PIRATE/SIREN AU SO REAL

I've decided to name it the Silent Shanty AU!!!

In this AU Y/N was a siren who became fascinated with the human world and decided to leave the ocean depths to become a sailor and see the world. Eventually they were discovered to be a siren and was captured, sold, and traded countless times over. Often treated like a wild beast and typically mistreated.

Sun and Moon saved Y/N from being sold again in a black market auction, intending to rescue a mythical beast only to find a shaken up human instead. Upon being rescued by Sun and Moon they remain silent so they can never be accused of using their siren song against anyone.

Sun and Moon are completely unaware Y/N is a siren and just think they're a normal human who has come to somehow make their home with them and their crew.

Until Eclipse makes himself present and causes all kinds of trouble insisting they swooped in and stole Y/N out from under him. That they interrupted HIS rescue attempt. So he makes himself and ever present nuisance to Sun and Moon, constantly attempt to Woo Y/N so they'll join HIS crew instead

I spent. 6 hours on this. AND I HAVEN’T EVEN COLOURED IT. But! I finally have a watermark! Anyway... PIRATE SUN!!!! PIRATE SUN!!!!!! I've been obsessed with making a pirate Sun since before I got my drawing tablet because of a Pirate Sun on Character.ai.

ah yes welcome to the crew my child . May I offer you the main cast

firstly we have the main character (y/n) a marine biologist who's just a little wet cat. They just wanna observe the pretty fishies but the plot has other plans for them :(

secondly we have our amazing captain eclipse :) he's got everything under control everything is fine, everything. is . just. ✨FINE✨

thirdly we have co-captain moon , feral creature with severe trust issues

and lastly we have our sunshine co-captain sun. He's always so happy and cheerful, such a great fella to be around, nothing wrong here nope :3

I also want to develop the story of this AU. Some facts and a short lore because I am not a fic writer...(I actually admire writers. They can make you cry from happiness and also punch you in a gut by some words. What a power ...😔)

a silly fluffy/romantic bunch of doodles from a stream the other night. i made up the lore on selkie marriage on the spot, but it's now canon in the seamonster/selkie aus that some selkies refer to being married as being 'for forever' (as in together forever). and it's also now canon that Pirate Eclipse has a big fur-lined coat that he wears whenever meeting other ships and Seamonster Reader gets flustered every time bc it's him blatantly showing off that he is their Husband and he is Extremely Proud Of This and he can and will make it 90% of his personality

Hi party peoplee!! I was looking back at the Pirate AU and I wanted to draw art for it again!

(I don't just forget AUs when I'm done with them dw)

One of my biggest regrets of the Pirate AU was that I didn't get creative enough with the outfits because I was trying to base them off the canon poster, so this time I had a little fun with them~

I'm sorry Daisy wasn't in the story, I made it before I made her, and I really tried but I couldn't fit her in

I've had a few people ask me what inspired this AU and I'll be honest, I got the idea when my family made me go to Disneyland and I went on the Pirates of the Carribean ride lol-
