Toyota Corolla Rumion Hana Sha, 2016. Presented at the Tokyo Auto Salon 8 years ago, a flower covered hatchback wedding car (hana = flower in Japanese) with a decorative tulle on the hood. The Corolla Rumion was the Japanese version of the Scion xB. The Hana Sha has no rear doors to ease entry and exit of the bride

1962 Cadillac Fleetwood Flower Car

This wonderful example of what is colloquially known as a “swamp car” sports a delightful amount of patina, as well as a surprisingly well preserved interior considering the rate at which this vehicle is becoming one with the environment. Asking price $5000.

One should note the especially interesting curved rear glass, which seems to be in wonderful condition from what is visible in the photos.

The vinyl top requires some restoration, as does the entirety of the car form a cosmetic standpoint.

Lithuanian artist Severija Incirauskaite-Kriauneviciene applies floral and decorative patterns to unconventional objects. Instead of going for fabric, she sews cross-stitch patterns onto metal buckets, utensils, and car doors. Each chosen canvas is an attempt to subvert traditional embroidery culture, which is often associated with sweetness and sentimentality. Here, the hard edges and rusty metal balance the cozy appeal of stitched thread.

Datsun Bluebird 1200 Deluxe "Flower Car", 1960. The 310 was the original Bluebird series. As part of the launch in the Spring of 1960 this car was driven around Japan. The body is adorned with the emblems and autographs of the governors of prefectures it visited.
