I got really excited for @ghoul--doodle‘s FoodFight contest and may have spent all day researching and designing her.

Theme-Dragon Fruit

This is Taya and Pit :D. 

Taya (She/they) is very bubbly and a go-getter; the kind of person who watch/make slicing various things videos. She can be absent minded even in the heart of battle but she has a strong sense of conviction and doesn't give up easily. 

Her summon weapon is the Magent-claw, hard to wield and even harder to wield effectively but can be great for taking out multiple foes.

Pit (He/him) acts as her impulse control and tries to keep her on task for missions. He can shoot spikes from his tail for defense.

frantically squeezing in a last-minute entry to @ghoul--doodle's mage design contest! here's kelly, rollerblading coach for local kids by day, her roller derby team's most formidable blocker by night, and fruit gummy-themed magical warrior whenever trouble calls, and their absent-minded, vaguely frog-shaped companion gumball

kelly is a friendly and soft-spoken person in the real world, almost bordering on shy, but adopts a more confident and banter-riddled persona when she's up against fellow derby players or various magical beasts. all attempts to summon this personality outside of a competitive environment have failed

her companion gumball is just the biggest goober ever. he comes across as spaced out in conversation, but he has a surprisingly sharp eye for detail and takes note of things that are easy to dismiss as unimportant or miss in the heat of battle, often completely oblivious to the fact that nobody else noticed or that this is vital information

they're buddies!! kelly appreciates gumball's carefree attitude and kind nature, and gumball just thinks it's cool that kelly is nice to him. do NOT separate them. they will both be very upset

gumball is the semi-official mascot of kelly's roller derby team! he doesn't understand how the game works at all, but it's fun to watch

kelly acts as a tank in battle, absorbing hits for less armoured mages with their shield or elbow/kneepads. they're fast enough on their rollerblades to cover multiple teammates simultaneously, although she struggles on rough terrain

if she needs to do the fighting herself, generally their tactic is to either ram foes really hard with her shield at top speed or just punch stuff the old fashioned way if that's not possible. it cuts it in a pinch, but they're most at home supporting a team!

in general kelly vastly prefers being part of a group and doesn't like being alone. she very deeply appreciates having gumball as a friend to talk to when she'd otherwise be by herself, and gets noticably antsy when he isn't around

usually gumball just chills out and watches as kelly is doing their magical warrior thing, occasionally swooping in to helpfully point out if he's noticed something that nobody else has mentioned yet. sometimes it's a pattern or tell that's crucial to predicting an opponent's movements, other times it's a completely irrelevant remark about the way the flowers here are arranged. he's like a roulette wheel for magical companion advice

Peach themed mage for @ghoul--doodle‘s food fight design contest!

Actually had a bit of trouble while designing this in the beginning, but I’m really happy with how it came together in the end and all in all had a lot of fun with it! :]

I still gotta brainstorm more details about them, but some small tidbits I did come up with will be under the cut!

- Leanna is a spunky person. She’s very confident and charming, but she’s also very sweet and cares deeply for others. They can sometimes be a bit impulsive and reckless, but always has the best of intentions.

- They have a passion for hairstyling! They’re constantly trying out new hairstyles and I imagine she helps out at a local hair salon

- I still need to brainstorm this part some more but I know I want her to have at least one younger sibling c:

- Bud is quite simillar to them personality wise, but with an added layer of mischeviousness. He’s a jokester and pretty carefree, there’s alot of times Leanna needs to make sure he’s focused bshdg He is just a little creacher. He cannot change this

my design for @ghoul--doodle​’s food fight design contest! say hello to Mei and Tippi! The theme is Boba tea! (specifically coffee milk tea) and Mei’s weapon is a hefty battle axe :)

Mei is very curious and bubbly but is also introverted and enjoys quality comfort time curled up with a comic book. Tippi, her jackalope companion, is a bit of chatty little buddy but Mei doesn’t mind. 

I had a lot of fun and felt really inspired making this design!! working with the warm pinks and browns was very nice to look at :)

Peanut butter and jelly mage and companion for @ghoul--doodle’s food fight! Honestly I don’t have many ideas beyond a design but:

Persephone hates her name and prefers to be called Percy. She introduces herself as Percy. But still has to sign legal documents with her full name.

Jynx is very much a cautious little creature but will give an intimidating roar if need be.

Candy corn themed mage for the Food Fight contest @ghoul--doodle !!! I decided to do a punk, heavy metal theme because I fucking love that kind of music and I wanted to draw someone cool :) Her name is Mara and she goes by all pronouns and is aroace. She adores the heavy metal, punk, and goth music genres and loves going to concerts 

Her companion Joey is an African Wild Dog and they both share their love for meeting new people, having fun, and being creative with everything they are apart of

She’s a bit dense with other people’s emotions and doesn't do well with social cues, but he means well and tries his hardest to make sure people are comfortable around him

Overall they’re a big ol himbo and love to rock out :D

Finally got to designing a Mage for @ghoul--doodle 's Food Fight Mage Contest! 🍳

Her name is Qinyang (Yang for short) and they are an Orange Mage🍊 She is a very compassionate, fierce, and protective person🧡 she also wears hearing aids due to moderate hearing loss caused by listening to music too loudly and playing the drums without ear protection 🎧

Their weapon is an Orange Shield that can grow in size and be thrown like a boomerang✨

Her companion is a tortoise named Lucky! He's very soft spoken, patient, and insightful🐢 However, he's also very slow (which Yang isn't always fond of, but she still loves and cherishes him!)

She works in the kitchen in a restaurant owned and ran by their family.🍴 Although she loves working with their family, she also wants to play drums for a living 🥁

Its a bit late but i wanted to do a design for @ghoul--doodle Mage design contest- I had a lot of fun doing this- i really should do more contests like this-

some info below-

So i did not fully know what to do with for a food- I was gonna go with pop rock candy or just...rock candy cause they are really colorful- but i thought a mango could work out- and i always can draw more ideas later sense this was super fun!

Morgans food theme is Mango!

-Morgan is a smart guy! and likes to try and show off a bit- with fashion that is! and also some old timey magic tricks though mostly with younger kids-

-Morgan loves to help others out a really sweet yet quite guy!

-Lenny’s colors are more on the ‘inside’ of the mango- as well as the inside of Morgans coat!

-Lenny is a very active little chatter box! *they like to steal Morgans hat a lot...He just doesn't stop him at this point-*

-Lenny is a bit of a trouble with everyone and only really behaves with people Morgan goes tricks for...so yes- he is very much trouble with Morgan still-

Just saw @ghoul-doodle is holding a Food Fight mage design contest and decided to throw my hat into the ring with a very indulgent somewhat-self-insert. This is Nellie and Eggwin, she’s an Easter Egg mage and Eggwin is her companion. Sure, an Easter chick would’ve made more sense, but pigs are very Rounde, like eggs (which is lucky for Nellie, who’s scared of birds).

Nellie’s a nice enough lad, happy to help and he’s good at following orders. They also like smacking things with their Easter egg flail, as well as kicking and punching (but mostly the flail).

Yeah that’s all I got for her I’m afraid, but I like the Food Fight mages and this was fun to draw. Had to refrain from just recontextualizing one of my Candy Witches, so you get this lovely lass instead.

Her name is Poke/Pocket!! It goes by She/It, and is a very shy lesbian <33

Her, her weapon, and her companion are all pocky themed. Its staff can come apart into two different nunchucks, n then snap back together. Then for her companion, I chose a dragon just bcs I wanted pocky spikes lmao-

I tried making a strawberry shortcake inspired mage for the Food Fight @ghoul--doodle is doing. Her name is Annabelle and she has a whipped cream sheep companion name Buttercream. Her weapon is a fork-style trident.
