But one has to imagine Sisyphus being happy, right?’ The next panel shows Romina cosplaying as Asuka from Neon Genesis Evangelion. Her face is scrunched up, and her eyes are squeezed shut. The text reads, ‘Months passed, and I was doing more and more female cosplays. I felt more confident and comfortable with my femininity, so I decided to cosplay as my favorite character.’ Text from Romina’s head says, ‘I think Im ready. Please don’t suck. Asuka was one of the characters who inspired me to start cosplay, and facing failure here would be devastating.’ The next panel shows Romina with her eyes open. Ich liege wach. Manchmal tagelang. Es ist nichts direkt. Niemand schreit mich an oder übt Druck auf mich aus. Es ist einfach diese Gefühl, was immer da war und anscheinend auch niemals gehen wird. Ein ziehen in der Brust, ein flauer Magen, wackelige Beine und ein Nebel im Kopf der sich nicht lichten will.

Il primo ufficiale Spock mi guarda con aria di scetticismo imputando il successo alla bottiglia di birra e al bicchiere di vino rosso, ingurgitati mentre mi dimenavo a ritmo di beat sulla musica del re Tony Borlotti e i suoi The Flauers.

Buon che sia in ogni caso vado a farmi un caffè ridacchiando e agitando le braccia a ritmo di Superdonna 😜
