Fans of the TLC reality show “Sister Wives” have an intense interest in the stars’ real estate dealings. As real estate drama has unfolded on the show, we’ve seen an uptick in views on our previous reporting about the wives’ living situations.
The reality show about the polygamous family of Kody Brown, his four sister wives (Meri, Janelle, Christine, and Robyn), and their combined 18 children offers a view into their controversial lifestyle.
Spurred on by your clicks, we dove even deeper into their property purchases.
As we’ve reported in the past, the show’s stars left Sin City behind in favor of Flagstaff, AZ. The women placed their adjacent homes on a gated cul-de-sac in Las Vegas on the market.

While all four wives have sold their homes in Las Vegas, Robyn, the only woman legally married to Kody, turned around and invested in a new place in Flagstaff last summer.
Robyn may be in no rush to leave the plush five-bedroom residence on 4 acres that she and Kody bought for $890,000. Meanwhile, the other sister wives had reportedly remained in rentals. While there’s talk that Christine may have decided to buy, we have no indication she’s purchased a home of her own, yet.
Still, plans seem to be afoot—to build something. Property records indicate that Kody has made several land grabs with his different “wives” in Flagstaff two years ago. Here are all the holdings we spotted.

Kody picked up this three-bedroom, three-bathroom home in September 2018 for $520,000. The 2,400-square-foot layout includes a new kitchen with granite counters and stainless-steel appliances. This space opens to the living and dining area with vaulted ceilings. A family room features a fireplace and bar. The home is equipped with solar panels, and there’s a wraparound deck and covered back patio (with hot tub) for entertaining. A big plus? The home on 2 acres is located less than a mile from Coyote Pass, where the Browns have picked up a few parcels of land.

Kody’s land grab
This 2.42-acre spread in Coyote Pass was billed in the listing as a chance to “build your dream home on a treed parcel.” It’s unclear when Kody picked up the property, but it had last been on the market in 2016 for $222,900. The landscape offers views of the San Francisco Peaks, and it’s located minutes from Flagstaff.

Kody purchased another Coyote Pass lot with Christine for $300,000 in 2018. The 5.16-acre space boasts “privacy and serenity,” as well as “breathtaking views.” It’s said to be a perfect location for a home tucked into the dense Ponderosa Pines. On the land, an island pond brings in deer and elk.

Kody and Robyn
This duo picked up two different lots in June 2018. One is 4.48 acres “uniquely located overlooking a pond,” for which they paid $180,000. It also has views of the San Francisco Peaks.

The second is 2.42 acres, a “gentle sloping” parcel with a blend of ponderosa pines and meadowlands. It was purchased for $170,000.

So now that they’ve accumulated all this land in a picturesque locale, what will they build? The options could be for a single megahouse for the entire extended family, or a compound of separate homes where the wives could spread out.
The Browns couldn’t seem to agree on their next move. In Season 13, Kody seemed set on persuading everyone to live under one roof, and even had plans drawn up to show what that could look like. 
But not all the wives were sold. Specifically, Christine voiced her preference to opt out of one giant family dwelling.

However, fans are abuzz over a photo posted by Christine, which looks to show construction on one of the Coyote Pass parcels. Fans will have to wait for another season, if there is one, to find out the dramatic conclusion to this real estate cliffhanger.
