I read the book before watching the films, I guess I wasn't expecting either movie to be perfect but I liked the longer one. It felt slightly more accurate to the world. I don't see how people can say that it completely missed the point. Plus A Sphere is such a fun character I love him. He's completely different to the Sphere from the book and Spherius. I personally like to think of them as all separate characters in the same universe with their own students and style of teaching cause that's fun. Spherius and A Sphere rivalry is especially fun.
