I like how a lot fo your OCs/reader inserts are really interesting and dynamic. I feel like a good number of them could either kick my ass (like the one in New Rules) or shatter my heart in two seconds (like in JJMD) Those type of characters are always the most interesting to me and I love the way you write them!

Basically I have some question for you, of course if you don't mind answering. I'm sorry if some of them are too obvious, I new to this social network (I don't even have a tumblr account yet).

Do you need to ask the writers permission to recommend one of their works?

How is it that you find so many fics on tumblr? How do you search for them? How do you search for specific aus or pairings for example?

Do you have any piece of advice on how to get followers, on how to get people interested in reading what you recommend?

I hope this is not a bother, and that you can answer these questions publicly. If not, I totally understand. I wouldn't want you sharing top secret information 🤭 Thank you for your time and help 💓

I’m pretty sure you don't need permission to reblog or recommend fics. In fact I think I can say this for almost all writers: they welcome the recs and love!!! Sharing is caring in the fan fic world 🤩 this is also one way how writers gain traction - through word of mouth! So I'm absolutely all for reccing writer's works like crazy lol

As for finding fics, aside from the obvious (following 19392 writers), I follow a lot of nets like:

And sometimes I go through the explore page and just scroll down the "bts fanfic" tag or any other tags that fit my fancy at that moment. Like right now I've really been in the mood for some fluffy comforting jk fics 🥺 Also just going through writers’ blogs and see who they interact with helps me discover new people! There is a plethora of new and old content out there!! You just gotta look for it!🤩🤩💗 the effort is worth it I promise. ALSO AO3!!!! everything above was just tumblr related! but add ao3 (and wattpad if you read there) to the mix and you are literally swimming in fics wowowow

As for your last question, I didn't make this blog to gain followers so I can't help you there. I actually never expected anyone to follow me cause I just wanted a space to freely word vomit my love @ writers and freak out with fellow readers. I guess gradually people noticed my reblogs and fic rec compilations. And my blog went from a solo spazzing party to a spazzing party where everyone's invited lol

At the same time I get wanting followers. It gets lonely when you have no one to scream with when character A does something dumb or when character B is hopelessly pining after character A. Lol. If your intention is to interact with those who follow your fic rec blog uumm idk I guess my advice would be to show your enthusiasm for the fic in question and ask people to cri with you? lol I got nothin’ else cause even I don’t know

It also helps to befriend other people who are just as crazy into reading fics as you are! I know I've befriended at least 4 wonderful people through my fic recs blog and I love love love spazzing with them over fics and talking about life in general!!!

 "Happy birthday day dear Y/N," Hoseok's arm wrapped around your shoulders and pulled you closer to the cake, "Happy birthday to you! Wooo!" The cake was pink, with white frosted lettering- hopefully chocolate inside. You peaked a glance at Jin and gave him a mental 'thank you' because you knew he was the one who made the cake. He winked back at you. 

 "Y/N! Make a wish! You have to make a wish!" Taehyung yelled from across the table. His boxy smile was contagious and you couldn't help but smile back at the boy. Closing your eyes you thought about all the things you could wish for. Money, love, success, etc. Hmm. The possibilities are endless, really. You opened your eyes back up and had made eye contact with the boy seated across from you. 

 Jeon Jungkook. 

The boy who had undoubtedly stole your heart. Though, you were his noona, and you were very positive that he did not like you like that. Why would he? He was the golden child of your friend group. You two met when you guys were younger. You ten, while he was eight. Jimin was your next door neighbor and both your parents thought it would be good if you two became friends. 

 You and Jimin would play Pirate and Princess after school. Jimin would be the pirate and chase you around while you would be the princess and run away from him. It was exactly like tag, but you guys gave it a cooler name. One day, Jimin brought his new friend Jungkook and introduced him to you. You curiously looked over the younger boy. He just turned eight years old. He would blush every time you spoke to him, and you vowed you would take care of him through thick and thin. That cute little nose of his, bunny smile and all.

 All the memories had flood your mind with a simple look. He smiled at you as you gave him a small one back. Looking down at the candles you made your wish and blew each flame out before Taehyung could beat you at it. Everyone cheered again and gave you a hug as Jin cut out a piece for everyone.

 "What did you wish for, Y/N?!" Taehyung shouted from the end of the table while munching happily on the chocolate cake. You smirked and made the zipping motion over your lips. His iconic frowning face appeared.

 "It won't come true if I tell you!" You shouted back at him, also shoving cake into your mouth. Ah, chocolate. You danced a little in your seat at the sweet treat and little to you, a boy across from you was watching you so intently that an elbow from Namjoon-hyung had him accidentally dropping his drink onto himself. 

 "Oh shit," Namjoon muttered out as he began to throw some napkins at Jungkook to help him out. The boy sat there with a 'I'm so done with you' look. Jin began smacking both Namjoon and Jungkook about being so wreckless. Groaning, Jungkook dragged himself to his shared room with said hyung and went to change his outfit. 

 Taehyung and Jimin began giggling as they watched you stare after him. Hoseok pokes you in the cheek and you finally look away from Jungkook to him.
