More #work_in_progress on the #bandai #macrossfrontier #valkyrie VF-29 Durandal #sherylnome marking version. Close to finish cleaning off the #florymodels panel line wash. And have been presently suprised how it has taken. All the panel lines are nice and visible. Even on the darker intermediate blue. The next step is to add 2 gloss coats before adding the Sheryl Nome stickers. Going to be fun bringing out the panel lines though them. Still have to figure it out for future builds like this. Only complaint about them would be that you have to nearly get them correct the first time. But like most things i think they get easier the more you do. Still got the panel line's to show through this lot. So it shows that it is possible. Scale Model World 2019

Scale Model World 2019 was amazing. We were lucky enough to go for the whole weekend, catch up with lots of friends and contacts in the community. Even in 2 days we couldn’t see everything there was to see, we missed models, groups, and stalls. I think even if it became a four day event we would still be seeing new things in other people’s videos.

This is for @cartilaginouspen I usually like to do a few tests with some of the supplies I get. And sometimes I'll find a cheap figure at one our local thrift shops. And bring out the hidden details in them. This one was a father's day gift. I have gloss coated it then have used #florymodels black wash over it. And cleaned it up . And the details came out. Not bad for 5 dollar #figure . I still need to do one last clear coat, and make up the base. More #work_in_progress on the #bandai #highgrade #perfectstrike I had a small window where I could paint the final matte coat on these parts. Am happy with how it's going. The #realgrade markings just add to it. Made one of normal Airlie Strike years ago. Still a nice little kit. One engine done, another half way. Eduard has done a pretty good job with them... just to be completely covered by the fuselage at the next step. Not option given to show it, so one has to decide to follow the instructions and cover it or scratch build the hatch somehow to make it visible. Rust and metal effects done with @officialflorymodels washes and @Tamiya panel line wash. 1/35 Meng Cougar 6x6 MRAP vehicle is complete. It comes in a little diorama with Meng U.S explosive ordnance disposal specialists and a generic U.S soldier. Paints are from Vallejo, Tamiya and Italeri. Washes are from Flory Models and Vallejo. It has been real fun building it and it has had its challenges too. Hope you enjoy the photos.
