(   i’d like to preface this by saying that i have literally so many ideas for potential relationships with angelica and fran??? so i think i’m gonna do two headcanons for each of those different concepts. (((under the cut bc it got super long whoops)))   )

in which fran & pip are dating

→ angelica being so fiercely protective of pip and fran understands (as much as she can, having no siblings of her own) but it’s weird because they had been friends long before fran realized she had feelings for pip. it’s weird but fran is so happy to see it cause its Pure and she Loves her boyfriend and his dear sister with all of her heart→ angelica and fran bonding over how much they love philip and also trading embarrassing stories about him with each other. ange has all the Good Stuff from him growing up, and fran has all the silly antics and the shenanigans that he gets into at their shared apartment.

in which fran & ange are dating

→ fran is honest-to-god terrified of ange’s entire family because she has so many brothers and fiercely protective parents and she just knows that one wrong move leads to ange’s brothers and ange’s dad and ange’s mom kicking her ass. ange has some freaky ass intuition and knows how terrified fran is, so she Always does her best to remind her of how much both she and her family love her and that really, the entire family adores fran and love how, even throughout all of her issues, she still does her absolute best to treat ange like a princess→ okay but can you imagine the kind of cheesy dates fran would take ange on???? frans an absolute slut for cliche, trope-y ass dates and ange always acts like she hates them, but she doesnt, she fucking Loves them and she can tell that fran puts in so much effort into them and eventually, fran plans the Mother Of All Dates and its just this combo of like a million different tropes and at the very end, frans proposing and ange is just in total shock bc Wow she loves her dorky gf so of course she says yes and now she loves her dorky fiance

in which fran & ange are the best of friends

→ they both meet on frans first day of school in new york. fran is so awkward and nervous bc she grew up in south carolina and the people are completely different out there and the people here are just completely chewing her up and spitting her out so, naturally, she ends up having a panic attack in the girl’s bathroom. ange, having been in the bathroom at the time already, does her best to comfort this strange crying girl and fran is so endlessly grateful for this amazing girl. ange, after finding out about frans fears, decides to dub this girl as her best friend, and theyve probably been inseperable since→ frans dad always tries to have these stupid family dinners to get their small family to bond and fran hates it because theres still a lot of bitterness and resentment towards him over him leaving her mom and everything. the moment ange finds out about these painfully awkward dinners, she decides that she Must come along with to act like a buffer for the awkwardness and it makes the dinners infinitely better and honestly, fran just loves and cherishes her best friend with all of her heart

Literally they make me feel better all the time and they dont even know it, they’re so great, literally so blessed to talk to them as much and as often as I do. We talk about hamliza like all day everyday and its so pure and good. NOT TO MENTIOn THEIR TALENT they are such an amazingly skilled writer im so shook. I could go on for eons. @pianogiftcdLITERALLY THEY ARE SUCH A GOOD. 100/10 would reccomend following them. Their potrayal of Angelica is so amazing, they write a range of ages which is very difficult to do and executes them wonderfully without skimping on the early signs of mental disorders that she was known to have and it’s so amazing REALLY. Like Im just blown away, also good at graphics theyre always so pretty, and they’re just SUPER NICE as a person, and smart and great at languages. I’m so shook that English isn’t their first language because YOU CANT TELL. @fondofbirdsIVE only started really talking to abbi recently, because it was mostly group chat interaction before but i aDORE THEM. Theyre gr9 and a super talented writer who also potrays Angelica and i just love them so much. The divorce verse and the single mom verse we got going is so good and im so excited to write with them more!!! You should follow yes. @pridedsun / @yaletaught JANE IS MY CHILD. i will deadass protect them always. They’re super important to me okay super super super. They give me great hc like everyday, and even if i take forever to respond sometimes theyre super cool about it which i appreciate. Their writing is also so extraordinary and theyre very knowledgeable about a lot of art and myths which i find so cool. 10/10

      “Isn’t it just?” It was, of course, a favorite of Belle’s from when she herself was young. The cover was battered and worn and the pages barely thread together from how often she begged her mother to read it to her every night. Belle likes to think of it as well-loved. To be able to share it with her own daughter was a gift she once thought she would never receive.

      She sometimes thought she saw her mother in Angie, in the curl of her hair and the straightness of her teeth. Her mother would have adored her baby girl almost as much as Belle did. Between her father and her husband, Belle sometimes worried that one day Angelica would be dotted on to the point of being spoiled, and her mother certainly would have added to the affections. In her heart, she still wished that they could have met. But then, if her mama had not passed, perhaps Angie would not exist at all.

      And what a horrible thought, one that she drove away as she plowed kisses all over her little princess’ head and giggling face. When finally they both calmed down, Belle pulled the covers over her tiny frame, took the well-loved book under her arm and kissed her baby’s forehead one last time.

      “Goodnight, my angel.”

"he should be fine, though. he loves disney movies. he'll be distracted for as long as this marathon lasts." frances turned her attention from the little boy on the floor to angelica. There are moments that the words don’t reach

He thinks there is going to be no possible way to say this, to explain the way he was tearing their family apart. The way that his actions had affected each and every one of them. He stares at his daughter, sat in the couch, delicate curls around her perfectly round face. He wets his lips and his hands clench in his lap, knuckles white against the normal olive of his skin.  “Ang we need to talk.” He starts, and looks up at his daughter and feels the guilt hit him like a train, he hadn’t felt it quite as much as he should before. They had tried. Eliza had given him a million second chances, he didn’t deserve a single one. He coudn’t fix what he’d broken, and he knew that when she walked away that it was the end, there had been a silent agreement, papers on his desk the next day. Now he had to break it to the kids, he wouldn’t let Betsey do it, she didn’t deserve to tell her kids that their family was falling apart, no that burden belonged to him alone. 

There is a suffering too terrible to name.

“Your mother and I are getting a divorce.”
