#basically what happened #i woke up to see the breaking news in my inbox #felt sick for 0.2 seconds thinking of the dictatorship and all the times that korea #used its military against its people #this wasn't that long ago! immediately wondered how my parents would feel #and then got sidetracked all day only to log in and find out the coup failed LMAOOOOO #so we just turned on the korean news on yt and loudly went 'WHAT AN ABSOLUTE MORON' without worrying #he should have been forced out of office 0.01 seconds after being elected #but MAN FINALLY!!!!! impeachment process let's go!#why would you ever think this would fly in a country that remembers the dictatorship (it happened in the '80s! SO many people remember it)#and all the trauma associated with the past several decades of authoritarian rule and military/state violence #is no longer the same country it was back then #and ousted the last president who was unhinged and idiotic (park geunhye) 7-8 years ago #because ONE THIRD OF THE WHOLE COUNTRY (16-17 million people) PROTESTED IN THE STREETS and broke records for protest numbers #we didn't even have time to check in on everyone we knew because it was over before we knew it #dying because my friend told me 개새끼 is trending hfasldfjsakfja #okay time to delve into all the fun posts about this

#ask #evildoctorsex #it took me like three tries and one crash to make this #i didnt have any ceiling fan models in gmod 12 so i had to make one from scratch with planes #also i recorded this at .4 timescale just so i could get a good enough gif. then i had to halve the frames a few times to shrink the file #also i gave most of breen non-gravity so he wouldnt drag across the ground as much #and i had a turret out of frame that id trigger to break the table since i didnt think hed break it on his own #i was also afraid he would fly over it but thankfully he hit the ground just in time for me to press the turret key #i accidentally made the winch longer in the first second of the recording since i forgot which key did what #anyway hiiii hana :)#ik you wont see this until tomorrow but i hope you liked the effort this took me to make #i had to also put gmod in the lowest resolution which was very funny to witness #can you get me down now? please? please? the fans only getting faster okay?#thank you for the ask hana :) >:)

I'm babysitting so I'm playing SMB Wii instead of studying but now I'm trying to beat the world record speed run for bowsers castle which is 2 mins and like 50 something seconds and I'm at 3 mins 4 seconds I want to be the best at this

#text #flying makes you slower you just have to brute force run ur way thru #cuz u fall slower when u fly so even tho you can skip most the obstacles faster you still lose more time trying to get down #but the propeller suit makes bowsers fake fight a lot faster because you can just fly over him #so the fastest way would be to run thru with a propeller suit without getting hit a single time #which is very hard #even tho i used to play this level like everyday all day because i wanted bragging rights #my dumb 9 year old self thought beating bowsers castle fast was the coolest thing you could do #and now 10 years later i think the same thing #i'll keep you updated #i prob won't like record ky screen and actually submit my run but if i can have my sister time me while i win I'll be happy #it's like a party trick but for nerds #no i can't shotgun a beer but i can beat bowsers castle in under 2 minutes do you want me

#first suggestion: put a flying cow in what the fuck is wrong with you it's a twister movie #no fr i keep chewing this over and getting more annoyed by it bc the movie could've been EXCELLENT with just a little tweaking #to give the main characters some genuine conflict that actually involves them #random twisters landing are external they don't count #like. what if kate's mother's farm was struggling and she was uninsured #what if the inciting incident wasn't that weird ass voice mail but something important and personal to kate instead of a favour #what if kate has a revulsion to tyler recording bc that's what her boyfriend used to do before he got henry hoovered into the abyss #going hard after kate here but you could do this with pretty much every character #babe if you wanted to do a man vs nature film go ahead but say something with it you know???#i'm not asking for much i'm a diehard fan of the fast and the furious franchise for god's sake. my bar is on the floor.#just. please give me some stakes that deepen and connect the characters. please. i'm under your table begging for scraps.#twisters spoilers #twisters

Do you collect vinyl? What are your favourite records that you own?

I DO and so many! I have hundreds and I got rid of like a third of my collection a few years ago so the result is that everything I still have is something I actually really want. It's funny I just moved all of them from one place to another like 2 hours ago (not a common occurrence) so I was looking at some random ones on the way like ooh hey you... oh and that, and this! But for us I'll go with a few that will ping for people here, which are number one the Louis Just Hold On rock version single with lyrics etched in the B side which was not sold in the US and it was SUCH A HASSLE to get without paying a million dollars for it but I CHERISH IT (even though it's not that great a recording of the song :/) and the hot pink 2LP Icarus Falls, that album is so dear to me and I wanted to own a physical copy of it so bad but it didn't come out on vinyl at release but then randomly years later it did?!? It's beautiful and it's the way the album is supposed to be with the two halves separated, perfect, listening to just the Falls half is transcendent honestly. Also the Sign of the Times single, and signed Walls, but I will forever regret not getting the Lights Up single I want it so bad :(

#they way I finally got the JHO single: bought a bundle of a bunch of stuff including it from australia for like $200 #then resold the other things in the bundle (shirt picture disc other versions of walls I forget what all...)#but kept that. it worked out. but the distance it all traveled! the records all flying back and forth all over the world! the ts of records #if anyone wants to trade me smth for a lights up single I got stuff!!!! I would do it!#why and how do you own so MANY records bander you may ask no I'm not wealthy #I'm just old and an ex punk so I've been getting everything on vinyl and being nerdy about records since I started owning any music at all
