She was going to kill him. One way or another, she was going to either strangle him with the bed sheet or she was going to smother him with his own pillow. Pressing her feet to his back, she pushed, not hard enough to hurt, but enough to get his attention. “Wallace Rudolph West,” she started with annoyance, “move your ass over from the middle of the bed.”

“‘m comfy,” he muttered, tugging the bed-sheet higher to his ear. “Move later.”

“No, you ass,” she griped. “You’ll move now. This is my bed too and you are not sleeping in the middle of the bed again. Goddamnit, I want my side back.”

“We’re married,” Wally countered. “What’s yours is mine and what’s mine is yours.”

“That is not how that works.” She shoved again, watching as his body wiggled like a sad slug back and forth. “Wallyyyyy,” she whined. “Moooooooooooove!”

“Noooooooooooo,” he whined back.

“My ass is literally hanging off this bed!” she hissed. “Move. Or I swear to God, I’ll kung-fu kick you off the other side.”

Wally rolled over and cracked an eye open, a challenge in his glare as he retorted, “I’d like to see you try.”

She cocked a brow and shuffled up to him, pressing their chests together and she asked, “Was that a dare?”

“You know it,” Wally answered with a smirk and before he could even react, she brought her knee up into his groin. He let out a sharp gasp and shoved away from her, turning over as he cupped himself.

With his back to her and him near the edge, she put her feet on his bare back and this time, shoved with all her might and cackled as Wally went over the side and hit the floor with a loud thunk. He let out a long groan and she harrumphed, curling up in the sheets in the center of the bed.

“Never dare a Queen, darling,” she said. “She never lets others make a fool of her.”

For a moment, it was quiet, then the world was spinning around her, and she let out a screech as she fell, back connecting with cushions, then a flash of blue lightning left her; she took in her surroundings, the living room and couch underneath her.

She let out a cry of anger. “WALLY! YOU ASS!”

“YOU KICKED ME IN THE CROTCH! YOU’RE ON THE COUCH TONIGHT!”

“I THINK THE FUCK NOT!” she shouted in return, hauling off the couch and sprinting back towards their bedroom; she swung open the door and bellowed as she launched herself at him, Wally’s evergreen eyes wide as she jumped and started coming down on him.

He moved faster than lightning, snatching her out of the air and wrapped her up in the blankets, arms and legs tight around her and she blinked in confusion. “What the fuck just happened?”

Wally kissed her cheek and pulled the blankets to their chins. “The Flash just happened.”

“This does not excuse you.”

“Meh…deal with it in the morning. Time to go to sleep.” He nuzzled her cheek. “I love you baby.”

She rolled her eyes and shifted a bit, turning into his chest. “I love you…you ass.”

Even though schedules of teenage superheroes are completely filled up with different activities, you, Bart and the other members of the team had a few days off since new year was just around the corner and all of you needed some well deserved rest. But dating one of the speedsters doesn't necessarily mean, that you can spend your leisure time taking a nap or watching a movie. Being Bart's partner means that you have to find some other interesting activities that actually involve both of you being active. And what better winter activity there is than going out to an ice rink? At least it seemed to be a good one.

"Bart is gonna go crazy when you tell him about it! Although it might be hard for him to stop himself from using his high speed on ice," said Jamie, who came for a little talk accompanied by a cup of warm beverage.

"I know right? But for once it would be safer for mankind not to experience his abilities. Including myself and ginger himself," you said with a light chuckle.

"Still, I think it's worth the risk. I'm gonna ask him if he wants to go with me," you said, tightening your grip around a Christmassy cup with hot tea - the one you bought last year with Bart.

"You have some really tasty teas out there friend, but I gotta go now. Presents won't wrap themselves."

"Sure thing, thanks for stopping by." Jaimie and you went to the corridor of your and Bart's shared apartment, he put on his outdoor clothes and gave you a quick hug.

"We'll see each other at a Christmas party right?" He asked before leaving.

"Yes of course."

"Okay then, bye bye for now el buen amigo,"

"Bye bye, have a good day!"

Around 20 minutes later your boyfriend came back home with at least 5 bags full of groceries in his hands.

"Hi babe," Bart said with a cheeky smile as you went to take some bags from him. When you got closer to him he bent down slightly to kiss your forehead.

"Hey hey," you responded, giving him a smile and taking the biggest bag from him. You took it with both of your hands because your partner went a little overboard with your food necessities. Bart took of his shoes and followed you to the kitchen.

Both of you placed the bags on a table and started to unpack them. "I was wondering if you'd like to go to the ice rink with me? Pretty sure you never went to one before". You turned around to see Bart's reaction.

He also turned around and his sparkly green eyes met yours. He pretended to think deeply about your idea.

"Oh come on, I know you too well!" you said, trying to fit into his childish performance.

"'Course love," he laughed at your good reaction. He then closed the cabinet where he was placing the products and went to wrap his arms around your waist. He snuggled his face into the crouch of your neck. You could feel a slight shiver going down your spine.

"Great. But please slow down there, pretty sure Dick might kill us if we end up in a hospital."

"The last thing that we want to hear on Christmas is Dick scolding us. No worries." Bart said laughing at a thought of angry Dick. He then put his chin back on your shoulder and swayed both of you side to side. You two enjoyed your cute moment for a little while longer before going back to your responsibilities.

On the next day, after eating a proper dinner you got ready for your adventure. You put on some comfy clothes, including soft knee socks and also hats, scarves and gloves. After that you headed out to the ice rink.

It was a very nice day. The sun was shining brightly recompensing the chilly air. The two of you were walking with your hand intertwined, swinging back and forth. Bart's gaze was focused on things ahead of him, but from time to time he would turn a bit to look at your face. Your walk was much longer than you expected it to be so you ended up getting a bit cold. Because of that your makeupless face started to get flushed. Bart noticed that and smiled, trying to cover it by hiding his face in his slightly loose scarf.

"What's so funny?" You asked him with genuine curiosity.

"Nothing," he said as he looked at his feet, still smiling.

Little things like a blush on girl's cheeks can make boy's heart flutter. Even if that boy is a hero from the future.

Your father looks back at you, a smile on his lips, “Those boys are eating me out of house and home. Costco is going to put us on some sort of watch list with how often we’ve been coming and going.” 

You smile and place a kiss on his cheek, “Thanks for putting up with us, Dad. It means a lot to Barry and me.” 

“It’s no problem. Really. I enjoy the company, especially since your mom’s out of town.” 

You can see the loneliness in his eyes. Your mother had been traveling a lot for work lately, running the family business. Add in the fact that you and Barry lived on the other side of the country, both worked, and took care of two speed demons and you’d been a little lax on the visiting. You give him an extra big hug before you start on the grocery list. 

You neck deep in the pantry when you hear Bart ask, “Hey, have you seen the..? Oh. We’re out of Lucky Charms.” 

You glance back at your grandson from the future, and give him the “look.” He stumbles back, “Sorry Gran.” 

Your eye twitches. You’re not even out of your twenties yet! You let it go as Bart zooms away, and look at your father who’s trying not to laugh. 

“Not one word old man.” 

He lets the laughter out, “You knew what you were doing when you married a superhero. Really, you should have expected time travel.” 

You hear Wally and Bart arguing in the den, “Hey! I was gonna eat that!” 

“You snooze you loose Kid Flash.” 

“Get back here you little . . .”

You watch as Wally and Bart zoom by in an epic game of tag. Your father pulls you to the side so you don’t get run over, and a second later Barry arrives. Thirty minutes and two broken dishes later, you watch as your husband lectures his mini-me’s, and your father says, “Well, I’m certainly not bored when you all are around.”

You just smile and say, “Well, you knew what you were getting into when you invited us for a visit.”

Him having a crush on you:

- It’s obvious.

- So obvious that it actually hurts because you can see it, the Team can see it and for god’s sakes the flashfam can see it too.

- Bart naturally speaks fast and he always vibrates lightly but when he’s talking to you, you can literally see him phasing in and out. You have to keep him stopping him from talking because you’re worried he will actually vibrate out of existence.

- He tries to lurk around you like a lost puppy from the second you wake up to the second you go off to sleep, he’s always either in the same room as you or trying to have a conversation with you.

- Bart isn’t a very visible blusher on his cheeks but his ears can go as red as his suit if someone teases him about it. 

- There’s definitely a boys groupchat called Mission: Help Bart get Y/N - 15%. Whenever it progresses, Tim’s in charge of changing the percentage because he’s the least bias and isn’t actually aggressively telling Bart to confess.

- Dick found out by looking over Tim when he was on his phone one night before running off and telling Wally who decided to take Bart on a boy’s day out to help him actually get a date with you at all. By the end, Bart was certain that the females in the West-Allen family had all asked out the boys - including Artemis.

- Eventually, Bart had managed to ask you out on a date - though he did burn his hand due to leaving it on a boiling pan while he asked you - considering Bart had Cassie ask you about your favourite things to do, you ended up going to watch a 4D film together because Bart wanted to try it out and you liked the movie genre.

- Bart was freaking out through the whole thing - the only time he ever felt time stop was when you kissed his cheek to say goodbye at the end.

You dating him:

- HE’S SO CLINGY.

- Like he’s actually everywhere you are because he’s so confused??

- He questions nearly every day how the fates aligned to let him go back to the past and meet you - Bart knows about all the amazing things you do in the future but now he can literally see you grow and grow with you and he just loves that feeling.

- Bart loves to use his superspeed to kiss you and run off before you notice, he’ll go even faster so nobody can tell what he did except you because of the lingering feeling on your lips.

- This boy is a prank extraordinaire and you are NOT excused just because you’re dating him. Honest to God, he’ll probably recommend you to whoever he’s pranking with Garfield and Jaime because he can take the blame at the end and you won’t stay mad at him.

- Bart definitely loves it when you compliment him or mention how well he did in missions, it makes him feel needed and not another speedster who arrived before it was properly his time.

- Bart confides in you about his childhood on one night when he thought he or you would’ve died - it was more of a spur of a moment type of thing but he wants you to know how much you’ve impacted his life and how quickly his life turned upside down for the better when you and everybody else in his life appeared.

- Back to the fluff, he loves cuddling!! He won’t be afraid to do it anywhere and everywhere, he always koala hugs you when the Team decide to sit down for a movie.

- He also tells you all the stuff that happens in the future like Tim and Cassie getting together which causes you two to make remarks to them. 

- Tim catches on quick and threatens the both of you to stop or die.

- Fun fact: you don’t.

- Overall, Bart Allen having a crush on you and dating you is an experience and I would 10/10 recommend!!

• Having a fridge full of food constantly because being a speedster, he eats so much. This means going grocery shopping a lot.

"We may need to stock up, we're running low on food."

"What? The cupboards are half full."

"Exactly!"

• Being careful where you put paper work because Bart will just speed through and they go everywhere in the wind. As soon as he sees your brow, he's catching them midair and putting 'em back.

• Your place being mildly messy but it always gets cleaned in a flash thanks to Bart Allen and his super speed. It always leaves you with windswept hair and you just. Sigh.

• Getting kisses when you least expect it, like he'll appear out of nowhere, kiss you, and then disappear again. He always kisses you before a mission too, wherever you may be.

"Love ya babe, gotta go!"

"Wai-"

Speeds back in, kisses you again and is off to save the city.

• Having other members of the Flashfam over for dinner which you both attempt to prepare. First time you had Barry and Iris over they walked in to a food fight with you and Bart covered in desert batter giggling at each other.

"Aren't you glad I brought that pie over now Barry?" Iris just laughed and luckily came prepared.

Your dad adores you so much; you’re his baby girl

I’m going on a limb here and say that you’re the oldest of your siblings - Don and Dawn

So growing up with your family, you’re a mix of Barry and Iris - dorky, silly, stubborn and flirty when need be

You’re also a speedster and Barry is a really great mentor. An easily jealous one, Iris may add, because whenever Wally tries teaching you, your father has this pouty look on his face. Jay merely smiles and will personally mentor you when he wants to tease Barry. Of course, all these speedsters are your mentors; you’re a family

Whenever you need help, you know you can approach any of them for help. And if it involves you crying, someone needs some beating up to the future and back, of course not literally. Maybe literally. Just don’t tell Iris and Joan

He brings you to meet the other heroes a lot, especially Hal and Oliver/Dinah. They grow to love you and see you as their own baby girl, much to Barry’s displeasure

You become a sidekick to your dad as much as Wally is

Hal will teach you the ways of flirting but you never have the heart to tell him you are an expert in that area thanks to your mother

Dinah will bring you (and occasionally Iris and Dawn) for a girl’s night out which includes going to the mall, mani and pedi, etc with some ass-kicking at the end of the night. Iris will be just a happy and proud by-stander

You got to meet Roy when he was still under Oliver’s mentorship and you both hit it off well. You guys become great friends, partners-in-crime even. Not really in crime, maybe sometimes, but just harmless pranks

Wally is usually the victim of these pranks and it always ends with a cold shoulder from him but with some affections, he will forgive you. Roy, not so much

When Oliver and Roy fought, both of you drifted and you hang out more with Wally instead

But, Wally has the (teen) Titans and even if you are invited to it, you refused. So you spend these time with your siblings or doing your own gig

Your siblings love you and whatever tricks they pick up from you always end with Barry just sighing and Iris giving you a disapproval look

But you are there with a proud grin and it is hard to be mad at them considering how they’re always looking at you for approval of some sort

You are the best older sister they can ask for as you help them with homework, hero missions, heartaches and everything in between

Having your own gig - after blessings from your mother and a hesitant father - means racing across the country and the world

You are more involved with missions overseas as America itself has heroes stationed across the country so there is little work for you within the country

During these missions overseas, you will take your time - sometimes it’s good to slow down as advised by Iris - to explore the city and of course getting some souvenirs for your family. Gag gifts are usually given to Wally, he still keeps them though

You meet the outlaws once on a mission overseas. While they are fighting off some goons, you are there for sightseeing after a mission well-done the morning before

After defeating them and seeing you are the only one around other than them, Roy realise how familiar you look and call out to you

You run to him to hug him and in your excitement, you forget about your powers so Roy ends up with more bruises from you than the goons themselves

Jason link your speed to the Flash fam and take note that you are the girl he always see with Wally when he was Robin so it all click in his head on how you are Barry’s daughter

Kori, not so much

After a hug session with Roy which ends with his almost death, you introduce yourself to the other two and Kori take an instant liking to you. If Iris was there, she would say how it is a perk of being a West-Allen

Jason couldn’t care less but seeing his best friend being more hyped with you around, he does not mind you sticking around

He realise why later on when he sees you two crafting some weapon together. At that moment, he realised he made decision

You didn’t really stay with them but return home when the day ends. But you’ll always come back after finishing your mission the following day

When Roy and Kori hook up, you and Jason feel compelled to spend more time together and leave them be. So there are days where both of you will explore the city together

“And you didn’t invite me? I thought I was your best friend?”

“We shall leave them be Roy, I sense love brewing within them.”

“OOooOOoo. I get to be best man!”

Jason wish you stay overnight sometimes

When Wally is lost in the speed force and everyone forgot him, you too forgot about him. But, you always had this empty feeling in your chest whenever you work at Star Labs without him there

At attempts to get the empty feeling in your soul, you travel more often and that means spending more time with Jason

Roy is with the Titans and Kori with the Teen Titans so it only leaves you two

Jason didn’t mind and find your presence to be calming. You two always joke around and sometimes flirt with each other. Okay, maybe more than just sometimes

Jason is overprotective of you so whenever the people he’s dealing with are uncultured swines, he makes sure they will not be interacting with you

After missions, you two will spend the rest  of the day walking through the city and if it’s late, to the bar you will go

You can’t get drunk and Jason has a high tolerance for it but it’s funny seeing a dorky side to Jason when he does get drunk

So when you didn’t show up one day and the few days after that, he gets a bit lonely but he brushes it off since he has missions to do

So when all is done and over, he returns to Gotham and all he can think of is you. He tries filling his days by helping his family, he’d rather be beaten by the Joker again than admitting that, but when the nights get a bit too long for his liking with no criminals to beat up, his mind always wanders back to you and what you’re doing in his absence

Dick, being the ever-perceptive older brother, knows he has girl troubles so he messages you

And one silent night, you speed over to the clock tower in Gotham, and there you see Jason sitting with his favourite gargoyle

When he turns to find you instead of his brothers, he is taken aback but before he can say  anything, words tumble out of your mouth at the speed of light and he cannot understand a single thing

So he approaches you, put his hands on your shoulder and tell you to slow down which you did and repeat the whole thing and he understands that you have been spending those days with Wally after him getting out of the speed force

Hi! Thank you for sending in your request! Hope you find this enjoyable! I wanted this to be a fluffy piece so I hope I have achieved that! I have two more Jason pieces to post but I’ll do that later! 

Life at the Wayne-Allen household hasnever been the same not since your twin terrors learned how to walk, runaround, scream at the top of their lungs almost all the time and got more thanjust a fraction of Barry’s super speed, not necessarily in that order.

Said twin terrors are currentlyrunning around the backyard, occasionally using their super speed to one up theother (sometimes you regret letting Barry teach them how to control theirpowers), yelling at the top of their lungs. You hope your neighbors aren’tgoing to complain again – the last time they did, it took a lot of groveling andbaking desserts from your end.

“Barry, I need help!” You call outfor your husband from the front porch – he had been looking through some papersfrom work – as you stare at the blurs in the garden. If you don’t put a stop tothe boys right now, they were going to destroy the garden you have worked hardon! “Barry!” If you have to try and stop your boys on your own, you might aswell just start throwing your own tantrum right there and then.

Your husband flashes in front of you.“You called, babe?” Barry gives you a bright smile. Normally, on any otheroccasion, you would have loved and enjoyed seeing that bright smile of his butnot today. Today, it just reminded you too much of your twin terrors – the waythey smile is an exact copy of Barry’s! You wave your hands towards the directionof your sons.

Barry turns to follow your hands butfalters slightly before he squints his eyes. He glances at you, a sheepishsmile on his face. “Sorry, babe. I’m going to get them.” He leans forward topress a kiss on your cheek and when he pulls away, you see that cheeky smile onyour face and your eyes widen.

“Don’t say – “

“Be back in a flash.” Barry winks atthe same time you let out a groan, watching your husband disappear to run afteryour kids. Now that Daddy is involved intheir chasing games, the screaming grew louder and conversation ensues but theyare talking too fast for you to catch any of their conversations so instead yousimply walk back to the house, heading for the bathroom. The reason why youeven had that problem in the first place was because your boys had not wantedto take their baths and made you chase after them. The cheats!

When the tub is halfway filled withwater and bubbles, a breeze passes by you and your boys are deposited gently inthe bathtub. One has a pout on his face and the other is grinning widely.

“Hi mummy!” Your first born, Donnie, greets you, waving his handat you. “Daddy caught us!” He giggles as he begins to splash the water around.His twin, Leo, pouts at having their fun cut short before he begins to splashhis brother.

“Stop it! Mummy, tell Donnie to stop.”He whines and you simply laugh before catching Donnie’s hands in yours, causingthe latter to cackle at being caught again. He is such an energetic boy.

“Okay, how about we get the both ofyou cleaned up, alright? How does that sound?” You ask them, love and adorationlacing your voice as you stare at them. The twins are almost like Barry excepttheir hair colour – they have your hair colour instead.

Barry leans against the wall,watching you interact with the boys. It’s always endearing to see you talking andplaying around with your sons – Barry never thought he could even possibly fallmore in love with you but every single day, he finds more reason to fall inlove with you all over again.

Like right now: seeing the tired yet happy expression on yourface, teasing and joking around with your little sunshine warms his heartentirely and he lets out a pleased sigh before he decides to make his presenceknown, knowing the moment he had deposited his twins in the bathtub, all ofyour attention had gone to them.

“Having fun?” Barry kneels in front of the bathtub causing Donand Leo to clap their hands happily at their dad. Barry laughs when some of thewater hits him. You smile at him lovingly, leaning back to give some space forBarry to play with the boys.

“Come on – first one to get dressed gets to pick the story bookfor tonight!” Barry hasn’t even finish talking yet when your boys tripped overeach other in their haste to get to their rooms. Thankfully, Barry and you arestill in front of the bathtub so you wrap their towels around their bodies.Story nights are taken very seriously in this household!

You laugh when your twins wiggle out of your hold, screaming atthe top of their lungs (again!) about which books they get to choose. “WE READABOUT DINOSAURS YESTERDAY.” “I WANT ALIENS.” Yeah, these boys might even be thedeath of you.

“Come on, Mrs. Allen, we need to goand make sure the boys do not end up creating more havoc in their bedroom.”Barry pulls you up and you lean in to his embrace instantly, finally able torelax for just a few minutes. Having twins might be an amazing yet tiringexperience but having twins with super speed exhausts you at times. So havingthis moment of peace with Barry is wonderful.

Barry presses his lips atop yourhead, hugging you to him. He sways the both of you side to side gently. Heknows how hard it has been on you but nevertheless, he is proud at how eventhough the terror twins as you so lovingly call the causes trouble for you.

“I don’t think I say this enough but thankyou.” Barry tells you, squeezing you to his chest causing you to laugh as youwrap your own arms around his torso. “You are the best, Y/N!” 

However, your sweet, quiet moment is disturbed when you hear aloud crash and your boys shouting “HE DID IT. NO YOU DID IT." 

Barry laughs, pressing a kiss to your forehead. "Let’sgo.” You shake your head and pull yourself from his embrace. 

“Flash Dad and Flash Mum to the rescue!”

He was so hellbent on going out on patrol, limping with that still healing left femur, a broken clavicle, and a sprained wrist. It was almost pitiful, and she couldn’t help but shake her head as she walked in front of him and placed her hands on his chest, gently but firmly stopping him. “Wally,” she said. “You can’t go out like this.”

He tried to brush her off. “Barry is off world with the Justice League. I have to watch Central while he’s gone.”

“Wally, you’re injured. You shouldn’t even be up on your leg.”

“It’ll heal.”

She frowned and deftly slipped his ring off his finger when he tried to push her hand away. “You’re not going out tonight until you heal. I’ll call Kara and ask her to do some routine fly-by’s until you’re healed.”

Wally glared at her and held his hand out. “Give me my ring.”

“No,” she retorted. “I will not.”

“Give it back,” he stressed. “I have to go.”

“You don’t have to do anything!”

“I have to protect Central City!”

She grabbed Wally’s biceps and leaned close to him. “Wally, you don’t have to take on the world.” Searching his gaze, she murmured, “You’re a Speedster, Wally, but you’re still human. You have to take care of yourself.” Her frown deepened, “I, let alone Barry, wouldn’t want you to go out there injured and possibly get more injured.”

Reaching up, she cupped his cheek, “Wally, I love you. And I’m scared that if you go out in this condition, you’ll either end up worse, or something is going to happen that you won’t be able to stop.” Thumbing his cheekbone, she begged, “Please, stay home until you’re healed.”

Wally tried to look away but couldn’t fight the concern in her eyes and after a moment of internally fighting, he let out a sigh and lowered his head, starting to collapse into her. “Will you help me back to the bed?” he whispered. “I’m hurting.”

“Of course,” she replied softly, easing herself under his uninjured arm to wrap her own around his waist. “Do you want me to get the cooling blanket?”

“Please,” he said, hobbling along with her back to their bedroom. “I’m sorry,” he muttered. “I shouldn’t have been so stubborn.”

She smiled kindly and helped him back into the bed, covering him with the blankets before sitting beside him. “Wally West, if you weren’t stubborn, I wouldn’t be married to you.” Nuzzling her nose to his, she whispered, “Get some rest while I make you something to eat and drink, okay?”

Before she could pull away, he grabbed her wrist and plead, “Lay with me.”

“But the food—”

“I’ll heal better if you’re laying beside me.” He gazed at her with those big evergreen eyes, like a puppy and she let out a sigh, climbing under the covers next to him.

“Alright, but only for a little while. You need to eat something to keep your metabolism going.”

Wally nuzzled into her neck and inhaled her perfume. “I love you.”

“Love you too, Wally.”

Bart Allen’s problem was that he refused to take things slowly. He was always doing things as fast as he could.

You on the other hand, preferred to take your time. You were patient and observant and pretty much Bart’s opposite.

And that’s why it worked so damn well.

Bart walked with you, hand in hand across a bridge that stretched across a creek. He had been reluctant to go on a date with you to the park. It wasn’t that he didn’t like spending time with you, or even that it didn’t sound fun. But he preferred fast paced dates with rollercoasters and swimming and sightseeing. Despite all that, he couldn’t help but admire your love for your surroundings. How you loved the simple parts of life.

It was mid-autumn, and the weather in Central City had begun to be chilly, and the leaves on the trees had turned vibrant shades of orange and red.

Bart glanced over as he felt your hand slip from his. You stood up on the bottom support beam of the bridge and leaned slightly over the rail.

“Careful, babe,” Bart cautioned, placing his hands on your waist to keep you from falling into the still water.

“Yeah,” you acknowledged, distracted by the leaves falling into the water, creating ripples in the otherwise gentle creek.

Bart smiled as he watched you find beauty in even the smallest parts of your surroundings. It was like falling in love all over again.

Bart’s thoughts took over as he watched you, making sure you didn’t fall.

He thought about how different his future was from this vibrant world, and how he wanted to fight to give you the future you deserved. How he wanted you to have a world that was beautiful. A world where you could take your time and appreciate what was around you.

How maybe he was willing to slow down, if only for you.

Yeah. Falling in love was definitely worth slowing down for.
