bianca york. 25-27. actress.

bianca is from lake placid and she was a competitive skiier and considered going for the olympics. however she had an accident and found acting.

she majored in acting and did theatre workshops in the summer before moving to la on the request of a friend who had been working on projects. she's done a lot of great independent films a la elizabeth olsen and she's done miniseries and she's up and coming.

she's very happy with her life and she loves doing new things and taking on challenges. however, she wasn't expecting the challenge of being with dexter montgomery. however, she adores him and she's always been a stubborn woman, despite how easy going she seems. the people she cares about mean everything to him and she's drawn to dex.

nash quentin. 24-27. student/screenwriter.

so yo nash is part of the quentin family. they aren't hollywood royalty but the family has ties to the business. 

he went to chapman university for film and he's been working on set as various things until he finally decided he wanted to be a screenwriter and got into graduate school for it. 

however at blah age, he is studying to get his mfa in screenwriting from university of southern california. people see him walking around and think he's just a frat boy but no, he's a graduate student and he's awesome and he's interned with a few companies while in graduate and undergraduate school.

he has famous friends whom he went to school with. he went to an arts high school etc. people love him and he's modeled a little in the past but he's currently mckenna wilde's mystery man. he's really into her.

william arden. 33. novelist.

william is originally from scotland and he goes by "will." he is from a small village in the outer hebrides. he went to st. andrew's for english with determination to become a writer. also his real name is william macdougal but he needed a pen name ok?

he wrote his first book at the age of twenty-three and it was published. however, his second book, the bride of barra, became a best seller. he is like nicholas sparks but classier and has better books. anyway, he wrote once that he had a great love but hasn't had one since.

he's very private and has only been on a few talk shows but not any in the past three years. he doesn't do signings but he will sign books if you send them to him with return envelopes and stuff. he lives in scotland but he the bride of barra is being turned into a movie and he's moving out to hollywood temporarily to assist on the movie, which he has a lot of say in, which is rare for most novelists.

he's a nice man but he's very private and very reserved. but if you are his friend, you have a friend for life. he's very loyal and true to the people who have made a home in his life.

Pearl Jones

Pearl Jones was a young girl living in Los Angeles in 1925. Like her roommate Hattie Hargrove, she dreamed of a career in movies but so far had only worked her way up to roles as an extra. Her big break seemed to come when she caught the eye of movie star Chase Hamilton and received an invitation to a party held by producer B.D. Bloch. Tragically, it was something else entirely. B.D. Bloch was a member of a group of vampires in Los Angeles, and Chase Hamilton fed her to them. Discarded and dying from being brutally fed upon, Skinner Sweet came to her and injected her with his blood. She rose after dying as the second American Vampire.

Skinner Sweet

In 1880, Skinner Sweet was a notorious thief and murderer who earned his nickname for his sadism and his love of candy. Unknown to him, he wronged an elitist society of European vampires, who hired James Book of the Pinkerton Agency to bring him in to hang. Sweet made a daring escape with the help of his gang but was attacked in the process by one of the vampires, Mr. Percy. He was bitten, and when Percy was shot point blank, some of the vampire's blood fell into Sweet's eye. As a result of the blood transfer, Skinner Sweet became the world's first American Vampire. He was stronger than the elitist European vampires and could survive in direct sunlight unlike them. He also is weakened by gold and not silver. After being stuck in his grave for twenty years, Sweet rose and discovered what he had become. Skinner emerged from his flooded grave when European vampires would have been incapacitated. He immediately went on the warpath, killing everyone he could and going after the people who had wronged him in life. Skinner also infected an actress who was attacked and nearly killed by his European counterparts.

Hattie Hargrove

Pearl's close friend who betrayed her, becoming a vampire herself. She was kept captive for at least four years before killing her captor and going on the hunt for Pearl Jones.

Henry Preston

He's introduced for the first time asking Pearl to finally go on a date with him. A traveling musician. After being turned into a vampire, Pearl and Henry hide away and live their life together. Though soon he goes away to war and fights alongside Skinner Sweet. Pearl showing up to save him.

Cash McCogan

The young chief of police in Las Vegas in 1935, having inherited the mantle from his father, who was gunned down recently. McCogan has a problem, because bodies are showing up drained of blood -- prominent citizens all around town -- and so it kind of leads him down the rabbit hole into the world of American Vampire as he begins to investigate. McCogan encounters the main vampires who were introduced in the first storyline( ie Pearl, Skinner, etc. also Henry).

Felicia Book

Fathered by James Book and his god-daughter Abilena on the night he dies. She is a member of The Vassals of the Morning Star, an organization which hunts vampires. She seems to have unique abilities due to her father's vampirism, though the extent of her abilities are yet to be seen.

Travis Kidd

A vampire hunter from 1950s who uses wooden fangs to "bite back" his prey. Travis Kidd was orphaned at a young age when in the mid 30s a group of vampires murdered his parents in search of Skinner Sweet. He then spent an extended period in a psychiatric ward where he'd constantly speak of vampires and was set to be lobotomized, until he eventually escaped with the help of Linden Hobbes. Once free, he began to hunt vampires, searching for Skinner Sweet, who he blamed for the death of his parents.

Calvin Poole

Calvin Poole was a member of a secret unit of soldiers put together by The Vassals of the Morning Star during World War II, in order to investigate Japanese vampire experiments in the Pacific Theatre. Other members of Poole's squad included American Vampire Pearl Jones' husband Henry Preston, and the original American Vampire, Skinner Sweet, who had infiltrated the unit. Poole's unit was eventually captured by the Japanese military, and kept imprisoned where they'd experiment on their mutated strand of vampires. When Henry finally gets Skinner to reveal his true form, the unit stage a darring escape, while the US army commenced a bombing on the facility. Though Poole ended up being rescued thanks to Henry and Pearl, while in the wreckage of the facility, a vial of Peral's blood that Henry had been carrying in case he ever needed to turn himself into a vampire in a last ditch effort for survival, had broken, and seeped into Poole's blood, infecting and turning him into an American Vampire.

has enjoyed a long and successful career in hollywood working primarily in television but also having great success in film

became an ordained minister on the set of her hit 90s show 'minister mom' and has since officiated at nearly every hollywood wedding that she could since

mother of a boatload of lovely children who are in various stages of grown up and levels of fame (I MEAN SHE WAS MAYBE NOT ANYMORE?? SINCE I DON'T THINK ANY OF THEM ARE COMING BACK)

served two terms as governor of california (it's a running joke that one day she'll run for president but lbh she's done with government), took a break from acting then OBVS

founded and runs the therese miller foundation (a charitable fund that raises money to support all sorts of charities) ((therese is a+ at getting money out of her rich friends and she's 700% not ashamed of it))

just generally put together and classy

loves wine and secretly dreams of buying a vineyard and retiring to run it (she may be getting close to this)

also she's currently writing her memoirs (it's absolutely called 'my husband left me and other tragedies' but it's really lighthearted and tongue in cheek humorous okay)

and i really really want her to be falling in love with her ghostwriter/publisher (cuz i’m kinda bored of her being dumped okay?) who is probably too young for her but is most definitely her second husband (even if they never officially marry you know?)
