I headcanon that Kipps has photography as a hobby.

I also headcanon that Lockwood stole his camera from time to time for a "very serious mission, life or death situation"

One thing I loved about Lockwood and Co. is just. The girls are pro brute force and the guys are all about proper technique. (Not all girls and not all guys but like, yeah).

Like it's Lockwood and Kipps that are finicky about proper stances and rapier technique (and iirc they both fenced (and Flo kicked their butts cause she's a legend)) and then there's Lucy and Kat who are just like "Look at that conveniently placed heavy object. Imma hit someone with that."

And it's great to me because I feel like in most works of fiction girls have to have exceptional technique and training to be on par with guys in fights, and then Stroud just flips the script. It's great. As a girl I appreciate other brute force girls.

One thing I really love about George in the books is how much of a guard dog he is about Lockwood when it matters. When Lucy's on the landing considering the "forbidden room" her first day in the house and George finds her, he immediately tells her that it's forbidden, and that no, he himself doesn't know what's in there, but it's Lockwood's and shouldn't be messed with because Lockwood doesn't want it to be.

And then later on when they have that run-in with Kipps and his gang at the library, and Kipps makes that shallow (and like . . . horribly hurtful) jibe at Lockwood about how everyone who's close to him comes to a bad end and has since Lockwood was little, George immediately steps in and ends Kipps' whole career being like "Hey remember the names and faces of every kid who's died under your watch since you have the highest mortality rate of any team leader at Fittes?"

Like . . . George does not mess about at all when it comes to Lockwood.

I know some fans were hoping for a quill kipps closer to book canon, but I for one really appreciate jack bandeira’s ability to go from James Bond to Pathetic Loser Boy.

Do you randomly cry over the fact that Quill Kipps went from wanting to stab Lockwood to taking a stab for Lockwood and how that is the best character development you have and will ever see, but still people forget about him and his amazing jokes? .....Or are you normal?

A social media AU where Lockwood keeps pressuring Lucy and George into doing various trends to help with business social media engagement and they keep derailing them but because it gets so many views Lockwood just lets it happen. They do one of the 'Hear me out cakes' and Lockwood puts in genuine people whereas Lucy and George just add pictures of Kipps and pretend like it's a completely new suggestion each time.
