear. She is a symbol of a truly wild animal trying to hang on in a changing world, a world that is all about “me me, I, I” and very little of “why?” or “what can I do to help?”.
This is a world where if the stores start to fade or look a little old, we build the *exact same* stores two miles down the road. And a couple years later, we do it again. And again. Until that’s all there is.
It never stops. Our need to consume, to stuff our pockets. To turn prairie meadows into U-store it facilities. To pave over everything that is true and wild. To pave over what is real.
Grizzly 399 deserved better.
The single best way you and I can honor her amazing legacy is to look at what happened to Grand Teton. And not repeat it elsewhere. We can honor her legacy by protecting our national parks by not bringing sprawl to their doorsteps. We can honor her legacy by pulling back on our obsessive need to develop everything and finally show some tact and humility , *the same way she did when dealing with us*.
You see, Grizzly 399 was so much more than a bear.
She is a lesson. And she is teaching us all, still. Always had been teaching us. Because that’s just what a great mother does."
Best,
- Michael

Aurora, Colorado's fast-growing community known as Painted Prairie, draws attention at the national level after recently bagging the National Community of the Year title during the N.A.H.B. awards of 2022.

Attributes of Exquisite Homes
Perhaps the most conspicuous attribute of Painted Prairie Homes for Sale is its master planning, which has been pissed by some of the best brains in urban planning.
Peter Calthorpe, an urban planner, designed the community's architectural elements with the assistance of Mark Johnson of Civitas Denver.
Taken together, they delivered a neighborhood in Aurora that is not only geographically harmonious with the land on which it was built but also urbanistically novel and innovative, using best practices that promote social interaction, sustainable living, and practicality.
Painted Prairie's design integrates living, working, and play zones, seeking to allow people to live, work, and have fun all within the area. It encompasses parks, greens, and a Town Center, which reflects the spirit of the community with its focus on contemporary Colorado.
Stunning Views and Natural Beauty
What almost everyone in Painted Prairie loves about Painted Prairie is that the community is within a beautiful natural environment.
Found at the foothills of the Front Range of the Rocky Mountains, many residents of this state are blessed with gorgeous sunrises and sunsets with beautiful colors in the sky.
They create that serenity and pristine environment that sums up the concept of life in Colorado.
This community has been highly commended for its ample parking facilities, where people can access recreation space, green areas, or places to be in nature and develop relations with people around them.
The parks are just a bonus haven within your compound, perfect for walking, jogging, and resting.
The Town Center
Apart from providing residential units, Painted Prairie has a much bigger vision. A proposed development for the Town Center is to extend it to 55 acres to give the residents myriad utilities. Upon execution, the Town Center will highlight:
Health and Wellness Facilities: The fitness clubs and all-inclusive healthcare buildings in the heart of the town will eventually cater to all your health and fitness needs.
Local and Global Dining: Tenants can shop for foods of their preferred tastes, including local dishes and intercontinental foods.
Farmers Market: The neighborhood will have a varied farmers market, including freshly ready foods and locally made yields, to support the tenants' interaction with farmers and sellers of various products.
Collaborative Workspaces: An instance is people working from home or owning their businesses, who will find the collaborative working space in the Town Center comfy and convenient.
Boutique Hotels: For sightseeing, guests can catch a glimpse of this Painted Prairie through its excellent line of boutique hotels, each with a motif of the locality.
To achieve this, amenities are provided to help ensure residents feel connected. Therefore, Painted Prairie is a community founded on relationships within spaces, experiences, and facilities.

Legend of Zelda Theme Park - Death Mountain
Tumblr media
Death Mountain is to the north of Castle Town (just as it is usually in the north on the game map). The whole area is sculpted as a reddish-brown canyon landscape, with walkways gently sloping upward toward the artificial volcano which dominates the scene, "erupting" every half hour with a display of pyrotechnics and smoke effects. The volcano in turn is the upper portion of a massive show building which occupies roughly half the area's footprint and houses several of its attractions. Interior spaces are designed as rocky caves lit by torches and glowing crystals.
Goro-Gondolas: Not an intense ride, but still exciting on its own terms, the Goro-Gondolas are boats in a flume...but the water is continuously under-lit with warm-toned lights, giving it the appearance of a glowing lava river!
Gut Check Challenge Arena: A play area, but more...advanced than the Picori Picnic Park in the Lost Woods.
Dodongo Dive-Bomb: The number just marks the queue entrance--this ride is a big one!
For those with fancier tastes, there's even a special sales counter where precious jewelry is available for purchase.
