SPM is... weird

Ok I am back. SPM had a neat storyline, it was kind of out of nowhere for a mario game but still neat, the aesthetics are good, the new characters are good etc whatever you get the point. The gameplay itself is ok but I feel it leaves much to be desired as it’s kind of a big step down from say how you fight enemies in other paper mario games. I felt this a lot in the last chapter of the game where there’s not only a lot of enemies but the level design is incredibly dull. Also I don’t really like the cynical tone of the game, sometimes it’s played to the point where it gets obnoxious and it’s like “ok i get it this is a funny part of the game, can i continue now”. Now that I think about it there’s also quite a bit of side content in this game for a paper mario which is good. Sorry to all the SPM likers but this game gets a big fat “it ok i guess”

Large Wyverns related to Espinas, they use their keen sense of hearing and smell to locate prey, they are partially blind, being able to distinguish between light and dark, and some shapes when close. Their horn is their primary form of "sight" as it has many electroreceptors
