Yapping about Cookie Run and Humans

So, I just wanna take a moment to yap about the cookies from Cookie Run and humans. We know that there are some obvious differences between humans and cookies, such as humans having flesh/blood/bones/and apparently a very strong form of magic. Also, humans are HUGE in cookie run.

For example, I was talking to a friend who also plays cookie run and they stated that the cookies are around 8.75 in height.

This is a visual of that.

Humans are pretty big and they are bigger than the dragons even. My friend said that Pitaya in his dragon form would only be as big as a small dog or a medium/smallish dog in height in comparison to humans. Also, apparently the Witches don't leave their dwellings? Because they don't wander around in the overworld. Any cookie that escapes the witches are not pursued and are allowed to run out into the world to do whatever they want, the witches don't chase them down or hunt them. So, that makes me wonder if the witches are either confined to their dwellings or take on a different form if they do leave their homes. (As walking at that size would be enough to cause tremors and break environments, like trees and such) Another thing that I think is pretty neat is that humans are probably eldritch horrors to cookie kind. Being made of material that isn't sugary/savory/foodish in appearance would probably be unsettling to look at. But, it also makes me think of a story that was about a human eating the flesh of an eldritch god and gaining forbidden knowledge and senses by doing so (and being driven mad as a result of this). I wonder what would happen if a cookie tasted witch flesh or drank a drop of witch blood...? Likewise, I also wonder what would happen if a human WAS wandering around in the overworld. No doubt their path would be obvious and they would 100% be the top predator in ANY environment they are traveling through. Imagine an ecosystem that is usually so noisy with life being so disturbingly silent because a large predator is in the area. Like some Jurassic Park level shit. And if a cookie manages to befriend a human? They would easily be either the most respected cookie or the most feared.

Befriending an eldritch being that isn't made with the materials your world is made from, has an appetite for your fellow cookies (arguably, their human companion can also completely abstain from eating any cookies and it's just the cookie friend that is saying that shit), and is capable of powerful magic/attacks? While being bigger than a dragon and having acidic saliva that can break down sugar and sweets with ease? A true terror. The Order of the Fork would definitely have an interest, that's for sure. I'll probably write something like this because the short "lone giant" stories from a certain tumblr user is giving me brainworms. Thanks for reading my rambles.

It was an unspoken rule in their community that if one ever wanted street food tacos one was required to always go to Mrs. Castillo’s food truck first. If she was closed for business for the day other places were fair game but usually if you went out and got some other businesses tacos while Mrs. Castillo was open; it was grounds for some friendly bullying. 

So it was only par for the course that that’s what Dallas’s cousin Beth decided to do when she inevitably found him eating Taco Bell, alone, at one of the cafeteria tables. In Dallas’s defence… he was broke and a Crunch Wrap Supreme just hit differently in a junk foodish way that Mrs. Castillo’s tacos just couldn’t. 

“ Seriously?” Beth protested as she slapped down her lunch tray onto the table in front of Dallas, causing her pudding cup to jump ship where it landed pitifully on the table. 

Dallas choked on his taco and glanced up as Beth sat down across from him. 

“Mrs. C’s is open Cuz, I can’t believe you went and got that-“ Beth cut herself off and gestured vaguely towards Dallas and his taco, “sad looking thing.” 

Dallas chewed thoughtfully on his taco before holding it by the side of his face as he frowned at Beth. 

“It was lonely,” he pouted. 

Beth stared at him seemingly uninterested, “You used up all your allowance on yarn again didn’t you?” 

Putting down his taco sadly at being found out Dallas responded, “Yes.”

“You should’ve just asked me to get you something dumby,” Beth grumbled back as she absentmindedly twirled her dyed red hair strand around her pointer finger. 

“Yeah, you would’ve, but specifically something off extreme spice menu at Mrs. C’s.” 

Beth grinned, a bit crookedly, before lurching forward to snatch the untouched half of the Crunch Wrap off of wax paper it was sitting on. 

“What can I say,” Beth hummed, “I live to torment.”

Uncle Jun is a bit irritated on Unlcle DD for not giving us foodish and I'm agreeing on that plus this Kokoy as well... He asked me what's the deal of Kokoy being here... I said he just came coz he was being kicked-out then he told me he is waiting for Darwin...

I hope angels they will still allow Uncle Jun to borrow foodish coz I'm still DEAD BROKE!

Kokoy brought a 1 kilo of rice coz he said biological mother will give us a rice... I asked him if he has money to buy rice then he did... From the past days it was the rice of Kokoy that we used plus the foodish brought by Uncle Jun here...

Still, my soap on Uncle DD coz I'm their slave here? I will ask for shampoo and toothpaste and whatever like KOJIC soap, I still need my ALUM POWDER... But I know this is my nana but I need to have money angels to buy those stuff and my 1500 on my LCD SAMSUNG, to repair it...

Hmm... I'm having anxiety coz of everything here... Done, feeding and changing diaper for nana... I'm a bit tired... But I still want to do my stretching at one moment of my everyday life coz it is a double anxiety if I will gain beyond my ideal weight... It is weight management...

I feel self-pity coz nobody wants me to have a phone in a way... But i told Maco if she can help me on that 1500 and she said if she will have extra money again... I feel being abused here but in a way coz I don't have a job and I need some soap and shampoo so this the way of my family these days. I feel embarass as if I was not on the category of being spoiled... Gets? But whatever I'm doing for nana these days are coming from my heart. I just can't take it that I'm begging for shampoo and some basics toiletries like Kojic soap and some local hair dye... You know what I mean angels...

i started training esmeralda to not eat random things off the floor, shes already picked it up soooo quickly.

i used vinegar dampened paper towels (to simulate my roommates chemical filled paper towels they leave down all the time), pieces of ripped cabbage (to bait her with "things that could be food but you dont have permission to eat") and then i used some plastic wrappers and various types of pills. mainly tums (cause of the foodish smell) and then tylenol pills, because my roommates leave pills down on the floor.

she got it almost immediately. gonna continue training her throughout the day and over the next few days so i dont have to be soooo worried leaving her with my roommates for 8 hours, even if the roommates do leave down poisons.

Pancakes with banana, fruits and maple syrup (vegan)

A few days ago we fancied something sweet in the evening.. that and the thing that we had nothing left from lunch, made us cook pancakes.

Made out of spelt flour and soy drink we made these delicious pancakes which we ate with maple syrup, fruits out of the freezer which we heated up and a banana. 👌🏽

Book Review #103 of 2019:

Tweet Cute by Emma Lord. Rating: 4.0 Stars.

Read from November 22 to November 23.

Before I start absolutely gushing, let’s get the standard protocol out of the way. I was given an Advance Reader’s Copy of Tweet Cute from St. Martin’s Press through Netgalley in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are my own.

This adorably cheesy and punny novel is about a girl named Pepper and a guy named Jack who get into a Twitter war over their family’s fast food restaurants. I would say this one is a weird hybrid of Gossip Girl, You’ve Got Mail, and a recipe book and it all works (and also makes me famished). If this doesn’t get optioned for a cute Rom-Com then all of Hollywood is asleep at the wheel.

I feel like I have a pretty high standard for contemporary novels because I love Sci-Fi and Fantasy so much. I hold them above so many other genres that it’s hard for them to compete and, yet, this one does. The New York setting feels so real in this novel which I think is rare for contemporaries. If you’re writing in this world, there’s no need for world building. But I felt like the author really tried to put the readers into New York and she does a great job of it. Which automatically puts it toward the top of my list of favorite contemporaries. Then it has so many funny and sweet moments that you can’t help but feel your heart flutter. And then to top it all off, like the cherry on a sundae, you have so many great descriptions of sandwiches and desserts that I wish I was in my kitchen right now and not writing a review.

There were just two things that I feel didn’t necessarily match with the rest of the novel and are pretty standard fare for contemporary novels so I can’t complain too much. One is that while the parents are more involved in this novel, they also feel a little unrealistic at times. Pepper’s mother in particular doesn’t seem to be an authentic portrait of a mother who loves her daughter. There were times when Pepper came to her mother with issues and her mother either blew her off or acted like Pepper was the problem. The second one is the usual “this problem wouldn’t exist of the characters weren’t idiots.” Now, for 95% of the book I don’t think either of the main characters seemed like idiots. But there are a few moments in the book when I felt like Jack should have caught on before he did. In comparison to other main characters in contemporary novels, Jack is a Rhodes Scholar, but it does take away from the story when it happens.

Overall, I think this one is a cute story for almost everyone. Don’t read if you don’t like cuteness, will-they-won’t-they, food, New York City, or feeling all the warm and fuzzy feels. Do read if you want a quick contemporary novel that really makes you care about the characters. All kidding aside I don’t know that there is a reader out there I wouldn’t recommend this one to.

Crysette left the room here around 12 midnight... She was here in the room since 8pm...

I'm not happy coz I can't exist here and nobody will take over on nana but me these days... Who will do it? Uncle Jun is able but he is doing his task in baranggay hoping that someone could still allow him to borrow food for us here... I feel bad coz Uncle DD gave me 150 pesoses coins remember, angels? Supposed to be for my coffee,shampoo and toothpaste... But Uncle Jun yesterday said that nobody allowed him to borrow foodish. I wonder why?

While cleaning the peks or down there or changing diaper, you have to clean the back part or give nana a quick bathe just to clean her body and armpits... We have gloves here... It must have always a gloves not your bare hands!!!

Anyways, my half-brother Kokoy is still here probably a blessing in disguise coz nana is here on the old room of RV then the situation are totally different these days. When Uncle Jun leave the house every morning, then I have a companion for the day coz I'm busy started Thursday on taking care of nana coz I have no job and no one will look after her but me and John. But my baby John is just inside the house. But Kokoy will leave the house in a lil while, he is just waiting for his job with Darwin, in a lil while...
