Do you have any headcanons about either of Kira's biggest fans, Misa and Mikami?

To be completely honest with you, I only originally came up with headcanons for Light, Near, Ryuk, Mello, and Beyond—BUT so far I've been good at coming up with shit on the fly so HERE WE GO! :D

✂️ -Misa and her parents were on vacation in France when her parents were killed, but because of them being tourists and Misa not speaking French very well, her witness testimony was heavily compromised. That's why the man who killed her parents was almost let go before Kira killed him. BUT, given that Misa was stuck in a different country with no parents, no translator, and no idea how to access her parents money, she couldn't get back to Japan afterwards, so she was stuck in France. That's where she was supposed to die—attacked by some random stalker in a foreign country—before Gelus saved her.

✂️ -Connected to the one above: Misa dyed her hair blonde because, while in France, someone approached her about becoming a model for their brand, and Misa, low on money at that point, said yes. This introduced Misa to the modelling industry, and she quickly discovers how fucking cutthroat it is. She finishes the first job but has the second snatched from her by an uppity French girl. Blonde hair and blue eyes are all the rage nowadays, you know? And sex is what sells, not generic prudish goth bitches, doesn't she know? Misa takes that to heart, dyes her hair, takes a pair of scissors to her wardrobe and comes back on scene looking like sex and death on legs. Needless to say, she steals her gig back fairly quickly. AND proceeds to rub it in that French bitch's face :) Fuck you Yves.

✂️ -After a guy dies right in front of her, Misa dives deeper into the occult. She already had a taste for witchy aesthetics, but she kept it to a minimum for her parent's sake. But when Kira comes to light and people start dying all around Misa, she decides that now is very much a time to buy all those voodoo and spell books that she always made herself walk past. She starts looking into Kira and trying to find him through tracking spells, but that doesn't work because she doesn't have anything concrete. She curses several of her modelling rivals just for fun, but she doesn't get into anything really nasty becauuuuse Rem shows up :3 With a murder notebook :3 And so Misa abruptly loses all interest in regular magic.

✂️ -Misa is bisexual, but she is so fucking repressed about it man, it's insane. She keeps telling herself that the burning feeling in her gut she feels every time she gets a glimpse of a fellow model's naked shoulder, her long neck, the curves of her legs, is rage. Obviously. This is begrudging jealousy brewing in her chest, maybe even hatred or competitiveness, definitely not attraction. Even though it may feel similar to the attraction she has for pretty men, it's totally not the same thing. Totally not. (Imagine the 'Starting Fights Because The Guy Girl is Hot And I Want Her On Me' meme and picture Misa starting shit with her fellow models).

✂️ -Misa is your stereotypical yandere. She and Light are similar in the way that they both are used to everyone falling in love with them, wanting to be with them, even trying to force themselves upon them, but neither of them are very used to rejection. But where Light has been taught by his father to take rejection (not humiliation, there's a difference) with grace, Misa has quite literally never been rejected before. You cannot reject her. She has learned to fight viciously for what she wants, and she can and will do anything to get whatever and/or whoever she decides that she wants. If that means killing someone, then she's laying out a tarp and selecting her sharpest knife. If that means locking you in her basement, she's putting tranqs in your tea and tying you up. Light's manipulation and lies are the only thing keeping him from being chained to the radiator in Misa's apartment. Though, being kidnapped by Misa and having her handfeed you in an alluring maid dress to try and Stockholm you into loving her doesn't sound so bad to me 👀 (Yes I'm a simp for hot villains leave me alone).

⚖️ -Mikami is canonically incredibly smart, but I picture him as less intrinsically smart and more as someone who worked extremely hard to get where they are. Mikami has very rigid societal views, and he's had them from a very young age, so it makes sense for him to have practically planned out his whole life in the way that he's always known exactly what he wanted to do. He was a very studious student, more so even than Light, because even Light made it a point to be social. Mikami's smarts are hard earned, but still incredibly impressive.

⚖️ -Mikami is known for going to the gym routinely and being strong (being jacked in a profession where you don't need to be jacked) but what you DON'T know is that Mikami took up body building so he could beat the absolute fuck out of people. In Mikami's backstory, we see him defend people from bullies repeatedly, even to the point where his other classmates abandoned him. I imagine getting beat up all the time doesn't feel good, so once Mikami realized that no one was gonna side with him anymore, he took up a rigorous exercise routine in his late teens. He even enrolled himself in a martial arts class to learn how to fight. Mikami got into ONE (1) more fight after that, and he fucked the other guy up so bad that no one else even wanted to get near him. If you're bullying someone in the hallway and Mikami Teru rolls up, you fucking sprint the other away.

⚖️ -After his mother died, Mikami was moved in with an estranged Uncle. The Uncle was fairly neglectful but Mikami enjoyed the freedom—it was certainly a better alternative to his mother always scolding him and punishing him for coming home with bruises and scrapes. Mikami was basically taking care of himself at fifteen and he liked it that way. He moved out at eighteen, and when his Uncle was arrested for drunk driving and tax evasion two years later, Mikami was the prosecutor that put him in prison. Not because he resented him, but because he was just another filthy criminal on trial.

⚖️ -Due to all the time he spends studying and living for the Grind™ (Jesus Christ someone knock this man out and take him on vacation) Mikami is a coffee fiend. He is feral for it. He has to brew his own coffee at home because the one time he got to the office and the coffee pot was empty he broke it. Maybe by accident, maybe on purpose; he doesn't really remember because the pre-coffee fog is fucking REAL. Mikami will fist fight you over coffee. But usually he doesn't have to because if someone gets to the pot before him he can just,,,,pick them up and move them (very gently) out of the way. However, every six months he has this whole health crisis where he goes on a coffee detox and becomes a tea drinker instead—like a werewolf but for tea. Teawolf 🍵—and he feels really good for a while... BUT then he eventually has to take another all nighter and the coffee demon Reawakens™.

⚖️ -Mikami has mild sociopathy. And I don't mean in the "Oh my God he's insane run!!!" type of way—I literally mean the actual disorder. Mikami has lowered emotional responses and empathy. It makes it really hard for him to connect with people, especially if they don't share a common interest, which means that even though Mikami is successful and fit and pretty—he has no friends. He occasionally goes out to bars whenever the loneliness gets to be too much, but he always leaves vaguely unsettled and frustrated because he just can't connect with people properly. He's had a few girlfriends before, but they all dumped him eventually because he puts his work first. (Of course, when you're Mikami's God boss this is the opposite of a problem ♥️). Given Japan's godawful stance on mental health, Mikami's never been diagnosed, and honestly he most likely wouldn't want to be, even to get help with it. It would hurt his reputation too badly.

Detective!Bucky Barnes as a Girl Dad 🧸ྀི‎♡‧₊˚

Okay, so first of all, our precious Teddy was planned 100%. You’re one of the top prosecutors in New York, of course, your life is structured the most it can be and you knew you wanted to start a family with Bucky when the timing was right. Teddy came along after you were married and had moved into an apartment together. By this point, Bucky had moved up the ranks and passed his sergeant’s exam, allowing him more free time to be around and present.

When Teddy was born, best believe Bucky cried—you both did. She was just so cute and so tiny. You both marveled at how the two of you made someone so wonderful and so perfect. She looks like a mini version of you but with Bucky’s eyes and smile.

He honestly couldn’t wait to show her off to everyone. His desk at work is now covered in pictures of you and his baby girl. His lock screen? It’s a picture of you holding Teddy. You know that little pocket in a wallet where an ID should go? Yeah well, he has a polaroid picture of the three of you instead. He has those pictures there to remind him to be extra safe on the job since he now has you two waiting for him to come home safe and sound.

Teddy got her nickname not too long after she was born. She was a bit of a fussy baby and liked to cling to you or Bucky when she slept. With your careers, it wasn’t always possible to have Teddy with either of you 24/7. And then one day the teddy bear Bucky won you at the fair from your first date ended up in her crib. Teddy ended up keeping it close and hugging it the entire time she slept. Even as she started getting older, that bear went wherever she did. From the moment she fell in love with that bear, you decided everything Teddy owned had to be bear-themed.

All your friends and family love Teddy. Sam and Nat bicker all the time over who Teddy loves the most—Uncle Sam or Auntie Nat. You’d never tell them, but Teddy adores her Uncle Stevie the most. Whenever he visits, she won’t leave his arms which makes Bucky a little grumpy (which you always tease him over).

Bucky has always been protective of you (maybe sometimes a little overprotective) and that doesn’t change when Teddy comes along. If anything, he becomes even more protective of his girls—this man is a devoted husband and father. Dotting on you and Teddy whenever he gets the chance. Acts of service is 100% one of Bucky’s love languages and he’d do anything for you and Teddy. 

When the topic of daycare comes up, Bucky doesn’t want to hear it. He just can’t imagine anyone taking care of his baby girl better than you and him. No one else would take the time to cut Teddy’s food into the cutest of shapes—her favorite being stars, no one else would pick her up and play airplane with her when she gets fussy, no one else would sing twinkle twinkle little star with her for the millionth time just to see her happy, and there’s so much more others wouldn’t do for her that you and Bucky would. 

Daycare lasted a couple of days—Bucky just couldn’t do it. He was losing his mind wondering how she was doing. On the first drop off that man was damn near begging on his knees for you to change your mind. You were firm on your stance (neither of you could afford cutting back even more on work hours since you were saving up for a home). So as much as you hated being the one to do it, you had to be the one to put your foot down on the subject. That was until on what would be her last day at daycare, Teddy cried out Mommy with the utmost heartbroken voice as you were walking away and your heart just shattered. Needless to say, the daycare phase didn’t last long and instead you took the longer commute to drop off Teddy at Grandma Barnes’ brownstone. Bucky’s mom was over the moon at this decision because that woman adores her grandbaby. She spoils her rotten which sometimes backfires in the silliest of ways.

Being one of the top prosecutors in New York means you have many late nights. Bucky is always there to be supportive in any way he can be. Before Teddy, you used to work on cases together at home, but ever since she was born he has enforced a no work-at-home policy. He doesn’t want his baby girl hearing or witnessing anything from the homicide cases you and he work on. He wants to protect her from that world for as long as he can. 

Especially since he has worked on some cases that show him the worst of humanity. Now that he is a dad they hit him a little deeper. Whenever he works a case where a parent has lost their child, his chest feels tight the entire day and there’s a heaviness on his shoulders he can’t shake off. On those days he insists you two visit Teddy during your lunch break. And that night he holds Teddy just a little longer and a little tighter in his arms—like he’ll lose her if he lets go. After she falls asleep in his arms, he tucks her in her crib and goes looking for you. No matter what you’re doing Bucky coaxes you to drop everything and come to bed with him where he holds you just as tightly as you lay together. He promises over and over again that he’ll keep you and Teddy safe, whispered promises of how much he loves you both and how no harm will ever come to either of you between passionate kisses that seal the meaning of those promises into your very soul.

Bucky adores being a dad just as much as he adores being your husband. His life feels complete having you two in it and he'd be damned if he ever let anything or anyone ever jeopardize it (which in this line of work there have been a few close calls on both your ends that have tried, but those stories are for another day).

I honestly could go on and on all day over this, but for the sake of not going on for too long, I will end my little happy ramblings here 🥹🩷 Thank you again for sending in this request, I had so much fun with it!! 🩷🩷

Today was Gojo's day off, and what better way to start it than waking up at four pm?

He was a busy guy - despite only being in high school - he's already taken on many jobs, it was only right he could get sixteen hours of sleep.

When he arrived at your shared dorm at twelve in the morning, you were already asleep, so when he got out of his room and laid his eyes on you wearing his t-shirt, he couldn't help but gasp.

"Oh, hey Satoru." You spoke, sparing him a quick glance before going back to cooking. His mouth was still wide open; he couldn't respond—he tried, but he couldn't. No sound could leave him. Who knew all it took for the strongest to be left speechless was the sight of you in his shirt?

You look back at him, seeing how his jaw was still on the floor, you realize it was probably because of what you were wearing right now.

"Oh! This? Sorry," you chuckle, "none of my clothes have been washed yet—call me gross, whatever—so I decided to steal from your wardrobe. Hope you don't mind." You stuck your tongue out before placing the eggs on a plate.

You moved to put the plate on the dining table, giving him a better view of you in his shirt. It fit him so perfectly, so seeing it so big on you absolutely made his heart melt.

There was a light tint of pink on your friend's cheeks now; you were so cute he felt like he was going to pass out.

"Are you okay with just eggs? There's more stuff but I wanna save them for next time—oh, actually, you might not be here tomorrow…" You mumbled the last part, choosing to ignore how he still hasn't responded to any of your sentences.

Gojo tried to get a word out, but all he could manage was a strange, strangled noise, which you respond to with a confused hum. No matter how much he tried, he couldn't organize any of his thoughts. He was screaming over and over in his head, but there was a thought slightly bigger than the rest (the rest which consisted of AAAA's, OH MY GOD's, and WHAT THE FUCK's)—that thought was: "holy fuck you're so adorable," which was also exactly what he just blurted out.

Now it was your turn to be flustered, "I—what?"

Gojo's eyes widen before he covers his face with his hands, his face now fully red. "Ignore what I just said," his voice was muffled, but you could still hear what he said.

You never thought you'd see the Gojo Satoru blushing so deeply with his face in his hands, but here he is. You laugh, "can you repeat that?" You were teasing him, I mean, it's not every day that this happens, but any more teasing and his heart might actually blow up.

"Y/n, shut up—oh my God—I hate you!"

"I thought you said I was adorable? Or do you hate cute things?"

He yells into the palms of his hands.

Although you're being bold right now, him calling you adorable caused your brain to shut down for a good millisecond. Gojo complimented you all the time, but somehow, this felt different.

You walk to where he's standing right now, hands still covering his pretty face. You put your hand on his, and the feeling of your warm and soft hands comfort him.

He could tell you wanted to pull his hands away, and while he didn't want that, he was so weak to your touch.

He had no other option but to give in, so he did. You put his left hand away first, then the right. With his hand still in yours, you softly spoke, "if that's the case, then you must really hate yourself."

Oh, he was so in love with you.

but yes ive been getting them done for years but i recently started doing my own! i sugar my whole body. kewchie and butthole included! i use this sugar off amazon i love it cause its no heat required. it will warm in your hands. but make sure if you're a coarse hair girlie you get the hard wax. its $40 for the tub i bought it in sept and im only half way through. You will need a butter knife to digg it out though. its a bit pricey probably around $120-150 to get everything you need to wax at home (or everything i need cause im in grown prone).

but you buy it once and it will last for months when getting a brazilian at a salon can be like $90 and you get that every 6 weeks thats so much money!

here are the other stuff you need (these are all the products i use most is to combat razor burn/folliculitis):

wax strips - technically you can sugar yourself JUST with the sugar but its gonna take you a minute to get used to dealing with it. ive been doing it for 4 months and im just getting comfy not using any wax strips at all.

pre/post solution - prep is important because it makes it so you grab the hair and not the skin.

aloe - skin calming and well help with any reddness/irritation

razor bump gel - get this if you tend to get mild razor burn

bha 2% - get this for mild-moderate razor burn

acne spot cream - this is if you happen to get folliculitis or super bad razor burn. I usually get a couple of these everytime and they look so gross the first time you get one you may panic and think its an std lol. its super cheap so id pick some up just in case as if you are new to self-waxing you will probably damage some hair follicles which will cause this. this is a SPOT treatment do not put it on anywhere else it will dry you tf out. honestly this is my go to, i even put this on the mild stuff cause you never know if its gonna turn ito something bigger.

wax powder- essentially baby powder but this one has vitamin e and aloe in it and is talc free. you can never be using too much powder. powder is what also helps the sugar stick to hairs only.

salicylic acid cream - im prone to chicken skin so i always use this, building up a habit of using SA cream will keep your pores clear and less likely to even get razor burn.

body wash exfoliator - this is the best stuff ive ever used tbh. pricey but a lil goes a LONG way. (use day before wax and day after its too abrasive for same day showers).

latex gloves, optional, i bought them and you can but once you get used to handling wax i feel like you wont need them. also i have long ass nails so i kept breaking them fhdfvkjsdhbfhjkv. if you keep your hands cool and put powder on them it should stick that badly.

body hydraulic acid - OPTIONAL but my skin is baby butt smooth using this shit.

tri fold mirror - OPTIONAL but highly reccomended as im usually sitting on a towel on my bathroom floor with my legs in the air and its helpful to have inorder to see what you are doing.

honestly im saving though to buy an IPL laser from alibaba. i found a dealer who sells the same lasers they be selling to salons, but its like $1.5k with shippig lol. but laser hair removal packages can be super expensive and you need like 20 so you'd save money doing it yourself too lol. but for now im waxing.

I would look up waxing vids to see how to do it. but some tips i have are:

you can never use too much powder, powder is what helps you grip hair not skin

trim down your hair (coochie) if its too bushy, not super duper short but long hairs will mat in the waxand be harder to grip the root.

if you are doing a dense patch of hair stair from the outer edges and work your way in.

ideally you want to be a lil cold so dont turn on the heat or heat lamp in the bathroom, don't do this after a shower or a work out or if you've just been outside and its really hot. your skin needs to be room temp or colder or wax will melt too fast.

if you end up fucking up and gettng wax stuck in a large area thats where the wax strips come in handy. try to spread it out as much as you can. then starting at the edges grab bits where its over the root and wax that, bit by bit. if its too much for you can always just wash it off, its sugar so it washes off. but wash with cold water and you will have to dry your skin and do the prep all over again or try again later so the best bet is to have wax strips handy.

if you are a straight/thin haired girlie you can do softer wax, and try sugardoh kits. i used it before i bought the harder wax (just use baby powder or even baking powder works lol). it comes with alot of stuff already and is a good intro kit. however i did not think the wax was firm enough for my thick/curly hair and melted far too easily for my liking. but its a good intro kit and comes with a lot of tips.

if you have a stray hair that wont come out thats when you get out the tweezers, after 3 passes please don't wax that area anymore you could damager your skin.

note if waxing still isn't your thing, then this is my fav epilator cream. i have really sensitive skin and unlike nair it doesn't burn or cause irritation. however course hair girlies i would recco you glob it on and keep on your skin for around 15-20 min. it says 5-10 but I need longer tbh with my thicker hair. I haven't had any problems with skin irritation but I would suggest starting with 5-10 first.

i apologise if i come off as rude and i know it’s not black fans’ responsibility to educate white fans. but as a white fan, what do you think white fans can do to fight racism in fandom spaces? because even when i stumble upon something that reads to me as racist, i don’t know if it’s my wrong interpretation as a white person and if i should say something or be quiet. /gen

(the post was about BLACK PEOPLE. So I'm going to discuss antiblackness, bc that's who I was talking to)

1. Actually share community with Black people!

Half the reason people "don't see" antiblackness when it's happening is because you're not around any Black people in your fandoms to begin with. So when you see what is inevitably racism, you probably dismiss it as "drama" because that's what the racists (!) around you are framing it as. If you actually saw the responses from the party being wronged, you'd learn what to look out for when it happened. And even if you weren't confident, someone that IS confident could use the support- bc they're gonna be far meaner to that Black fan than they'll ever be to you! But ofc you don't see racism when there are conveniently no Black people around you to point it out. Bc trust, there is no fandom space- no space period- free of it. So... Try listening to the Black people that ARE in your spaces! Support their voices, so that you can start fighting that fight on your own!

2. Think about how much antiblackness you let slide, and try to be active about not doing so!

One of the hardest things for me to swallow is not usually the OG racist poster, but the thousands of people who usually agree with them, and then the tens of thousands of others who might not agree, but continue to support that person otherwise because antiblackness is not a deal breaker for them! You might think you're a friend to Black people, but based off the people you hang around... probably not! And we see that!

So you'll watch someone be mask-off antiblack, but "oh their art is so good though" or "but I love their LGBTQ/fandom takes" yeah okay so I see that I am not a part of the safe community that you value or picture, got it.

You have to actually ask yourself, consistently- because antiracism is an active thing, it's decisions you make- "is this thing I'm participating in worth the antiblackness I'm allowing?" Sometimes you're gonna say yes. But if you find yourself saying "yes" far more often than you're saying "no", it's time to admit that you're not being antiracist 😅 and if that identity actually means anything to you, you'll have to start making some better choices!

So, is this person's cool art worth them being a whitewasher? Is this video game series worth the creators being racist? Is this musical worth the racist stereotypes it's perpetuating? Is this person's otherwise cool politics worth them treating Black people like shit? Is being seen as a racist worth keeping me safe in this fandom (that would treat me horribly if I didn't? Are they really my community, then?)? Is my temporary entertainment worth more than someone's humanity?

I think when we choose to be honest with ourselves, and are willing to ask ourselves questions like that, we might recognize just how much control we have over our own racism, and at least how we can minimize our own harm. Bc you can only control you! And you don't have to do or allow the things you allow!

3. Call it out!

I don't think everything warrants a call out. But, sometimes y'all got to be willing to say "hey, this isn't cool, dude". The whole "1 Nazi, 9 patrons, 10 Nazis" thing. I have a post about it somewhere on the CBC page 😭 But yeah. Sometimes things will be right in y'alls faces and you say nothing. And all that does is encourage others with those same beliefs to show up and think that you're okay with them. I really do wish that when you were confident, you spoke up. Or at least told your peers in private "hey, such and such did this antiblack thing and it made me uncomfortable so I'm not going to support them anymore". SOMETHING.

A few months back, I asked if it was okay to write using Clora and Seb. Finished the work - thought I'd lost it on my hard drive and a virus scan located it.

Not sure if it's sad or happy, but the basic premise of it is Clora getting frustrated/upset at Sebastian and Sebastian comforting her, Sebastian getting upset at a predicament Clora's in and Clora comforting him, and them both getting frustrated/upset and having to comfort each other.

brainstorming is defs my fav part of the process and the most helpful part to me. just getting a blank document and writing stuff you want to happen without worrying about how it connects to the story, and then a lot of the times as i was doing that id just keep going and it would kinda tie itself together/id come up with a solution as i was writing / once the ideas kept flowing. so basically : TIMELINES AND OUTLINES I VERY MUCH RECOMMEND, but very low pressure and barebones ones. for example, this is what my outlines/brainstorming look like

its honestly just me talking to myself LMAO, and a lot of the time ill interject and be like "OH YEAH AND THEN THIS CAN HAPPEN" as the ideas come while im writing BAHAHA. its a super fun process and honestly nothing feels better than just getting hit with that flash of inspo, and since its all very low effort theres no pressure to actually write well and its just a chill fun time AND GOOD LUCK WITH YOUR OWN PROCESS / WRITING💖💖💖it can be difficult but HOPE U HAVE FUN TOO💖💖

Since you're Mingi oriented and I'm just getting started on Mingi, here are some blurted thoughts.

Mingi's sound: Mingi's general rap style is what's described as 호통, which yelling at a high volume with the intention of telling someone off. I don't generally enjoy this sound. However, I've realized that though he sounds initially like he's hollering, his voice is actually much more expressive and plaintive than that. Part of this comes from me just not knowing how to 'hear' rap. Music may be innate to the human soul, but I know from experience that in order to get the most out of a specific art form, you actually need to learn what to pay attention to. The more I listen for what Mingi may be trying to do within the 'worlds' created by Eden-ary's songs, the more I think he might be the sonic and rap equivalent of Seonghwa when he does his narration-through-mime creations in his silent dance sequences.

The "role" that Mingi plays in a lot of the songs is to be like, the subconscious to HongJoong's id, to express the emotional, heart-centered reaction to HongJoong's analytical, in-his-head perceptions and conclusions, and be the private no-holds-barred self that bursts through when enough is enough. And the other thing I'm thinking now, after more open minded and detailed observation, is that he's not actually shouting much of the time. He's just really big, and his voice is big. When he's actually shouting, you can tell that he's really shouting, but he isn't always shouting, you know? He just uhhh has a lot of testosterone, is all.

Mingi's dance: Ateez members have talked about how when Wooyoung first joined (and he joined last) Mingi found him very threatening, as a dancer. They had 'similar' styles, allegedly, that observers at the time all agreed on. I found this very strange because since I only found them in the Ice On My Teeth era, I just hadn't seen any similarity at all between Mingi and Wooyoung. I actually had wondered at how little the members seemed to have in common. At first glance, Mingi should not be in the same group, sonically nor visually, as Jongho, and what Yunho does just doesn't seem to go with how Wooyoung runs his on stage persona and they also don't look like they should be standing next to each other, and so on. If I had to find similiarity between Wooyoung and Mingi's way of moving, it would've been that they're both very macho, very masculine, and are not doing the balletic and modern dance coloring that Seonghwa and especially San put on everything.

BUT THEN the whole, uh, Mingi in tight suit pants happened and I had an awakening like, HOLY SHIT HE DANCES REALLY SENSUALLY WHEN HE WANTS TO. And he's fast, like Wooyoung. And he is light and allegro and a jumper, like Wooyoung. He moves in boxes and lines, like Wooyoung, rather than in circles and curves like San and Yunho. (I hope I don't sound insane). And Mingi being this way as a dancer is arresting because he's physically very big, and generally big dancers are not light nor allegro.

-Everyone in the manor would notice that his attitude changes when he's alone with you.

-He is going to absolutely always have his eyes on you when you're near. It's his love language.

-Naib's life has been forever stained by his early years in poverty and fighting during war, after so many hardships he would definitely try his best to make his loved one feel safe. He couldn't stand losing someone close once again. Showing you that you can feel protected near him means the same as saying "i love you".

-Naib is a mature person but you may sometimes hear flirtatious compliments from him.

-He sometimes questions himself why do you love him. While he doesn't necessarily understand he doesn't need any answers - he will cherish the moment as long as it lasts, making sure you know he is devoted to you.

-Naib may be a little insecure, but he'd like you to think he actually isn't. Whenever you'd praise him he would answer "I know".

-He's not afraid of showing you affection in public. And while he's not going to make a big show out of it, he would simply kiss your palms and hold them. Or hold you by your waist, sending death glares. That's enough for everyone around to understand that you're his and if someone messes with you they better start running.

-If you ever tell him you feel threatened by someone, he will tell you to go to his dorm and take matters into his own hands. You can beg as much as you like, but he will never tell you what he did.

-When someone hurts you, someone attempts to hurt him too.

-A lot of people may consider his ways rather weird, but to him, as someone who was forced to be the head of his household, defending his significant other is something very important.

-While Naib is protective it doesn't mean he believes you are defenseless. He will respect if you want to be individual, he hopes you understand that you are free to do whatever you desire, though if in need, he will instantly be there. If you are scared or anxious, please come to him.

-He may not be the tallest, but he is still strong, he wouldn't mind carrying you if you're tired.

-If you ask him to teach you some self defense moves, he would proudly instruct you.

-He may not always read you properly. But he's not doing it on purpose. Tell him about your mood and he'll do anything in his power to cheer you up.

-His protectivness may lead to some arguments. He is not going to hesitate to scold you for doing something rather dumb.

-He could come out as mean sometimes.

-If you are injured, he is going to take it very seriously. That moment pulls a big trigger. Naib becomes very aggresive.

-He worries. A lot. He is afraid of hurting you because he is aware of his mental struggles. He may even raise his voice at you - but while it seems scary please be understanding. He's never had a lover before and he wants to shield you from danger. He tries to quickly apologize to you.

-He just needs you to be safe.

-Early in your relationship, there may be some misunderstandings. At first glance, Naib may seem closed off. He is not the best with his words.

-As a soldier, he developed an unhealthy habit of keeping every emotion to himself. It will take a lot of time for both of you to open up. You promised to Naib that if anything ever bothers you, you will immediately talk to him. And vice versa.

-He's a man of few words, he may struggle with talking you through it, however he's going to make sure his partner feels comforted and heard.

-Naib struggles with PTSD, therefore he's also in need of comfort and reassurance. He likes when you ground him, by covering him with your body, your face hidden in his chest. -He'd like you to sing him to sleep.

-He is a considerate lover. While he rarely initiates any touches without reason or words of affirmation, Naib shows his love by being with you.

-Speaking of which, he doesn't have a need to take you out for fancy dates. But don't take it wrong. He thinks all you need is spending time together, simply in bed or on a walk in solitude. If you don't feel like talking - that is fine too. You can sit on the grass and watch him train. Those are worth more than the most expensive restaurant. That doesn't mean he will never take you to a more lively place though.

-Naib isn't also keen on huge, extravagant gifts. Roses, necklaces, love letters are his favourite of showering his lover with romance.

-He is a good listener. He remembers several small details about your interests or preferences.

-Extremely supportive. He may not word it directly, but he worships you. Your inside and outside. He would very indescretely check you out when you wear something pretty.

-If you ask nicely, he is going to give you some of his clothing. He feels absolutely proud of the fact that his love wants to wear something that is his AND he could smell them when wearing it later.

-He would keep a photo of you in his pocket, along with a photograph of his mother. He captioned it "My treasure" in his native tongue. He never tells you what it means.

-His favourite photo of you is a picture of you wearing his elbow pads.

-A treasure he worships and is willing to die for. Naib may be very reckless when it comes to your safety. You have to make sure he is well taken care of as well. He enjoys taking baths with you, when you wash his hair and cuddle.

-Although enjoyable, he sometimes may push away your need for physical closeness. He just sometimes needs to be left alone. It's always good to ask if he would like to be touched. Consent is very important for Naib. He doesn't mind it if you are very clingy. In fact, it makes him feel appreciated. He himself though thinks that intimate contact is meant only for special situations.

-One of the few ways into his heart is, of course, through his stomach. He loves waking up to breakfast made by his lover. It doesn't have to be anything fancy. Just the fact that you cared enough to prepare something for him is enough.

-He would love to show you some traditional nepali dishes and guide you while preparing them!

-As cliche as it seems, he'd like it if you'd directly feed him.

i've talked about a lottt of different things i love about palestine, but i can talk a bit more about the old city in nablus if you'd like :)

the old city is where you go if you want to find anything and everything. there are hundreds of shops and vendors and you get to meet so many different people and experience so many different things, it's so cool. over the shops and buildings are decorations and long cloths and banners that are colored in so many different ways, and they provide shade on hot days and sometimes the colors reflect off of the buildings and the ground so everywhere you go you're engulfed in bright and beautiful colors as you walk through the streets.

you can find a lot of different shops there, and they usually have huge portions of their products on display so you can pick and choose personally and serve yourself on what you'd like to buy. people who sell spices or nuts have HUGE bags of them and you get to grab a plastic kilo bag and fill up as much as you'd like. people who sell candy and gummies do the same thing, so you get to choose however much you want to fill up your bag. my family almost never is able to eat gummies where we live because it's not halal, so whenever we're in palestine we fill up kilos upon kilos of gummies in bags so we can take them back home and eat them :)) my uncle says the gummies they sell in palestine aren't halal either but whatever man where is the whimsy 😔😔 let us have this. the last time my dad went, he came back with a kilo bag of gummies after i asked him to bring some when he returned, so for months i kept the bag of gummies and slowly ate them. i finished the bag a while ago but i loveeeee gummies and whenever i find ones i'm allowed to eat, i'm very excited about it. i cannot escape my inner child.

there are many refreshments that you can find too. in the summers lots of vendors sell ice cream and slushies (as most places do, i assume) and different juices, one of them is 'tamar hindi' which is a drink you'll often see around ramadan and eid. there are stores that sell different pickled vegetables in barrels, and they'll even let you take some out directly and eat them so you can taste and choose which ones you prefer. of course there are lots of food places, but ohhhh my god there was one shawarma place in nablus that i went to that had the BEST shawarma i've ever eaten in my life. like by FAR it was one of the most delicious things i've ever eaten in my entire life and i'm not exaggerating. i yearn for a shawarma as good as the one i had in nablus. wallahi it was genuinely mind blowing. yall don't understand how good it was. i cry and sob over it all the time.

you can also find lots of clothes!! from our traditional palestinian abayas to modern t-shirts, you can find tons. a lot of the stuff that is sold in palestinian territories is bootleg, because real brands are hard to find their way in through the occupation. because of that, some of the more "modern" stuff is really low quality. i bought a belt from the old city and only was able to wear it once before it literally crumbled in my hands. it CRUMBLED. for 50 shekel too 😭😭😭 absolute shame. that's why i think it's more reliable to buy the traditional stuff, like tatreez designs, because at least that stuff is actually real.

there are jewlery shops too!! they're full of gorgeous designs and you can often find evil eye jewelry in a lot of places. i absolutely love the evil eye design and i have a lotttt of evil eye jewelry. some muslims disapprove though, but whatever. i just think it looks nice. i like its meaning too. interesting stuff to me.

palestinians use different types of currencies too!! we often use the israeli shekel, but that's slowly becoming out of use 🤷‍♂️ but we also use the jordanian dinar, and we even use american dollars, usd, to buy stuff.

OH LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT THE KNAFEH SHOP !! nablus is famous for knafeh. we're like. THE knafeh city. there's a very VERY famous old white-bearded man who owns the famous knafeh shop of nablus and you can almost always find him every day making knafeh. his place always has a huge amount of people there, watching him as he makes the knafeh right in front of them and then serves it out to everyone. genuinely THE knafeh of all time. him and his knafeh are a very cherished part of our city.

thoughts: speaking of romcom retellings… this one is unfinished, but the chapters there are so much fun. i adore the art that goes along with it. and just how silly, and angsty it can be. the dave and karkat are SPOT ON. and same with all the other characters. i especially enjoy rosemary, and the ones who work at karkats book store :)

thoughts: literally in my top three favorite homestuck fics of all time. this is so much more than just a davekat fic, like it’s a *whole* story. there’s also incredibly prominent rosemary, like they are not just shoved to the back. again it’s so thought out, and incredibly tropey. and all the characters are handled so well. it’s so incredibly fanfiction, but in the way where you can’t stop reading it. it’s popular for a reason, and very much deserves that popularity. i’m currently making my friend buddy read this with me <3

TOP THREE HOMESTUCK FICS AGAIN. this one is SO SILLY, it captures everything about rosemary perfectly. the cringe fail of it all, the rose thinking she’s a therapist but instead just over sharing her family’s issues online. it’s so funny, and well written. and i say this as someone who HATES first person pov in fics. it is done incredibly well. like, this author manages to pull it all off. rose’s blog post are so funny, and it will have you smiling like a fool the whole time. this and doc scratch school, and house of dirk are definitely like fics id want you to read the most out of this list!! :)

synopsis: basically a, “what if” different ending to homestuck. what if, instead of winning, they let their alpha selves win, and they had to stay in paradox space for the time loop? etc

thoughts: i have not finished it, but it’s honestly so well put together. it really gets you feeling bad for characters, like gamzee?? poor little guy etc. the art is amazing, and it really does just feel like a continuation of homestuck!!!

Karkat Goes to a Convention (unfinished?) (mspfa)

synopsis: just like the title says, LOL.

thoughts: i’m not sure if this story is really my jam, that being said, it’s put together WONDERFULLY. like it’s incredibly popular for a reason. you can tell so much work went into it, and just a really big love for homestuck and it’s community. while also being really creative :) (i also haven’t finished this one either, so maybe my thoughts could change!)

House of Dirk by imarriedacherub (unfinished) (visual!)

synopsis: sitcom of dirk and caliborns life as a married couple. and their son/son in law is coming over for dinner. shenanigans ensue

thoughts: OKAY, so i know this is the fic that prompted the ask, lol! which means i’ve already recommended it. but i decided to add it so i could post my thoughts! :D i did not have any feelings towards dirkuu when i first read this, but now whenever i see anything dirkuu i’m like, “omg…the sitcom couple…” ITS JUST SUCH A GOOD FIC. i keep overusing the word incredible in this post, but i will use it again. because this fic really is just *that good*. i made my friend voice act it out with me on call once, and it was very fun LOL. this is my final top 3 in my top three homestuck fics 🕺 again really popular, but popular for a reason. just so much thought went into it, and the execution was perfect.

synopsis: terezi and jade go on a picnic date! :)

thoughts: have i ever thought about shipping terezi, and jade before? admittedly, no. is this fic absolutely adorable?? yes, very much so!!! literally they both deserve the world, and it’s so cute to seem them interact with each other. again just a very very sweet fic :)

homestuck v2 (mspfa) (ongoing!)

synopsis: different new generation kids!! davekat fanchild comes in and messes up timelines.

thoughts: the art is so good!! i’m really looking forward to where the story goes, and i love the designs. davekat having a child named, “mary-su” is hilarious as it is genius. also babe coelho seems so beloved!!!

Describe your writing process from idea to posting/publishing

sleeping. like thats the first step. i sleep a lot and i love it. before i fall asleep, i obvs am in my delulu lala land thinking about either my future husband or my fics and og books. from there i think about the weirdest unrealistic plots and then i keep thinking about them so i can remember them in the morning.

and then i write after im done helping with house chores and my work. i usually post the thing as soon as its done or shcedule it lol

almost all of my most loved fics have been ideas i thought no one would care about enough to read. and then the morning after i posted them, id wake up to people telling me how much they loved the fic and end up with me sobbing because everyones so lovely 🥹

also. people can sometimes be mean. 👏🏻IGNORE👏🏻THEM.👏🏻 ignore them the way you ignore maths when studying.

ive seen so many new talented writers either stop writing or lash back out at these clowns, but you need to understand that replying to these people who are just trying to get a rcton out of you is not worth it. your happiness matters more. put yourself before them and ignore thei comments if it hurts you. that will prick their egos more than you arguing with them.

What is a writing style/technique that others do really well that you'd like to get better at?

I also adore your designs for madosolei and homauri.... homura aurien is perfect. I think solei would probably have the ribbon tied around their ponytail, but I love the half up-half down style you gave them too! Im also not against them wearing a skirt for this au lol

I'm not sure why, but rose ( @rosedeleca ) gives me mami vibes. maybe it's the ribbons mami has together with rose's love for sewing fabric. maybe it's also the more mature and elegant vibe that both mami and rose bring while having an underlying loneliness and wish for company. rose giving solei a gift in an effort to befriend them / mami wanting madoka to become a magical girl perhaps? I might be reaching lol

Also, I find it cute if rose was mami because iirc flor ( @sotogalmo ) already claimed charlotte/bebe and just. rose being as tall as they are while flor is 4"11...

I honestly don't have many headcanons in mind atm, but maybe solei and auri being childhood friends in the og timeline could be a thing? I just find childhood friends solauri to be absolutely adorable

I noticed the sun pendant you added to solei's magical costume, and I wonder if auri would have a matching moon one? madoka and homura's main aesthetics are more along the lines of angel/devil, but it would be nice if the sun/moon aspect of solauri would be evident in their costumes too. I want to draw this so badly 😭

I am LIVING for the househusband shenanigans, it gives me so many ideas (super long ask i'm sorry lol)

but i love the idea of the chain ending up in reader's world, more permanently, and after falling hard for reader to boot, so the period of adjustment for everyone is wild and what the fuck is reader supposed to do with 9 (or more, depending who you ask) lovesick heroes in their house fit for 1-2 people?? not to mention none of them have documentation or decent knowledge of modern culture

i can imagine some of the Links (time, legend, four) jumping at the opportunity to learn more about their darling's world, and their likes and dislikes, in order to better understand them and get closer to them (it's the feeling of wanting to know every possible thing about something they're obsessed with, just completely filling their brain with it)

Some (most) Links are going to be straight up hazards to themselves and their environment with their curiosity and lack of understanding for technology. it doesn't matter what precautions you take something is going to get blown up in the microwave.

wild and sage would probably attempt to cook for you, knowing how stressed you are about the whole thing, only to wildly overestimate how long it takes to cook something with a microwave (all you'd told them was that it heated things up like a cooking pot) and also fail to realize that some things cannot be put in the microwave

an alarm clock or something goes off, and one of them smashes it thinking its a threat (time... old man don't know shit about tech and he's too traumatized)

and good luck getting your clothes back because all of the boys are going to participate in the theft of them at some point. doesn't even matter if it's not something they can wear. they just want it because it's yours and it smells like you and it's like a piece of you-

speaking of clothes, if you start to voice concern for lack of clothing (bc someone keeps taking all of them) they are all jumping at the chance to lend you their own

Legend would leave a spare tunic of his for you, not even giving you the chance to decline when you simply find it folded on your bed. And he'd mend or tailor anything for you that you have complaints with, asking you so (uncharacterisitically) nicely to be with him while he does it, because, he's going through the trouble for you, the least you can do is keep him company, right?

He might even intentionally cause problems with your clothes, if he's desperate enough for attention. But how can you blame him? He knows it's not your fault, but your mind just been all over the place with everything going on and with the time you've been spending with the other he just feels left out.

All he wants is your praise, to hear you tell him thank you, and that he did a good job, and maybe run a hand through his hair, yeah? God, he'd just melt against if you did that. It makes everything beyond worth it, for you to stroke his hair and tell him how you don't know what you'd do without him. His angel, it makes him feel so blissful, so special when you give him your attention like that.

A few of them would eventually get the idea to get a job, prompting the rest to act as well. They can't just let their god(dess) take care of everything, can they? That would be asinine.

It would be difficult, considering they don't have...ID's, or anything of the like, but there are still ways for them to earn money

The housing is certainly an issue for the chain though SOJNCAN with that many people not used to the modern world in such a small place?? They're basically begging for something bad to happen, like a fire or something breaking even worse if reader's house is being rented to them. Documentation and ID's as well? For some of the chain, they could likely get away with it, but it's really a goal for them to get ID asap because if they do they can get out of a lot of legal issues Wind and the "kids" (Wild and Cal) are the first of the rest to get ID for the sake of school. And there'd likely be a written language barrier as well! If reader wanted to buy some other place to live they better start saving, who knows maybe they could just trade in a few rupees at a time and have a new place in a matter of days?

As for the ones you've mentioned wanting to learn everything possible, it'd get to a point where they're sitting with bloodshot eyes in front of either readers laptop they've borrowed or something they managed to buy steal for themselves having gone down a cursed Wikipedia rabbit hole, Maybe even watching through some playthroughs of their own games? Or if reader was still studying, like at uni or something, suddenly they know more than even the experts in that field.

ALL of the links at some point get dangerously close to breaking something, it's more a matter of if one of the more experienced cough Sage cough or reader steps in time to stop them. I absolutely adore all the different things you've suggested though, the microwave and the alarm clock??? Time's still got trauma to do with clocks and alarms and it's so perfect✨✨

The chain stealing readers clothes is also just 🥹, it's the easier option than even washing their own clothes with their laundry not because readers worn these in the past, no never. May I raise the idea to them stealing things they can't wear to putting the clothes that don't fit for whatever reason onto pillows?? so they can hold a part of their beloved when they sleep.

Legend with fixing their clothes as well as lending them his own I'm sobbing 😭😭😭, since ofc he's one of the more sensible ones he gets left alone far more often so he's so much more desperate for their attention even though he only gets less because they trust him more alone. So for him to get those small moments of praise, even though they're so small because it's only a matter of seconds till readers torn away again by someone else shouting for their help 😭

I think I've mentioned them getting jobs if they were dumped irl, seeing as there are a few they could do without ID you couldn't pry influencer!wars out of my cold dead hands. The moment of realisation they've been using their darling would be such a moment of guilt before they follow legend's/sage's leads and start working or helping reader around the house, those links at school would be getting the top grades in their classes seeing as that's what reader wants them to focus on.

Troy. Had so much fucking potential that it hurt. His fight was considerably more interesting (and fun!) than Tyreen's. If they fleshed out the main plot of BL3 more, I truly think that he and his sister would've been made better for it. But they didn't, so I decided that I could just do it myself if I really wanted to.

So I did! I actually have this weird ass AU that I made, where I developed some BL characters more and changed the dynamic of the world. It was a thing. I've got 155 pages of fanfiction written it was a THING.

Anyway that's not the point-

Basically: Troy could be someone who has so much more incentive to be powerful, to be a character who takes center stage eventually because he is TIRED of being put on the backburner. He is quoted to be at least somewhat intelligent. He's cunning. Smart in a way. He's not the "strong" twin so he had to be, right? He had to do something. To stay relevant. And when he got powers from Maya... well, he had his chance to be relevant. He's the type to learn more, to experiment and try things out. He showed it through the things we got to view of him through the plot. For his own sake. Because he needs to improve, to be better, to show the world that he CAN stand alone. To show that he doesn't need to be a "parasite" anymore. And they DIDN'T LET HIM HAVE THAT-

So I'm gonna let him have it. As a treat. I'm gonna let him have his powers he stole and make his own path beside his sister, and maybe we'll address how he feels about himself because of his life up to that point-
