There's something that has been on my mind for weeks. Like, you don't understand that this thing is doing like turns in my brain-

I know, I know artists always draw Dick with these big muscles and all that, not to the point of Jason and Batman, but still, the guy is just big.

And I love it, don't get me wrong-

But in my mind, Dick's physique is more like someone who does calisthenics.

Like, yeah, he has muscles, like, A LOT, but they're definitely not as visible as, idk, he puts on a t-shirt and you're going to see every muscle marked in the fabric, you know what I'm saying?

And I feel like he's also more of the type where if he has relatively baggy clothes you're not even going to think he has a lot of muscles, and all of a sudden he flexes his arms and then "oh my God where did those come from????"

As, this partly helps to hide his identity. Like Dick Grayson, he wears baggy clothes, so you'll never see his muscles, but Nightwing's suit is made so that the muscles are actually more visible, so at first glance it doesn't even seem like "they" have the same physical build.

I always find it impossible to imagine how someone with so much muscle could be so flexible, and well, I'm a fan of people who do calisthenics, and I just feel like this fits Dick and his fighting ways perfectly, he is agile, fast and yet extremely strong; and all that gymnastics things...

It just makes sense, u know?

Edit: I'm NOT saying he would be skinny without defined muscles, ever. I'm just saying that I don't see Dick as built as Jason or Bruce- especially since looking at the bodies of male acrobats, they are not as big as gymnasts, and although Dick probably ended up learning both sports, he is an acrobat first.
