talking to kevin about notn and beastclans and had an interesting discussion! basically, during the season of the nocturne, it's canon that nocturnes essentially drop their eggs everywhere, right?

well suppose where you see a high nocturne population, you're likely to see a high beastclan population. they share the same housing and whatnot, and beastclans are often known to raise nocturne hatchlings and teach them about the world around them. sure, yes, standard dragon lairs do collect the eggs, but i highly doubt they're the only ones aware of the season.

over time, beastclans dedicate some amount of resources and members to the season where nocturne eggs are dropped. mentors dedicated to teaching and raising nocturne hatchlings, and doctors showing them how to care for themselves when they inevitably leave.

it can be a thankless task, sometimes, depending on the temperament of the nocturne. sometimes the beastclan will never see the hatchlings they raised again once they leave.

but not always. not always. sometimes they return to visit. rarely, they'll never leave the clan. such cases are always welcomed and celebrated.

Su's NOTN strategy:

Use the event as a chance to level a coli team to 25. Set 1 level per day as a goal and a limit.

Half of all eggs I find, I sell (either now or later). The other half, I keep to hatch.
