Hey bitches! In honor of SuperM's five year anniversary, I wanted to talk about the insanity of the individual teasers that SM dropped for each member of this group, but we're only gonna be talking about Taeyong’s obviously. I have been dying to talk about this video because it has fucked me up for the past four years of me being an tyongf 😮‍💨.

I'm not ready to do this.

Okay so for context, each member had a specific superpower (to match with the "avengers of kpop" nickname blah blah blah! We definitely will not be getting into that shit rn) some powers were easy to identify and some weren't. Before we talk about Taeyong, I have a quick side rant. An ex-friend and I were fascinated by these trailers for a solid month during 2020 and we were trying to figure what the fuck they meant. Last thing i'll say is that as much as I love Taeyong, I do not watch this video. I swear to god this video makes me tf black out and I don't remember what happened after I'm done watching it lmao. IT IS THAT WILD. Also I do apologies for anything inappropriate flies out of mouth, when it comes to Taeyong who knows wtf I'll say.

Quick question: why didn't Taeyong get popcorn? He's at the movies so it's necessary to get a large bucket of popcorn that's drowned in butter 🍿🧈 ....anywho.

In the movie, Taeyong wakes up in this greenhouse that gives off major witch vibes, it reminds me of the movie "The Love Witch". There's candles, neon lights and this huge altar with a sun sign that he blocks off with his big ass head. This shot is immaculate btw.

The next thing we need to talk about is how good Taeyong looks in this video, very obsessed with his hair color and THIS JACKET! 😵😵😵 OMFG.

A soon as Mina stepped outside, a gust of piercing cold wind blew right against her cheeks. She hissed at the feeling, putting her hood up immediately and shoving her hands as deep as she could into her pockets, letting the humongous puffer jacket swallow her whole.

Donghyuck wasn’t saying nonsense—Mina did love winter. She liked the cold.

But she only liked the cold when the pretty white snow, colourful holiday decorations, and peaceful stillness of the world distracted her from the freezing temperature.

These icy winds weren’t going to cut it.

Yet, she still continued along each block, head down as to not face the wind. Eventually, the familiar neon sign of the diner she and her friends frequented came into view. 

Mina squinted her eyes, trying to see through the dark. As she got closer, she made out a tall, slim figure leaning on the concrete ledge infront of the building.

“Donghyuck!” She called out, making her way towards him.

The boy was only wearing a thin jacket; it astonished you how he wasn’t dying. At the sound of his name, he glanced up from his phone screen, sputtering a laugh when he saw the size of her jacket.

“What?” Mina asked, frowning.

“You look like a penguin.”

Her eyebrows furrowed, causing him to laugh more. “I will make your head and that brick wall make out right now.”

“You wouldn’t.” 

“Want to test your luck, Lee?”

“This how you treat someone who’s just about to pay for you, Park?”

Mina opened her mouth in protest, before closing it and looking away. She took his word for it, not bringing any money—he couldn’t not pay for her now, after a part of her died just trying to meet him here.

The boy snickered at her reaction. “Thought so.”

Rolling her eyes, Mina pushed past him and into the diner. Donghyuck followed in after her, the ghost of a smile never leaving his lips. There was a singular employee inside mopping the floor, preparing to close for the night. The ringing of the bell at the door made her look up in surprise. Mina shot her a small, apologetic smile, to which the employee returned as she walked behind the counter.

The two of them ordered their drinks and left just before closing time. As Mina stepped back out into the harsh outside, it felt like deja vu as she immediately grew rigid and stiff from the low temperature. Thankfully, the wind had calmed down, making it more bearable.

(It wasn’t by much.)

Mina felt an arm brush past her, causing her gaze to snap up. Donghyuck had walked past her.

She stared at him in confusion as he made his way across the empty parking lot. Where the hell is he going? she thought.

Sensing she wasn’t behind him, Donghyuck stopped and turned around, momentarily staring at the girl who still hadn’t moved. He beckoned her to follow him before continuing nonchalantly. Mina shook her head, but listened anyway. She tried her best to catch up to him, careful not to spill her drink.

Eventually, Donghyuck stopped and sat down on one of the cement blocks, propping his arms on his knees and taking a sip from his drink.

She looked down at him, perplexed—is he not cold?

Mina’s thoughts were interrupted as a sudden gust of wind blew against her face, causing her to wince.

Donghyuck looked up at her, whose eyes were screwed shut and shoulders were hunched. A small sigh left his lips, before setting his drink aside and lightly tugging on her coat sleeve.

Mina cracked her eyes open, looking straight into Donghyuck’s shiny, chocolate brown ones that reflected in the moonlight. “Sit. Your knees are going to lock if you stand for too long.”

The girl grimaced, shaking her head. “It’s fine- the cement will be way too cold,” she said, shakily.

Donghyuck let out a small huff, before unzipping his own jacket and beginning to remove it. 

Mina’s eyes widened. Is he asking to freeze? 

She quickly grabbed onto his coat with her free hand, stopping him.

“What are you doing?” She asked, flustered.

“You can sit on my jacket,” he deadpanned, eyes boring into her.

“Are you insane? You’re going to freeze, Donghyuck?”

The boy shrugged, “It’s fine. I'm not cold.”

Mina lightly hit him, scowling. “It doesn’t matter if you don’t feel cold- you’ll get sick. I’ll just sit,” she said. 

She made sure to sit on her jacket as she slowly sat down next to him. She finally set down her icy drink, briskly rubbing her hands together and breathing into them in an attempt to warm them up.

Donghyuck looked at her shivering figure. His lips almost tugged downwards as a small wave of guilt washed over him. He really hadn’t known she would’ve been this cold.

“Are your hands really that cold?” he softly asked after a while. 

The girl didn’t respond, hugging herself tighter as her teeth continued to lightly chatter. It wasn’t even December yet- why was it so cold?

Mina felt a small tug at her arm, causing her unwrap herself halfway and look over in confusion. “Uh- what- what are you doing?”

“Give me your hands.”

Every member has this kind of fans. The important fans are not them (they will always do mayhem, idols are just tools for them to work through their anger or other negative emotions), but those who follow what they see around them, copy others. This wavering majority needs to be shown an alternative example. A fandom needs a culture. Back in the day there were moderators on forums, so it was easier to weed out bad seeds. It is harder with modern type of socmed, but still possible. Just the task lies not on a few people, but on all normally-thinking fans.

Throwing poo and screaming at each other is easy, it is what we got from our monkey ancestors. To become human one needs to be taught manners, dignity, sympathy, critical thinking, etc, etc. No interaction with the stupid (ban), promoting those (likes, retwits) who say or do something of value, dispell lies with truth and proofs without going emotional and personal oneself. Attacking in return, especially by dragging down the OP's biases, will only worsen the situation, not help.

I actually do see positive examples sometimes? People learn themselves after several years in k-pop, I guess.

Honesly, we underestimate how much fans' behaviour reflects on the bias. I legit don't want to check out BTS guys' solos because Army are so irritating. And the boys did nothing to me personally. And might even have to say something with their albums, I won't know untill I will listen to them. I just don't want to give them a chance. On the other hand, I gave a chance to many SM artists after a couple of years of persuasion (because of all the cross-pollination and SM family), and even changed my opinion for the better about some (like Kai and Leetuk).

visiting your best friend’s palace was on your agenda for this saturday morning. something about the fresh air and sunny atmosphere had you excited to meet with him once again. it was difficult to find time to meet, considering the distance between your two palaces, but nevertheless, your friendship could withstand anything. haechan was always a present figure in your life. from the moment you both were born, you were already destined to be friends, whether you liked it or not. thankfully, you got along well with the loud boy. at times he irritated you with his constant teasing and jokes, but for the most part, he was a wonderful companion. he never expected you to do all the things normal ‘princesses your age’ should be doing. instead, he’d let you rough house with him and his friends, accompany you to archery lessons and so on. it was easy to feel comfortable with him. but you were often worried that you only had him to consider as a friend. of course you had many acquaintances that sufficed your basic needs for socialisation, but haechan was the only one you felt truly understood you.

once the doors to his palace came into view, all your worries seemed to have washed away. you became instantly

jittery, your hands couldn’t keep still. you followed your guards closely as they led you into the grand building. you had a small skip in your step once you reached the main courtyard. haechan was smiling widely, waving at you cheerfully. you signalled to your guards that you were now in safe hands, asking for them to disperse. once they followed your orders, you practically ran to the boy, encompassing him in a warm embrace.

“missed me that much huh?” he chuckled, squeezing you a little tighter.

“on the contrary, prince haechan, seems like you missed me more” you giggled softly before pulling away.

“i cant argue with that, princess” although you knew he was just abiding by honourifics, the way he said it made you swoon.

“so how have things been around here? seems like an eternity had gone by since my last visit” you ask as he walks beside you along the trail that outlines the courtyard. you both kept your hands behind your backs, soaking up the glorious sunlight shining down of the pair of you.

“well, father has been immensely worn out due to the upcoming summer ball, he isn’t too pleased that we are hosting it this year” you nodded, understanding where he was coming from. your family had hosted the summer ball last year, you remembered how stressed your parents were, it truly brought more bad than it did good.

“that’s awful to hear, i’m sure he will plan the most extravagant ball we’ve had yet! this palace is amazing, it’s so perfect for a ball, oh how i can’t wait to dance all night in your grand ballroom!” you internally squeal, running the thoughts through your mind. haechan on the other hand couldn’t keep his eyes off you. he always yearned for eye contact when speaking to anyone, especially you. he thought you had some of the most beautiful eyes he had ever seen, but he could never tell you so. he would be too embarrassed, even the thought of complimenting your looks had him shuddering in fear. fear that you wouldn’t take it well, considering your friendly status with one another.

“ah princess y/n, it’s wonderful to see you again!” haechan’s mother greeted you warmly as you both entered the foyer of the palace.

“lovely to see you, your majesty” you now politely, meeting her warm gaze.

“i assume haechan has brought up the summer ball with you? are you planning on bringing a date?” she asks curiously. you knew it was a playful question, but you couldn’t contain how badly you wanted to go with haechan.

“o-oh no i haven’t put much thought to it yet, i will soon” you nod slowly, avoiding her eyes. haechan stood beside you, finding the interaction quite amusing. his mother excused herself, leaving the pair of you alone once again.

“god you still don’t know how to talk to my mother?” he teased, gently tapping you with his shoulder. you shook your head in embarrassment,

“it’s not her! it’s the question she asked. i didn’t know we had to bring dates? is that a new rule?” you questioned, watching as haechan raised his eyebrows.

“i think she was simply curious if you were perhaps dating somebody, or considering dating somebody” he shrugged,

“where would she get that idea?”

“well you didn’t hear from me, but i eavesdropped on a conversation between my parents and yours. they think it’s a good time for us to begin exploring potential life companions” he explains, catching you off guard. he looks around cautiously before guiding you to his parent’s study.

“but haechan, i don’t think i’m ready for marriage yet, there’s so much more i have to learn about myself” you begin to grow nervous, your best friend sensed it, leaning in closer to you. your breath hitched as his nose almost touched yours,

“me neither, just know that you’ll be my first choice” his words took you off guard.

“pardon?”

“if my parents were to choose my future partner, i hope it would be you” he smiled softly, feeling heat rise to his cheeks at his own words. you too, began feeling warm, partially due to his words but also due to how close he was to you.

“i-i would want the same” you softly whispered back, earning a relieved look from the boy. he pulled you into his chest, rubbing your back as he softly swayed you in his arms.

“princess, would you do me the pleasure of attending the ball with me?” he slowly pulled away from you, hands resting on your forearms. you nodded enthusiastically,

“of course, i wouldn’t have it any other way”

the day of the summer ball came rolling by in no time. you had arrived in your carriage with your parents. they too, were beyond ecstatic to be in attendance. haechan’s parents sure knew how to plan such a grand event, it would be the talk of the town for the next few months. your eyes scanned for the prince that would be accompanying you. his eyes met yours as you walked into the foyer of the palace, he greeted your parents politely before asking them to take you off their hands. they immediately complied, adoring the friendship between you both.

“you look astonishing tonight, princess. i should have dressed up more” haechan smirked slightly, offering his arm to link with yours. you smoothly slipped your arm with his,

“thankyou, haechan. you look as handsome as ever, maybe even more than usual” he was at a loss for words, you had never made such advances on him before.

“princess, you shouldn’t say such rash things, my heart may burst” you giggled at his words, shaking your head gently.

“care to dance, your highness?” you practically dragged him to the dance floor. your hands wrapping around the back of his neck as his hands found their place on your waist.

“thank you for accompanying me. it means the world to be spending such a wonderful evening with an amazing woman like yourself” you looked away as he spoke, feeling his eyes gloss over you.

“prince haechan, please stop saying these things to me if your intention is to simply remain being my friend” his eyebrows furrow,

“i’m not saying these things as your friend. i-“ he stops momentarily,

“i think you’re the most beautiful thing in my life. i always look forward to seeing you, something inside me feels like it will burst once you come into my view. the way you carry yourself is admirable. the way you can start a conversation with almost anybody you meet, everything you do, makes my heart beat out of my chest” at this point, you had stopped dancing with him. as everyone was twirling and swaying, you remained still. was this real life?

“i hope i’m not coming on too strong, but i feel something between us. and one day, in the future, i would love for you to be my partner, because, i love you” you felt your heart stop. haechan moves his hand to cup the right side of your face. you had never seen so much concern and fear on his face.

“haechan” you whispered, linking his fingers with yours as you led him away from the dance floor. you found seclusion in his parent’s study, your fingers remaining intertwined.

“you have impressed me beyond my expectations. your confession has come as a surprise to me. when i think of my future, i see you. right by my side. i see us running around in our own courtyard, with our children. i see a lifetime full of smiles and laughter with you. what i want to say is, i-i love you too” his face immediately lightened up, his grip on your hand tightened as he tried to contain himself.

“princess, you have just made me the happiest man on this earth” he wrapped you in his arms, lifting you off your feet for a moment. you squealed at the feeling, gently tapping his shoulders for him to put you down.

“Come in,” a deep voice called from the other side of the door. You pushed the door open, letting it fall close quietly as your heels clicked across the floor of the huge office. You stopped just in front of the mahogany desk, placing the files on it before clearing your throat, gaining the attention of the CEO--Choi San.

His eyes crinkled with it, the expression taking over his whole face in the most beautiful way. You grinned back, meeting his eyes with a slight flush to your face. Truthfully, the two of you had been sleeping together for some time now, but it had turned into more than that. These days, Mr. Choi--San--had been taking you out on dates and surprising you with flowers and gifts for everyone in the office to see. It was a little embarrassing, but you knew his heart was in the right place. It was definitely better than trying to sneak around like you had at first.

“Mr. Park would like to know whether to reschedule the meeting for later this afternoon or tomorrow morning,” you said. San nodded, thinking it over for a moment before looking back up at you.

“Tell him let’s do it today. I want to finish this up, I’m tired of dragging the debate on,” he said. You nodded, shooting Mr. Park a quick text with the instructions. You set the phone down on the desk too, swallowing but not saying anything else. San raised a quizzical eyebrow at you, looking your figure up and down before smirking.

“Is there anything else you needed?”

You bit your lip, wondering how to phrase that you wanted him to bend you over the desk while still maintaining professionalism. You bit your lip, feeling the heat creep onto your cheeks as you stood unmoving.

“I was wondering…” you started. He cocked his head to the side, a single piece of hair falling perfectly onto his forehead. He reached up to remove his glasses, seemingly already knowing what you were trying to say. He folded his hands onto the desk, the shiny watch on his wrist glinting in the sunlight pouring in from the ceiling to floor windows behind him.

“I was wondering if you could, you know, satisfy me before the meeting. I’ve been thinking about it all day,” you choked out. San chuckled, smoothing a hand through his hair before standing at his desk. Despite your heels, he still towered over you, exuding power and authority. You felt a swirl of arousal rush through you, remembering the last time he took you in his office. Okay, so why do NCTzens have a hate boner for Taeyong??? It's so f*cking weird, it doesn't make sense.

Taeyong has been under NCTzens' microscope since his debut. Everything he does is dissected and twisted into something its not. No other member of NCT or any group (except maybe Jennie from Blackpink) is treated this way by the group's fans. NCTzens want Taeyong to be the villain so bad, that they're willing to stoop as low as dehumanizing, body shaming and wishing d3ath on him. NCTzens dislike him, some even hate him and they're not very subtle about it.

Now, I'm not saying all NCTzens are TY antis. I have moots on Twitter who dont stan him, but are incredibly respectful towards him and acknowledge his talents and hardwork. If you're one of them, then this rant is not about you. But i will say this, if it isnt all NCTzens who anti Taeyong, it's most of them.

It started with Lines and Screentime distribution for NCT songs and mvs. Now, i agree that Taeyong used to get a little more lines and screentime than the others at first. But instead of calling out SM, most of you targeted Taeyong saying he deliberately stole the said lines and screentime from his members so that he'd get to shine more..... Really???

Next, when he was announced as a member of SuperM, NCTzens were clearly upset it wasn't Johhny or Jaehyun. Do you wanna know why??? No, they didnt talk about talent. Instead, they wanted Jaehyun/Johhny instead of Taeyong because SuperM is a group targeted at the western audience and Jn & Jh knew to speak English better than TY..... Okay.

And it keeps getting worse.

-NCTzens saying that TY goes into the recording studio to record his solo songs, by LOCKING OUT the rest of NCT, so that they wont get to record their solo stuff.

-That TY is SM's Golden Boy cuz he 'gETs a LoT of SoLO pRoMos anD cENter TiMe', completely refusing to understand what 'SOLO PROMO' means or see how overworked and mistreated he is by his own company.

-When TyongFs praise TY about anything, NCTzens always, ALWAYS insert their faves in the post. Like, go make your own post maybe???

Sure, Jan.

(Also, the thing where some Wayzennies are still not accepting that TY is the leader of whole of NCT, cuz Kun is WayV's leader..... Seriously, though its not that hard to understand. Kun IS and WILL remain the leader of WayV, a 7 member group. That's a fact. But when the subunits (127, Dream and WayV) come together for projects (ex: NCT 2018 and NCT 2020), Taeyong becomes the overall leader. But since these Wayzennies are still on their WayV not being part of NCT agenda, they're simply ignore this. Go figure.)

- Oh, but when some other member in NCT messes up, it suddenly becomes Taeyong's responsibility cuz 'HE'S THE LEADER'. Funny, how NCTzens change narratives quickly. Also, weird how, according to NCTzens, NCT members suddenly can't think for themselves even though they're grown adults and need Taeyong to take the blame for them. Haha.....

-Also, NCTzens guilt tripping TyongFs from canceling NCT Beyond Live tickets when they got to know that he was injured and wont be participating in the concert a little too late, cuz "Taeyong, as a leader, would be sooo upseeet that his group wont be getting TyongFs' money and he'd feel sooo guiltyyy that y'all are getting refunds of your OWN money that YOU CHOSE to spent and its not my business at all. -NCTzens blaming Taeyong for NCT's slow rise to fame because of the false rumors/allegations pinned on him by nasty people. They say Taeyong was the sole reason for NCT not being liked by many, not because of their confusing/complicated concept or the music. Yeah, you heard me. NCTzens are not above victim blaming and pointing fingers, cuz they are not ready to accept the fact that Taeyong was the one who carried the group on his back all the way.

-And how they can't stand the fact that TY gets praised by proffesionals or non-fans or locals. A dance analyzer analyzed 127's Kick It and at the end stated that Taeyong was the best dancer in 127. And what did NCTzens do. They bullied the analyzer to the point that they deleted the video, just cuz their fave was not named the best. A reactor reacts to Taeyong's Long Flight and the comments on the videos are along the lines of 'Hey, MY FAVE'S also has a solo song too. You should definitely react to that' or when they're tryna be subtle (but not really), they go 'Taeyong is soo good but you should also check out MY FAVE'S blah blah blah'

Hell, even when TyongFs say 'Taeyong is very so creative, by coming up with BDLI Jungle Gym concept and the MAW chandelier thing. He's literally an Idea Bank', and NCTzens go 'All the Neos are idea banks' in the same post.

Lmao, just 3 days ago, someone commented 'Taeyong is cute' under a tiktok video and an NCTzen just couldn't help but fume about it and went 'All Neos are cute'🙄

Like seriously, this is sooo annoying. Make your own goddamn post about the rest of NCT, ffs! Why do you to insert anyone else in a Taeyong tweet? Literally, can't let Taeyong have a moment for himself.

-Recently, Taeyong released 2 solo demo tracks on SoundCloud- Dark Clouds and Dark Clouds Remix (check it out here: https://soundcloud.com/eh_ovo_taeyong). And NCTzens being NCTzens started those who never even promoted Kun's SoundCloud before started promoting it under every TY tweet on the same day. Now, i don't have a problem with them promoting Kun's SC. But they could've done it any other day or made their own tweet about it. But doing it under every TY promo tweet and on the very same day? Really??? And some of them had the audacity to say that TY was getting free clout from Kun cuz Kun followed him on SC.....😑😑😑

-NCTzens have this weird belief that TY is getting solo promos and is being pushed by SM. What on earth are they talking about? Taeyong being center, main rapper and main dancer of the group is not solo promo. Him being in SuperM is not solo promo. Him opening Instagram and SoundCloud is not solo promo, but self promo- which means HE'S promoting himself, not SM. Solo promo is usually provided to the artist by the company in the form of photoshoots, accepting brand deals, releasing the artist's solo music etc and SM isnt doing sh*t for Taeyong. All they're doing is overworking him and milking him for money. That's it. And i want NCTzens to understand that.

And the list goes on and on and on. This weird hate boner NCTzens have for Taeyong is so bizarre to me. All Taeyong does is sing, rap, dance, talk cutely, take care of his fishes and play games with Baekhyun. And this somehow gets NCTzens mad. They constantly discredit him, try to make him seem less than what he actually is, insert everyone else when someone is talking just about him, make him seem like a villain by twisting his words or actions and making it into a big deal.... *sigh* Its so unbelievable how low NCTzens can stoop. And it gets tiring real quick.
