This is the cover for the third book in the new interactive series. Just Monty busting through a door. Wasn't expecting anything mind blowing to begin with anyway. But damn does Monty have red in his eye.
While the cover isn't anything spectacular. The story is on the other hand. We'll be Cassie trying to escape the Pizzaplex. Some say this is a retcon, but I don't think so. By the time of RUIN Cassie would assume all the security guards and animatronics would be gone from the Pizzaplex. Plus, there's the juicy lore we'll find while trying to escape the Pizzaplex.

Meet the M.O.E's three longest residents!
☆ Glamrock Circus Baby
★ Glamrock Balloea
☆ Glamrock Foxy
they were the original three within the VR scape and thus the oldest or it.

Here is an idea for a SCP choose-your-own-adventure style book. The plot is quite standard, the protagonist is a D-class or a site guard, and there is a breach. They (I'm imagining the nameless gender neutral main character trope) are need to survive the breach or even stop it, and how that goes depend on the player's choices.
A few pages can be them meeting various famous SCP, like SCP-049 or SCP-035. But I would also like them to meet less known SCPs, leaving half of the readers say "what...", and half of the readers saying "Oooh it's SCP-1498, the sheep thing with a telephone head!"
A few routes will lead to the main character entering various extra dimensional SCPs, such as SCP-354(The Red Lake), SCP-2264 (In the Court of Alagadda), The Wanderers' Library, or any other nightmare dimension, really. If the first book does well, there would even be a follow-up book/spin-off that continues from one of these endings.
There was to be at least 10 endings were the main character dies in horrible ways. There is also one ending that is like, "go to page 1", implying that the main character is stuck in a time loop that is this book. There is one ending where they wake up and it was jus a dream, just for the breach alarm to go off. The happy ending is still bittersweet, because the main character survive but someone they cares for didn't.
Now there is just a teeny tiiiny little problem. someone has to actually spend time to make such a book, and I can't draw.

Oh, here's a couple things I got for Christmas:
Tumblr media
Very much third-party Godzilla advent calendar stuff, the little figures look oh so goofy, but I love them anyway XD. The acrylic ones are pretty cool, but they're supposed to be charms, and only three of them have a hole for the string to go through :/
Tumblr media
And the other two that I forgot to put in frame. I'm pretty sure the green one is from an old Godzilla game? I think it's Super Godzilla? I could be wrong, but I remember it from a video about all the old retro Godzilla Games. Kinda neat!
Tumblr media
And! The first 20 My Hero Academia manga!! I love the show(I have yet to catch up with the newer seasons, I left off at the end of Overhaul's arc), and despite how I hear people think of the ending of the manga, I'm looking forward to reading these.

Return to the Pit
Tumblr media
Ok as much as I love Freddy's cover on the first book, but this one I find more scary and more unnerving I love this cover. This book was a nice surprise. I can't wait to read it.

Five Nights at Freddy's: VIP
Tumblr media
Get ready for an all-new Five Nights at Freddy's experience! You the reader are Devon, and you've won VIP passes to the hottest place in town – Freddy Fazbear's Mega Pizzaplex. These all-you-can-eat, all-expenses-paid tickets are guided by digital companion "Very Informative Pig" and are every kid's dream. But does your VIP host have something more sinister in mind? With multiple endings and two difficulty settings, this one-of-a-kind, free eBook is a uniquely entertaining experience for any Freddy fan!!!
Now this sounds exciting! Not only will this story be free, but it will take place in the Mega Pizzaplex! Out of all the locations that were and will be introduced in the franchise. The Pizzaplex is my favorite. So, I'm glad we will be going back to it.

I started reading Five Nights at Freddy's: The Week Before, and as you can see, I'm being very normal about it.
I've avoided as many spoilers as possible so I can experience the lore hunting on my own for once. Never been as deep into the fandom during a book release before. The pages on the right are my notes while reading, whatever I think might be important to the worldbuilding or mysteries or just interesting minutia like how the restaurant is run. These were the notes after getting through Night 2. I've finished Night 3 by now (so please no spoilers beyond that), so there's a bit more.
The page on the left is where I'm recording my "official" playthrough. It's an "interactive novel" (because Choose Your Own Adventure is off-limits), and the way I'm reading it is by committing to one route each night and playing it to the end or until I die and have to get back to the last branching decision. And then when the night is over, I go back and read the branches I didn't take. (Except for the Bonus Item route. I've heard it's best to leave that until the very end.) The inventory is only items I pick up in the official playthrough (I probably didn't have to cross out screwdriver and paperclip after I used them, whoops), and I'm only recording Game Overs I reach organically (there are more of those now, too).
It's a lot of fun. This was a smart way to present new information and provide some different gameplay experience. I've never been able to play the video games when they actually come out, so it's nice to have a way to discover things firsthand and not have to rely on watching other people's videos. And since there are so many diverging points, there's still the question of which version of the story actually happened (if this is indeed canon to the games' timeline instead of it's own slightly-to-the-left continuity) and what information we can actually trust. Maybe it's Stockholm Syndrome talking at this point, but a straight answer wouldn't be quite as much fun.
There are some WILD implications if it's even adjacent to the games' timeline though. Like, at this point it really seems like a night guard's actual purpose is to keep the animatronics in the building than to keep anyone out. The idea that they would just up and fucking leave if they had a means to honestly never occurred to me (or at least it would have died off quickly after the earliest games), but apparently they will do exactly that. And it's largely been accepted that at least the original Fazbear four weren't malicious toward children (The Silver Eyes said as much and I think one of the games did, too), but in this story they're straight-up obliterating kids if given the chance.
Good shit. Excited to read the second half.

Funfact about my AU:
Tumblr media
During the power divergence cycle the Plex goes through each hour, none of the VR variations have any realization of it. The VR scape just sort of... ceases to exist? Or pauses during that time. After the power returns, everyone continues on as if nothing happened.
Well... that was kinda a lie....
