Let’s all pause to celebrate the birthday of Maria Rosario Pilar Martinez Molina Baeza – better known as Spanish American flamenco guitarist, actress, singer, comedian, Las Vegas headliner, perennial “special guest star” on 1970s TV shows like The Brady Bunch Variety Hour, Donny & Marie, Love Boat and Fantasy Island, beloved kitsch icon and “Cuchi Cuchi Girl” Charo! Bear in mind the actual birth date of the birthday girl is shrouded in mystery. Charo’s Wikipedia page devotes an entire section to “Birth year controversy.” (Her Spanish birth certificate and passport state 13 March 1941, but weirdly her preferred “show biz birthday” is 15 January 1951 – so in theory we can celebrate Charo’s birthday twice a year!). Anyway, if you don’t follow her on Instagram already do yourself a favour - the woman is a joyous ray of sunshine! “Cuchi cuchi!” Pictured: pinup of Charo by Steve Schapiro, 1976.

Need help with tuning machines that don’t fit properly?
When you cannot just “drop them in” and must go custom. These are 18:1 ratio Oro Gold Grovers that presented an issue fitting requiring careful modification.

These were too small (holes) and needed to be enlarged. If radius is larger on your guitar than you’ll have to fill, dry, and then ream. If opposite you will have to make them larger patiently, carefully, and slowly, especially when getting close to fit. If you ignore this the domino effect will in fact probably ruin your guitar and waste your time.
This procedure was in fact carried out on a guitar that lies next to me when resting making a 5 in rotate as it’s very cold and they must be cared for.
The sounds they create are extremely important for an unknown reason that cannot be explained. This is why there was no room for error, at all.

Above: If your screw holes don’t line up [ABOVE] recycle sawdust/glue or whatever method you’re able to invent to fill old holes because they are too close and could split.
Patience and focus when straightening your six-in-line as well as the entire modification as it is extremely vital from the aesthetic perspective to the preservation of intonation. We’re almost there but not quite…
important: Take. Your. Time.

They sound great. “The resonant sustain is insane! How?” said Isa

Daily Instrument — Flamenco Guitar
The flamenco guitar is a Spanish fretted string instrument. It has 6 strings, held flat against the player's torso, plucked with each finger on the right hand, while fretted with the left. The style flamenco guitar players use to pluck is called toque. The flamenco guitar is similar to the classical guitar. The key differences between the two are the flamenco guitar’s lower action, thinner neck and thinner body. Flamenco guitars are made with the idea of fast and easy playing in mind, while the classical guitar is made around the idea of clearer tone.

Re:Zero season 2 soundtrack. I forgot how I wrote these cause I'm a lazy bitch who forgets things but anyways on to the review. As I believe I said before, Kenichiro Suehiro is a very talented composer, but his earlier works showed little to no uniqueness. Luckily, in the 4 years between this soundtrack and the previous, Suehiro clearly learned a lot and began adding his style to the music. If you've heard the Fire Force soundtrack, you'll recognize some of the parts in this one. Very full of percussion and brass. It seems like Suehiro was experimenting in this era because some of the songs are incredibly unique, either in.... uuuh... I forgot the word, or with unique instruments/sounds. (Let me open my notes, ah yes) A couple of the spookiest songs sounded very similar to the droning ambient spookiness that the Elden Ring soundtrack has. I was reminded of Limgrave and the many dungeons. I believe those parts tended to play during the scenes where they were in the trial or talking about the graveyard, though I don't remember. I also was occasionally reminded of the Attack On Titan soundtrack (one of my favorites). I wish I could remember WHAT part I was reminded of but I did my full listen quite a while ago and many things happened since then (I moved). One thing I DO distinctly remember is that... THERE'S FLAMENCO?!? When the hell did that play in the anime? Why is there Flamenco? Where is there Flamenco? Who is there Flamenco? Not that I'm complaining, Flamenco is a fucking awesome style of music that I really wish I would hear more. Oh also, it was casual? Like, chill Flamenco. Anyways, that's enough about that. Overall I had a lot more fun listening to this soundtrack than the previous season's and there were some really cool sounds so I'll give this like a 7.5. Some of the songs were still background filler type stuff which is kinda unavoidable but it's still not fun to listen to by itself. Okay bye bye <3

In your opinion: Prudencio Saez 1-FP
It’s got the hole works: Prudencio Saez 1 F-P Common knowledge You’ll find a guitar for almost every musical taste in the Prudencio Saez catalogue: classical, flamenco (blanca and negra), cutaway, Cuban tres, bandurria, lute and cutaway requinto. From professional to studio models. The luthiers at the Prudencio Saez workshop in Torrent, near Valencia must be very busy people indeed. But…
