Have you been tested for h. Pylori? My sister was having stomach issues for MONTHS before anyone thought to give her triple therapy for it -- the only reason I'm mentioning it is bc it's a relatively easy treatment which might give you a solution earlier than trying to get an appointment with a nutritionist
I haven't been tested for it, no. However, my symptoms tend to be located south of the stomach and don't seem to mesh much with an H. pylori infection. In addition, my GI seems to be on top of things, given that all the tests she ordered except one came back with abnormal results, and she hasn't mentioned H. pylori as a concern.
My issues do seem to be at least partially diet-related. Despite my odd reaction to the low-fructose diet, I do have fructose malabsorption. I also have gluten intolerance and an occasional sensitivity to high-fat meals. I wouldn't be surprised if there's something else sneakily hidden, and even if there isn't, it's enough to merit meeting with someone who can help me make sure I get all my nutrients. Whether my insurance approves it or not (fingers crossed they do - I'm making the call tomorrow), I'll be seeing a nutritionist. As for the wait, well, I've had to push medical things back a lot lately due to illness and a course of antibiotics that would have influenced a particular test. So I'm fine with a wait as long as I know there's an end point somewhere.
That being said, I believe my father may have had H. pylori in the past; I know he's had issues with ulcers at least. So I think when I next meet with my GI, I'll mention my dad's issues, because I don't remember if I told her about it during my first appointment with her.

WE ARE A PART OF HISTORY
“We are a part of history.” Words shouted by John Earl Sullivan from inside the Capitol January 6. Sullivan the 26 year old black founder of Insurgence USA. A social justice group set up to protest police authority in the wake of George Floyd’s death.
Sullivan first helped others scale the outside wall to the second floor. Exclaiming as he did, “Let’s burn this shit down.”
Then inside, “That’s what I’m sayin’, break that shit.”
Finally, “We accomplished this shit. We did this together. Fuck, yeah! We are all a part of history.”
Another who “gained” fame is John Francis Stager from Arkansas. His picture all over the media. The insurgent who was running around carrying a large American flag who beat a Metropolitan police officer with the flagpole. The officer was guarding the entrance to the Capitol.
The mob stormed the building, grabbed the officer, dragged him down a flight of stairs, and  forced him into a “prone position.” He “remained prone on the steps” as Stager and friends “forcibly and repeatedly” beat him on his head and body with “various objects.”
Stager shouting during the beating: “Everybody in there is a treasonous traitor. Death is the only remedy for what’s in that building.”
Then there is Alabama’s Joshua Blod. He said, “The spirit of God wanted him to storm the Senate.” Also the following confluted statement” “Plead the blood of Jesus over it.”
Blod claimed, “They stole my country.” He said afterwards, The crowd went crazy when they “found out Pence turned on us and they had stolen the election like officially.”
The proceeding examples of the extreme nuts the U.S. has bred in past years.
As the days pass, it is becoming increasingly clear that certain lawmakers may have conspired with the Capitol attackers in placing legitimate Congressional persons and their staffs in legal peril. The conspiring having taken place the day before the attack.
If true, they should be sought out and charged with the most serious seditious crimes carrying the longest sentences. Benedict Arnolds one and all.
Trump’s reputation has dropped swiftly the past 2 weeks. He is toxic and no one wants to be close to him in any fashion.
Many companies have withdrawn their support. Many prominent persons who previously supported Trump, also.
Ariel Pink, the Indie rock artist, is one who now suffers because of his past support of Trump.
Ariel was on the Tucker Carlson show. Sorrowfully complaining. His label has dropped him. He told Carlson his support of Trump now “leaves me destitute and on the street.” He claims he has been “stripped of his livelihood…..People are so mean.”
Substantiation once again of the Biblical words: “As ye sow so shall ye reap.” In today’s words: “If you go to bed with a dog, you wake with fleas.”
It was announced yesterday that Trump and his entourage will leave Washington the morning of January 20 on Air Force One. Trump heading for his new home at Mar-a-Lago.
Trump’s toxicity and actions over the years have left many Mar-a-Lago neighbors unhappy with Trump. They do not want him as a neighbor. Palm Beach County is looking for a way to end Trump’s agreement in 1993 giving permission to run a business at Mar-a-Lago. The agreement does not provide for Trump or anyone else to live there.
Every nation having a problem with coronavirus has the elderly listed near the top of the priority list to receive shots first. Except, one. Indonesia.
The elderly are at or near the bottom of the list. Vaccines are being reserved for those under 60. Considered “young” by Indonesian standards.
Two reasons therefore. Indonesians claim there is a lack of research as to how the vaccine will affect older recipients. They believe vaccinating the young first is the best way to dampen widespread transmission of the virus. Younger persons are the largest group spreading the virus.
Two years ago, a tiki hut vessel appeared on Key West waters. A boat. Merely a tiki hut with a small bar beneath it. A good way to enjoy a drink  by day and to view the sunset in the evening.
Someone stole the Tiki Hut boat. Twenty four hours later the thief was arrested. Stone drunk!
He is Tyln Earl Morlang, a 36 year old from Missouri.
He apparently spent the night on the boat. Whether he got drunk while on or before not known yet. Could be while on. It was a cold evening. He might have consumed a few bottles of alcohol to keep warm.
He did try to start a fire to keep warm. A series of small fires. One in a coconut, others in plastic cups. None took sufficiently to remain ongoing for very long.
He’s lucky he did not burn the Tiki Hut and kill himself during his night long cruise.
This day in 2009 a happy and proud one. For all concerned.
I am sure you recall.
U.S. Airways Captain Chesley “Suny” Stullenberger was flying an Airbus 320. The plane hit a flock of birds just after take off. Both engines were disabled.
Sully accomplished the impossible. He landed the plane on the Hudson River. All 155 persons on board were saved.
Enjoy your day!

Hi, Ben!  Hope your day went well, and that your candles were fragrant and calming!  That sucks about the coconut ones, could it maybe just be a reaction to whatever chemical they use to fake/enhance the coconut scent?  Do coconut soaps or lotions, etc, cause a similar issue?  My mom is super sensitive to fragrances in things like candles, but never seems to have the same problem with any foods or natural sources.  (I remember having to be really careful back in high school when I was going through assorted phases that involved incense XD )
And I did see your email, and it was totally fine, I don’t mind at all, I just don’t tend to check that one very often, (it’s old and was mainly for mailing lists), and my phone isn’t always the best at letting me know I have new mail from that address.  Usually I try to scroll back to where I last remember leaving off on the blogs I check most often (one reason I have reduced that number…), so I don’t miss things too often at least.  It’s also why I occasionally go back through their archives just to see if there was something that slipped past me.  If you’re curious, I have seen a couple of your metas turn up on other TW blogs I check.  (Side note- overly affectionate kitties are the best.  Most of the ones I used to sit for regularly were the aggresively cuddly type.  I rather miss it, and them.  XD )
The extended preview was wonderful, and very helpful as a distraction (though thankfully today, while crazy busy, was less overall frustrating than yesterday.)  Ben trying to nom on Peter’s ears, and not being thrown at all by his appearance.  Malia getting Derek to be playful.  Noah being an adorable and affectionate troll.  All the kids (including Jackson even he tries to pretend otherwise) just being like “OKAY THE PUPPY’S FAIR GAME!!!” as soon as Noah sets him down.  Also, I feel like not only do Malia and Derek careen into Jax, they tackle him onto the puppy pile of his other siblings.  Chris and Noah are just sitting to either side of Peter with doofy smiles on their faces, absently petting him (because how could they not?)  Also, also, I feel like Noah totally gets a picture of Malia and Ben together to put in a photo album/scrapbook next to a picture of Malia from her first shift.  He seems like the kind of dad that would have things like that (if only so he could get them out at the best/worst times, like for example when she officially brings Kira home [Kira thinks it’s all unbearably cute, ofc])
And the kid fic idea sounds cute, though I think it could easily be one of those ones that turns out longer than you expect.  Because just how much older is that kid’s bloodline supposed to be, given how old it’s implied the Hales are?  And I foresee that Peter and Chris sorting their shit out could take a while.  Because while Peter would need to prove himself trustworthy as someone who won’t just murder them all for his own gain, Chris would need to prove himself trustworthy as someone to risk a relationship with (because if one was going to dump the other, it would have been Chris acting out of fear of Gerard/hunters, Peter was never the type to worry about things like that, and then his family tried to eradicate Peter’s [though he claims he knew nothing about it])  Also, how does he know Malia is safe?  Her adoptive dad just sort of disappeared into the ether at some point.  Pretty much the main residence we saw her hanging out in was the Stilinski one.  Is he getting updates from Noah?  Is their relationship even in a place for that to happen?  (Is Peter still questioning on some level which of the two it actually was that managed to get a call to connect in the underground ruins of a deserted Aztec [or whatev] temple, if not both?)  Is anyone keeping them up-to-date on Beacon Hills at all?
Random thought - if the requirements for bi rep are plaid and layers then you def have evidence for Noah as well as Chris XD  (though the lack of leather or hoodies is a goddamn shame XD )
Oh!  Other random ass thought from today, partially caused by the whole “Country Rhodes” thing (still choking on laughter over that one), and some other post about growing up Catholic.  I am not Catholic, but a couple of my best friends were, and I remember them talking about how their grandma would do this prayer to St. Anthony whenever she was looking for something that went something along the lines of “Tony, Tony, look around.  Something’s lost and can’t be found”, and I just immediately got this visual of the Avengers doing that when they’re staying in Stark Tower because they know Jarvis is listening at all times, and will immediately go tell Tony, even though they know he can’t help, because they are all horrific trolls and assholes.  (In my mind the worst ones about doing this are Steve, Clint, Bucky, and Sam.  Sometimes Nat.  Thor is confused by it at first, then keeps pretending to be confused so he can troll Tony.)
And I posted the second chapter of the dating fic, which features the segment I sent you before, in case you were curious about the context at any point.  XD
Anyway, it’s getting crazy late, and tomorrow is an early shift, so.  I hope your day is cheerful and as productive as you need it to be for your own comfort, however much or however little that is.  Take care!  *Hugs!*
