Hello! So long time reader first time asker, I've had this stuck in my head and it's extremely au plus just completely self indulgent

So Stiles and Derek are utterly obsessed with each other but both think the other is normal and are trying to hide it

Derek followed stiles for months before starting to court him, could listen to him talk for hours, utterly besotted with stiles kitten energy and unsettling swag

Stiles, meanwhile, knows almost everything about Derek and has been digitally stalking him since he moved back to beacon hills, he's infatuated with Derek's complete lack of ability to imitate human behavior and his adorable smile

Basically I keep picturing this scene when I daydream; Derek and stiles both trying to act normal while both are absolute creatures, Derek is forcing himself to deal with the Argents carefully instead of tearing them apart while stiles is watching from the sidelines digging his fingernails into the palms of his hands until they bleed, eventually ending with a conversation of stiles confronting derek but instead of Derek's insecurity about stiles being afraid of him coming true stiles lays it down flat

"I understand the logical reasons for dealing with the Argents peacefully, but they need to stop hurting you or I'm going to do something drastic"

I feel like if Stiles found out about Derek, he would not shut up or keep it to himself. That boy is a monsterfucker (especially if he's also a creature), so if his bf turned out to match his freak, he would shout from he roofs about how lucky he is lmao

But the concept is funny lol I imagine it like
